if we don't get a good ending in the game oftentimes we're not too happy but what about secret endings that are wild hi folks its Falcon and today on game ranks 10 ridiculous secret endings in recent games starting off at number 10 the outer worlds is all about choice you can be violent nonviolent smart or even stupid yeah it has come up a lot before but for good reason the fact that the game allows you to use special stupid dialogue options if your intelligence score is low enough is one thing but the fact that you can get a special ending by choosing the option is wonderful what can you do that's so stupid that it ends the game well basically your main goal in the outer worlds is to revive a colony ship filled with a ton of frozen colonists near the end of the game you finally got all the resources you need to revive everyone but first you have to steer the ship to a safe place everyone you talk to you makes a really big deal over how dangerous it is to navigate the ship in a solar system they go on and on about how even with a super AI at the controls there's a good chance the ship well crash so yeah you can probably guess where this is going yeah when you get to the bridge of the colony ship and your intelligence is low enough to get the stupid dialogue option you can choose to steer the ship yourself instead of having your AI do it this does not go well on a scale of pointless but easy to miss endings and video games that are hilarious and dumb this one actually ranks pretty high at number nine its second rose dragon's homecoming ending moving on from stupid and pointless to incredibly convoluted this ending which is probably the most complex out of the four possible endings the game has is basically along and completely unexplained fetch quest from software quest design is in full effect here folks so you've got multiple fail states look if you fight this boss Chen Ichiro without talking to some old woman first you cannot get this ending you have to use items and completely unexplained ways like this part where you have to eat this rice given by the divine child but not this rice this rice this rice you have to give to Lord Kudo don't forget to having to talk to a character multiple times even after they don't seem like they'll talk to you anymore yeah the entire from software catalog is here here's the thing you're not getting this anything unless you use a guide and look at this thing there's 15 steps to this guide alone as far as secret I think it's go they definitely make you put in the work for it but doing it at least give some context just what the hell is going on in this game and gives you a reason to do some of the weird and off-the-wall stuff it's possible like one of the steps is actually possessing this monkeys you can kill a giant snake there's no reason to even find these snakes unless you're going for this ending so yeah probably the most confusing and convoluted ending of the year it's not all time and a number eight Devil May Cry 's prologue victory this is a classic set up in the prologue you fight the main bad guy arisen and he kicks your ass because you as Nero are way too weak to defeat him you spent the rest of the game getting back to where you were to fight him for real this time but here's the cool thing you can actually beat him and the prologue is totally possible I mean it's basically impossible normally but it can be done it would take a very long time and some pretty clutch dodging skills to beat him fair and square but thankfully you don't have to just crank the difficulty down use all those new game+ abilities and he's pretty easy to take down actually sadly the ending you get for this isn't bad grade it's basically just a black screen saying you won but still it's actually pretty funny moving on to number seven its kingdom heart 3s user a secret Kingdom Hearts games are known for two things of course their mashup of Disney characters and worlds with Square Enix Final Fantasy stuff and of course their convoluted complicated all around totally insane plots that's not to sell them short they're great games but there's nothing this series loves more than hiding a secret bonus movie or epilogue to leave fans with their heads spinning until the next game and being this is basically the finale we weren't really thinking we would get a teaser for a next game but square is sneakily snuck this bonus ending with patch 1.08 a lower D now of course this being Kingdom Hearts you don't just get this little ending bonus you don't just beat the game and get it you have to find these lucky emblems hidden all over the place weirdly the requirement for finding them gets lower as the difficulty level gets higher so getting this ending on proud mode is actually a lot easier but when you get enough emblems and beat the game this happens yep this is pretty weird it looks like Sora in modern days Shibuya Tokyo right that's crazy enough but if you played Kingdom Hearts 3 you know the name of this ending Yozora is actually the name of the protagonist of the in universe game veeram rex which will actually see a lot of in the Toy Story section of the gam so you're in a game within a game even weirder veeram Rex's obviously a play on Final Fantasy 13 versus which was the game that was eventually cancelled and later turned into Final Fantasy 15 even though the end product was significantly different which was worked on by Tetsuya Nomura the lead director of Kingdom Hearts basically just a bunch of total meta nonsense so let's move on [Music] and at six days Gaughan's Nero secret so when you finish day is gone it seems like everything's pretty wrapped up you rescue your girlfriend you've beaten the bad guys but oh wait part of the game is helping out this Nero researcher in his investigation into the freaker's which you know the fast zombies basically Nero is basically the CDC in this game the Center for Disease Control and throughout the game this guy has helped you out but you never seen his face and you found out that Nero is holed up in some bunker somewhere completely sealed off from the rest of the world presumably to avoid contamination well after finishing the game just do stuff clear out some horns finish up some side missions basically you need to just wait and eventually the Nero guy you've been in contact with will meet you at the cemetery where you first saw near Isle and he takes off his mask then he jumps into the helicopter from the ground so basically the game goes full Resident Evil with Nero being a whole organization of Wesker's which is basically a pretty crazy sci-fi twist on what has been a pretty grounded game so far even though it's mostly just a sequel hook it's completely crazy and awesome actually and at number five is outer wilds alien meeting oh yeah we're talking both outer worlds and outer while to the same list having trouble telling them apart well remember that outer worlds is in space and outer wilds is in space ah while outer wilds has these dudes they're actually pretty different we're just making jokes at this point one's a miss like puzzle solving game with a Majora's Mask into the world reset twist and the other one is a new Fallout game that doesn't suck oh I bet that hurts fallout 76 outer wilds has a secret ending which involves getting one of the many mysteries that the little solar system you're in super solved most of the secrets and puzzles are required to be able to finish this game but this one isn't it's all about getting through the mysterious Quantum Moon in meeting the alien outside the center of the galaxy if you actually do manage to find them he'll be there when you reach the I of the universe and will help you out along with the other explorers you managed to find along the way isn't that nice there's a few different endings to the outer wilds but this is probably the most satisfying it's definitely the funkiest at least and at number four is Metro Exodus is good ending Metro Exodus like the previous Metro games actually keeps track of the good and bad things you do and therefore it changes your ending accordingly like so many other games as well if you do good stuff like not shooting innocent people help out your buddies or just generally be nice you'll get a good ending but if you miss out on some of these context-sensitive actions or if you had no idea they even existed which is likely on account the only a notification you've done something good there's a weird little flash of light on the screen with no explanation as to what that meant so what actually happens well basically the game ends at this dead City you're there for a radiation cure getting it leaves you intensely irradiated though so it's up to your buddies to save you and if you've been a jerk this whole time kicking radiation puppies and stuff you'll die but if you've been nice like sneaking past these hostile but innocent enemies you'll survive some particularly complicated but this game never tells you that there are morality choices hell I played the previous two games in the series and I didn't realize there were morality choices in them until this game that's how easy they are to miss [Music] and number three is blood-stained ritual of the night and it's reverse castle this game basically made all its money on a Kickstarter as being a nostalgia reboot of Castlevania Symphony of the Night right but enough talk so pretty much had to have one of that game's most famous features I'm talking about the reverse Castle the second half of the game hidden behind a cryptic sequence of clues that gives you a secret method to break the spell of Richter Belmont well yeah it does have that it's not exactly an entire second castle or anything like that it's just two new areas but just like Symphony of the Night it gives you the true ending rather than the standard disappointing ending where you just kill the guy who's clearly not quite the bad guy so in blood-stained you find gabble in the Hall of termination if you don't do anything special then nothing happens you just kill him and get the bad ending but if you fully explored the castle and got a special sword you can break the illusion of the area by slashing the blood-red moon from there you can go into the other world which is basically a shorter weirder version of the reverse Castle of symphony and you get the true ending it's also probably the least secret secret ending on here because this game's well connected to a game with probably the most well known secret ending of all time but the did put a fun twist on it at least the fact you actually had to attack the moon actually got me to a surprise like pretty much the whole game this secret ending is basically like Symphony of the Night but with its own interesting twist on it you'll pay for this transgression death is too kind for you and at number two Dragon Quest builders twos hidden epilogue Dragon Quest builders is of course a massive game just like the rest of the games the main Dragon Quest series there's an epilogue of sorts but here's the thing you'd never think it would be in there why because it's so friggin hard to get here's the stuff you have to do to unlock this secret ending finish 35 tablet missions unlock 45 recipes finish every scavenger hunt every scavenger hunt finish every scavenger hunt all of them not some of them all of them and share a builder topia block may have been able to tell from the way I said all of those things particularly the scavenger hunt one or perhaps from playing the game itself that that's a lot of stuff you pretty much have to 100% the game and even in 50 plus hours we're nowhere close to getting there here thankfully it doesn't add any shocking twists are important information is just a nice little bonus for going through all the trouble of doing all that junk not the most exciting but the fact that exists and that barely anyone has seen it is interesting enough and finally at number one is blasphemous path of the believer I mean this is already a really super weird and dark gam but it's totally possible to get the end of this game and not even really realize what the goal of it is like what are you even doing are you supposed to stop the miracle basically the reason the world is so weird and screw up or join with it are you gonna contain it you could trying to make it worse who really knows but it is pretty easy to tell the standard ending where you try to climb the mountain of ash but instead sink to the bottom of a literal pile of ash is not the good ending or whatever counts as a good ending when the game is as convoluted as this game how you actually get the good and/or true ending is only slightly less convoluted than the one in second arrow but the method is unfortunately very similar use items that you don't think you can you talk to very specific NPCs and very specific locations destroy some statues that you probably never thought that you would even be able to let alone that you would have to and the let's just stick with true ending is yours you're finally able to climb that big ol mountain of ash and OH you stab yourself and turn into a tree what does it all mean I don't know it's a pretty wild secret ending and I feel like that's really all you need to know for this video we didn't establish a responsibility of needing to understand anything here right right job done Falcon so did you play any of these games get any of these endings
