that's right our topic tonight is entitled here it is the vaccine okay the beast and the mark okay we're going to be talking about is the vaccine that you know this is a big controversial issue right we're dealing with a it's one of those things that many many people are kind of in the air about some people have made up their minds we're not here necessarily to put our opinions or our ideas off on you as to whether or not you should get the vaccine that's not what this is about tonight there's a lot of talk and chatter though about how this vaccine may or may not be connected to the mark of the beast and that's what we're going to be talking about tonight straight from the word of god is it the mark of the beast is it not we're going to clarify it tonight right here in the bible and i'm going to go ahead and introduce my guest i'm excited to have miss shelley quinn with me tonight a bible student a lovely woman of god and it's always a blessing to have you shelley joining us it's exciting to be joining you because i know you're a history buff and i know you know this topic inside now but this is an exciting topic and it's one oh please get out your pen and paper yes take down these scripture references because you want to be able to look back and make sure everything we've told is just like the bible says and you want to be able to share the message that's right that's right and as always before we get right into our study we want to just say thank you again for your love your prayers your support of the three angels broadcasting network because this message right now is going out to millions around the world because god placed it upon your heart to be faithful to support this ministry and we just thank you so much because we love what we do here we love to preach and teach the three angels messages the everlasting gospel of jesus and my friends tonight again probably the most solemn warning given in all the bible is in connection to this mark of the beast topic so again get your friends your family members your enemies everyone around uh get your as she said get your your pens your your pencils paper pads whatever it is that you want to take thursday night live and so we're coming to you live from southern illinois here in the united states of america and tonight we have a very special topic we're going to be talking about the connection or non-connection of the vaccine to the beast and the mark of the beast in revelation and in bible prophecy uh but before we get right into this topic we have lots to discuss michelle but we should obviously invite the lord to lead and lead us and guide us in this country so why don't you pray for us surely heavenly father we come in the name of jesus and we thank you father that you invite us to come before your throne of grace boldly how we praise you lord for the everlasting covenant of salvation by grace through faith we thank you for jesus we thank you for your holy spirit and we pray in jesus name that you will send your spirit even now lord and not only to anoint our lips but to anoint our ears and lord we thank you for your word we know that this word was given by your holy spirit so we ask in the name of jesus that you will give us clarity and direction and father we pray that this message will be received as your holy spirit has given it give us ears to hear what the holy spirit has to say we love you lord in jesus name amen amen you may be sitting at home wondering ryan what in the world the vaccine and the mark of the beast you know i i'll tell you what kind of inspired tonight's topic i if you if you have social media or are connected to the social media world of some kind then you have probably seen just within the last few days few weeks there's a lot of chatter uh on the internet and around the world um of people who are connecting and some people just outright saying they believe that this vaccine that's going around which is again it's a big issue right now uh coveted 19 again it's we're living in some very interesting times but again many of my friends as i'm looking at facebook and i'm not a very big social media person but as i'm scrolling through my facebook it's amazing to see all of these thousands of christians who are making this connection and some of them again outright saying oh the the vaccine is the mark of the beast you know don't take it or beware because it's the mark of the beast again this is not an attempt to tell you whether you should or should not take the vaccine that's not what our topic about tonight is but i do want to make something very very clear i'm just going to come right out and say it and then we're going to get right into our study i can assure you my friends that the vaccine is not the mark of the beast i don't think we can be any clearer than that it is not the mark of the beast and we're going to support this by uh just a very in-depth bible study over the next couple of hours together it's in depth but i have to tell you something i didn't realize till i was putting this all together two hours is hardly enough so even though it's in depth i feel like we're just we're hitting the major points but stay tuned so the idea tonight is to look at this from a biblical perspective this is one of the most important topics in all the bible what is the mark of the beast and how can we make sure that we don't receive the mark of the beast and tonight we're going to make very clear that this is not a vaccine issue there's a lot of people living in fear that you know this vaccine if they are to take it then it's the mark of the beast again i can assure you it is not the mark of the beast and we're going to clarify that tonight in bible study i want us to go let's go right now to revelation chapter 13. i believe this is the most appropriate place to start just because this is where we first find in scripture mention of this mark associated with the beast and of course when we're talking about the beast we're speaking of the first beast of revelation chapter 13 there are two beasts and we know that a beast in bible prophecy represents a kingdom or a powerful empire of some kind and we're going to get into that tonight from daniel chapter 7. so you go read daniel chapter 7 makes you very makes it very clear that a beast is an empire it's a it's a nation a powerful kingdom and so we're reading about these two beasts in revelation chapter 13 but when we're referring to the mark of the beast it's the mark of the first beast of revelation chapter 13. but i want us to go to the latter verses of revelation 13. we're going to start with verse 16 and 17 and this is where we find the first mention of this mark of the beast first beast of revelation 13. so here it is revelation 13 verse 16. it says and he now it's interesting because this he here is the second beast but the he is helping to establish to coerce to bring about the mark of this first beast so he the second beast causes all both small and great rich and poor free and slave to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead king james says in their right hand in their forehead and that no man may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name okay so this is a serious issue and we do know that we're going to have to deal with this issue in the very near future as i believe jesus is coming soon shall we oh he is and this you know this is the most important topic that we could be talking about now no one has the mark of the beast yet but i believe it's coming soon and i grew up not knowing revelation i try to read revelation and i beg god how do you translate all of these symbols i had every book on prophecy that there was to have and what i didn't realize at the time in the 404 verses of revelation 278 are alluding to the old testament of that 184 of those 278 verses are direct quotes so when you want to understand the symbols in revelation you go to daniel and i want to talk about this beast for jesus because revelation 13 makes it perfectly clear let's look at verses 1 and 2. this is john speaking he says i stood on the sand of the sea i saw a beast rising out of the sea and the sea is a symbol for a heavily populated area right having seven heads and ten horns and on his horns ten crowns and on his heads a blasphemous name now the beast which i saw listen was like a leopard his feet were like the feet of a bear and his mouth like the mouth of a lion the dragon and and we know revelation 12 9 tells us the dragon is the devil is satan the dragon gave him his power his throne and his great authority as you said in prophecy a beast represents a kingdom we see that in daniel 7 23 where it says the fourth beast is the fourth kingdom that's right and when you read revelation 13 1 and 2 i used to read that and think how on earth can you translate that daniel if daniel 13 parallels perf i mean revelation 13 parallels perfectly with daniel 7. in daniel 7 it is talking about four great beasts that are four great kingdoms yes the lion is babylon the bear is medel persia the leopard is greece and the dragon like fourth beast is rome which was roman powerful roman empire was the most powerful of all and it was the it had iron-like teeth and it fell in ad70 and when it fell rome was divided into ten countries seven of which still make up modern europe absolutely so what we're seeing here as she beautifully brought this out and daniel 13 cannot be understood unless you study daniel 7. and we see that very clearly as revelation excuse me revelation chapter 13 mean you both didn't expect that revelation 13 cannot be properly understood unless you have studied uh in depth uh daniel chapter seven and we know that as she just read those first couple of verses from revelation 13 where he sees this this beast of an amalgamation of this of this you know a body of a leopard the face of a lion feet of a bear where do we see these these beasts these animals from it's daniel chapter seven daniel's in vision and he and he's seeing these things very vividly as these four beasts are coming up out of the sea he sees a lion with wings he sees a bear with three ribs in his mouth raised up on one side he sees the three-headed leopard which of course all of these represent us she said babylon media persia and then greece but then we focus in on this fourth beast rome there's no way of getting around it my friends this fourth beast is no doubt rome history confirms that the only empire that ruled dominantly after the kingdom of greece was that of the pagan nation of rome and as you brought up very clearly in 476 a.d pagan rome took on a change it breaks up into these ten kingdoms which is why we see the ten horns on the head of this fourth beast of daniel chapter seven and uh and so from there there's appears this little horn power and i'm just going to put it out there my friends the little horn of daniel 7 most biblical scholars agree on this unanimously that the little horn of daniel 7 the first beast of revelation chapter 13. and also if you jump over to revelation 17 we see this harlot right she's called she's clothed in in purple and red and she has a golden cup in her hand full of the abominations and she's drunken with the blood of the saints and the description there again her of her on her forehead and of her description his names of blasphemy it's the same exact power all all across the board daniel 7 little horn revelation 13 first beast the harlot uh mystery babylon the great the mother of harlots as described there in revelation 17. this is the same system depicted in different ways god is showing us different characteristics of this antichrist power it is indeed an antichrist power and so we're going to get into the identification of this power in just a moment but i want to just jump right into this shilling i want you to help me out here because i just plainly stated a few minutes ago that the vaccine is not the mark of the beast right and we want to be clear on that because we have a bunch of people believing that the vaccine is the mark of the beast and again this is not an effort to to to again i just want to make it very clear we're not here to when we say it's not the mark of the beast we're not saying that because we're telling people to go out and get the vaccine that's not what we're trying to do here we're staying away from that but what we are trying to do here is clarify the fact that this this vaccine is not the mark of the beast because if we have a bunch of people believing that it is the mark of the beast and they don't know really what the mark of the beast is they may be deceived when that time comes and miss the the situation entirely and end up on the wrong side of the camp and we want to make sure scripture makes it amazingly clear when you understand that the old testament absolutely does explain the symbols absolutely and so what is this mark of the beast issue all about what is the central issue ryan if it's not the vaccine if it's not this you know inoculation mass inoculate whatever it is that people think that it is what is it i want us to go to revelation 13 again we were just in revelation 13 and uh shelley read first verses one and two but i want to take us down a little bit further and read verses four and verse eight there's something there there's key words here that give us an idea of what this mark of the beast issue will become about and then we're going to jump over to the third angel's message of revelation 14. so right now we're in revelation 13 let's read verses 4 and verse 8. so the bible says it says so they the speaking of the world worshipped the dragon who gave authority to the beast and they worshipped the beast saying who is like the beast who is able to make war with him now verse 8 all who dwell on the earth will worship him whose name have not been written in the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world what word do we see coming up over and over worshiped worshipped they notice uh all who dwell on the earth will worship him we're starting to see as you read when you get to revelation 13 and 14 and onward we're starting to see that these last day events associated with this beast and its mark the central issue the central theme is worship this the dragon the devil wants worship right we read that all the way back in isaiah chapter 14. you know he wants to be like the most high he's exalted himself as high as the stars he wants to sit on the sides of the north the mount of the congregation he wants to be like god right he's always wanted worship but let's just be honest if the devil walks up into somewhere a mass group reveals himself literally to the world and says hi i'm lucifer i'm the devil satan worship me how's that going to go over for him it's not going to go over very well so how does the devil get worship he sets him up a front man he sets him up this antichrist this beast system and when all the world is wandering and worshiping and giving their allegiance and their support to this beastly system then what's happening is the world is worshiping the devil the dragon as it says here in verse 8 or verse 4 and verse 8 they're worshiping the dragon they're worshiping the devil by representation because they're worshiping him through this beastly power that he has set up and so now that we know that this beast is going to be worshipped and that through this beast the devil is going to be worshipped remember we're sticking to the theme of worship let's go to the third angel's message so let's r if you would there um shelley read for us revelation 14 verses 9 through 12. we're just going to go read through this and you can give comment on that yeah and what i'd like to do first to say that the first angel's message we're going to get to the first and second but the first angel's message describes true worship the second angel's message talks about spiritual babylon a religious system of confusion and apostasy but the third angel's message this is probably the most solemn warning in the whole bible so let's begin revelation 14 9-12 then a third angel followed them sang with a loud voice that's that's an urgent warning if anyone worships there it is again the beast in his image in the image we see in revelation 13 11-17 that's the second beast you were talking about and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of god which has poured out full strength and to the cup of his indignation he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb and the smoke of their torment ascends forever and they have no rest day or who has no rest that's right those who worship there it is again the beast and his image and whoever receives the mark of his name and then there's the most fascinating scripture yes yes verse 12 this is revelation 14 12. here is the patience of the saints here are those who keep the commandments of god and the faith of jesus so we see that juxtaposition here he's talking about if you worship that's right beast and receive his mark the destiny of your soul is at stake yes but then all of a sudden he comes in and he says to the patients of the saints here are those who keep god's commandments and have the faith of jesus it's powerful it's where we're clearly seeing here even within the third angels message and remember these these three angels messages they're going to the entire world so this is a global issue right so the mark of the beast that warning given there that we just read uh that shelley just read from the third angels message of revelation 14 9-12 it's again the central issue is worship but i'm going to take it a step further as you alluded to i'm going to take it just a little step further there are two groups presented in the third angels message there's one group that clearly there will be those who will receive the mark of the beast because they have worshipped they've given their allegiance and their support to this beast system right but then at the tail end of that message there's the second group presented and it's interesting because these are the people who did not receive the mark of the beast they're known as the saints okay we see these saints come up quite a few times in the book of revelation the saints right and it gives a description of these saints what is it they keep the commandment limits of god and the faith of jesus okay so it's interesting that there's the group that that receives the mark and then there's a group that doesn't but the group that doesn't is described as a commandment keeping people my friends i'm going to give it to you plain and simple right here tonight as we go through this study we're going to nail this down very clearly the mark of the beast issue scripturally okay if you're going to just read it within context and study of what the bible actually says the mark of the beast issue is all about who you worship and at the end of the day you're going to god is going to know who who is worshiping him as creator because you will be a commandment keeping people yeah one of the central issues and i would say the heart of this issue we're going to see tonight is dealing with god's law it's dealing with the 10 commandments of god and we're going to get into that a little bit further but now go ahead and say something i just want to say one thing because this is important to point out this third angel's message that is to be given to all the world it begins with this angel that's got the everlasting gospel and the everlasting gospel is found in the actually the previous chapter the everlasting covenant of god is the lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world so when we're talking about the commandment-keeping people they're not keeping the commandments to be saved that's right they are keeping the commandments out of loyalty to god that's right and out of they're motivated by love through god amen and so i just wanted to clarify that's a great point john 14 15 right jesus said if you love me you'll keep my commandments so this these saints you know the patience of the saints these are they that keep the commandments of god and have again the faith of jesus the faith of jesus is that jesus loved his father yes that he obeyed his father he obeyed his father because that's you know keeping his commandments because it saved me he obeyed his father because he loved him and that's the same thing that we do we obey our father we obey our savior and we keep his commandments because we love him the central issue my friend is worship and obedience to god's law we're gonna we're gonna go deeper into this tonight but i'm gonna i'm gonna launch this now and the remaining time we have in this first hour oh you better get your pen pads ready your your writing tablets and everything ready my friends because we are about to explode into identifying this beast of revelation 13 the little horn the harlot remember it's the same system and so the reason why we're doing this think about it the mark of the beast and a lot of people just almost crammed those words into one big sentence as if it's just you know the mark of the beast you hear people say what's the mark of the beast and they don't sometimes just slow it down and you have to sometimes ask yourself what is it that i'm talking about we're trying to identify the mark the mark of the beast so you got to know who the beast you've got to know who the beast is and that's where a lot of people a lot of people have an idea well i think the mark of the beast is some big computer over in belgium or i think it's a we've heard this before a bar code or a tattoo or or some chip you know inserted everybody has these theories and now the modern one that we're seeing again is all the this vaccine you know they're gonna it's the mark of the beast they're gonna use it to bring about the mark of the beast you know you know this issue this divisive issue is certainly bring i think it's conditioning the world and setting up setting us up for the mark of the beast issue for sure but nonetheless my friends we want to be clear the vaccine's not the mark of the beast it's dealing with the law of god its central theme is worship but before we can identify what that mark is we first have to know who this beast is the mark of the beast well who's the beast and so in order to do that we're going to be looking at daniel 7 the little horn then we're going to also look at some identifications from revelation 13 the first beast and then we're going to also jump over into revelation 17 and we're going to compare we have about 13 for the sake of time we have about 13 identifications lord pray pray for that clock shelly because it's clicking away so again we're in daniel 7 god is showing daniel this fourth beast right he's we know that we're talking about this this roman beast again iron teeth ten horns 476 a.d those 10 kingdoms come about because papal rome splits into 10 different smaller kingdoms that we know today as western europe and so that being said now god hits the zoom button on the camera in daniel's mind and it zooms in on the head of this fourth beast and now god draws his attention to this little horn and so why don't you read for us there uh shelley daniel chapter seven verse eight is actually going to bring about about our first four or five identifications this this this one verse daniel 7 verse 8 is packed with information if we would just allow the bible to speak for itself so go ahead and read that for us and then we'll start identifying all right daniel 7 8 i was considering the horns and there was another horn a little one coming up among them before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots and there in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth speaking pompous words a mouth speaking pompous words king james version says great words and it goes on to even in another text download down the way great words and blasphemies is what revelation 13 adds we're going to talk about all of this but again my friends this is all symbolism these are symbols and all of these things mean something we just have to allow the bible as well as history to give us some insight on who it is that we're talking about so we know what a horn represents what does a horn represent represents a power it represents a power a kingdom a smaller nation of some kind and so we're seeing this fourth beast which is the empire of rome but then rome is divided up into 10 different divisional kingdoms these little horns are 10 kings or 10 kingdoms smaller kingdoms and so notice here our very first identification when daniel sees this horn it's not just any old kind of horn it's a little horn so if horn represents a kingdom or a significant power then this is not just your you know average you know type of kingdom or nation this is a what a small kingdom or nation now before we go any further i'm just go i'm going to do something a little different tonight i'm going to tell you who this is uh because i think if you're if you're a watcher of 3abn you know exactly where we're going with this because you've probably heard us present this many times but there may be someone tonight that's watching for the very first time that's just sitting on the edge of their seat waiting and wanting to know no tell me who it is tell me who it is i'm going to tell you who it is and as we're going through these identifications we're going to back up why we believe this to be this great beastly antichrist system okay here it is there can be no other institution and we're talking about a religious institution why because they're going to be worshiped and they're going to force worship right the only religious institution on the face of this globe my friends that can fit the biblical description given in the bible is none other than the roman papal church state power of course we're talking about the roman catholic church system notice how i added that word system we want to clarify that because as someone may be watching this they may even be catholics watching this we're not attacking people we're not certainly trying to throw catholic christians under the bus here we believe that there's good people in all churches okay so this is not a catholic bashing a couple of hours that we're trying to do here that's not our intention but i do believe that the system and what it represents this roman papal church state system is very much against god and it is very much in question in the sense that it is robbing god of his glory we're going to see that in these identifications so now that we've clearly put it out there we're being transparent about who this power is the roman papal church state system the roman catholic church system as we go through these identifications you're going to see very clearly that it can fit nobody else but that of the roman catholic church system so small kingdom is the vatican vatican city a small kingdom it is indeed it has a hundred embassies on vatican hill it is something that the pope is probably one of the most powerful leaders in the world but it's it's not just that it's a small kingdom let's look at that again daniel 7 8 here is the second identification mark i was considering horns there was another horn a little one coming up among them among the ten horns in other words coming up in europe this would be after 476 a.d when imperial rome the the pagan rome that was governed by caesars was it collapsed and the roman church that's right came and it ruled by the popes and greatly increased in power so we see that rome is a small kingdom the roman papal system we see that it came up in europe from among the division that's right beautifully put beautifully put in fact i just have to highlight here it's not as she said it's not just a small kingdom it's not just a small nation we're talking about the smallest country a lot of people don't know that vatican city is its own independent statehood it's its own independent country and it sets on about 120 acres 121 acres so it's the smallest most influential country in the world when daniel saw that little horn he was like this is interesting it's a small horn because of course god was trying to communicate this is a small kingdom and our second identification you brought up very clearly here and notice how the geography of this little horn while many people are looking to the middle east and trying to wait for some antichrist to come up out of israel god is telling us right here in daniel 7. no no no if the little horn is coming out of rome where is rome located it's coming up among the other 10 horns which is located in western europe so there's our second identification it comes up among them in western europe and now look at the time frame this is our third identification it's also coming from daniel 7 8 notice the little horn comes up after the other 10. so that gives us a time frame in history as to when we start to look for this supreme power to come about of the papacy because if you look and see the papacy didn't really receive its supreme power ecclesiastically and politically until after 476 which we're looking at as 538 a.d in fact i think we have a slide on this and this is a his this is the history of the christian church volume 3 page 327 notice what this says it says the roman church state power became supreme and christendom in 538 a.d due to the letter of the roman emperor justinian's decree which set up and acknowledged the bishop of rome as the head of all churches now it makes it almost sound like oh it's just the head of the churches but when you read uh ac flicks the rise of the medieval church page 168 another historian's approach to this notice what they also this historian also adds it says the bishop of rome in the seat of the caesars now we have politics involved was now the greatest man in the west and was soon forced to become the political as well as the spiritual head so what we're seeing here shelley is that this was a great so our first little horn there's our first identification it comes up among them in western europe among the other 10 and it rises after them after 476 and we have an actual date 538 a.d is when the emperor gave all the power over to the hierarchy the pope the bishop of rome in 538 a.d but then we're seeing this little horn in the process of its growing it does something what does it do it destroys three nations again we're back at daniel 7 8. considering the horns there was another horn a little one coming up from among them before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots when you think of this the ten horns that were seen the ten nations that pagan rome was divided into were the alemany those are the germans the burgundian that's the swiss the franks or the french the lombards are the italians the saxons or the english the sueve the portuguese the visigoths with the spanish that's seven of them but have you ever heard of the heruli the vandals or the ostrogoths nope why they were plucked out by the roots what happened these three kingdoms resisted the growing power of the papal system that's right and they did not like the political influence so the papal system uprooted the heruli in ad493 the vandals in 534 and the osteros in 538 and there there are no more people from these three nations when it says they were plucked out by the roof there was neither root nor branch left for them that's right you know and i just want to make very clear here you know god is warning us he's trying to give us these identifications because he wants us to know who it is how many christians have you heard and i used to believe this because i was taught this no one knows who the antichrist is because he hasn't arrived yet right it's they usually most most christians that they believe especially among the evangelical world that the antichrist has not come this great beast of revelation 13 the little horn that harlot of rep oh it hasn't showed up yet and and so we're seeing that god is giving us the identifications he's saying no no not only do i i'm giving these to you because i want you to know who this is so you can be prepared for when these times come and there is no other institution my friends in history that fits the biblical descriptions than the roman papal church state they're the only ones responsible for the complete annihilation of three entire groups of people as you were bringing out there which is why god is showing this this little horn is coming up three horns other horns are plucked up by the roots if you go out to a tree or a plant and you plug it up by the roots and throw it out on the ground shelly what's going to happen amen it's going to cease to exist it's going to die and that's exactly what we're seeing here happening but then we see daniel begins to describe this little horn further because not only is it doing these things but also daniel sees the eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth-speaking pompous word so there's a leader the face the facial features of this horn it communicates a sense of leadership there's a there's an overseer there's a there's a a leader that speaks and represents this system as a leadership figure and we know according to what we have identified of course the the one figure that can fit that description none other is that of the office of the pope we know there's been many popes but all of these popes represent that leadership figure they speak on behalf of the system they represent uh this papal system and the pope is probably the most in fact it's it's statistically right now the person who has the highest uh political uh clout and the and and has the highest approval rating on the planet right now most people don't know this is pope francis pope francis and so there i think when daniel saw the you know the eyes of a man the mouth speaking great things we start talking about a leadership figure but not only is this this mouth just speaking anything when you get to revelation 13 verse 6 and revelation 17 3 read those fours what is what is that what does john add well it he says first let me look at daniel 17. it says uh they're they're the eyes of the man and a mouth speaking pompous words they they claim a doctrine of infallibility in their pronouncements they assume the titles of god almighty like holy father which john 17 11 this was how jesus addressed the father was holy father yes and pope benedict actually proclaimed that the roman catholic church was the only true church on earth so now we come taking that look and i'm going to share some uh quotes with you in just a moment sure from the protestant reformation when we go through all of this because we're not you know the problem is people don't know what protestants are anymore we don't know what the history is but the reformers believe the catholic church was the antichrist so let's look at revelation 13 6. he opened his mouth speaking of this beast in blasphemy against god to blaspheme his name his tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven and then revelation 17 3 says he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness i saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy having said seven heads and ten horns so we see the amalgamation daniel 7 perfectly meshes with revelation 13 and then here daniel 17 the blasphemy when this is assuming something that is only the authority of god like forgiving sins or claiming to be god right and then the persecution of the saints yes absolutely so again assuming the authority of god in these these three forms as she just said you know forgiving again claiming that you have the authority to forgive sins claiming to be god right who who what created being would say i'm god right very few very few in fact we're going to nail it down in a moment and of course paul talks about in first timothy chapter 1 verses 12 and 13 he considered himself a blasphemer because he was out there persecuting in the name of god this is a form of blasphemy yes let me again we're fitting this to the this papal system i have i'm aware of no other earthly system especially religious system where someone claims to have the authority to do these things i'm only aware of one and that would be the roman papal church state we have a couple extra couple of slides here a couple of quotes that i want to read you and this is coming from some very high catholic sources we're going to let them speak for themselves but again notice this this is coming from linguary duties and dignities and duties of the priest page 34. notice what they say here they're equating jesus and the priesthood it says we're the redeemer to descend into a church and sit into a confessional to administer the sacrament of penance and a priest to sit in a confessional jesus would say over each penitent egote absalvo the priest would likewise say over each penitent or each of his penitents egote absolvo and the penitence of each would be there it is equally absolved so notice how they're placing the priesthood a man-made priesthood you know the pope and the cardinals and the bishops they're placing them on equal ground with jesus christ saying if jesus can forgive sin so can the priest and so again the bible refers to that as blasphemy and then notice here this is coming from archbishop of venice prior to becoming pope who we know was pope pius the tenth this is what he said very clearly he said the bishop of rome is not only the representative of jesus christ but he is jesus christ himself hidden under the veil of the flesh and then he says here does the bishop of rome speak it is jesus christ who speaks i'm not aware of any other protestant or any other christian organization that claims that type of very arrogant authority but yet this papal system does and i have to just say this just just to be clarified clarify this for a moment i don't believe that all catholics see it in this way because i've actually had catholic friends who have said to me i don't see the pope as god i don't see the pope as equal with jesus christ but there are a lot they do and so we're talking about the system we're not throwing catholics under the bus here because god loves people and he's not at war with people and god has a people in every church absolutely there's a lot of strong christians but we're going to see a loud cry in a little bit absolutely i'm thinking of this one here this one i'm not going to put this on the screen here but i have to read it the encyclical letters of pope leo the 13th page 66 this is what he said he said speaking of the office of the pope we hold upon this earth the place of god almighty i mean my goodness right so we're talking about a blasphemous power that's another identification but now we move on to our seventh identification which is we see that daniel saw that this little horn as well as the beast of revelation 13 as well as the harlot of revelation 17 is a persecuting power it's persecuting god's saints so why don't you take us there to daniel 7 and read that let me just read those three scriptures real quickly it's daniel 7 21. he said i was watching in the same horn this is the little horn was making war against the saints and prevailing against them and then daniel 13 verse revelation revelation revelation 13 it was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them this is talking of the beast and authority was given over every tribe tongue and nation in revelation 17 6 said i saw the woman this is the woman on the scarlet beast and a woman in prophecy represents a church yes i'm glad you brought that out that's that's so important to know god always refers to his church as a woman we are the bride of christ so there this is an apostate woman listen revelation 17 6 i saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of jesus and when i saw her i marveled with great amazing yes so this is a persecuting power yes and and i don't think that any person who has a a you know a decent understanding of history especially church history is going to question this one what other religious organization in history has shed blood more than the papacy i don't know of any and that's exactly what the history brings out you know for instance i'll give you one right here this is a history of the rise and influence of rationalism in europe uh page volume or volume 2 page 32 and they make that point here they say that the roman church state power okay has shed more innocent blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind will be questioned by no protestant who has a competent knowledge of history and i can tell you i wrote many many church history papers in college and and that was kind of my focus and it's just amazing it is estimated shelly that over 50 million people during the dark ages lost their life because of their faith because of the persecution of the of the people's papal system the papal system had or had started what they called the holy office of the inquisition right and this was a monstrous organization i've read between some historians say between 50 and 100 million persons that were tortured and killed all in the name of jesus christ because these were people that were considered heretics because they did not believe what the catholic church was that's right it really is a sad history but nonetheless it's an identification god says look for that that religious power that is persecuting my saints persecuting my commandment keeping people remember revelation 12 17 we see the pure woman and at the very end of revelation 12 verse 17 there it says and the dragon the devil he's went to make war with the remnant of her seed which keep the commandments of god and have the testimony of jesus christ you know i want to point out here because daniel 7 24 and 25 shows that this little horn power is different yes from the other 10 kids it says daniel 7 24 says the ten horns are ten kings who shall rise from this kingdom when rome was divided and another shall rise after them he shall be different and shall subdue three kings we've already looked at that but what is different about this little horn power why did the papal system have the authority yes to martyr so many people it is because it was not just a political place that's right that's right but a religious political power it was a combination of church and state and this is what made that power so dangerous that's why in the united states we're always saying separation of church state how critical that it is it's huge absolutely so so this is most definitely a persecuting power but now we're gonna move on to our and i said that was number seven i might have i might be off on my numbers here uh let me go back and check this out and make sure this is number six this will be number eight actually i believe this upcoming one but uh this next identification is that we're told right here in daniel chapter 7 verse 25 that not only is this little horn again speaking blasphemies against god but he thinks to change times and laws let's read that in daniel 7 25 it says he shall speak pompous words against the most high shall persecute the saints of the most high and here it is and shall intend to change times and law notice how this has all been a war against god against god's truth against god's people he's wearing out the same so the influence is not necessarily earthly times and laws or or secular times of laws he's not worried about speed limit signs or or any type of you know laws like that he's worried about laws pertaining to god and so we know that when it says that this power thinks that it has the authority to change times and laws this is no doubt god's times god's prophetic times and god's law god's holy law and it's interesting historically and you can add to this too if you know anything about this but you know if you look in your study within the papal system no other christian organization has their own version of the ten commandments but the roman papal church state they literally have their own version of the ten commandments so if you look at the biblical ten commandments as listed in exodus 20 and you compare them to the catholic ten commandments there's a difference they completely threw out commandment number two which says thou shalt not you know worship any or set up any graven images or idols and worship them right they threw that one out so if you look at the catholic version it's not there so that left them with nine commandments and they said whoa we've got to have 10 right so how do they get 10 they went into the 10th commandment which says thou shalt not you know covet thy neighbor's wife or thy neighbor's belongings and they just broke that up into two so now they have their own version did they think that they have the authority to change god's times and laws absolutely we see that in history very clearly and we're going to see tonight also that they even went as far as to change the sabbath commandment where god said it's the seventh day we're going to show you tonight where they said no no we have a new day they did indeed and they fit the biblical description in that area uh also also it says it says here uh none our next identification shelly is that it rules for a period of prophetic three and a half years which we know to be 1260 years there's only one religious organization my friends in the history of mankind that has ruled dominantly for 1 260 years now where do we get that we see there in daniel 7 25 it says that it shall be given in to his hand for a time and times and a half a time that's a period of three times is one year or time is one year times in the plural two years and biblically a half a time is a half a year that's three and a half years there's there's 360 days in a biblical year 30 days in a biblical month if you do the math on that and again let's go ahead and add revelation in there until revelation 13 uh also tells us revelation 13 5 i believe it is tells us that it rules for prophetic 42 months which again 42 times 30 comes out to 1260 years again this is a year for a day principle we have to apply here when talking about prophetic timing so there's only one kingdom one power one significant influential system that is ruled for that long if they started in 538 a.d they went into 1798 a.d historically and even the encyclopedia 1941 edition confirms that it was indeed in the exact year of 1798 that napoleon bonaparte sent in his general berthier and it says there inward it says he made his entrance into rome he abolished the papal government and established a secular one so again again another identification it would rule for that law only the papal system has amen number nine here's our number nine identification it's a dominant world system can we say that this is a dominant world system or are we are we undermining it here what do you say i would say yes so revelation 13 3 says all the world marveled and followed the beast and you know it's interesting to me that when the paper when the pope puts out an encyclical it is interesting to see how many governments then begin to pick up the issues of whatever he has addressed revelation 17 1 2 and 8 says one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me saying come i will show you the judgment of the great harlot and a harlot in scripture is one who has uh let's say they've fornicated against god they've gone after another lover other than the creator who sits on many waters with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication the beast that you saw was is not and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition and those who dwell on the earth will marvel whose names those who dwell whose names are not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world they'll marvel when they see the beast that was and is not and yet is and as you said that's right he's been through these phases of having this from 5 30 8 to 1798 until birthday came along this was the beast that was then suddenly he was not right but revelation 13 tells us that the deadly wound will be healed that was given in 1798 there was a deadly wound given but it will be healed my friends we have come to the we we're at the end of this first hour when we come back we're not quite finished we have at least got to present these last three identifications and then we're going to go right into our study on the mark of the beast we've clearly identified up to this point who the beast is we're going to lock that down when we come back and then we're going to go right into our study on identifying what is now the mark of this beast what is the mark of this papal system and we'll tell you what happened in the previous hour really quickly we're identifying the beast that is the antichrist power of bible prophecy we've been looking in daniel 7 daniel 13. excuse me daniel 7 revelation 13 and also revelation chapter 17 and we've been going through these biblical identifications and let me tell you something no thinking mind no reasonable thinking mind is going to look at these and say it fits to anybody else other then here it is the roman papal church state that system that roman catholic system no doubt historically and presently fits the biblical description and once again i just have to say that we believe that god has his people in every church and we know that there are some good christians yes in the catholic church so this is not cat we're not bashing catholics but there is a system that is opposed to god that's right a system of confusion that does not match the bible that's what we're talking about absolutely absolutely we left off we had three identifications left i'm going to hit these really quickly because the bulk of this next hour we're going to dive into identifying the mark of the beast and as we said in the first hour it's very clear that it's not the vaccine as some christians are believing or are convinced as i'm seeing on my social media people saying oh i'm not i'm not getting the vaccine because it's the mark of the beast it's your choice whether you want to get or not get that vaccine my friends that's not what we're talking about tonight but i want to make it very clear that i can tell you with absolute certainty that the mark of the beast is not the vaccine okay we want to make sure you know what it is tonight and that's what we're going to be discussing in the second hour we left off with and i'm going to just go back through these really quickly just as a real quick uh uh review we were talking about a small kingdom vatican is the smallest country in the world it came up among them in western europe because the little horn came up among the other 10 horns so it comes up among them in western europe it rises after them after the other 10 horns there of course rome fits that description but not just any aspect of rome we're talking about papal rome papal rome was established in 538 a.d that comes after obviously 476 a.d when the 10 kingdoms were established also this little horn is responsible for the complete annihilation of three entire nations and we saw that in the herial eye the vandals and the ostrogoths go look all of this up my friends study this for yourself the bible says study to show yourself self-approved not ashamed of the gospel rightly dividing the word of truth that's second timothy 2 15. so study this on your own remember daniel saw the face of a man the eyes and the mouth of a man that was speaking pompous words that leadership figure that speaks that represents on behalf of the system it can be none other than that of the office of the pope it speaks great words and blasphemy it's a blasphemous system it assumes the authority of god in the form of claiming to be god forgiving sins thinking it has the power to forgive sins and of course persecuting historically in the name of god which actually is our next identification it's a persecuting power daniel saw this john saw this in revelation 13 and 17 that this this antichrist beastly system is a persecuting power it's persecuting god's saints that's another identification it also thinks it has the authority to change god's times and laws and we know that the only religious institution uh you know christian religious institution in the history of the church that has actually attempted to change god's holy law his ten commandments it's the papal system it can be none other than that system of course it rules prophetically for three and a half years which we said actually equates if you do the math correctly and you use the year day principle it's 1260 years and the papacy fits it from 538 a.d to 1798 a.d no other no other institution on the globe was more dominant and influential during those times than the roman papal church day power it's a dominant world power it's a very influential power because all the world in the last days is wandering after this beast it's giving its allegiance it's saying who can make war with it they're they're unmarveled after it right that's what the scripture says the papacy is and it's interesting because the papacy you know it represents one-seventh of the world's population most people don't know that more than one-seventh of the world's population is catholic right now it's not a just small little mealy-neely little system on the corner of the street somewhere it's a real dominant world power but now we come to these last three this is what i want to cover really quickly and i'm going to pitch the ball to shelley here and we're going to open up this mark of the beast conversation john sees in revelation 17 4. notice what he sees he says the woman again this this antichrist power the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication now i got to make this clear this is god i believe this is our god our loving god's last he's getting down to his last few points here as he's he's gaining closer to closing out this great book of revelation he's wanting to give a last few identifications and this is i could just imagine the lord saying you know what in case you missed all of those other identifications that were overwhelmingly clear let me give you one more let me show you what you what colors that this harlot this system this false system of worship wears and remember shelley brought out in the previous hour that a woman in bible prophecy represents a church we see this all throughout scripture remember even paul wrote you know husbands love your wives as christ loves the church the woman is often likened or the church is often likened unto a woman we see a pure woman in revelation and we see this heartless this is a false system of worship and she's wearing colors of what red and purple just do a google search my friends go to google and type in uh vatican uh bishops cardinals and and just type in colors the wrote the colors of the robes the cardinals were red the bishops wear purple it's the only institution in the world where you will see all the buzz all over the vatican these colors it's like god saying look this is them right i'm trying to identify and then in case you missed that one this is what he says in revelation chapter 17 verse nine and this is actually our uh um this is our 11th identification or actually our 12th identification here it says here is here here is the mind which has wisdom so if you have wisdom calculate this notice this it says the seven heads of which this woman is sitting it says are seven mountains on which the woman sits so this is god saying look in case you missed all those other clear identifications let me put my thumb on the map where this woman sits so you'll know where she is located geographically again people are looking over to the middle east they're looking to the white house waiting for this anti-christ power to appear when in reality she sits over in western europe her headquarters are located as a city on that sets on seven mountains my friends i tell you right now i took several geography courses in college and i can tell you with absolute certainty there's only one notorious city on the face of this globe that is famously known as the city that sits on seven hills and it's rome it's rome it only it's all pointing to rome my friends and we have to acknowledge that and of course our last identification here revelation 17 verses one and two it says then one of the seven heads uh who have the set excuse me one of the seven angels who had the seven bulls came and talked with me saying to me come and i will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters but get this next point with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication what this symbolism is communicating here is that this harlot system this papal system has a special relationship with the leaders of the world shelley i don't think anyone who has paying attention of the times the recent events can argue over the past few years that they have seen that the pope himself has been very active i mean i have a list here i'm not going to read them all but all of the presidents and prime ministers and kings and queens that that the pope pope francis just in the past seven or eight years has had private meetings i mean these are world leaders of countries fits the biblical description coming before the united states congress exactly and that's never happened historically he's the first one of a religious institution that has ever addressed a joint session of congress my friends the whole point is is that all of these identifications can only point to one system and it's no doubt the roman papal church state the roman catholic system let me just say one thing prophecies about this most powerful kingdom perfectly fit history and in the 1500s when the protestant reformation happened and we had biblical scholars like wycliffe tyndale swingly calvin martin luther all of these as they studied the bible they shook the world with their conclusions and this is what they said luther in one of his commentaries wrote daniel saw the terrible wild beast which had ten horns which by the consent of all is the roman empire yes all historians agree on that he also beheld another small horn come up in the middle of them and here's what luther a catholic priest says this is the papal power which rose up in the middle of the roman empire john fox in his book fox's book of martyrs says disregarding the maxims and the spirit of the gospel they just disregarded it the papal church arming herself with the power of the sword yes vex the church of god and wasted it for centuries a period most appropriately termed in history the dark ages the kingdoms listen to this the kings of the earth gave their power yes to the beast and this is what he's calling the papal system all roads lead to rome a great book michael d simlian and here's what he says as he summarizes the reformation he says wycliffe tyndale luther calvin kramner in the 17th century bunyan the translators of the king james bible and the men who published the westminster and baptist confessions of faith sir isaac newton wesley whitfield jonathan edwards and more recently spurgeon bishop j.c rile and dr martin lloyd jones these men among countless others also the office of the papacy as the antichrist so when this is not something new that we're talking about this is if you don't know what a protestant is protestants are protesting the papal power they're protesting the the doctrines that are taught if you're a protestant if you're not a catholic you're a protestant that's what it's all about that's right absolutely because protestants uh that's founded on sola scripture are the bible in the bible alone versus the papal system again they have their own traditions and it's based off catechism and tradition rather than necessarily the truth of god's word alone you know what but since we have identified who this beast is okay now let's get to the let's get to the subject of the hour because we've got little time to identify this my friends but now we're going to clearly study and identify what this mark of the beast really is we're going to we're going to nail it down right here in the closing moments that we have if we know that this system this this antichrist system can be none other than the roman papal church state now when we go back to revelation 13 and it starts to talk about the mark of the beast right the mark of his name and the number of his name and the you know you know the mark on the forehead and on the hand okay which beast is it first beast of revelation 13. that is the papal system so now we're talking about not just the mark of the beast but we're specifically talking about the mark of the papacy the the mark of authority that is associated with this papal system get that in your head as we're studying through this my friends because a lot of people when they think of the mark of the beast they throw it out there and it's just whatever comes to their mind as they're beginning to kind of you know just you know put out all these different theories in their head but we have to keep it within the context of the fact that this is the mark of the papal system now that being said we've already established that it's about worship the issue the central issue of the mark of the beast is worship we see that in revelation 13 and within the first second and third angels message it's all it's going to the whole world it's all about worship and now i'm going to nail this down again just as a reminder revelation 14 verse 12. remember there are two groups presented in the third angels message and it's all about those who receive the mark of the beast who worship the image who are giving their allegiance to the beast those who do oh my friends it's a horrible warning but god gives it he says look if you worship this beast or his image or receive the mark you're going to be annihilated oh you're going to god's going to pour out his whole wrath upon you and he has to deal with this sin problem right but then you see the second group and remember we said that within the heart of this issue is dealing with god's law and that's why we read in revelation 14 verse 12 it says here is the patience of the saints here are those who keep the commandments of god and the faith of jesus so now everything we're about to study my friends you're going to see that more and more and more when we start to look at the seal of god versus the mark of the beast because again when you're studying this issue you can't you cannot talk about the mark of the beast without talking about god's mark god seal god's sign of authority and we see very clearly that the heart of this issue is god's holy law and shall he just talk a little bit just before we dive into this talk a little bit more express for a couple of minutes we know that we're not saved by the law no yet it's important we are saved by grace through faith right i mean romans revelation 13 8 the everlasting covenant the gospel is the lamb who was slain from the foundation of the earth listen there's nothing you can do to save yourself right but if you study the covenants of god in the old covenant the heart of the covenant was based on the ten commandment law of love and liberty and then we see in hebrews 8 and that the heart of the new covenant god's going to write his law in our hearts and minds and it is the heart of the new covenant so out of covenant loyalty to our creator our redeemer the one who sanctifies us what we do is we walk in obedience because we love him and he's our father so we jesus didn't keep god's commandments to become the son of god he kept them because he was we don't keep god's commandments to be saved we keep him because we're god's child amen amen and it's based on love right the central issue is worship obedience and not just obedience but obedience out of love we because we love them john 14 15 if you love me keep my commandments i think of john 17 verse 3 right where jesus says this is eternal life that they may know you the only true god in jesus christ whom thou hast sinned knowing god how do we know god first john chapter 2 verse 3 and 4 says now by this we know that we know him if we keep his commandments right he who says i know him and does not keep his commandments is a liar so it shouldn't surprise us that the central issue at the heart of this mark of the beast seal of god issue it's god's law it's god's law satan is attacking god's law and everything that god does god said you will surely die if you read of this truth satan says no you're not going to die right god said to have no other gods before me satan wanted to be a god but he set up the pagan god system there is the father the son and the holy spirit well then we see in revelation 16 the dragon the beast and the false prophet and these three frogs coming up god has a pure woman a pure church satan has a harlot woman an adulterous woman who's committed fornication against the lord god's the bible tells us and god's way is worship god satan's way is worship the beast god has a seal and satan has mark i'm so glad you brought that out satan is not an original thinker let me put that out there he gets all of his ideas from god and i love how you said he's a counterfeiter he's god puts the idea out there and the devil's trying to come up with all these plans and in these these these uh these schemes to try to counterfeit what god has already put into place so that he can take away worship from god it's all about worship and so this is setting us up perfectly because here's the question i'm going to ask as we launch ourselves into this now if satan is a counterfeiter which shelley clearly just displayed evidence for that biblically and by the way that was just a few points we could have listed more and more right but if satan is oh can i say one more thing is that a counterfeit how do you identify a counterfeit i have a friend that works in a bank you know what they do they have them study the originals to where you know what is the true thing so well that when you see a counterfeit bill you'll recognize see we've got to know the word of god study to show yourself approved because satan's counterfeit here's what he does you pick it up at first what looks like that hundred dollar bill but what he will do is he twists scripture to our destruction and so he'll have 90 percent truth and ten percent that's a counterfeit it has to be solo scripture or the bible and the bible amen beautiful point beautiful point so if satan is a counterfeiter is it possible that he would have a mark that would counterfeit god's mark that's kind of what we're going with this where does the mark of the beast come from remember he's not an original thinker so when we get to revelation 16 we see excuse me revelation 13 verse 16 we see very clearly this mark of the beast issue comes in but it's not something new it's not a new concept because we read early on in the old testament scriptures god has his mark so let's put this together for a moment it's called the mark of the beast the mark of the papacy that's what we're talking about this papal system has their mark of authority but who is giving the papal system their power and their seat and his authority it's the devil the devil's behind it so also god has his mark so the devil has his mark and it's a counterfeit of god's mark ezekiel chapter nine verse four let's provide some evidence for this god has his mark and we want god's bark that's what we want we want god's mark we don't want the mark of the beast we want to make sure we're sealed with god's mark in our foreheads not with the mark of the beast so notice this ezekiel 9 verse 4 it says and the lord said to him and of course this is equal in vision that god is showing him a judgment of the last days and he says go through the midst of the city through the midst of jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it and it's interesting when we read that chapter there in ezekiel 9 and you read the previous chapter ezekiel 8 yes you get the context of why god is giving his mark to these people that sigh and cry for the abominations because the people who were not sighing and crying for the abominations in other words the ones who were doing the abominations they were breaking god's law yeah that was the issue and so webster's dictionary let's talk about this for a moment i just pulled this out as an example because we want to define what is a mark because when people think of the mark they may have you know again a tattoo a a a translucent mark a bar code or whatever but when we're talking about a mark in this context what is a mark a mark is a an indication a sign it's a mark of authority it's an impression that is made on something and we're going to see in just a moment that what god's seal is the mark of his authority is something that he puts in our hearts in our hearts and in our minds in revelation 7 1 through 3 we see this distinguishing characteristic this symbol that's used for identification and it's it's an indication of ownership so revelation 7 1 3 1-3 says this after these things i saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth holding the four winds of the earth that the wind should not blow on the earth the sea or any tree then i saw another angel ascending from the east having the seal of the living god this is the symbol that's used for identification this is the indication of god's ownership and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea saying do not harm the earth the sea or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our gods on of our god on their foreheads we will see in scripture yes it is not something that god's not going to tattoo and name his name on us when it says that his name is written on our forehead this is his seal is in our minds this is something symbolism right it's simple literal exactly i mean obviously we the context of this whole chapter of revelation and and m m much of what we find in revelation is symbolism right i mean can you imagine we can't imagine in the last days we're going to see this big beast coming up out of the sea with seven heads and ten and drinking blood riding of you know a seven-headed beast and a scarlet colored beast i mean these are symbols my friends and so what we're seeing here very clearly as she just read god's god in the last days before he releases these four wins again this is tribulation time period is what he's talking about prior to the close of probation for humanity and when this tribulation time period comes upon earth before that comes god is going to know who is his people and he's going to know who the beast people are in other words how is he going to know it's all about worship you choose to worship him and receive his seal his mark in your mind and we're going to clarify this in just a moment even more clearly about how the forehead is a symbol of the mind and the hand is a symbol of works following through with what you believe right and so in this sense god has his mark he has his seal and it says right there in verse 3 of revelation 7 until we have sealed the servants of god in or on their foreheads again in our minds god has his mark and so let's let's start to narrow this down there shelly because people i know right now i can just imagine someone screaming into the television i know i would be right now saying tell me tell me what this mark is well i know in isaiah 8 16. god says bind up the testimony seal the law among my disciples and as i said we see in the old covenant that the ten commandments were the heart of the old covenant and we see in hebrews 8 10 that god says i am going to write my lord yes on your mind your mind that's it in your mind so it shall you know exodus 13 and verse 9 says it shall be a sign to you on your hand that means your actions right and as a memorial between your eyes i mean this is he's talking about that the lord's law may be in your mouth so we're not going to have ten commandments tattooed on our forehead this is something that it's it's symbolic to mean to mean that it's in our mind and in our hearts that's right and i love that what's the root word it wrecked back to the exodus 13 it says that it may be a memorial between your eyes okay that's the forehead as she brought out symbol of the mind a memorial what's the root word of memorial memory right god wants you to memorize he wants you to know he doesn't want you to just necessarily know it mentally but he wants it to be in your mind and in your heart and i've got to go here to i know you've referenced hebrews 8 and 10. i want to read that text here because it's powerful this is to me one of the most powerful this is god uh reestablishing re quoting from jeremiah 31 31 where he brings in about and initializes the the new covenant and i believe right now you know are we new covenant christians i believe we're new covenant christians right not you're in trouble i mean if we're new covenant christians under the blood and banner of jesus christ what does that mean for us hebrews 8 verse 10 it says for this is the covenant that i will make with the house of israel after those days says the lord i will put my here she's what just shelley said earlier i will put my laws into their mind and write them up on their hearts and i will be their god and they shall be my people that's relationship language yes so what god is saying is when i put my law into your mind and heart there's going to be a relationship established you're going to know that i am your god and i'm going to know you are my people and so kind of back to this again in our mind forehead mind hand ecclesiastes 9 verse 10. here's the text for that great text it gives us an indication that the hand is a representation of of works of what you do because ecclesiastes 9 10 the beginning portion of that text says whatever your hand finds to do do it with all your might so again what we the hand is a symbol of works and this is what's interesting we can receive the mark of the beast either in our forehead or in our hand and i believe the reason for that is is that there's going to be a lot of people who will receive it here because they're fully convinced they're fully deceived they make the decision but i wonder how many people at the end of time because of the pressures the societal pressures the pressures of the time and the pressure the pressure of persecution they know better they know god's will but yet they're going to do otherwise based on the pressure that's where that the the the mark being received in the hand the works of their life the fruit of their life the fruit of their actions will tell a story on who they worship even though some people might even know better they'll go against the word of the lord i want to get to seal real quick because boy we're already running i know right when you think of a seal if it says president joe biden united states of america a seal will have the name the title and the territory on every seal that you see of a government so which of the ten commandments which of god's commandments that the little horn thought he could change the time and the law which one has the seal of god listen to this exodus 20 verses 8-11 remember the sabbath day to keep it holy six days you shall labor and do all of your work but the seventh day is the sabbath the lord your god in it you shall do no work you nor your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant or your cattle or your stranger who is within your gate so here it comes right in the law of god which i think of the ten commandments is the bill of rights that's right it's it's our love relationship with the lord on the first table and our love relationship with others on the last six but listen to this in six days the lord who's who's yahweh made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them and he rested on the seventh day there's the seal of god his name his title his territory the seal of god yes is right stamped in the fourth commandment in the heart of the lord therefore the lord blessed the sabbath day and hallowed it so if this issue is over worship yes now listen to this oh come on here we go now this is the first angel's message remember i told you the first angel's message is about true worship the second angel's message is about babylon a confused religious system and the third angel's message is about not receiving the mark of the beast or else your destiny is going to be hellfire but listen to this first angel's message i saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel that is salvation by grace through faith that is the lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world to preach to those who dwell on the earth to every nation tribe tongue and people saying with a loud voice now listen to this first angel's message yes because you're going to find that exodus 28-11 is right here that's right this is the loud voice message fear god and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment has come and worship yes here's the worship worship him who made heaven and earth the sea and the springs of water yes that's just almost verbatim what we read it is word for word lord the lord made the heavens the earth the sea and all that is in them that's the fourth commandment oh yes and here it is again i'm glad you brought that up let's emphasize that before we go any further in this my friends first angel's message going to the entire world second angel's message third angel's message going to the entire world and what shelley just read there and i just want to re-emphasize this just to because repetition is good for us to get that in our head if the first angel's message is going out to the entire world and by the way i want to say this and i believe there's support for this if the entire world would receive the first angels message positively and respond to it positively there would have been no need for a second or third angel's message because everyone would have responded to god and to their creator worshiping him fearing god that is giving him reverence giving them his their life to him by giving glory to him they would have made god the creator their master but in this case we see that there is a second and third angels message because people many people in the world the majority of the world in the last days will reject the message of the first angel and so as shelley bread there beautifully the ending portion of that first angel's message and worship him who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and the springs of waters i mean almost word for word where do we find those exact words it's in the fourth commandment of the ten commandments it's interesting in other words yeah is and and i have to say this because some people and and until the lord i used to boy i was i preached against the seventh day seventh i did i i used to preach that the ten commandments were nailed to the cross till i really god sat me down and said forget what you think you know and i started studying but here's what's interesting in exodus 28 or verse 11 what we're seeing is that the sabbath is a memorial of god as our creator that's right we're worshiping the creator the one who recreates us from the image of jesus and deuteronomy 5 15 says that the sabbath is a memorial that god is our redeemer it says that remember your sabbath because god brought you out from there by a mighty hand out of egypt and by an outstretched arm therefore the lord your god commanded you to keep the sabbath day so we we celebrate god as our redeemer and you know the sabbath isn't about resting perfectly it's about perfect rest in christ and then the sabbath is also a memorial a sign god says that he is the one who sanctifies us exodus 31 13. if if we see him as our creator as our redeemer and as the one who is going to set us apart and make us holy as he works in us to will and to do the sabbath is not legalistic and it's no more legalistic to keep the sabbath than it is not to murder somebody that's right i mean that's true let's just say it's right out there but it is a beautiful yes the sabbath was made from yes in other words god god has his mark my friends what is his mark of authority how does god know that you are his now we can put that question out there and you know toss it out there in the christian world and people will come up with all kinds of crazy answers right well you know i believe i know god's you know because of this because that we want to know what does the bible say so far all of this has pointed to god's law god says bind up the testimony isaiah 8 16 bind up the testimony seal the law among my disciples and within the heart of god's law we know that his seal is found there his name his title his territory it was almost like the lord was putting his signature right there in the fourth commandment and saying how do you know i am your god right here because i've declared this seventh day is my holy day and here's where it starts we start to nail this down god's seal is his sabbath commandment my friends let's just make that very clear i'm not being around the bush let's not sugarcoat god's seal his mark so here it is god's seal his sign and his mark seal sign and mark those are just synonyms interchangeable talking about the same thing when we're talking about the mark of the beast we're talking about the seal of the beast the sign of the papacy right that mark of authority what is god's mark of authority let's let's nail this down it's his sabbath commandment how does he know you are his let me allow god to tell you from his own mouth this is we're going to read these texts here this is coming from exodus 31 verse 13 which shelley alluded to just a moment ago but let's nail this down here exodus 31 13. this is god speaking and he says speak also to the children of israel saying surely my sabbaths you shall keep for it is a sign what did webster's dictionary define as a mark it's a sign it's an indication so god says my sabbath is a sign between me and you throughout your generations that you may know that i am the lord who sanctifies you you know what that reminds me of that language there it reminds me of the new covenant amen hebrews 8 10. amen i will write my laws into your mind in your heart that you may know that i am the lord your god and that i may know you are my people same language used right here in connection with the sabbath so that's exodus 31 13 oh by the way oh let me bring this out the word sign here in the original hebrew is the word auth of off-o-t-h off and when you look that up in your strongs my friends get your strong's out and look this up for yourself it's powerful that that word that hebrew word off right there when he says it's a sign between me and you if you look in the definition that your strongest gives that your hebrew lexicon gives you it's a another word for that word sign is mark it's right there in other words god is saying it's a it's for a mark between me and you throughout your generations that you may know that i am the lord who sanctifies you god knows that you are set apart you are his when you accept his sabbath commandment let's move on to ezekiel chapter 20 verse 12 because as he says it again here he says moreover i also gave them my sabbaths to be a sign off a mark between me and them that they may know that i am the lord who sanctifies them and then he repeats it again in verse 20 of ezekiel chapter 20 he says hallow my sabbaths that they may be a sign there it is that it will be a sign of mark between me and you that you may know that i am the lord your god my friends this is coming from god himself this isn't reindee's theology this isn't shelley quinn's theology god himself is saying my mark of authority my seal of authority my sign of authority is my sabbath if i know if i want to know you are mine and i'm gonna put my seal up on you then you as a as a as a child of god must be a sabbath-keeping christian and when you keep the sabbath god knows you are a law keeper that's what we see in exodus 16 the test of the sabbath amen and if if that is god's mark right and if satan if the priest is going to counterfeit that mark what does it mean it means that the beast will intend or think that they have changed the time that's the only commandment by the way commandment number time that deals with time so listen to daniel 7 25 again we'll get into this because if satan's a counterfeiter he's going to counterfeit god's seal god's mark with a seal of his own daniel 7 25 he shall speak pompous words against the most high he shall persecute the saints of the most high and shall intend to change times and law let me tell you what the papacy has to say this is a key statement from an official catechism of the roman catholic church reverend peter giermann and here's what it's just a question answer question answer in the catechism question which is the sabbath day answer saturday is the sabbath day question why do we observe sunday instead of saturday answer we observe sunday instead of saturday because the catholic church transferred the solemnity from saturday to sunday and by the way sunday there's a whole people are trying to change the calendar the seventh day is saturday and we see in mark 16 9 when the women were at the uh the first of the week when they went to the tomb the first day the day that jesus rose on sunday is called the first day of the week that's right so jesus called himself the lord of the sabbath and he never once you cannot find a single scripture and even the catholic church says that there is no scripture to change the sabbath so is this their mark of authority is this the little horn powers mark of authority listen yes this is so great this comes from the catholic record september we have a slide for this we're going to put it up on 1923. here's the slide you've got to see it catholic record september 1st 1923 sunday is our mark of authority the church is above the bible oh lord have mercy and this transference of sabbath observance is proof of that fact and so what we see here i'm glad you read that because i mean this is them and that's one thing i respect about the catholic church is they're very honest they're not holding anything back what prophecy predicts roman myths they do truthfully i mean as she read earlier that's prophesied in daniel chapter 7 that this power this this antichrist power would think to change god's times and laws and it just so happens that the one law that's dealing with time is the sabbath and so it's interesting that god sealed his sign in the word of god he clearly says it's my sabbath and if satan is a counterfeiter and he's the authority behind this papal system again the mark of the papacy the beast then he's going to counterfeit god's day so what does he say if god's going to have his day then i'm going to have my day if god's day is his mark of authority his seal of authority his sabbath then i'm going to have my seal my mark of authority and notice the papacy they said here as you just read it sunday is our mark of authority let me read from you this comes from c.f thomas chancellor of cardinal gibbons this is an older odor uh quote here but notice what he again admits this is a catholic record that we have a slide for this one as well it says of course the catholic church claims that the change was her act speaking of the sabbath it says and the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters and so again this is this is just admitted over and over and over again and so what i'm going to do here and we might just bounce a few of these off each other here shelly you can read one i can read one we want to put these up for you these this here's real catholic resources where they're openly admitting and they're saying look we changed the sabbath it's not in the bible it's our mark of authority and so why don't you take us to the next one here um read the one from priest brady an address reported to the yes elizabeth new jersey news on march 18 1903 it is well to remind the presbyterians baptists methodists and all other christians that the bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of sunday sunday is an institution of the roman catholic church and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the catholic church that's a very straightforward very straightforward let me give you another one here this is from 1950 february 5th our sunday visitor notice again catholic source and this is what they say they say protestants accept sunday rather than saturday as the day for public worship after the catholic church made the change but the protestant mind does not seem to realize that in observing sunday they are accepting the authority of the spokesman for the church the pope and what did we say this issue was over worship so you're going to either worship god and keep his commandments which means you're keeping his day or you reject the bible sabbath and you accept a counterfeit sabbath and in this case you're giving your allegiance and your support to a false system and that's what's happening here my friends it says this is the mark of the beast this is the mark of the papacy take us to this next one catholic universe bulletin august 14 the roman catholic church changed the observance of the sabbath to sunday by right of the divine infallible authority given to her by her founder jesus christ the pr and they're saying jesus is giving them the authority to preach the word the protestant claiming the bible to be the only guide of faith has no warrant for observing sunday this matter the seventh-day adventist is the only consistent protestant i find that amazing because if you do if you do the research you'll find that currently as i'm speaking there are more than 40 000 protestant denominations in the world today that's amazing and the mother church that started it all right i mean all the protestants church is essentially historically came from the papacy because it's one time father of heartless she's the mother of parliament and there at one time the papal church was the only christian church that existed and it's interesting that out of all of the protestant denominations that the the papacy could name they named the seventh-day adventist as the only consistent denomination with scripture i praise god for that because as a seventh-day adventist christian i wasn't raised as a seventh-day adventist christian you weren't shelly raised as a seventh-day adventist christian we came from these other protestant churches and when we learn the truth about the sabbath you know when you love truth and i want to make this clear when you love truth then you accept it whether you like it or not and you and you allow the fact because you love truth you love god you love jesus you love your savior it makes it easy to make that transition in your mind because the idea is lord if this is truth and this is in your word then i want to fit my mind my heart my life around that truth because it's your truth but i have to say this it just occurred to me you may be watching and saying i keep this i keep sunday instead of the seventh day sabbath i have to tell you you don't have the mark of the beast right now even if you're worshiping on sunday that's right because we're going to show you in just a moment the mark of the beast comes at the end of time it is legislated so it is not until such time as the legislation is passed that people will be forced to observe and that's when they get the mark of the beast so i just want to say that right now before somebody goes nobody has we're going to spend some time on that last couple of minutes we have let's read these last two quotes because to me they really just nailed everything down here this is coming from the saint catherine catholic church sentinel from may 21 1995 notice what they say here perhaps the boldest thing the most revolutionary change the church ever did happened in the first century the holy day the sabbath was changed from saturday to sunday and then they go on to say the day of the lord dias dominica was chosen not from any direction noted in the scriptures but from the church's sense of its own power the day of resurrection the day of pentecost 50 days later came on the first day of the week so they're giving kind of reasoning behind this and then they say so this would be the new sabbath people who think that the scriptures should be the sole authority should logically become seventh-day adventists and keep saturday holy i mean my goodness i mean they're putting it out there they're saying look if you want to be a bible christian and you want to be again awesome scripture and you want the scriptures to be your only guide and rule of faith in life then really there's only one option and that's become a seventh-day adventist christian and keep saturday holy but my goodness we have people out there that's like oh you know seventh-day adventists they're a cult they're this they're that but my friends at the end of the day we have to be honest either we're going to be a commandment keeping people keep all of god's commandments or we're not and that is the issue here we're talking about we have one more here i want you but before we read the one more i just want to say this they said that it's not from any directions noted in the scripture when you think about this god wrote the ten commandments with his own finger on stone and he put them inside the ark of the most holy place the ark was his throne the the commandments the stone represents the permanency they were under the mercy seat on the throne of god mercy triumphs judgment but the interesting thing is this is the foundation of god's government it's his law of love and liberty it is not it's meant to give us guidelines so that we can have an abundant life now and life thereafter now it was moses who wrote the old covenant the book of the law and put it on the side pocket of the ark so don't think the ten commandments were the old covenant they were not but here's my point if god wrote with his own finger if he spoke if jesus supported it throughout the jesus told his disciples pray that when the destruction of jerusalem comes that it's not on the sabbath well that shows clearly that he expected them to be keeping the sabbath after he died if jesus if scripture does not say anything about changing i mean jesus had to die on the cross to pay our penalty for breaking the law of god james says break one break them all that's right so it's it's not you just get to smorgasbord choose what you want they're linked together because it's from god that's right so how can a man how can a system a religious system say we've got authority man yeah nowhere in the scripture does god give his church or any created being for that matter authority to change his word i think cardinal james gibbons gibbons cardinal james givens he's a he's a very popular cardinal in the history of the catholic church but i think he said it best i'm going to leave it let me leave this final text or this final quote on we're going to put up on the screen here listen to what he says and it's so powerful he says reason and sense okay reason and sense demand the acceptance of one or the other of these alternatives either protestantism and the keeping holy of saturday or catholicity and the keeping holy of sunday and i love these last three words here compromise is impossible my friends let me let me just say this very clearly and i'm going to let shelley give her final thoughts before we close compromise is impossible god wants your whole heart and if he equates love you're loved by how you obey him and honor him in keeping his commandments how can we only keep some of his commandments and think that we're going to show him and honor him with our love right as she brought up very clearly james 2 verse 10 says you know if you offend yet in just one point of the law you're guilty of all in this sense my friends i also want to make this very clear compromise is impossible but i've also heard a lot of people say that the mark and i'm speaking to my church at this point sabbath keepers who believe in this truth i hear a lot of people say sunday worship is the mark of the beast in fact i read it today online somebody said the mark of the beast is sunday worship let me clarify this that is not true if you say that sunday worship is mark of the beast then what you're telling people is god rejects their worship on sunday and that's simply not true we should worship god every day when i get up on sunday mornings i'm blasting the music i'm worshiping god monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday every day i'm worshiping god because god deserves our worship every single day now that i've said that now that i've made it clear that sunday worship is not the mark of the beast there's only one biblical sabbath and this is what this issue is over over god's holy day is his seventh day sabbath and that in that there's only one true biblical sabbath day and it's what god says it is jesus christ is the creator only he can declare what the true sabbath day is and the rejection of the bible sabbath and the acceptance of the counterfeit sunday sabbath that is the mark of the beast and here's what i just want we'll go right down to the last minute no one has the mark of the beast yet what is going to happen a final crisis will come on the earth and universally people will ask for sunday observance and there's going to be it will be legislated listen to this revelation 13 16 and 17 he causes all both small and great rich and poor free enslaved to receive the mark on the right hand or on their foreheads that no one may buy or sell if they don't have the mark or the name of the beast see the bottom line is about loyalty and the day is coming the pope's latest encyclical he's calling for sunday law he's saying hey our earth needs a rest there will come a crisis on this earth and the commandment-keeping people of god will be persecuted that's right but so this is why you can't say yeah i believe that sabbath but i'm going to wait till the sunday legislation comes then i'll keep it no because if you won't keep it now you're not going to keep it when you're facing persecution the bottom line is loyalty to god the bottom line is worship according to god's true worship the first angel's message and that is what it's all about it's a decision you've got to make now oh my friends give your heart to jesus obey his word be a bible christian that's what this is all about the mark of the beast issue is over worship who are you going to worship who is your lord today who have you made lord of your life yourself the world this beast or have you made jesus christ lord of your life revelation 14 12 i'm going to read a couple of texts here in our closing moments revelation 14 12 here is the patience of the saints here are those who keep the commandments of god and have the faith of jesus and then i got to give this last one here last chapter of the bible revelation 22 verse 14 blessed are those who do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city in revelation 18 3 the loud cry goes out that god is saying come out of her verse 24 84 18. i'm out of her my people that's the loud cry out of her my people give your heart to jesus christ surrender your life today my
