dynasty that will last a mid-weight you know what that sounds like a lot of work but if I just embrace it instead it's been about five hours since I've read battle round his trim by far the best battle royale for threat [Music] Nintendo's which PlayStation 4 Xbox one PC trash future of gaming is now app games did you just disagree that games are the future it's already happening fortnight mobile Puggsy mobile farmville probably that's a mobile game right no matter how hard you try right now you cannot escape battle royale games there's a seemingly endless pool of bootlegs and ripoffs out there trying to capitalize on the fortnight in pub G craze they don't even try like what is this what these are this fortnight screenshots unapologetically put on this app game it's the best game I ever played yeah I somehow doubt that I hate it I really wanted to play fortnight 5 stars it's free it's a free game go download it it just says fortnight I thought it was or truths oh yeah check my Wi-Fi connection yeah I know it works this game however does not fire collect resources build your forts gang games for not flat humans finally a game I can enjoy [Music] you got me game that's a download from me [Music] what all it is is a wave based zombie game what happened to collecting resources and building your forts not only is this not a battle royale game but it looks nothing like the icon like what gives all you do is shoot wave after wave of zombies it doesn't change it only adds more zombies does not even different zombies watch an ad to continue playing then what's the points the point is to trick people into watching ads ah yes the advertisement if almost these games are ripoffs clearly terrible and trying to ride the coattails of the successes of better products it doesn't take a genius to realize that these games are filled to the brim with advertisements we're talking going to the options menu equals a 30-second ad including what might be my favorite game ever made forts night last battleground car yeah this is more like it we're going up into the air and we're gonna make a drop any any second now probably any time now pretty soon now this is battle graham jumping out of planes parachuting down I got this I got this baby just gonna take it slow just gonna take it slow like really really slow apparently really I I think I'm stuck actually I think I'm stuck how do I laid on these truck doesn't make any sense [Applause] would good but no good game it's a good game no you're good no I'm not removing ads for money excuse me but what the heck is this game not only is it not a battleground it's a mission-based wave defense game you just drop find a weapon kill all the enemies amazing death sounds by the way what does it make any sense eh sometimes the game gives you a weapon but most the time you have to buy a weapon before you even drop and guess what you can spend real money on those weapons oh my god totally I should spend real money on weapons on this game where the AI sucks and there's only one type of enemy that's okay though brush it off I got other games to play like fortnight last battleground huh does this game have the same music what what are you looking at sir you over here is looking all spaced out oh my god missions I've got a bad feeling about this no no way oh my god is this exactly the same game sure it's exactly the same game I don't understand it looks like a totally different game on the store I mean just look at these screenshots and tell me I'm not crazy oh no I should've listened to Daniel Munoz he tried to warn us and maybe I'm giving this guy a little too much credit but when you think about it this is actually kind of genius he advertises the game and puts all these screenshots of like snowy levels in him would only did we take his other game and then take the gain slider and go yes that's a snow level by my new game do not you gotta remove the ads hey what's this hand doing job talk night battle royale mini arena survival anime edition [Music] wait oh my oh my god please god no it's the same game okay at this point I'm convinced that there's only one game on the App Store Lee skins of the same [ __ ] game fortnight zombie battle royale a zombie Edition cuz it's 2008 wait wait a second oh my guys they're just a ripoff James Bond song [Music] as you can expect the game sucks all this is a wave based zombie game you know at this rate I'm gonna get really good at parachuting oh no oh no that's a tree that stream can't get out tree until it's pretty obvious to me that these app game developers will do and say anything to get you to click on their game and download it fill the game with ads and get as much money off of it as possible it's almost like some new-age get-rich-quick scheme oh is this me I think I found me in the game please cut see we it's obvious that all you need is some catchy buzzwords like battle royale or battlegrounds and it doesn't even matter what your game is alright aren't you aren't you cold I mean it's snowing outside go away I'll be dancing this way so what about the games that actually live up to their name and our battle royale games in the sense that we know them oh my god you mean a game that isn't trying to trick me ultimate battle royale just need a good name and we're in alright we just gotta wait for some more players two hours late oh yes someone else is actually playing this game we're about to start the game oh don't you just love it when the mini theme plays throughout the rest of the game and there's no sound effects and your footsteps are picking up anything I've waited too long to play an actual Battle Royale at this point I'm hoping this guide yeah no matter what well it's been at least a solid 18 years of me just running around looking for this one other guy why did you pick the most annoying sound effects ever yes there he is oh my god we finally found him no no no you're not running for me you think you can too [Music] okay well I guess I win battleground royale yeah straight to the point hey we're not gonna criticize the fact that it looks exactly like Babaji now that's more like it spending money on skins that's the 49 model we love is this actually gonna be a battle royale game I mean it's like I've been tricked so much I don't even know what's what anymore yo ho snap we're actually dropping into a battlefield and it's actually bad booyah let's go we're dropping all right this time I mean business I'm gonna get some weapons and I'm gonna get to killing wait wait a second why are all these people standing here he's just blindly running towards me are these robits you noticed before but all these people in the lobby they think they're all robots they're just wandering aimlessly what's the point like why would I actually spend real money on this if I'm just fighting AI I mean I think occasionally you can find a real player but does it really matter when the game is saturated with robots and to make matters worse those robots will use different skins again trying to get you to buy more skins I've been tricked I've been bamboozled I feel like an absurd Rick and Morty all right we were lied to they just want the money they want the money wait season 2018 grand battle royale is this the same game did one of them steal from the other or do they just release seasons of this game I'm confused guys doesn't matter I'm out for blood uh-uh I got it sucka gotta reload hold on is there a reason that all these guys use the Minecraft aesthetic when making these games did they literally just go and download skins from like a Minecraft skin database and like throw them into a battle royale I mean at least this one has real players in it so it's got that going for it oh oh oh there's guys I'm gonna hide behind the sexy what a stupid idiot he doesn't even know I'm here I'm about to ambush him like the majestic Venus flytrap what stupid idiot alright it's time to go back into stealth mode you never know when so oh there's someone right there we gotta get up come on we can do this we can do this that's right I'm the best battlegrounds this time I won't let my guard down mark my words this is a bad situation whenever someone gets the drop on you you're at a terrible disadvantage I'm gonna try and reset the fight oh okay I'm gonna pull out my shotgun and we're gonna go for this right now what was this guy using a game genie [Music] can someone please explain to me what it is exactly I'm looking at there's that comment section have I told you how sexy and smart you guys are lately because you are oh you didn't have to click that sub button just for me yes your eyes are not deceiving you this is a real game a game in which you play Ugandan knuckles meme Battle Royale I mean there truly is a market for everything these days let's go honestly I don't know what to think like I'm sitting here playing Ugandan knuckles Battle Royale I've decided that's what I'm doing with my life honestly I think the problem is is I'm not running into any actual players it's all robots I'm not entirely sure how this game works maybe just builds a Lobby as much as it can and puts a lot of robots in there to fill the void but it does seem a bit disingenuous and named these bots specific usernames and try to get people to think that they're actually facing real people and we'll be honest though for a free game this isn't actually that bad oh my god is Ugandan knuckles meme game the best game we're gonna play today something like that there's a lot of different modes you can choose from in play like this castle mode that kind of reminds you have to for it in a way also I have a witch's hat now which I'm pretty sure makes me really good at the game [Music] when looking at a list of battle royale games you'll find that one company tends to have their hands in the proverbial cookie jar the most I'm talking about Nettie's I know I said it like that these guys have battle royale games all over the place at least for premium battle royale games from my count survivor royale knives out rules of survival and one you might have already heard of for craft well let's just take a little bit of a closer look at these games real quick I'm gonna put on my glass that's right from what I can tell these games are nearly identical to each other again that I put the most time into was rules of survival which I mean realistically it's just buff G it's a very royal is almost exactly the same game with nearly identical cosmetics I mean one thing that this game does seem to do right is his cosmetic stuff I mean Bob G's pretty bad with that but it's like come on man this is exactly like pop G the map looks similar you parachute down you land you start picking up equipment and all the things and killing all the players around you you basically have all the same weapons in all the same tiers of armor and helmets you pick up backpacks to increase your capacity you use energy drinks for a small speed boost and heal and then you go win the game cuz you have a 100% win rate ok well that's new I guess where I'm trying to say is remember when player knowing was threatening to sue the fortnight devs over the battle royale mode I mean that was obviously pretty stupid of him right he wasn't even the first to come up with that mode but I mean it's not really about the mode I mean you can sue them all he wants but the games play differently they're mechanically different they play differently they feel differently they look different but put rules of survival next to pub G come on man and definitely the only way these guys have gotten away with it for so long is because this Nettie's company is from China case in point for craft it looks like denticles a fortnight it has exactly the same mechanics every T is crossing every I is dotted I mean graphically it's made as closely as possible to resemble every single aspect of heart night including all the color-coordinated weapon rarities building up with wood stone and metal finding treasure chests and opening them I mean I think it's pretty obvious honestly and that's kind of the problem I mean even the name it's carefully calculated carefully crafted it's there to trick you well I for one will not be tricked for you see I am a professional 4/9 player
