as you're well aware we're living in unprecedented times join us now for today's special program i want to spend my life [Music] removing pain lord let my words [Music] my life meeting broken people hello and welcome to another three abn today program we're so glad that you have joined us today do you know why we're glad you joined us well because you're part of our family and we're just here in our living room and we're hopefully joining you in your living room or wherever you're watching or listening from we're so glad that we're all the part of the family of god and to spend this one hour with you each day is so much fun and we enjoy it um so very much you know i love the open that we you just heard i want to spend my life mending broken people and i hope that's your prayer as well that you want to spend your life mending broken people you know what maybe you are somebody that has been mended by the ministry of 3abn but i want you to know that this ministry is not our ministry or your ministry it's ultimately god's ministry and we stand on the word of god you know the great commission in the bible found in matthew chapter 28 verses 19 and 20 talks about go ye into all the world and if you've watched 3abn a long time you've heard mr danny always talk about so how many yees are there i want to see your hands raised so okay i'm raising my hand i hope you're raising yours at well at home as well because you know what god wants you to go into all the world you may say wow i'm not able to get out my legs don't work too well i don't have the funds to go out but you know what you can help in many different ways one of the most important ways is by prayer i don't know how many prayers go up for this ministry of three abn but we thank you for lifting this ministry up many of you are able to support financially thank you so very much but today we're going to be talking about jesus for asia and it's about going ye going into all the world and i'm here with john and natalie wood and you are yes yes you're the president of jesus for asia you're the co-founder you guys are founders of jesus for asia and if you've watched 3a bien for a number of years jesus for asia airs on 3 abn multiple times a week and i don't know how many years have you been airing on 3ab in your program since 2016. 2016. i know we get a good response to the program and thank you for the work that you are doing god has called you you know for this purpose and for this reason and we're going to be giving you an update about jesus for asia or maybe you've just found out about three abn you're like i don't even know what jesus for age is about well we're going to tell you about that but we have some amazing actually i don't they have some amazing uh miracles of what god is doing um in the ministry of jesus for asia so john and ellie before we go to some music i want to talk to you all because 3 abn this was kind of home to you guys for a little while too wasn't it yes when was that oh we moved here well i i was converted in 1996 on a trip through cambodia and thailand okay and then uh felt god's call on our lives and i surrendered my i'd always wanted to be in control of my career and after i was converted i just gave the whole thing to god wow and he got me the best job it ever had got her the best job she'd ever had and within six months we bought a brand new two-story house wow out in oregon so you're like man i'm living the life now yeah providing yeah and then ten months later i got a call from doug garcia yes who was working here at the time and he says would you be interested in coming to work for 3abn and i'm like i would love to but we just bought a new house you know if i sell it now we're going to lose our entire investment yep and i told my youth group that and they says well if god if the holy spirit's talking to you you better listen that's right oh okay listen to the young people yeah there you go amen so i just uh i just like went to the lord in prayers like lord do you really want us to go and he said um who gave you that house like uh you did yes like can i have it back wow i'm like it's a nice house but i realized that if i keep the house i keep the house but if i keep him he can give me other houses he sure can so we sold the house and sure enough we lost our investment and we moved out here yeah spent uh wonderful years here this feels like coming home today yeah you came and you said 98 i think you said you left in with your about 2 000 yeah 2000 october and you came as a an animation type person right which would be like the moving graphics and things that you see yeah yeah and uh one of the things that i want to do right here may surprise you a little bit we went back in our archives and we went back to three a b and on the road three been on the road now if you've watched in a long time this is something that john wood built back in what 1999 maybe or so but it actually fits today's topic so i want to actually go there john you surprised you get to see your work from like many many many many many years ago so let's play that open from about 20 years ago wow [Music] and hello i'm not pastor john loma kang you just saw his name john loma kang or wherever we're going back in time that open was created back in the late 90s by john wood he's here on the set with us today but i thought what was so fitting for today's program i don't know if you saw those words flying through there go ye into all the world and today's program is about going into all the world but i don't know if you saw john wood you were part of that actually open the one you created when that lid is closing you see your face yeah and that was bobby davis doing and reverse the sound to get that lid ceiling sound wow yeah that's amazing and she was actually i was a truck i was on the road with the truck at a meeting a camp meeting somewhere or something and so it was like really cool when we played it and i saw him yeah exactly that's my husband but you know i think about again you know all the work you know that uh we do it's never in vain when we do it for the lord and so i think about those opens yes that's now back in the day we don't use that open anymore but whenever we show those programs of course that open would be used but i'm thinking about the work that you do what god's given you to do it's not in vain it could be just picking up the phone and calling somebody or or maybe writing the note to someone handing them a track god has us here for a purpose so thank you for coming here and being a part of the ministry i know for like several years it's kind of a stepping stone and then god moved you into jesus for asia so i want to just mention this too because i'm just my brain is going on so many different things and if you know me well my brain kind of maybe like a little squirrel but tell us about your kids because a lot of people see your children on the program so tell us their ages how they're doing and what they're up to right now well our son james is 21 and he got married in december oh wow yeah he was born here yes he was when we worked here yeah yeah and then our daughter marianne just turned 19 and just a couple weeks ago actually and she is going to be a nurse she's studying to be a nurse up in kalispell montana so i've done a good job on the programs too you know we've seen him kind of grow up on yeah for asia programming yeah and three avians airing the mission trek program also yeah that's the one we see a lot yeah they did a lot for that so did a good job too yeah absolutely sure very crazy so then tell us about jesus for asia that transition and how jesus for asia started yeah well we were working here loving it okay and the lord called us to be a teacher at pacific union college to mentor others to multiply um what what our passion was for and we were there for five years okay and we felt like we wanted to be more directly involved with outreach because in 2001 danny and garland mcneilles and bob paulson went to india they did and i was able to go with them and i saw 40 000 people sitting on the ground listening to an evangelistic series and that blew my mind it's like i didn't know there was people out there that wanted to hear the gospel you know here in america it's like everybody kind of knows about it already kind of made their decision i mean there's still a lot of work to be done here there's no doubt about that and there's a deepening of our understanding of the character of christ and everything that needs to be done but over there there's people that have no clue that there is a god and what his name is or anything and are open and interested wow so this is brand new information for them then yeah wow you said 40 000 people sitting on the ground yes in angle india yeah and so they i came back with the birdness like if if it was up to me what what would i do i spent like two or three almost yeah four years really praying about lord what do you want me to do and working here seeing my paycheck being funded by danny's faith you know it's like well if god can do that for him matthew 6 33 will he do that could would he be willing to do that for me wow and that's quite a question actually oh it's huge yeah it's huge it's an important question it's a very important question yeah and i started thinking you know if god if i trust god for with my eternal salvation can't i trust him for my daily bread and so in 2005 she and i we were together on this yes there's a process that you won't take time to tell okay we've told the story before yes but so we just launched out by faith we moved up to idaho and we surrendered our week or monthly paycheck and we camped out on matthew 6 33. wow and we started out with bible workers okay which tell us what matthew 6 33 is so what is that verse speaking first the kingdom of god and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you yeah powerful verse yes yeah it blows your mind and it works yeah so you camped out on that verse so to stamp there okay yeah and here we are 16 years later yes and the lord has blessed we we worry less about our our what we're going to eat than we did back when i had a regular job wow and the lord's not only blessed us as a family but he's also expanded the ministry way beyond what we had originally i mean honestly i figured that five years maybe four years after we started our ministry jesus would come because the whole world would be reached but it's a lot more complex than that sure yeah there's a lot of places where there's not a lot going on or there's nothing going on still yes so even though there's all these ministries you know his dad went to asi he's like i see all these ministries and there's still work to be done yes it's like yes that's why all these ministries are saying there's still work to be done amen god needs all of us right yeah right for sure and that's why we focused on asia a lot of people say well asia you know maybe later you'll expand onto something else well 80s ages 57 of the world's population 57 yeah that's a high percentage more people live in asia than the rest of the world combined yeah 90 of all unreached people groups are in asia and so we figure that's probably enough for one ministry yeah wow so 90 say that again because those are really powerful numbers 90 of all unreached people groups live in asia so what's an unreached people group an unreached people group is less than two percent christian so the likelihood if you live in a people group with less than two percent christian the likelihood of learning the name of jesus in your entire lifetime is well it's just unlikely yeah you don't know very unlikely you don't have christian bookstores on the corner you know you've probably never heard of a bible uh the most you the most exposure to christianity you have is you know hollywood you know people taking god's name in vain yeah and that's about it and so there's vast swathes of god's vineyard that are completely uninjured wow and it's overwhelming but with christ's promise we know that it can be done amen we just put everything we have into it then god will pour out the blessing to make up what we have given and more amen so you have like a two-fold vision is that right so maybe share with you each one of those uh aspects of your vision then we'll go into more in-depth what's happening okay well the first aspect is to reach the unreached yes that's pretty obvious but the second aspect is to re-engage north america with that process of reaching the unreached okay because in many churches funding over the last 70 years has dropped dramatically drastically funding for world mission funding so funding for world missions and missionaries actually going has dropped almost to the point where we could say we've almost abandoned foreign missions wow and that's sad yeah yeah well it shouldn't be it should not be yeah so that second fold then or aspect of the visions what you're saying is to engage you said north america to actually be excited about sponsoring missions in other parts of the world absolutely because being a part of it okay in whatever way god asked them because you know that's that's kind of the only way that we can truly be selfless you know when we give to our local church budget which is good and needs to be done but that's like extending our lifestyle you know we don't want to go to church where there's no air conditioning oh yeah or heat in the winter but when we give money to foreign missions it's like it's gone you know and by faith we expect to see it again the return on investment in heaven amen yeah praise the lord so you we've all heard about covet right and so kova seems affect the entire world so i'm going to ask you this question natalie so how has coven 19 affected jesus for ages tell me how because i mean it seems like it shut everything down we really couldn't travel much and so how did it affect jesus frasier well amazingly enough god used it to expand jesus for asia okay now he has kept us more busy really with yeah with what he's been doing since cobit started than we were before okay and one of the major ways that we've seen this happen is with our evening schools in india and um it's they're in areas where the people are very poor in the first place and so when everybody lost their jobs then they're even more poor and so they were looking at their children and they were seeing like my my child is going to starve my family is going to starve because i have no way to feed them but then they would find out about our evening schools and they would send their kids there and their kids would get a free meal oh wow and if the family came to they would feed the whole family not just because they were not turning anyone away so mom and dad would also get fed right they would not turn anyone away and so then they started realizing i mean a lot of these people in these poor villages are hindu okay and they would realize our temple's not doing this these christians are doing this and then they would wonder why so we have a lot of stories but there's one from this time we've got a picture if they want to show the picture and i love stories too and as they get those pictures ready there's the picture yeah there's a picture of some kids at one of our evening schools yeah and originally you know obviously we were there to feed and educate the kids right but what's happened is these kids have gotten a hold of the gospel right and they go to the next picture you'll see now they're starting to pray are they praying together they're they're praying over someone oh someone is under his hand there's we go to the next picture you can see the person under the hand oh yeah this lady had kidney failure and so she came to the evening school there and the children started praying for her and she was healed and these children are hindu backgrounds a lot of them are most of them are not baptized yep yep and a lot of them they don't even come to church on a regular basis wow but that's what our evening schools do we do we tutor them in their local language classwork and during covid a lot of the government schools were closed so we would actually they were actually giving them class work and helping them to continue their class work so that they wouldn't be behind when whenever the schools could open again and then we do a free meal like we've talked about but then we also have a worship time and so they hear stories about jesus they hear character building stories they learn to be respectful to their parents and different things like that and um they just love it yeah the parents and we have stories of families that are now coming to church because they didn't want to send their child to this christian school they were like no because they'll be like after them to become christian but then they were asking their child after their child had gone there a few days they were like what are you learning there well i'm learning to be respectful to my parents to be kind to others you know these kinds of things and the father's like wow this is interesting and then the family started coming to church and then started having bible studies and so it's it's like it's such a huge opening opening which we hold go ahead hold these evening schools in the church so the church becomes uh familiar to them right not like this weird space that belongs to the christians right and they see that the church is there to bless people right you know so evening schools then so tell me a little bit more about the evening school so how many of these do you have and when you say we're teaching them are you two over there doing the two so tell me how many you have and how that works so right now we have 19. wow and we're just getting ready to open another 10. oh 10 to 15. that's almost doubling what you currently have yeah yeah we doubled it last year actually during did you really during coven yeah right yep yeah and frasier he and a team of people went over um last january just before and um right after they left is when everything locked down the first time and um and then they opened the second ten evening school it consists of a principal okay it was usually a local pastor or bible worker or a pastor and then it can sit and then teachers and they can be uh local teachers yeah and then a cook we have hindu teachers oh wow and this is a good witness too yes it is oh yeah the hindus come can you pray my daughter's not getting pregnant or something like that then we have a cook and we currently actually since we began which is like 15 years ago it's always stayed seven dollars per month per child yep god has really painted for all this time yeah even with the cost of seven dollars per month to do what to feed the child feed them and provide two hours of education every night and of course the gospel and stuff like that so wow it's a quarter a day i mean that's where you're talking about getting north america involved because seven dollars yes it's something but it's not that much you think about how quickly we can spend seven dollars on something yeah and yet this will then feed a child right and give them two hours a week uh per night per night six nights a week yeah for a whole month they don't do it sabbath night because the the cooking they don't want to cook on sabbath yeah so they do cook and then sundown friday they have the the friday evening one but then so i'm gonna put you on the spot here on this and it may be hard to even calculate all this so the evening schools you have 19 right now correct do you have any idea of how many children you've impacted uh maybe in like last year or oh do you have any idea so we average about 35 kids per school per night times 19 times 6 times 52. okay got it yeah i mean somebody need a phone calculator but i'm sure someone got it that's a lot of children right right we figured that since the beginning we've fed about thousand given six hundred thousand meals from the beginning of and as a boy i love to throw stones and i would throw stones in our pond and when you throw a stone in the pond the ripple would start out small and get bigger and bigger and bigger so i don't want to compare children with stones but i'm thinking of a child is now going back to their family yes and that ripple gets a little bit bigger because mom and dad you're saying are coming to some of these programs too and then maybe grandma and grandpa and uncle and auntie and it gets bigger and bigger you have no idea the amount of people you've affected right yeah well the beautiful thing is that when we first started those kids are now the leaders in the community oh they're grown up they have their own families and they were they had a like a wedding and they all got together and they were comparing among themselves their friends that went to the evening schools versus those that didn't what a difference in life the ones that went to the evening schools were leaders in the community you know they were government workers they had stable jobs and the ones that didn't were a lot more likely to be the village alcoholic you know or a separated marriage or you know things like that they just they they saw the difference yeah so how do you fund this and i know we're gonna go to an address break here you know toward the end of this program but how do you fund i mean uh all these i'm thinking programs right you're talking seven dollars and paying these teachers and the food how does this happen so we're the pipe that people with a heart for these kids so you mean jesus for asia is the pipe yes right yes and so they send funds to jesus it's all by donations yeah okay we don't sell things to try to raise money we just pray right and if there's a need we pray harder and god provides the reason for that is we found that giving is a blessing how is it a blessing well they love to know that their little you know seven dollars or seven thousand is going to make a difference in somebody's life right you know that's better than buying something at a store you're right yeah we had one donor that's like i can't go to walmart anymore because everything i see the prices and it's like that could buy you know that could fund yeah a meal or several meals yeah education yeah right wow so you know if somebody donates ten dollars for any of our projects a hundred percent of that goes okay right so we don't so it's like we're we're in it we want to do this it's like we're not trying to make a living off of this yeah you're correct yeah and so we're like partnering we're together on this so we get the blessing of seeing the kids the donors get the blessing of knowing and sometimes we're able to hear the stories and stuff like that it's a blessing all the way around and you know the other the other reason we do it this way is because it's a character development opportunity to become less selfish you know there's not that many places here in america where we can really put our money and know that it's making a difference wow and so this is an opportunity to be selfless and to be more like christ to reach those that are you know the least of these my brothers well i know the three of them stands a thousand percent behind jesus for asia that's for sure you know because the great ministry you know we know we know this couple of course you've watched three men they've been on giving multiple updates and i want to transition should we go to thailand then right now this be a good transition what's happening in thailand so tell us what's happening there give us an update what's happening okay all right well thailand is a beautiful country and it's actually less reached okay than india wow percentage-wise okay yeah so there's vast parts of india that have no adventist or taiwan even did i say oh yeah that's vast parts of thailand that have like there's entire provinces not a single adventist yeah so a province would be you're talking like it's like a state oh so you're talking thousands of people oh oh yeah millions there's about 70 million people in thailand okay so but you're saying a province you're saying some provinces don't even have did you say a christian or a seventh avenue seventh avenue there are no seventh avenues right yeah and very few christians yeah and so we were traveling um up in 2012 through the northern part of the northern part of the central plain of thailand okay and came across a city called sukhothai it's beautiful city it's an ancient capital yeah okay and absolutely zero adventist at all and i'm like why why is there no happiness there should be adventists here right i mean don't you think there should be adventists everywhere yeah that's right i mean and so i'm like lord we need to put adventists here and he's like how much do you care about the unreached you know how what kind of investment are you willing to make for the lost and i'm thinking well christ made a pretty decent investment but i'm like lord i'm really busy what do i do so we i've been praying over the last 10 years and finally we we started to say well you know what a place that has this much uh or this few christians really is a place where um the devil has had free reign and so this is a spiritual battle you know paul says if any are lost they are lost because they are blinded by the god of this world which is satan correct so he comes in and he blinds their minds so even if the gospel came in they wouldn't recognize it wow it's like nicodemus sitting in front of jesus not recognizing this is the son of god and so it's like our primary goal then is to bind satan from binding their eyes and so we started doing a prayer walk we did a prayer walk a couple prayer rocks through this unreached city yeah i think we did three or four of them yeah were you there i was there for one at least one of them yeah yeah we did one actually with mission trek oh yeah that's one of the episodes we did a prayer walk in sukhothai so the main religion there well it's buddhism but it's underlying it's a thin veneer over animism which is spirit worship so when you're doing this prayer walk are you actually praying out loud or you're just walking and praying in your mind i mean how does this prayer walk work in a city like this yeah when we were there as a group we would pray out loud wow because we want to be able to agree with each other you know because where two or three are gathered oh yes you know they're christians so god was there and god's word is powerful right so we spoke it and also we claimed joshua 1 6 i believe it says wherever you put the soul of your foot oh yes amen i've already given to you so we're walking around god thank you so doing these prayer walks right and what happened well um just a couple a couple years ago three years ago a family in virginia we did a little presentation um and they're like you know we want to go like god's calling us where should we go i'm like zuko thai that's the city and so they sold their house sold everything moved over there and i said your primary purpose is to host the holy spirit is to connect with god so that you are a beach head you know like normandy okay you are the beach head for the angels and god to come in and start moving in this place wow that's an incredible thought so you actually said be a place at the holy spirit or to host is that what you said right the whole the holy spirit you know we don't think about that often enough no because you know we're told in the scriptures that this is a spiritual battle that's correct that what we see is not the reality of what's going on in this world and so we often think about it from what we see you know we look around what are the needs in this area what can we do to help people but we don't think about the behind the scenes that god has to break down the barriers of spiritual barriers in people's lives before we can you know really have freedom to tell them and so wow so they moved there okay yeah we have a picture of them okay yeah with them being sensitive to the holy spirit they have planted a church oh wow they have purchased property we're still paying that for that property outside of the city because they have collected shall we say how many kids now 11. yeah i think 11 11. this is it yeah yeah this is their family they've hired workers to help them with cooking and teaching and training and their was it a family of four three how many was a family of eight eight okay three of them three of the older kids stayed family with eight children okay sure so the three older ones stayed in america sure so they went over with five okay and look at all that they've gained there wow that is awesome yes beautiful thai children amen and they have their workers in there too god sent them a fairly new adventist to be a teacher for these kids and so it's just been a beautiful thing to see what god's doing he's making their their ministry expand like breathtakingly rapidly and their new missionaries you know he grew up kind of as a missionary his father and his grandfather were both mission pilots okay but his his wife i mean casey was not and so for her it's like quite a shock yeah but as long as they keep holding we keep telling them just hold on you know just follow as god leads at the pace that he leads and he will enable you know amen don't get discouraged because it's going so fast and it feels like there's not enough of you here god will provide americans your best friend is a good buddhist monk yep oh wow yeah that's incredible this is how the lord leads yeah that's really neat yeah that's fantastic so you said then that they've planted a church right right that's that right and they've got a little piece of property just outside the city yep right right okay they're doing the children's home okay and then how many people are attending church do you even have an idea of the number they they started that by faith because they're and they prove it oh it's true but they're family and they've already got a big church yeah that's true that's a good point but with all their workers their workers were adventists but not necessarily deep in the truth right most of them yeah one of them their cook is not an appendist wow and so it's it's been interesting to see what their relationships are doing for granted you know we say there's adventists but we think we know that they believe in resurrection you know and stuff like that the state of the dead yes dude a lot of people in thailand and some of these other countries that haven't grown up in a christian background they don't know like even things like what is salvation what is state of the dead you know some of the basic things they don't know so even though they may be adventists building up them is building up the church yeah praise the lord it's going gonna be powerful so so what we're witnessing here is actually real life miracles you know it seems like so often we read things in the bible and we say well that was really neat and you know but to see miracles that are taking place now i'm thinking about the prayer walk that took place what three four years ago in this city i'm not going to pronounce the right suit yes and now god has a church there he has a family there yes you didn't know that at the time but god had everything you know it right we just got to follow along because he has he has a plan i love this prayer walk thing i mean this is powerful we can do that here even in north america right right absolutely right and we actually did did you from here because we were going to go and do another city not called yes which is north of sukhothai oh yeah south of sukhothai sorry sukhothai is only 35 000 people nakan sawanza 200 000 people wow so we have a a couple that's our um foreign correspondents over there jonathan hill he was interviewed here in tribune once and um anyway he and his wife live over there in thailand and they'd go around and film our projects for us and because we couldn't go because of kovid john said well you go and then we arranged a zoom call i was planning to go anyway and spend the two thousand dollars to get through quarantine just because nakan swan was so heavy on my heart so i told i told john i i connected with jonathan he says oh well the lord's given a burden on our heart to go do a prayer walk in nakan so on like wait i was going to do that wow but they did it so they did it and on zoom we had 50 yeah 50 some people doing a prayer walk on zoom yes so how do you do that just tell me real quick so everyone were walking in different wherever they lived he was filming on the iphone okay and she was on the iphone also so they could get video of the people that were around them sure and they went to a track okay and they walked the track in this park yeah and so you'd see people as they were going by and people were praying for the people they were walking by and then they watched erica right we'll be praying for everybody that they saw and praying and it's real people then you're seeing the faces of people that can be reached because of our prayers and they walk down there's a place in the in that area where there's a giant dragon okay and so they walked down there you know and we prayed for the dragon to be you know cast out of this area and different things and so it was just a powerful opportunity to pray there and what happened was jonathan hannah jonathan and hannah they felt a burden to move there yep oh so they've moved to that city they've moved to that so those are your four foreign correspondents right right but they've moved to this city that's uh one yeah thank you good job okay and what's happened well they've made friends three months ago okay so this is recent yeah just recently and they were um oh it's just just the way the lord leads it's like first god has to build us up so he was jonathan was kind of getting kind of discouraged and stuff and then he realized as you know because he's a big runner and as he's running he's done a marathon he did the seven bridges and he prays for people and then he started realizing and he found a promise in the bible that says that as our prayers go you know ministering anyway he realized that he's sending angels to do work sending angels to work well it gives you goosebumps you know yeah wow and so then he's as he's running he's like i'm praying an angel to go to that person i'm praying an angel to go to that person so it's really you never know what's going to happen no right but god knows he does yeah so they've they've met a few people and started you know being friends with one couple invited them recently to go cycling with them and so it's just you know at this point it's relationship building you know that's the main thing okay because if they don't know you they're not going to see anything they're not going to see jesus in you that's a good point they don't know you do you have any pictures for this one because you have so many pictures we have more to come to is there a picture for this one of john no there isn't well yeah actually there is oh there we go there we go so that's jonathan and his wife hannah yes yeah and that's nikon and how many people in that city around two hundred thousand wow that's amazing in which there was no adventist no plan no church no missionary nothing yeah and now they they're increasing the church just the two of them are increasing in the church an infinite amount you know if you go from one to two that's a hundred percent that's correct if you go to zero to one that's infinite it's an infinite number so they've i mean there was nothing there before now there's something yeah praise the lord so tell me about another city then that we can pray for because we've had prayer walks in these cities so i'm sure you want to be involved and i know they've got something up their sleeve so to speak so what city can we all pray for then what's the next city you're praying for cantarella okay let's spell that say that again okay that's the next city and that's where what that's in northeast thailand thailand okay and in that city there's no adventist in the entire province there's no adventists whatsoever and so we're praying for kantaralak to for god to do something there because right now nothing's being done so that's where all of us can join in then because this is the new city that you're praying for absolutely and we know that god's going to do something we have just heard the miracles what god has already done for these cities that has already been prayed over and prayer walked man that's just powerful yeah what about india because i mean times get away from us so tell us about india what new things are happening in india well um in north india okay the very very very farthest north you can go to is cashmere and you may have heard of cashmere sweaters yes this is a state that is um never had adventist presence except for one time in in the early 1970s we've had one guy went up there and tried to do something but it didn't take off so they've been praying they finally found seven people that are converted that then moved up there so one guy got converted when he came down he got converted he went up there and he converted six other people oh wow and so they asked us if we would sponsor and i'm like well yeah of course so we've got seven bible workers amen in the northernmost wow city of india praise god and then in 2009 we had driven through the state of punjab which is just on the south it's just south of kashmir okay and um in 2009 i asked do you you know how's the work going says well up here in the north we have several churches but in the south there's absolutely no work at all the entire southern half of the state wow and i'm like that shouldn't be like that and so when i came back in 2019 10 years later i asked the same question he says it's the same thing nothing's changed in 10 years in 10 years nothing has changed and so we're like lord help us what what can we do and so long story short we've got 20 bible workers in that area praise the lord in just the last few years then yeah wow two years ago two years so we've got a video we want to go to set that video up for us what we're getting ready to see all right this is this is cashmere okay okay this is just like a teaser this is just a vision casting you know maybe i can't put my foot there but i can put my imagination there okay and i can see what it looks like and see the people's faces okay sounds good all right let's go to that video right now [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] wow powerful and you said that's just a taste right just a snippet you know in that last shot i guess the drone shot there just showing i saw all those little roofs right you think about that multiplied by the millions around the world but we're talking about asia i want to just ask you this question then i want to hear some miracle stories okay but do you ever get overwhelmed i'm thinking about jonathan and hannah you're talking about the young couple right and i'm looking at those roofs and buildings and all the people that represent their two people yeah massive right you guys are looking at would you i forget the numbers you get 50 percent of the population is in asia you ever get overwhelmed yes personal question yeah how do you deal with that though so we look at it try and pray yeah we do a lot of praying but yeah i deal with that a lot yeah honestly so sure my change of focus the way i think about it is i can't save all of them but i can save a few yeah and those few are worth saving and then what god does is takes those few god multiplies himself and those few reach few and it just continues to grow yeah so tell us some miracle stories because god is doing marvelous things you've already shared miracle stories already but i know you've got more so what story do you want to start with first so um do we have the studio the studio okay okay so the miracle of the lamyai tree and we have a picture of this tree okay okay and it's hard to see but over on the right if you look up really closely up on the upper right hand corner you'll see a bunch of little tiny fruits okay you might have to come up closer to your tv okay but on the left there's no fruits at all and the property that that stick there is the demarcation of on the left side that was property that was given to us we have a foundation in thailand called love for asia and it provides um work permits and visas for missionaries in thailand also also also has a tv ministry there yeah great and um so someone had donated that property to build a studio because our rental was being sold and so um we haven't had a studio okay and so it was for our office and studio okay kind of a base then yeah yeah and so um they said but can you wait until this was like in february and they said can you wait until june or march so we can get the last harvest of fruit oh from the tree from the trees okay yeah because it was part way through their growing season and the people that rented the properties to grow these lamyai fruit were we're like can we just please wait one more harvest can we get one more harvest before they tear the trees down you know it's donated land so no problem yeah you know it's like for us it's like yeah building a studio it's like that's it's gonna be expensive and we're like we gotta create some fun we do it should we wait pray for donations questions that go through in our minds even though we pray the lord sometimes likes us to go through the process of just instead of just telling us what he'd like us to do sure and so but this is a time where he just told us because when the harvest of fruit came in on their side the land that was not donated it was a bumper crop and on our property that they had donated to us there was zero fruit in fact in that one tree one of their branches hung over hung over onto our see that in the picture look at that picture one more time and there's no picture one more time so on the left hand side there okay you can see that one tree kind of hangs over there's no fruit whatsoever from the line over but on the one side that was not donated loaded with the same tree on the right side of that tree it's loaded oh the same tree yeah the same tree oh wow okay got it yeah yeah so god was like okay enough enough the fruit's like this big so it's it's hard to see but if you look yeah they're around a little bit bigger than grapes wow so wow that's amazing isn't it that's incredible god was like okay time to build the studio yeah exactly don't wait any longer let's do it right and after that the lord has provided and we have almost enough to finish it and it's almost finished praise god the studio yeah amen so the next picture is a drone shot of the studio building okay and this was uh a studio in the front and the guest house in the back they're still working on it they're doing the inside and totally funded by donations yes wow praise the lord and so we want to do shows because one of the biggest challenges in these countries is value human value human life and so we want to bring in shows that shows how christ gives us value how he values individuals and there's just just so much to be done in the local language yes and what is the local language hi okay there's like 73 languages represented in thailand okay but thai is the main language okay yeah yeah so another story okay okay this one's from the philippines all right do you want to tell this one ah yeah but you can start it if you okay okay so we have this bible worker his name is pablito and he was a mongin he was actually converted by afm missionaries like 15 20 years ago okay he's now the afm missionaries have since moved on but the seeds that they've planted are continuing to grow right and this guy is one of them he's working for us and he got a message recently this just happened like two weeks ago three weeks ago this is very recent very recent he got a message that this father this husband of this family was um he had tuberculosis and he was dying oh no and so he coughed really hard and um i think this was oh yeah so he went there and he coughed really hard and while he was there he died and he asked the the wife do you believe in jesus the wife says no he said and so he was he was sitting there and he kept asking her praying you want me to pray for this for this man and he died and he kept saying lord do you want me to pray for this man and he sensed the lord was moving towards prayer but pray for him to be raised from the dead from the dead and he kept asking the wife if if he is raised from the dead do you believe in jesus christ will you believe in jesus christ do you believe in jesus he's very persistent you have to do ourselves otherwise god can't do anything right oh wow i mean i'm i will pray and i believe but you have to believe otherwise god can't do anything he says i have no power but god does but god does so the lady's husband is laying there dead is that right wow it got cold yep stiff they took his uncle was like okay it's time to prepare him for burial take his clothes off i don't know why they did that but anyway they took his clothes off to get him ready to bury him and um finally after two hours this he died at three and at five o'clock the wife says i believe i believe and if god raises if your god raises him from the dead then i'll come to come to your church and so pablito checked with the father and yes and so he prayed for him and the guy jumped up and he says i'm cold where's my clothes i'm hungry where's my food they put on his clothes and he's fine wow he was healed he was healed well he was raised from the dead raised from the up he wasn't breathing for two hours that's amazing and that just happened yeah just happened yeah so we have a picture of mar who's the man the man that was raised from the dead he's there in the middle okay the family in the middle okay yep that's his family and the next one is pablito yeah the bible oh wow look at that smile on his face you know that but the sincerity in his eyes too you can see it you know jesus in his eyes wow absolutely you think about what that does for one's faith yeah you think what that does for even my faith i've never met either one of the gentlemen but wow god's alive and well yeah he's in the miracle making business so to speak right yes yeah yes god's not dead praise god for that wow he's the resurrection and the life he is well i tell you this these programs i tell you i told john and natalie wood i said you know this program is going to go by quick i love these programs because there's so much about what god is doing missionary work you know god is just moving across the world you know and he wants all of us to participate be a part of it i know we've got just a couple minutes left tell us about the satellite ministry that's going on too because this is phenomenal too what god is doing with uh reaching people through satellite yes right well you know how are we going to reach i mean half the world lives in asia so you're right biggest countries in asia besides china and india is indonesia okay it's got 17 000 islands 17 000 islands yeah wow it's like and so in in 2011 we did a faith camp in jakarta indonesia and out of that was this couple that took hold of it and um we we peeled them you know we challenged somebody in the audience to start a satellite ministry you guys know what satellites we do three of you know very much about satellite ministry and what it requires yes and what what you have to do that's right and yeah well they didn't know any of that but the the lord impressed them very strongly that him especially that he that they were supposed to do this okay and ramona and sandy tincano were just here the other day for an interview so there'll be a today show with them as well oh yeah so the more of their story and testimony will be shared there but we're just amazed at what god has done there in in reaching people in remote places a lot of places yeah you're right there's no church on the island yeah so that satellite signal becomes the church yeah they get together and they watch together and that's their church service and yeah that's amazing that's incredible so we're getting ready to go to your address where there's so much more that they can share so um what what are ways that people can participate yes this is our last chance and what we do now is all that's going to be done for eternity so i just have this strong burden that we all get involved with what god wants to do put him back on the
