[Music] well they're tire you what you buy with your choked edge on there we have a 1986 GMC one-ton 350 four-speed that's been sitting in a hay yard roughly since 1998 was the last time she ran under your own power and it's currently 806 and in four hours it'll be running so that's the challenge not even a big motion s behind it for the bottom ice and the smell in here so upon where do the odds in four hours it's running it turns over we cheated on that before we started the video just to make sure that we were gonna have a snowball's chance here but four hours to running and this is gonna be Rob's new whip now it's a GM this all know I'm about ninety seven point eight six five seven three percent sure Wow that if we can get it to turn over in the run she'll go right now if you hit the key nothing happens but we hooked a chain to it and pulled it in and it does spin over so it's not locked up Scott brakes pull the light switch all the lights turn on fan even blows oil tastes like oil there's something strange going on with their radiator situation because there's no cap a no juice in it and that is turns to dust when you touch it that's minor for episode one of this project is getting this to breathe fire again so yeah we're missing a couple hoses here and there but we don't need a tire tire II oh yeah oh it's just laying there hot in the driver seat all the mice eat the hose are they're hungry that's just for the heater you don't need that so we'll pull the hat off and take a look at the old carburetor and see what we're working with all righty see if we can kill so plunger wasn't long enough so we got a retrofit our screw here because this is different lengths so we got to put a spacer on each side so our screws are eight lengths because it's the rates Illinois but along your body starters so well get her to work ones just doing some nip and tuck over here with this copper copper spacer that's the face of determination right there great time but what no okay moment of truth does it work yeah there's opiate 10:35 will get her going we'll get it going there Chari yeah well that's minor details it'll run with most poop hantavirus never heard of on it that's where a lot was coming from after about five seconds of Loeb I was gone I think that was just built up gas running off the back here yeah it's gas it's see the curb needs re-build so we got two that are dead then possibly four that are dead so it's a four cylinder feet it runs though 11:11 high fives all around whoo 21 years yeah and it runs on four cylinders that backs it up even more Chevy they just won't die but that brings us to the next parts of what we do with the old girl now that it lives is it dead because spark plugs are no good is it dead in holes because of more more worrying issues [Music] yes but we know someone with an uncle who could get us a rebuild kit cheap great one so 350 pretty pretty easy doings runs Oh [Music] not too bad for your next thing to free yeah save it from the crusher it's got potential lady mouse Mighty Mouse how easy does it fire up again once it's been running know how easy you think she'll start again once it's been going just fired with what's in the bowls there and see what it does throws a rod like look at that first Frank are you know honestly I throw I'd throw plugs and wires out it maybe put her in distributor parrots in it a carp rebuild that carb for sure yeah but that's not a big deal and then see how she how she is cuz it's only got how many K on it a hundred and seventy three thousand kilometres yeah I throw plugs and wires and distributor parts at it I think she'd be I think it'd be good enough to be a run around for a little while anyway yep it wants to live runnin on four cylinders impressive impressive there we go I guess I better text Chris and tell her it's running it's not even the 11 or not even midnight yet four hours and she's going rights alrighty let's see your move a few feet till the bowls ran out of gas yeah you should be good ah battery is pretty to help no she's good it even spun the tires turn your lights on oh oh oh she's running out of gas ah [Laughter] it drives Oh [Music] you got her in low oh come on you old sow rights look at here gold you're turning on the bowls awesome dude I can't see in the dark whoo we need a real challenge next time I guess they need one that's been sitting for 40 years yeah there we go you get a 6-litre that'd be a challenge no you know what the challenge is for next time the next one when we hit 20,000 subscribers well she lives again we picked that truck up for basically free save it from getting squished but I'm I've got money on a set of spark plugs that fix a lot of problems it's only running on about four cylinders right now but I and well they said it was running running good when they parked it and they only parked it because they ended up having kids and the regular cab wasn't big enough anymore that was in 1998 and it's been sitting since the hen in that spot so oh I think if a guy throws a set of plugs out it'll fix a lot of problems but if it doesn't it's a small-block Chevy and if they're a dime a dozen so a guy could just stab another one in there do a budget rebuild on the old girdle and throw some rings out of guide be able to do that in a couple days so anyway that's where it's gonna sit for now until episode 2 I don't know when that'll be but one day but yeah something a little bit different for the old channel there I hope you enjoyed it kind of a best I could think of as a thanks there for
