10 Pet Updates Minecraft NEEDS to add

we just added in ten brand new pets to Minecraft because look if we're being honest there just are not enough minecraft pets and we need more from new dog and cat variations that are just to die for to rare and exotic biome specific mobs that you'll need to travel to to find some even live in their own dimension plus they all have special abilities to help you out in game let's check out all ten of them right now we start today in the coldest of Tundras to check out the penguins our dear friends the penguins are a new mob that you can find in snowy mountain by omaree's look at you oh boy he's got somewhere to be yeah we went to go visit the frogs see he's not actually my pet just yet we'll need to tame this guy first to do that we'll need to get our hands on a royal fish you can get this special type of fish by fishing specifically in snowy mountain or nuts mountain but snowy / icy biome types not always guaranteed to get the royal fish on your first bite but then you luck ooh we got lucky indeed alright so come on back here baby it's time to eat aha yeah I got it always right click we didn't like that good thing I have whole stack of these things right click until you get the hearts as you're normally used to man he's hungry and now he's your pet penguin now these pets work a little bit differently cuz we're to use some command magic but essentially you'll know they're in sitting mode when you right-click them and the block underneath them changes to something different from the other blocks that are normally around so in this case he's in sitting mode and now he's not in sitting mode which means your penguin will follow you around now the cool thing about these pets as they said is they all give special powers namely with the penguin oh my gosh I'm going it's a slider out of the cutest on ice you get a speed to boost so long as your penguin is nice and feet oh wait he didn't eat the fish you just came with the fish he eats sugar and every once in a while you'll see a chat message pop up this is your pet is out of food in order for you to use your pets special abilities you'll actually need to make sure that they're nice and fed they can live just fine without any food they won't die or anything but you won't be able to use any of their powers if you're not feeding them regularly to feed them just drop all the food they like right on top of them you can hear them burping and going nuts but this penguin has a second power as well take your sweet time buddy you can also tell your pet is out of food if they're giving off these blue particle effects so eat up buddy's not moving the Penguins other ability is that this little guy will go fishing for you it's amazing every minute or so while you're in water the penguin will actually fish out an additional fish or two at random so you look you just found a cod right there it'll just pop off of them because that's how we had to code or deal with them on death they also drop cod don't ask how it happened my friends it's time for us to jump to the swamp to check out our next type of pet the frogs frogs will naturally spawn in in the swamp biome we could go and find one but we got some spawn eggs right here so I'll spare you all of the trouble look at these ugly little Oh Nick they're like not very Charlie's now we want to tame one of these frogs we're gonna need to do something very special firstly we're gonna need to harvest some insects we'll need to craft an insect trap by doing that here's one of the insect traps in action now to make it you'll need five black a concrete one single piece of course dirt and three glass blocks in order to get your mystery item just kidding it's the insect trap once placed down in a swamp these insect traps will collect insects roughly once a minute and once it's collected a few you'll see them stack up in here who doesn't it look tasty well it's not for you contain yourself we're gonna go tame a frog with it get back here I got your food about you need right-click so that you get a tamed frog and similar to all the previous pets including the penguin and future one right click the pet to know when it's in sit mode it'll have a special block on it so what does the Frog do well there's gonna be your best friend when it comes to nearby phantoms that's because the Frog will actually scare away any phantoms when they're nearby for example this one right here and this one notice them trying to fly down they literally get stuck in limbo having the Frog nearby who's gonna keep you safe from any rogue phantoms that went their way with you look they literally can't reach me new best friend look oh he's going nuts oh you try to get to the insects and sorry you're not that smart you can't just do those things well go ahead and turn it back to daytime so we can watch these 80 stop burning alive good work oh great now he's hungry which means the power is gonna cease but I'm pretty sure these guys are done anyways you can see though they can begin to start flying down but I have a feeling they're gonna bite the dust sometime in the new yep now the frogs also eat the insects that you tame them like not every pet is like that he's hungry on top of that all your hits will have a 20% chance to cause your opponent and to leap into the air as a passive effect the Frog been broadcast but you just saw right there bless he also attacks kind of hilarious to be honest get yeah yeah yo that nuggets for you baby are you hungry again frogs oh drop anything time for us tell my friends to jump to our next pet me or cats in the middle of the desert look at you they're fairly calm and mob if you were to go look for them we're just gonna spawn one in instead hi oh Mandy's gone they do have similar behavior to untamed cats and ocelots they'll start going nuts we're gonna have to tame them in order to do that we're gonna need a mere cat food bowl simple enough it's just a regular ol bowl a golden care a golden apple and a glistering melon and then we'll get our special meerkat bull yo this guy's got expensive taste taming the creature requires patience cuz they will flee you'll need to hold the food in your hand and then let the meerkat hopefully come to you why don't we just try with the new one huh come on yeah yeah oh he loves me eat yes got'em now meerkats work a little different since they're just similar to regular cats in there sit mode there's no block special change get off the trying to no no no get no sit good yeah they just sit as normal you want to feed them though ooh and there's the power they have by the way I may as well tell you about it now every once in a while one of the meerkats special powers is that they'll dig the block found underneath them which can oftentimes come with some special goodies like Flint no but really emeralds arrows feathers like a lot of these and stuff to be honest get off the cheap but as I said you'll need to get a whole lot of hay blocks if you want to keep these guys nice and satisfied so they keep digging around eat up baby oh look he dug because he was so excited egg that's it when you do better than that drop simulator BAM look at that oh yeah nice ooh you'll give it to me again with all that flint got an emerald that time these are examples of some of the various drops your meerkat will be able to find when digging around in the desert or really anywhere you can have them dig wherever you want they just happen to be from the desert eggs again come on meerkats drop nothing on death next pitch monkeys to the jungle we go so we can show you this special monk is our new mob that you can find in the jungle by omen gosh the kind of gross looking knocking oh sorry man we're gonna need to tame him as well now the way you tame monkeys where did he did he climbed oh there you are hi so you have a chance at getting special bananas depending on when and where you are breaking leaf blocks namely they have to be jungle leaf flux and namely you have to be the jungle to get to them as I said they're an occasional rare drop that you can get from breaking jungle leaf blocks so I'm gonna break a few see if I can get my hands on any oh there we go perfect how about it look at you bun on they look sharp with enough bananas in hand you can actually tame this guy similar story right click now this one does have the sitting mode with the block now they're also going to eat the bananas so you're gonna want to get your hands on some shears and collect some leaves otherwise you're gonna have trouble feeding this guy but he's got some really cool powers well I gotta feed him when the monkey is in your near vicinity you can actually use it to climb up trees notice we're going above trees now even though there's not vines on every single block on top of that you can also cling to the bottom of various different types of leaves when you are moving around in and on and in this case under trees it's a beautiful thing really now if you were to leave the leaf block you'd start to fall once again oh gosh and occasionally bounce really high up I'm in trouble I can leave me hanging like that dude that was very very unprofessional this is cool though it makes no out of food oh great now we're gonna have to see what happens maybe he'll keep helping me can we yeah he gonna keep helping me but not for too much longer if we leave him unfed for a while yet things are not going good for us here here I'll come feed you buddy are we still in the leaves yeah we are ooh boy they drop bananas time to show off salamanders which means we're headed to the nether ooh baby ein what was that the pug we'll get to him later salamanders are exclusively found in the nether you won't be able to find this pet anywhere else yo he is gained more man we'll go for a swim later okay we're also going to need an insect trap placed in the nether in order for this one to work out for us but the bugs that are collected in this thing differ compared to in the swamps this time were collecting Hell worms so get over here it's time to eat ha ha okay good we got him with only one worm to go so again similar sitting pattern here check it out boom he's in sitting mode now the salamander will actually eat nether wart so finally you've got a reason to have a whole bunch of these because I know you all don't use potions the power of the salamander is to give you fire resistance when you are near by lava so you can very easily navigate the nether when you've got this pet handy around you I'm gonna feed him a little bit more I'm gonna show you something even cooler about the salamander as well it's kind of got to push him and get there we go we're riding them no we're literally riding on salamander right now and whatever direction you look is the direction the salamander will take you notice again we're not taking any damage so we can get to a multitude of different places in the nether now at a reasonable speed because I know you don't move this fast on lava yourself you don't have to lie to me it's okay I know it's embarrassing you're embarrassing what can I say just make sure he doesn't run out of food while you're riding on him or you're probably gonna have a bad time I are we good are we where did where did he oh I am stuck in a block oh my salamanders suffocated in the wall yeah these things happen sometimes to the bug a dog bugs can rarely be found in any biome that you might normally be able to find a wolf in here's what they look like look at you you flat faced wonder but to tame one you're gonna need to craft yourself a diamond bone because these pugs have very expensive taste you need eight blocks of diamonds and one bone I know you break the bank on the bone right with any luck though we'll only need two of these bones in order to get us what we need so come on over baby what's good not that are you kidding me where are the 18 diamond blocks deep there we go now you play right right similar to the cat meerkat there it's got its own sitting animation so no special block will appear underneath it you better have a good power man naturally the pugs got expensive eating habits as well you'll need to take a steak and chop it up into eight special meat nuggets in order to feed this guy yes yes yes but if your pug is supplied with enough food then it will affect all witches and pillagers nearby with weakness so we'll just summon in a witch right now and we'll summon in a pillager right now and as you can see they instantly have weakness effect applied to them which means that they will in fact deal less damage than normal right now I have on no armor and this pillager is only dealing about two hearts of damage to me whenever it does any damage to me but I should probably feel it okay come here let me feed you ridiculous so believe it or not the Pug is a great mob pet to have with you when you're exploring areas like the swamp to get yourself a nice new pet frog as well but doesn't end there with the Pug pugs are naturally afraid of the nighttime so if we were to set the time to nighttime approximately what you'd notice oh gosh feed you again ridiculous when the plug is nice and fed you'll notice that nighttime actually speeds by way faster than normal this pug is literally capable of time control it's a beautiful thing so it's a fantastic way for you to skip nights a lot more quickly compared to actually going through bed bugs drop nothing it's time for the chameleon yes and so we head to the badlands for these guys but they only show up in the Badlands during the night they won't show up at any other time here's what they look like they kind of look like salamanders it must be dizzy distant cousins no you can't go visit the corrupted Pig we'll get to them soon but to tame a chameleon we're gonna need to feed it a new parrot drop parrot me yeah sorry parrots you guys have seen better days to be honest with any luck okay cool we got one well I have to kill a few to get the right amount of meat get back here oh wait there's a chestful yeah yeah so spawning a chameleon let's feed it some parrot meat hello and it's got its sit mode animation as well so we'll go ahead and eat on it oh he okay we got a few more something else oh yeah melons he loves his melons and me practically looks like I didn't mean it now once you've fed you chameleon a whole bunch o melons stop running I'm trying to stuff you at nighttime it will give you a very special power when the chameleon is nearby you you already you turn invisible that's right because it's a chameleon and then you get it gives you invisibility at night so you can hide from mobs yes they also spit on any undead mobs that hit you in order to protect you so we got a skeleton right here spit on them baby yeah yeah spit on them he spit you spitting on him can't tell you I'm a punch on him yo he sucks oh no don't attack my community are you attacking the melon do you have a problem let's try with a zombie instead you'll get him yah yah die oh he's out of food of course he's eat the melon stop eat see look he just got spit of course right he's eating they spit on him get him come on do something do anything yes you'll actually see a particle effect when this special ability stop the boat see look he's stuck okay stop attacking him now fine here they don't drop anything but now it's time for the corrupted pigs oh and so we head to the end for this one I know what happened German shepherds oh that happens soon but for now the pigs these pigs are fairly common they'll spawn in all over and islands so if you happen to cross any well it's nothing special like I said they spawning all over the place just kill one right now you don't drop anything now these aren't tamed in the traditional sense we're not gonna feed them anything to tame them we're actually gonna need to head to an end City dungeon every so often an end City loot chest or the warship loot chest will contain an ender saddle place the saddle on the pig and now it's very happy to see you and you can sit on it and you know it's cool uh-huh nobs kid he does more first of all while on the pig if you look directly down you'll have access to a very special piggy bank in which you could store things at a moment's notice it's fantastic and I love the name piggy bank on top of that if you've got some eyes of ender handy whenever you drop on whatever direct got whatever direction you're looking when you drop it is the direction you will travel to and you won't take any damage while doing it either so check this out this is beautiful you'll we're going nuts all over the blood this is the best wow-wow-wow a little pig on the top here yo this might be my new favorite can we go through walls not isn't like nuts all over the place this is two more pets next up the German Shepherd unfortunately you can't find a German Shepherd in the wild you'll instead need to spawn run in by killing 100 sheep your action bar up above will tell you how many of these you need to kill before you're ready for it so in this case we have 98 more sheep to go okay that's 99 and 100 German Shepherd unlocked all we need to do now is approach a wolf in game you'll notice that you're ready for it with the particles you have surrounding you so we'll just spawn in a wolf and then check it out instantly becomes a German Shepherd look at you baby but you'll still need to tame this German Shepherd once you spawned in will need golden mutton yes the dogs have really expensive taste for some reason to make it you're gonna need eight blocks of gold as well as one piece of cooked mutton placed in your crafting table just like this and you'll get your item down there so hopefully he doesn't need 64 of these muttons in order to be tamed where'd he go hey man trying to tame you right now what's good baby eat up yeah and like it fat he's tamed now he's so excited when the German Shepherd is around you if you sneak sheep from all around will be highlighted up to 50 blocks away bad example the only one sheep right now but we're just gonna you know okay so check this out Oh highlight yeah look at that look at you oh he's at of course he is now look this was an oversight I wasn't the one that said to feed the dog wool do not feed pets wool in fact you don't feed most don't feed the most food things you've seen me feed it's a game okay calm down okay so it looks like it only highlights like a couple that are nearby but that's okay cuz like he's good at finding sheep or something you know so you know it counts but more importantly if you do feed it red wool while it's around you all sheep will be one hit kills yes that's right died the chickens not one hit kill sheep though suck and to be honest what's more fun than just one hitting sheep all over the place not much I don't get out often they don't drop anything and now my friend is the final pet the skeleton cat yes this one's gonna be awesome you'll need to find a regular cat and so you'll have to make sure that they don't run too far from you but you're gonna need to feed them an undead fish which is right here and in order to make it you're gonna need eight bone blocks as well as a raw fish in this case a cod once you've got that you've got your undead fish so with any luck we might be able to get this good come on oh yeah you go play hard to get typical come on yeah yeah now die oh no come groveling back for more huh oh gosh uh huh well maybe I shouldn't have been feeding you this huh look at this lovely little skeleton kitty cat now you'll actually need to feed the cat bones again by dropping it on the cat and if the cat is well-fed she doesn't appear to be it will keep you safe from skeletons at night allow me to show you it's now nighttime and look at these skeletons ah she already nothing they can't do anything they're the worst thanks skeleton cat you're the best just keep keep eating them it's funny we're literally feeding them the skeletons that they're keeping us safe from hey I could get behind this until it's daytime and then look these guys just start burning on their own so keep this
