Trucking malt barley!

we're gonna auction probably and [Music] hey guys how's she going today well we're gonna start hauling some barley here and of course yesterday was freezing rain and now it's snowing so I'm sure the highways are gonna be just fantastic there's a Brandt green back behind me that needs to get fixed I better make sure it'll back into the Hat I see Antoine coming way over there everybody I'm gonna get myself situated here I got to open up the weather front on the international here or it'll overheat on me cuz it's not very cold out and when it doesn't have any airflow at all it doesn't take much for it to overheat when it's 40 below load we keep a drape shut and then in the morning it's here like this when when they are idling helps them retain a little bit of heat like that not only open to Elsie I might have to open all four of it yeah I go corner-to-corner because if you just open up the two bottom ones they're the two top ones it tends to make the fan want to lean so if you go corner to corner then it's even airflow through the fan so this guy here remember I made this weather front so we got a little door here to open that might not be enough but Antoine Oh fine note Mott look how nice and bright those LED lights are a movie anyway I'm gonna hit the road I guess so well talk to you guys again here in a little bit all those are working good there we go anyway talk to you in a minute suppose oh yeah look at that nice new radial rock and rock come and help put in here all righty let's hit the road well me and fawn both made our first round to the elevator on my way back here I just left all five or ten minutes ago from dumping at 614 bushels on here we didn't have her loaded rate grateful and 2.2% docket Jadwin had one percent on his load I had 13 percent moisture and I think they want below 14 for malt I kind of forget learn what they wanted drive for Byerly's 14 5 I think they want like below 14 or 13 and out we're laughing anyway but since it is kind of around and snowing the highways a piece of here as you can see for I'm not going to tie into that green ring yet like we'll do it tomorrow I don't want to leave it overnight with a tarp off and how it started snowing and like I said yesterday was freezing raining and they weren't calling for that and it did it anyway so we're gonna just haul out of bins for now and then tomorrow morning we'll haul out of that ring and then by the time the contracts done the only be a couple thousand bushels left in that ring so just easy haul out into another bin in the yard when we're done and we should be laughing anyway so that's the plan so I'm gonna keep just a bum and down the old road here and we'll talk to you and we're getting another jag on the oil girl well Antoine's gone with a load and I'm loading up again I'm a little we bit off center but that's alright I'm kind of enjoying this window in this box here too can watch everything so I'm gonna get a load on well talk to you when we're eat great up with another load of future by early it's really dry see and make a real big pile barley stands up even though it's dry and make a pretty good pile and then as soon as you move it kind of poof runs down so we'll make a really good one here and then I hit the brakes feel slosh forward that'll be good enough you feel a little better than 600 bushels again on there so pretty good Jake where we are in the bin here two rings on the front yet so it'll be heaped up pretty good at the back there'd be 700 in there yet give or take but all righty he shuffled down the tarp shut and hit the road well we're back again but at first they are only gonna want us to bring those two loads each or whatever but they told us to keep hauling so we got the freight liner loaded again and we're gonna do this truck after but it's dinner time and there's nowhere really to eat in between there and here so we'll have a sandwich and keep on trucking so octa given a few great one oh he's cold apparently [Music] [Music] pulled off more than I thought it would have [Music] or filling them as absolutely full as they can go because with winter weights on these roads right now because everything's froze looking at their chart at the elevator from the Saskatchewan government Highway Patrol and you can't actually overload these trucks right now with barley with its bushel weight so that's kind of nice so we're gonna loader eight for the nuts since they don't have anything to worry about apparently for weight so we should have a real good load on her here this time anyways so they're Antoine's going to show you his whole load here it [Laughter] there I'll roll the tire file you're standing there good caller 80 we're off to the elevator again and when we get back we're gonna set up the back and load both trucks up again for tomorrow so that I can get to the elevator nice and early with both trucks again beat the lineups oddly about three loads each we have to all tomorrow to finish the contract off and then after that whatever is left in that ring I'm going to transfer it into one of these bins here that we're hauling out or right now and then I'll see what I need for seed and how much is left and then we can go from there on what I have left to contra look at a roll call air the old cat we all create nur just like in there anyway the way we go again the Kuwait these roads are all year zoomed in yet just a black haze over here hope you can see that the camera or not there's no wins all the smokes just kind of lingering anyway [Music] can't spell without each ni well we got the bike para here at fair light and ones up ahead to be dumping there's a bit of a line up ahead of him but when I got here there is no one he was just pulling in to dump the soul fairly good timing but they bent one of our hoops on the freight liners box for the tarp there with their probe so Han Kuang come unhinged on them already inside told him to slow the down so they're gonna be decent about it and buy us a new one at least that's kind of surprising knowing how elevators usually work but anyway I'm gonna sit here until he's done there until the late tree up there tells me where to go it'll say move ahead stop backup left driveway or right driveway so I think we're or malt barley so we're all left driveway or eight now so and who don't see there you look a lot left driveway so I'm gonna drive ahead and wait for Tuan to finish cold if I don't sell it too far is too much for it apparently all tutus almost too much there you go baby well it's back to freezing rain again that's real nice I thought I wanted to show is or set in records here in Ely see that or not whatever at six hundred and sixty two point nine four eight bushels on that load a one-percent dockage that's the most of anything I've ever had on this truck so that's a pretty good load I've never haul note so that before it's all the only they might get farther than that with oh it's good heavy oats but oh man anyway I guess gonna get all mental talk do when they get there well back at the yard here but I thought I'd show you real quick so this is the ice build up on the truck from driving in this throat freezing rain here on this load break a chunk off of there look at that for you guys you don't have to deal with this fantastic stuff all over the mirrors are just thick with it well you can see it on the rod there how thick it is so the leading edges of the whole truck are just covered in that frozen ice here my old antenna was lean great back get that off before it breaks cuz it'll snap down ten off but anyway we're gonna get that auger out of the way and get the vac set up and get these loaded and we'll talk to you again then look at the hottie unreal nice nice to drive in [Laughter] and visa so no big naturally aspirated old 5040 anyway we're gonna finish cleaning up this bottom here the free line is full [Applause] and I'm loaded up and that'll
