[Music] welcome to the Shepherd's chapel Network family Bible study hour with pastor Dennis Murray wisdom is understanding God's word pastor Murray's unique teaching approach brings God's Word alive with meaning as he takes you on a chapter by chapter verse by verse study of God's letter to you the Bible and now here is pastor Dennis Murray good day to you god bless you welcome to shepherd's chapel welcome to this family Bible study our ready to get back into our father's word here at the chapel this beautiful book of kings we're gonna pick it up today first Kings chapter 6 verse 17 and in the fourth year of the reign of King Solomon they built began construction of the house of God commonly known as Solomon's Temple and when we ended our last lecture we'd basically completed the exterior description of the building and the foundation and had moved inside of the temple the temple took seven and a half years to construct basic structure the exterior and the interior and almost an additional three years to completely finish out the interior and also to create the utensils and the furniture used by the priests in the worship of Yahweh now let's ask that word of wisdom in Yeshua's precious name father we ask you to open it eyes open ears this day as we continue the description of the temple the temple Solomon's Temple kept first kings chapter 6 verse 17 and it reads and the house that is the temple before it was 40 cubits long we had just described the holy of holies also called the Oracle which was 20 cubits and now if you walked in from the porch to the front doors of the actual sanctuary what this is saying you would have 40 cubits in the interior before you got to the entry into the Holy of Holies and we're gonna learn a lot more about the entry into the Holy of Holies today now this 40 cubits which is approximately two-thirds of the entire length of the sanctuary in that you would find such things as the altar of incense offering near the Holy of Holies the entry to it you would also find the showbread table and and also the golden candlestick menorah in the Hebrew language as well now not everyone was allowed into the sanctuary it was restricted as far as who was allowed you had to be a Levitical priest not just a Levite but a priest to enter into this area and of course the Oracle itself the the home of God where the Ark of the Covenant was kept only one person that being the high priest was allowed to enter the Holy of Holies and then that was only one day out of each year the day of atonement which was the tenth day of Tishri the seventh month on the Hebrew calendar and then he was only allowed to enter with the blood of a goat for his sins and the blood of a bull for the sin of the peoples verse 18 and the cedar of the house within was carved with knobs and opened flowers and was cedar there was no stone seen and of course there were stone in the structure what this is saying is that everything on the interior was lined with cedar wood you couldn't see the stone was there but it was concealed by the cedar paneling if you will now these knobs are spherical ornaments probably in the shape of what we would consider a gourd of today and is still to this day a popular ornamental figure in the the east now the open flowers you know in the springtime we in Arkansas an apple tree for example the first signs of spring you see or when the apples bud and then that bud as though temperatures increase and the moisture comes and the days start warming up and the Sun comes out those buds open up into flowers and from then the flowers the blossom if you will the fruit eventually comes and that's what those open flowers are symbolic of his life the bud brings forth the the open flower the blossom the blossom brings forth the fruit and the continuation of life verse 19 and the Oracle again the holy of holies this word in the Hebrew is deBeer and it's from the prime debar which means to speak and the reason that was called the holy of holies was called the Oracle or the deBeer in the Hebrew language was that was where God spoke to the Israelites from through the priests through the Urim and Thummim and the Oracle he prepared in the house within to set their the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord prepared in the hinder the hind err farthest from the entry door or a room in the tabernacle verse 20 and the Oracle in the four part the interior and other birds was twenty cubits in length and twenty cubits in breadth and 20 cubits in height thereof and he overlaid it with pure gold and so covered the altar which was of cedar now we're talking about the interior of the Holy of Holies first the dimensions twenty cubits approximately forty feet if we use our 24 inches per cubit but it formed a perfect cube 40 feet and width forty feet in length forty feet in height and remember the total height of the sanctuary was thirty cubits so it didn't go all the way to the ceiling of the sanctuary being my point it was cut off at twenty cubits and the main sanctuary was thirty cubits and not only was it a perfect cube excuse me and Solomon's Temple if you go to Ezekiel chapter 41 the Millennial temple the Holy of Holies is a cube there the mosaic Tabernacle although it was smaller interior dimensions than what Solomon's Temple but in Exodus 26 we learned that it was a cube there as well it's an interesting study in itself to compare the tent of Moses the mosaic tabernacle with the Temple of Solomon and also the Millennial temple which again is described in Ezekiel chapter 41 I look forward to the temple that John saw when he was taken to the eternity in Revelation chapter 21 verse 22 he was looking for the temple but he said there was no temple thereof because God Almighty and the lamb were the temple thereof now he covered the altar which was of cedar now this is talking about the altar of incense burning not the altar of burnt-offering which would be outside of the temp the the tabernacle in the inner court the altar that we're talking about here was kept outside of the Holy of Holies and obviously if you're going to burn something it better be made out of something other than cedar or you're going to burn it up obviously it had probably a flat stone or possibly a bowl-shaped stone that the incense was burned in and then the stand for the table was made out of cedar and it was also covered with pure gold now when they covered it with pure gold what it's talking about is they they stamped or beat the gold into thin plates or sheets and then they use tacks to attach the the sheets to the item that they were covering with the gold verse 21 so Solomon overlaid the house within with pure gold and he made a petition by the chains of gold before the Oracle and he overlaid it with gold now the doors to the tabernacle which we'll get to here in several more verses but then most of you are familiar to that there was a veil that was over the doorway so that people would not accidentally look in and see the Holy of Holies you said that meant certain death if you weren't the high priest on the Day of Atonement to come in the presence of Almighty God meant death at this time of course the veil were the first thing that Christ did when he was crucified he rent that veil he toward the veil from top to bottom and what does that mean to you and and me it means that today we could go right on in you you can you can talk to your heavenly father directly because that veil was rent by Jesus Christ I thank him for doing that but this was a truly fantastic marvelous house that was built for our Heavenly Father and of course he was deserving of it verse 22 and the whole house as being the holy place and the most holy he overlaid with gold until he had finished all the house also the whole altar that was by the Oracle he overlaid with gold again this is the altar of incense burning a truly magnificent house 23 and within the Oracle this is the Holy of Holies he made two cherubim of olive tree each ten cubits high the the word cherubim if you check it out in your Strong's Concordance you'll find that it means protection or overlay and that's what the cherubims their function was was to protect the mercy seat the mercy seat if you're not familiar was the lid if you will for the Ark of the Covenant it formed the top of the Ark of the Covenant and if you're familiar with Exodus chapter 37 verses 7 and 8 when the original Ark of the Covenant was designed of course God is the one who said what it was to be like but an artisan by the name of bezel eel made the two cherubims that of gold that stood on either side of the mercy seat and the wings protecting and you know I think this is probably where the notion sprang and in in man that angels have wings because the cherubims that bezel ield artists fashioned if you will out of gold they had wings there were human forms with wings and I think that's partially the reason man has always thought that angels have wings but you know we are created in God and the Angels image we don't have wings and guess what neither do the Angels have wings that's a simply symbolic of the protection that they offer for the mercy seat this olive tree thought to be wholly aster which is actually a wild olive that not a domestic or an olive that's used in all common olive yards but the wood is hard and durable 24 and five cubits was the one wing of the cherub and five cubits the other wing of the cherub from the outermost part of one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were 10 cubits so you've got two cherubims you're gonna we're gonna find that they're identical and each of them is 10 cubits from wing tip to wing tip each one of them is 10 cubits and remember our though the interior of the Holy of Holies is 20 cubits across so if you walked into the entrance of the Holy of Holies on the back wall you would see covering from one end of the Holy of Holies to the other these two cherubims protecting the mercy seat the Ark of the Covenant verse 25 and the other cherub was ten cubits they were identical both the cherubims were one measure in one size verse 26 the height of the one cherub was 10 cubits and so was it of the other cherub and our entire high of the Holy of Holies was 20 cubits and the cherubims are 10 cubits so they they're they're their height would be approximately half way up to the ceiling of the Holy of Holies verse 27 and he set the cherubims within the inner house inside of the Holy of Holies and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims so that the wing of the one touched the one wall and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house filling the entire length or width of the house completely protecting the mercy seat 28 and he overlaid the cherubims with gold truly fantastic but again not many men would see this with their own eyes after the dedication of the temple and the majesty the glory of God filling the Holy of Holies unclean man could not stand in the presence 29 and he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers within and without in Ezekiel chapter 41 verse 18 the Millennial temple these cherubims and palm trees and open flowers are alternating in other words you would have first the cherubim then a palm tree and then an open flower and then start over again with the cherubim a palm tree and an open flower the palm tree Tamar in the Hebrew language interesting because it's the symbol of life to the people of the east I forget how many uses there are from the Prague that come from the palm tree but man can basically survive or exist if he has a palm tree that is producing and we already discussed the open flowers and the the the purpose of them being fruitful if you will verse 30 and the floor of the house he overlaid with gold within and without even the floor was covered with gold and you know you read about the tremendous quantities of gold and silver and bronze that were accumulated by David and Solomon for the house of God and you can see that it took a lot of gold to cover the entire overlaid the floor with gold verse 31 and for the entering of the Oracle this is the entrance into the Holy of Holies he made doors of olive tree the lintel and the side posts the lintel you could think of as the header if you will and the side post were a fifth part of the wall that's a little bit hard to understand but if you take the total width or breadth of the Holy of Holies is 20 cubits across which is approximately 40 feet then you take a fifth part of that a fifth part of 20 cubits is four cubits and that's what this is saying that the door to the entry to the Holy of Holies was four cubits in width and that would be approximately eight feet if we used our 24 inches to the cubit verse 32 the two doors also were of olive tree and in other words one of the doors covered half of the entry the other covered the other half and so not to confuse you and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers and overlaid them with gold and spread gold upon the cherubims and upon the palm trees and second chronicles chapter 3 verse 14 we learned that the veil was of blue and purple and crimson and made of fine linen the blue crimson and purple always symbolic of royalty the entry to the home of God when he resided with man here on earth certainly royalty 33 so also made he for the door of the temple post of olive tree a fourth part of the wall now this jumps to the main entrance to the temple if you were standing on the porch to the temple and go in through the front door that's what this is talking about a fourth part of the wall again our width of the total building was twenty cubits so if you take a fourth of that would be five cubits and so your exterior door from the porch to entering into the holy place not the Holy of Holies but the holy place was approximately ten feet and the two doors again one door on one side one on the other were a fir tree or Cypress the two leaves of the one door were folding and the two leaves of the other door were folding in other words they could be independently opened and shut I think that likely the doors were also where you could open the top and leave the bottom closed or you could open the bottom and leave the top closed other words they were there were four quarters of the entry doors I believe verse 35 and he carved there on cherubims and palm trees and open flowers and covered them with gold fitted upon the carved work and again everything that was gold-plated was they would take gold in and beat it into thin plates and then using tax that the tax probably had ornamental cherubims palm trees and open flowers on them as they attached them to the walls in other words back in verse 29 we saw that we had the cherubims and and the palm trees and the open flower on the walls of the house round about I think probably attaching these gold plates to the walls verse 36 and he built the inner court with three rows of huge stone and a row of cedar beams now we move outside of the tabernacle and this would be from the porch on away from the tabernacle you have this inner court now the inner court the what you would find there would be the altar of burnt-offering where sacrifices were made you would also have the labors which we'll be getting to in the next several chapters and the labors were utilized to wash the sacrifices after the animal had been slaughtered before placing them on the altar of burnt-offering an addition that will find in Solomon's Temple that you had in the inner court that you did not have in the inner Court of the Mosaic Tabernacle was the the molten sea obviously when Israel was moving around from place to place it was been impossible to transport something as large as the molten sea we'll learn in the next verse next lesson or two that the molten sea contained approximately 18,000 gallons of water we're talking about a small swimming pool and in the the molten sea the priests themselves washed in preparation before serving in the temple verse 37 in the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the Lord laid in the month zip zip the second month and in the Hebrew it actually means blooming and it would equate to our May now the fourth year don't confuse we're not talking about the fourth year when they began the temple the the fourth year of Solomon's reign is when they began or laid the foundation for the house in other words they began building in the fourth year of Solomon 38 and in the eleventh year in the month Buhl which is the eighth month on the Hebrew calendar which is the eighth month and I shouldn't have said that was the house finished throughout all the parts thereof and according to all the fashion of it so was he seven years in building yet they began in Ziff the second month they ended in bewl the eighth month it took seven and a half years to complete the house of God a house fit for a king and this took the place of course of the mosaic Tabernacle which was located at Gibeon up until the temple was built they took the mosaic Tabernacle down and placed it in one of the storage rooms of the temple as a historic piece to be kept a tent that was suited for a nomadic people now placed by a stone building and you know imagine the people the excitement and and the joy as they saw this temple coming to be before their very eyes a symbol that God keeps his promises he said I will dwell with you as long as you will keep my Commandments and do my statutes man has problem doing then and to any length of time it seems like but for this time anyway God was happy with the people of Israel and was dwelling among man now chapter 7 we're gonna be talking about several other buildings he said was a time of peace for Israel and when you have peace and no war on any border you have time to build and Solomon had quite a building appetite and what we're going to be talking about in the first several verses of chapter 7 is Solomon's own palace his house we're going to be talking about the house of the forest of Lebanon we're also going to be talking about pharaoh's daughter's house and all of this was built after the temple Solomon got that right he didn't take off when he became King in the fourth year of his reign building his own house he took things he got things prioritized right and built the house of God then when it was complete he began construction of these other buildings chapter 7 verse 1 but Solomon was building his own house 13 years and he finished all his house so 13 years plus the seven and a half years that he was building the house of God were twenty years into his 40-year reigns again Solomon had quite a building appetite and half of his rain has been spilt spent building continually verse two he built also the house of the forest of Lebanon the length thereof was in hundred cubits and the breadth thereof fifty cubits and the height thereof thirty cubits upon four rows of cedar pillars and this being it had three stories with cedar beams upon the pillars so if we stick with our 24 inches per cubit this building a little larger than the actual tabernacle 200 feet by 100 feet by 60 feet in height now there's a lot of discussion among the various biblical scholars about why they called it the house of the forest of Lebanon some supposed that that Solomon actually built this house in the forest of Lebanon which would be a great distance from Jerusalem to the north I agree with Bullinger who states that it's called the house of the forest of Lebanon because that it took a forest of Cedars of Lebanon to build the house verse 3 and it was covered with cedar above upon the beams and lay on forty five pillars 15 in a row and this kind of difficult to understand what's saying is though that there were 15 side rooms on each level in other words there were three stories and you had 15 side rooms on each level so we had a total of 45 side rooms verse 4 and there were windows in three rows and light was against light in three ranks in the Hebrew this is saying that the windows were psyched against sight meaning that they were directly opposite of each other and all the doors in post were square with the windows and light was against light against sight against site in three ranks and nowhere is it written in God's word that God said to build these buildings he most certainly gave instruction and wrote the design of the tabernacle on David which was then communicated to Solomon but these buildings that were discussing here are strictly by Solomon's design or one of his architects but they're not influenced by God verse six and he made a porch of pillars though this is another building often referred to well it's part of the Kings complex and I think this probably served as a portico or a fancy entrance into the Kings to the entrance to the house of the Cedars of Lebanon the link thereof was fifty cubits and the breadth thereof thirty cubits and the porch was before them are according to them and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them this refers to the porch to support the roof and again this would be a portico or a magnificent entrance into the house it's a separate building than the house of the forest of Lebanon and I think we're about to get the sign that we're gonna stop for today so we're gonna that's a good place to quit the next thing that we'll be talking about is the house of Pharaoh's daughter you know Solomon had I think 700 wives and 300 concubines combines and the daughter of pharaoh gets a real special house I don't know if he built a special house for all the other 699 of his wives if he did I don't think he did because if he did it probably been much longer than into the 20th year of his reign when he got finished building because that would have been a lot of houses Pharaoh's daughter must have been pretty special to Solomon that she got in her own house attached to the Kings complex if you will now I know a lot of this is pretty dry we're trying to make it as interesting as possible but I always remember you know these things are written for our learning and it's it's always good to study God's Word and I know a lot of times it's the first time through for you and it sounds complicated and and difficult but always remember the second and the third time that you address these subjects it starts clicking and making more sense so we're going to work our way through this and Kings gets a lot more interesting in my opinion when we get the temple built and all of the utensils and furniture in place so stick with me and we'll get there we got a short message we'll ask you to listen in a moment won't you please the mark of the beast on CD is our free introductory offer to you what is the mark of the beast many false teachers would have you believe it will be a tattoo on your forehead or a computer chip implanted under your skin it's getting late in the game you need to know what the mark of the beast is as it's written in Revelation chapter 13 verse 8 many will be deceived Christ said in mark 1323 behold i afore told you all things Jesus indeed told us how not to be deceived and pastor Arnold Murray takes you on a step by step study of God's Word concerning this critical subject the telephone call is free the CD is free no shipping 36 don't be deceived by Satan welcome back we're glad you could join back with us let's have the 800 number please 800 six four three four six four five that number good throughout Puerto Rico the US and Canada if you have a biblical question that you'd like to pose to possibly be answered on the air feel free to call that number and leave your question don't ask questions about a specific individual denomination or organization by name we teach God's Word in a positive format throwing out negative about others especially our brothers and sisters in Christ serves no purpose we simply won't do it well that God's Word do the teaching the correcting and the healing if you're listening by shortwave radio or studying via the internet somewhere around the world that's not able to use that 800 number your announcer at the end of the hour we'll give you our mailing address always good to hear from you and quite alright to mail your questions in being the point got a prayer request we can do away with the 800 number you don't need a telephone you don't need a mailing address your heavenly Father is there for you 24/7 and if it's been a while since you talked to him you probably need to if you're like me you fall short you mess up in life we all do if we're honest with ourselves and that's the beauty of Christianity is repentance if you if you go to your heavenly Father with a truly repentant heart and you're willing to admit of your wrongdoing and fess up to it and he'll wipe the slate clean and you know there's no need in walking around with the load of sin on your shoulders when if you go to your father and ask him for forgiveness he's very quick to give it we do have these prayer requests father we come united as one in the name of your son Jesus Christ father we ask you to look upon these you know their needs father addictions to drugs alcoholism father you know if it is your will a special blessing on each of these and we remember our military troops are in harm's way around the world father while children guide direct touch heal in Jesus precious name Amen and thank you Father alright let's get to some questions and see what's on the mind of folks around the country first question today is patty in California the transportation in Ezekiel sounds like it might be a spaceship is that what God will be returning back in and Ezekiel chapter one what's happening there God's throne is being transported to earth why he has some things he wants to talk to Ezekiel about and yes there were vehicles the translation into English states that the vehicles were amber color now if you'll take that word amber in your Strong's Concordance back to the original language you'll learn that in the Hebrew it's actually highly polished bronze so spaceship that would you know spaceships are by man's design the vehicle that they transported the throne of God in and in God and the the four living creatures I'm sure was a lot more sophisticated than what man could ever come up with on his own dave in ohio how does one go about asking forgiveness for sins do they repent for each sin independently or as a whole God knows your heart and mind Dave there's no need for you to itemize your sins when you're repenting you can't ask for forgiveness of all of your sins and the important thing is not whether you are seeking forgiveness for one sin or all of your sins is the important thing is that you have a repentant you see you can't con God he knows what you're thinking he knows what's in your heart and if you don't come to him with the repentant heart he doesn't have to forgive you and probably won't what does repentant mean it means that that you realize the error of your way and and you don't want to continue in that fashion and therefore you're willing to change your heart and your mind and start living according God's Way not your own self-willed way that's what repentance is is the desire to change Jorge in West Virginia did God create earth in heaven in seven literal days or seven thousand years and George is pointing out most likely 2nd Peter chapter 3 verse 8 and where we learned that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day you see George time and this is hard for humans to in the flesh to realize I think but time is really irrelevant to our Heavenly Father you see he was from the very beginning he will be to the very end and there is no time involved in that so seven days seven thousand years it doesn't really matter Douglas in Michigan I'm a new Christian and I can't keep anything in I just want to talk to everyone about the Lord is this the right thing to do please share Scripture about this well I appreciate your enthusiasm Douglas but you asked for scripture and I'm not saying you're doing this but if you're talking to everybody that you see likely you are Matthew chapter 7 verse 6 tells us not to cast our pearls be or swine what does that mean well it means that in the pearls are symbolic of God's truth and the swine are symbolic of those who flat don't care about anything especially about anything to do with God you see the seed that you're blessed with the truth in other words if you plant it on fertile ground with someone who cares in other words it's liable more likely to germinate and grow whereas if you cast it to the swine it probably never will grow but anyway I appreciate your enthusiasm but always protect your credibility if you're talking about God's Word in an audience where it's not at all appreciated consider it John from Florida why did Peter denied Jesus three times did he ever forgive himself you know I know it's written in one of the Gospels that the third time that G that that Peter denied Christ Christ turned and made eye contact with Peter and I know that that Peters heart was just ripped out when that happened I think that he would forgive himself eventually Peter was not a wimp you remember he cut off one of the years of those who came to get Jesus Jesus picked the ear back and put it in place and healed him instantly but Peter was not a wimp I think that that that happened as a lesson to you and me that if Peter the rock that which which is what Peter Petra is the rock that Christ would build the church on could deny Christ three times it's a lesson two the election that not to let it happen to you and we won't we're going to stand and we're gonna stand for the true Jesus Christ we're not going to deny him when the Antichrist appears on earth Bob in Texas I looked up the word word it first appeared in Genesis 15 1 then I found it capitalized wor D and John 1:1 in the beginning was the word all caps would you speak on this some so that I can square it away in my mind ok well in John chapter 1 verse 1 in your ride it begins in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God now the word word in the Greek language is logos and the reason I don't know what translation you have of the Bible but the reason it's all caps there is that it's sacred logos is Jesus and so if you read that that way John 1:1 states in the beginning was Jesus and Jesus was with God and Jesus was God it kind of makes it easier to understand the Trinity if you understand that Jesus is God that's why Jesus would you know the the disciples themselves asked Christ let us see God and he told them that you know if you've seen the father you've seen the son you've seen the father and that's the way it is and what do they say to call him in the Old Testament Isaiah chapter 7 verse 14 a virgin will conceive and you'll call have a son and you'll call his name Emmanuel what does the Emmanuel mean if you translate it it means God with us so Jesus in the flesh the Son of Man as it's referred to many times was God in the flesh he came down to show us how to cut it in the flesh pastor Murray Jack from Ohio thank you for your teaching I understand the Bible better much better now well it's I'm glad you enjoy studying the word question do you believe the Shroud of Turin is the burial cloth of Jesus I sent this question before but I never got an answer thank you and God bless you and god bless you as well you know I don't know many people believe that the Shroud of Turin that it is true and they believe that it is the impression of Christ as he was laid to rest in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea and then when he transfigured the shroud the the cloth was left there and they believed that and what witness to the crucifixion if it is factual you know the Shroud I can tell you is not biblical it's not written of in God's Word and and I can't help but believe that had Paul known about it the Shroud of Turin in other words that known then known that it was factual I believe Paul would have written about it somewhere in God's Word but he didn't does that take away from it completely I don't think so it's interesting Dale in Georgia I just finished reading Jacobs pillar by ear aiming cap where is it mentioned in the Bible about the twins Farrah's and zerah thank you for all you and your staff do and thanks for remembering our staff you read about fairies and zerah who were twin sons of Judah in Genesis chapter 38 verses 2930 and the following verses now what's interesting about the twins is that that they are by Tamar who was the daughter-in-law of Judah and she acted like a harlot and it was sheep shearing time and she took after after having relations with Judah she took the Cygnet his ring in other words and later on he tried to weasel out of the fact that she was with his children and she presented the ring and he goes oh my I've been caught things got a little wild around sheep shearing time in among the Israelites but that's what happened with feras and zerah Carol and don't know where Carol's from in first Kings Elisha was replaced by Elijah did Elisha fulfill what the Lord wanted from him to me it showed that the Lord has his own thing going 7,000 that had not bowed to idols was the Lord pleased with Elisha for being exhausted in thinking he was only one left and being a mortal did he have more to learn question I'm certain God was very happy with Elisha how do I know that well he took him transfigured him and that only happened to one other person that's written up I think it happened to two others but it's written of Enoch that Enoch was also transfigured I believe Moses was transfigured as well I think they all enjoyed the privilege of being transfigured see Matthew chapter 17 if you don't know what I'm talking about transfigured but I'm sure God was very pleased with Elisha the spirit of Elijah lives on ministries that teach God's truth such as this ministry Janet from North Carolina if Satan was canes father was he a giant well Sargon the myth the Magnificent was a descendant of Cain and we offer a book in our library entitled Sargon the Magnificent you might give that a read Pam in Mississippi please explain about dogs going to heaven family pets and other animals I look forward to your program every day well we're glad you enjoy studying God's Word Isaiah chapter 11 you have to understand that it's spiritual not physical that's the reason that the wolf can lie down with the lamb in other words the the wolf would normally eat the lamb but in spiritual bodies that's not the case you don't have any carnivores carnivores but in revelation 4:11 we learned that God created all things for his pleasure that includes animals so animals we know by that are pleasing to God and I'm glad that they're gonna be in heaven because I sure love animals as well Evelyn and Arkansas are there women preachers in the Bible you bet and there were some good ones Priscilla in the New Testament you can read about her in Acts chapter 18 verses 18 and 26 Paul even had a pet name for Priscilla he called her Prisca Romans chapter 16 verse 3 Paul refers to Priscilla as his helper in Christ Philippians chapter 4 verses 2 & 3 EO Deus and sin tikki both feminine and names in the Greek women who labored with Paul in the gospel Old Testament Deborah was a judge she was a prophetess Miriam the sister of Moses and Aaron were was a prophet test also you have Huldah the prophetess and then we'll be covering some on her as we work our way through King's Robert from Washington thank you for your kind comments you teach that the lake of fire blots people out please explain this seems different from mark chapter 9 verse 43 and 48 and you're he's looking at the word hell there in in in mark I know and that translated into the Greek his Gehenna Gehenna was a trash and garbage pile outside of Jerusalem and for example if an animal died they take it and throw it on this pile of trash and garbage and the pile continually burned and continually smoldered day in and day out I guess that's was their method of disposing of garbage I can't imagine what that must have smelled like but that's what it's talking about the fire never goes out is never quenched as it states there in the King James Version Bible the lake of fire on the other hand is but for a short period of time you can read about it in Revelation chapter 19 for to in testis and the rest of them in Revelation chapter 20 including Satan himself goes into the lake of fire but it's not a ongoing thing forever and ever there is one thing that happens they go up in smoke and that is forever and ever once smoke forever smoke John in Florida my question is how will we all be changed in the blink of and I when Jesus returns well I'm not sure I understand your question will be changed into spiritual bodies from the flesh the flesh is no more at that point in time the second World AIDS when man was to live in flesh will be over and will be into a new period of time it's called the Millennium Zechariah chapter 14 start reading along about verse 12 and you can learn a graphic description of the flesh
