HE IS protected from the deserved but violent consequences of being a vocal scumbag white nationalist by the fact that the person who punched him is fully prosecutable under the law. He actually says in this video, "you have to punish people for having certain ideas", he says it near the end. Astonishing that anyone who considers himself on the left should have such a casually authoritarian attitude.
Also, "a polite society is a fair society", completely wrong. If you go back 100 years or more the British ruling classes were unfailingly polite, but theirs was not a fair society, they ruled a vast empire with an iron hand and oppressed working people domestically.
Bourgeois manners in that case were a cover for something authoritarian, as they are in this section of the control left.
There's many, many other bad arguments here, but I'll just single something out; he uses as an example of free speech the extreme example of someone advocating for genocide. But historically genocides or near-genocides weren't carried out by someone just expressing his honest opinions about things, but by states. And yet here he is allying himself with the power of the state and the forces of law and order, as against individual conscience and expression. Time was when a liberal or a leftist would at least have hesitated before doing such a thing.
