but the winds that blew across the green fields of Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin I coveted that wind I suppose [Music] [Music] our story begins with the molding of this magical universe by the three golden goddesses back then in the era of creation did the goddess of power Nehru the goddess of wisdom and fur or the goddess of courage created the red earth gave it the spirit of law and created life forms who would uphold the law of this world with their labors complete the three golden goddesses departed back to the heavens bestowed a whole new relic the triforce in a care of goddess hylia in many ways the origins to the suffering of the human precursors of the hylians and the Gerudo can be traced back to when demon king demise with his army invaded the surface and forced goddess hylia to evacuate the humans of the surface and the triforce up to the sky goddess hylia then defeated and sealed demise in the sealed grounds but knew that in order to wield the omnipotent triforce she had to give up her divine horn and be reborn as a mortal eventually highly it was reborn as zelda the daughter of the headmaster of the sky lofty and Night Academy que porra on the 25th anniversary of the Academy's founding two key Academy students stood out as favorites in the traditional winged ceremony Zelda's childhood friend Lake and the local bully groose issues trading with the hylians including timeshift stones this business was lucrative for both sides the time stones time-bending abilities were of interest to the hylians while for the Gerudo they were way of enriching themselves and keeping their province for the small areas of fertile land and water sources where crops could be ground water could also be extracted and timeshift stones mined by robots a good piece of evidence showing the mining business along with the connection between the Gerudo and hylians is the ocarina of time which hyrule historia confirms was likely crafted from the time stones at the same time it appears that Gyarados stayed away from highly in Affairs such as when chica interlopers attempted to seal away the Triforce and were then banished to the Twilight Realm through the mirror of Twilight's the same goes for the hiding of the Triforce in the newly constructed temple of time and lavinius the Sacred Realm the memory of the Triforce slowly faded away after the descendants of first Link and Zelda founded the centralized and highly feudal kingdom of Hyrule the Gerudo likely had no interest in setting up a similar class society but the one of a more genetic arias were the Gerudo began to differ besides cultural ones for example developing unique alphabet from the hylians this is shown as the Garuda adapted to the burning climate of desert by developing a darker skin color than that of hylians however increased isolation from Hyrule would soon come as a great cost the few time stones from the error of the sky couldn't stay active forever and slowly but surely all of them lost their ability to reverse time and with it the few fertile areas of llanera were consumed by the growing deserts and wastelands the only exception being a little prior male Gerudo as the early mastered magic wielding was intelligent coming skilled on the battlefield and most importantly ambitious unbeknownst to Ganondorf he was demises reborn hatred unlike previous Gerudo kings Ganondorf was determined to end the misery his people lived under and saw that their allegiance to the Hylian crown didn't bring any benefits quite contrary it was an obstacle to expansion into fertile territory after being in the middle of the crossfire of the Goron and Zorawar the sheikah likely rebelled against the ongoing war and the increased Hylian influence over their territory this must have been a natural ally for Ganondorf who's certain of victory withdrew his fealty to the king of Hyrule and sent his forces where they likely besieged the fortified Lon Lon ranch pillaged Hyrule Field prior to reaching Kakariko village where Ganondorf and the leader of the sheikah rebellion likely agreed to a military alliance sheekha rebel warriors with ganondorf's iron knuckle Knights & Gerudo warriors must have been a prospect that made the king of Hyrule finally put an end to the war between the gorons and the Zoras it was at these troubled times from the hyrulean civil war of countless eras ravaged at its worst that the hero of time was brought by his mortally wounded mother to the Lost Woods and kokiri forest shortly after this incident the war was finally quelled by the king of Hyrule and likely his goron and Zora allies resulting in the unexplained disappearance of the sheikah tribe the unification of the lands under the kingdom of hyrule and finally Ganondorf the king of the Gerudo thieves was forced to swear fealty again to the king of Hyrule humiliated by the hylians Ganondorf began in secret to plot against the royal family seeking the spiritual stones to claim the omnipotent Triforce this one however would require detailed planning and rebuilding of trust from the king of Hyrule the great Deku Tree da Rooney ax the Goron patriarch and king zora de bon the sixteenth for close to a decade Ganondorf would remain loyal to the king and dedicated to the well-being of his own people though this was just a facade set up by the king of thieves to deceive the king of Hyrule and his own people from his true intentions a few years later Ganondorf set his plan in motion but to his great disappointment meant opposition from the great Deku Tree darunia and Zora Dube on the 16th when he requested the spiritual stones angered of this arrogance after many years of mending relations he decided to plague all three of them and then exploit the courage of the young child from the Kokiri Forest and the naive heir to the highly enthroned Princess Zelda Ganondorf knew what he was doing and just waited for link to collect all the spiritual stones with the final stone in Link's possession Ganondorf staged his long-planned coup assassinated the king and a number of his guards and this is working in Dorf second-in-command the young Nibiru had enough and began plotting behind her evil Kings back teamed up with the hero of time at the spirit temple just to be trapped and brainwashed by koume and kotake for the next seven years with the unintended aid from the hero of time through his ocarina and the Master Sword Ganondorf had finally cleared his path to the Triforce however as the king of thieves his heart and soul wasn't balanced he only claimed the Triforce of power while the Triforce of wisdom and courage split apart still the Triforce of power was more than enough to turn hyrule castle town into ruins expel the survivors to Kakariko village and take over Hyrule as the king of evil for seven long years however as the self declared ruler of Hyrule Ganondorf feared only one thing the return of link as the chosen hero with a Master Sword in his left hand when Link's return was confirmed he destroyed the bridge leading into his town infested the temples of Hyrule with the Phantom of themself resurrected the Goron consuming volvagia a water draining amoeba an evil spirit from the Kakariko well and gave the task to koume and kotake to make sure that his servant nabooru would not turn against him of the hero reach to the end of the spirit temple link lifted all of the curses cast by ganondorf's great magic and the Triforce of power and awoke the sages who had likely been murdered by phantom Ganon Livadia Morpha and the ganondorf's likely ally from the Civil War the beheaded sheikah rebel Bongo as for the Gerudo they started to act strange after the brainwashed Naboo Rou returned and began turning the entire race against everyone with the exception of Ganondorf as one of the carpenters put it when Naboo Rou was a lone wolf thief she never stole from the weak but now Naboo Roose gang of thieves stands for cruelty and brutality she claims to be a chivalrous robber but no way the Gerudo Thieves had become highly hostile even toward carpenters who wished to join their cause this attitude first changed when link arrived freed all the imprisoned carpenters and impressed snob use a second-in-command who granted him membership in other words the hero of time single-handedly mended the relation between hylians and the Gerudo and allowed for the repair of the gerudo valley bridge from here he was granted passage to Gerudo desert where he crossed the Haunted wasteland to the desert colossus and the spring temple instructed by sheikh he then returned the master sword and then back in the past as previously mentioned he teamed up with Nibiru to find the silver gauntlet just a witness her captured through the usage of dark magic by koume and kotake link then traveled back to the future defeated a powerful iron knuckle claimed the treasured Gerudo mirror shield and finally faced kaboom a and kotake and another iron knuckle who after a brief skirmish turned out to be the brainwashed Nibiru finally free ganondorf's second-in-command was once again captured by kuma and kotake however it is likely that after that they and then twin rova were defeated and killed after 400 years of tormenting the Gerudo with their black magic Noboru though likely deceased was awoken as the stage of spirit and together with the other sages contributed to first building a bridge for link and then broke the barrier to the higher floors of Ganon's tower after Princess Zelda with the Triforce of wisdom was kidnapped by Ganondorf the king of evil as link entered the organ hall at the top of Ganon's tower the Triforce of power wisdom and courage resonated these toys are too much for you I command you to return them to me the battle for the Triforce and the future of Hyrule and the Gerudo commenced in one outcome the hero of time took on Ganondorf but failed to strike him down was destroyed in a confrontation the triumphant Ganondorf extracted the Triforce of wisdom from Princess Zelda the Triforce of courage from the corpse of the hero and transformed into the demon king man dragged Ganon [Music] faced by this horrific sight the seven sages led by the adult Princess Zelda as a last resort sealed the demon king with a complete Triforce in the sacred realm the Master Sword was laid to rest in the temple of time waiting for a new hero to pullet an Hyrule's hour of need peace returned to Hyrule but ganondorf's takeover had exposed the location of the Triforce and greedy individuals found their way into the corrupted realm where they were transformed into monsters and included and again it's growing army could it be that most of these were Gerudo that despite all the evil some were still loyal to their former king it is quite possible and as such this also possible that they upon turning and de monsters took part in the imprisoning war against the Gerudo who became loyal subjects of the king of Hyrule Gerudo vs monster Gerudo one loyal to the race and the other to Ganon this clash might have resulted in the destruction of the Gerudo as we know it no doubt the Gerudo presence in Hyrule as a separate race was definitely put to an end following the imprisoning war when the Gerudo became extinct or migrated from the land of Hyrule let's remember that the Ganon who was lain Tisza stronger by the hero of legend was no longer at Gerudo but a demon who never turned back into his Gerudo form in this timeline branch the end to the Gerudo in the downfall timeline could be pointed to when comeon Kotick heir after turning into twin rova sacrificed themselves to revive a brainless Ganon who had absolutely nothing to do with Ganondorf this however was with the exception of demises hatred which would continue to plague Hyrule through cannons next revive forms in the outcome were the hero of time first defeated Ganondorf and then Ganon Zelda and the six sages sealed him away in the Sacred Realm where he then turned back into Ganondorf he swore to murdered the descendants of the sages with the Triforce of power which was still firm in his grip the defeat of Ganondorf was sinner by all races and Hyrule including the Gerudo at Lon Lon ranch as the race was at last accepted by the rest of Hyrule inhabitants after Naboo raised contribution to the great victory over Ganon / Ganondorf after hundreds of years in the sacred realm in the adult era Ganondorf once again turned into Ganon and successfully broke the seal that the original seven sages had cast full of rage and anger he sought vengeance against the hylians and the descendants of the goddess and the hero this led to a bloodbath without equal and forced the incumbent King Daphnis no Hansen Hyrule to seek intervention from the golden goddesses with the great flood being its ultimate consequence but were the Gerudo still around at this point yes and they also survived the flood setting up a new life as pirates in a new fortress a clue confirming this comes from tetra or if you prefer princess zelda of the era of winds herself when she talks about the forsaken fortress what I know is that long ago it used to be a hideout of a no-good group of pirates we used to compete with could it really be the case the I like symbol looks like an evolved form of the Gerudo crest and the location of the forsaken fortress is you guessed it in the top northwestern corner in the era of the Great Sea then what happened to these Gerudo pirates most of them likely died after refusing to cooperate with Ganondorf after he turned back to his former self from his Ganon form and made it up to the fortress and those who didn't fall to Ganondorf splayed and magic most likely escaped far away from what used to be Hyrule to avoid Ganondorf at any cost as for Ganondorf he must have realized that his deep hatred led to the destruction of everything from Hyrule to his own people it was time to end the beast within and rather show a more human side to obtain as new goal use the Triforce to bring back the Hyrule he once ruled unlike last time where he intended to overthrow the royal family he actually thought that he was doing the people of the great sea a favor by bringing them back to their home Hyrule even so to prevent another defeat he went on to kill the sages of earth and wind to not be taken down by the descendant of the hero of time and the fully powered master sword at the first possible occasion with the thread of the fully powered master sword out of the way he began the search after the descendent of Princess Zelda by kidnapping young girls including tetra who ultimately swapped places with Errol from outset Island as Ganondorf had presumed the hero of the winds pulled the unpowered master sword and failed to strike him down well aware that next time he would have to face him and the fully powered Master Sword he kidnapped Zelda to be careful to believe Ganondorf yes he might have some remorse and might be slightly sympathetic but deep inside he still bears to mises deep hatred and goes back to his murderous instincts as soon as his wish for a resurrected hydral is denied remember Ganondorf in the adult era of the hero of time ruled Hyrule once for seven years with an iron fist then on the other side it appears that he wished the best for his people ever since his first attempts the civil war this first conflict gave his tribe an opportunity to escape poverty and perhaps he saw it possible to for the poor souls of the great sea we will never get an answer to ganondorf's true intention as the hero of the winds killed Ganondorf by piercing his skull and turned him into stone with the master sword hyrule and with it Gerudo lands were washed away this month the end for Ganondorf and though some individual Gerudo pirates still roamed the water of the race and society was all but gone then how did the Gerudo survive until the error of the wild the child timeline since the return of the hero of time to relive his childhood resulted also in the Triforce splitting and with it no one knew where or who the Triforce of power went to even so link warned the royal family of ganondorf's planned coup and shortly after departed Hyrule with Epona and the ocarina of time what happened next was that Ganondorf avoided arrest and instead mobilized his Gerudo army for war to take the Triforce by force the gerudo-hylian war to be precise the king of thieves his aim for this armed conflict was detailed by the ancient sages in the era of Twilight he was the leader of a band of thieves who invaded Hyrule in the hopes of establishing dominion over the Sacred Realm he was known as a demon thief an evil magic wielder renowned for his ruthlessness unlike in the Civil War Ganondorf would unleash unspeakable terror and suffering as he and his well-trained Gerudo warriors approached and burned down long lon ranch and then besieged and conquered the ill-prepared Hyrule Castle town here they thoroughly searched for a way into the Sacred Realm from the temple of time to claim the Triforce when this failed Ganondorf likely destroyed both the town and and set his aim on conquering the rest of the land making a long story short this failed and instead Ganondorf was defeated in battle and then likely exposed by Nibiru who disliked his violent ways the clue to this backstabbing is a quote from the sages of the era of Twilight in all of his fury and might he was blind to any danger and thus was he exposed subdued and brought to justice to make ganondorf's humiliation complete the sages will not only execute the King of Thieves but also build a horrifying prison and execution site over the most holy structure to the Gerudo the spirit temple several years later the arbiters grounds was complete and Ganondorf was finally sentenced to death by the tide and executed but then the Triforce of power resonated and kept the former Gerudo King away from death filled with rage Ganondorf rushed out and killed the ancient sage of water witnessing this crime the panicked sages utilized the mirror of Twilight to banish Ganondorf to the Twilight Realm however the failure to execute Ganondorf was kept in secrecy and to keep it this way the Gerudo were forced into exile who knows perhaps to terminal where Gerudo pirates could be found in great bays pirate fortress Ganondorf malice form hood after some time find a new servant since he no longer could use his own powers Ganondorf would grant some of his power to Zant this way he could overthrow Midna the princess of Twilight and then invade the kingdom of Hyrule force Princess Zelda of the era of Twilight to a humiliating surrender and covered the entire land in Twilight at the same time Ganondorf would make his way back to Hyrule Castle where he would after sealing of the castle wait for the hero of Twilight and Midna despite possessing zelda and turning into dark beasts he still couldn't prevent the hero from finally putting an end to the Dark Lord in a decisive sword duel in Hyrule Field upon being pierced by the master sword Ganondorf rose up one final time and then passed away standing as the Triforce of power disappeared from his hand with Ganondorf gone Hyrule would finally experience an era of peace again and since the reign of the Dark Lord was conclusively over the Gerudo were allowed to return but from where according to Hyrule encyclopedia from nowhere as they didn't move anywhere after being thrown out of the Gerudo desert the Gerudo were driven out of the desert altogether but found a new home in the desert of doubt since Ganondorf final defeat to the hero of Twilight the Gerudo worked hard to foster a more positive relationship with the hylians condemning the actions of their former leader there was only one tiny issue demises curse a few hundred years after the first ganondorf's death another Ganondorf was born into the Gerudo tribe in the shadow era and he quickly grew to become a serious threat you only need to listen to the words of the Gerudo elder of the tent dwelling nomads to understand but this child its heart grew twisted with every passing year the child became a man who hungered for power at any price this statement is supported by different Garrett o nomads the villages in a bit of an uproar contending with a man who broke our laws we can't do much for you but make yourself a home the law the Gerudo is referring to is that nogueira dough are allowed near the Pyramid of power naturally since Ganondorf went there he was expelled from the tribe though this didn't bother Ganondorf as he was fueled of demises hate aim to usurp the power of others and cover Hyrule in darkness and he largely succeeded with this plan when he first claimed the Trident from the pyramid of power and then the Dark Mirror from the lost woods then he went on to use the mirror to summon a shadow link who tricked link to pull the four sword and Revati from his seal though this was just a distraction as ganondorf's main goal was to use the Trident to transform the Knights of Hyrule into demons and then make his way into the dark world there after transforming as a Ganon he was finally defeated and sealed a full sword by the four links however the Gerudo and Ganon timeline in history doesn't end here as tens of thousands of years after the events in the shadow era an era of decline the Gerudo once and for all distanced themselves from Ganondorf / Ganon they stood with the hylians in the fight against the mises curse and the one male guard oh who had plagued the tribe since the first hyrulean civil war this paid off as the Gerudo became the closest friends to the royal family of Hyrule and their chieftains were selected to pilot divine beasts Vanna Boris to battle the worst form Ganon took after an endless line of incarnations calamity Ganon fitting name seeing that Nibiru was the first Gerudo who opposed and took the highly inside against Ganondorf and through these actions saved her tribe from the same fate that awaited their king it is unknown how many times the Gerudo supported the princess and heroes of Hyrule in their battles against calamity Ganon but what we know from the ancient scrolls is that a little under 10,000 years after the last successful battle against calamity Ganon the Gerudo society flourished like never before following countless generations of peace close relations and friendship with the royal family of hyrule the merchants would have to settle for the minor Caracara bazaar on top of this the Gerudo traveled more than ever to Hyrule and often stayed there as they found husbands and settled in the kingdom for good the increased migration and mobility of the garuda was possible thanks to good relations with olive high rules races but also seal surfing which allowed for quick and efficient transportation across the vast desert this one could be used to quickly reach the edge of the desert and the monuments and temple commemorating the seven heroines this likely depict Nibiru and the latter Gerudo champions of the divine beasts all of them central garuda figures who opposed cannon Dorf Ganon or calamity Ganon the Gerudo were proud as never before with a strong and wise chieftain lady or Bosa to the queen of Hyrule whose early death had a great impact on her Bosa left behind and under greater and greater pressure was the young Princess Zelda who her Bosa saw as her responsibility to that Gerudo chief couldn't serve as a surrogate mother for all eternity unfortunately for lady herb OSA her time witnessing Link and Zelda growing closer to each other was cut short as she following calamity Ganon's attack was trapped inside divine beast Varna Boris and killed by thunder blight Ganon here after the fall of the kingdom of Hyrule her soul would wait for Link's return so that she could fulfill her promise that Princess Zelda luckily for the Gerudo they escaped the horror of the guardians who were not able to reach their lands the only casualty besides the emigrated Gerudo residing in the kingdom of Hyrule on that day was their chief war Bosa other than that thanks to Zell to stand against calamity Ganon the Gerudo for the most part escaped the calamity and sustained no material damage the highly lucrative Hylian market was gone but in its place came a new one from Hatano who had escaped the calamity and the corrupted Guardian spanx to link zelda and the brave defenders of for a 1001 hundred years past in the awoken link returned to Gerudo desert used the old cross-dressing Trank to sneak inside dorado town and meet lady reeju the current chief of the Gerudo here he was busted and nearly punished by her personal guard billy ARA but after realizing that he was the last remaining champion from a century prior they instead tasked him to retrieve the Gerudo heirloom the Thunder helm that had been stolen by the eager Claire this one was likely stolen to prevent read you and link from accessing the enraged 'no boris and instead of force a confrontation with the Hylian champion in their hideouts when this failed and master coca was defeated by his own cockiness link and reach you made their way to new boris and Link finally free lady her BOCES spirit obtaining her vocês fury and the eternal respect of the at first skeptic Gerudo so much so that they granted him lady our BOCES scimitar of the seven heroines and Daybreaker shield link and lady Ricci in particular became good friends as the Hylian champion feared all problems that the highly sophisticated civilization faced and seeing link as an old friend of lady herb osa she trusted him enough to allow him to borrow the Gerudo heirloom finally prior to facing calamity Ganon link would have a few more personal conversations before lady herb OSA fired off divine beast bandha Boris and did her part to weaken calamity Ganon prior to the party along with the deceased champions and the king of Hyrule after zelda sealed away calamity Ganon and was reunited with Lincoln and that concludes the troubled history and timeline of the proud but plagued by ganondorf's and Ganon's Gerudo we are certain that with their great comeback in breadth of the wild they have a promising future in the zelda franchise as the descendants of Nibiru lady herb OSA and Lady riju are likely to remain important allies of Link and Zelda in the future and then we will see if Ganondorf
