they're so up themselves that's why the scots don't like them traditionally you know [Music] they say there's like a rivalry between scots and english what's your opinion it exists it's been there a long time yeah and they're okay as individuals yeah yeah there's a nation [Laughter] they're good attitudes okay a superior attitude to the world which is not deserved well in general terms i've not got a problem because my mother was irish and my father was polish so i'm scottish polish irish the only grape i have is when england got beat by argentina you know in the world cup and we the wee boy that died what was his name again who was the big guy from argentina the hand of god maradona he should have headed it and very they beat the english and they always go on about that for years and years and years and years but no problem in essence i don't have a big issue with this no english people they're all right for boris i just don't feel that animosity at all you know i'm friends with people across the uk across the world i have many friends in china narrow nationalism is just a very very bad thing don't mind them don't mind them the thing is sometimes the accent can get a bit irritating but by that you just live with it i think more of it is like a a joke nowadays but rather than anything else taken in good humor i'd say it's something you'd see more in sportsmanship nowadays during rugby games football matches but also taking in good stead i imagine there's a few folks on both sides that still take it to more i don't know if you could say it's a racial level but yeah i try not to see it that way i have only ever been treated with gracious kindness by the english and i despair that my countrymen can't see it i have a deep-seated affection and respect for the english and generally i found that reciprocated english people are absolutely fine yeah the only thing is the english they're so up themselves that's why the scots don't like them traditionally you know they think that they're superior but i've got no issues i've got a lot of english friends do they say that there's like rivalry between scots and english what's your opinion of it yeah i mean no i would say absolutely not right you know yeah he might find it but it's not something that there should be so where do you think it comes from oh it's historic as there's two separate countries separate separate cultures old battles to go back many many centuries i think now people should forget about that we are a globalized world we need to get on together we need to work together so it's very stupid backward looking damaging economically culturally socially the quasi-racial bigotry as if it was racial and of course it's not that we see at the moment seems to me to be uh misguided and destructive what's your opinion of english people well they're just the same as an olympus i'm a human being definitely well it's it's it's been a pleasure i could talk all night but i've got a date you know right catch okay am i on youtube [Music] you
