Trolly, Rank & Baccy arent just Scottish, used all over the UK.
Edit: Also 'Bevvy'
Just talk like a real guy
There's something about hearing the accent of someone who moved away from your town ages ago, that just sounds so off (like the Uncanny Valley effect almost).
Source: I'm from Paisley (Gerard's hometown).
Another Scottish video, with Karen Gillan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2rqm1KtGhY
My favourite Gerard Butler fact is that he went to law school on a full scholarship, got a job as a trainee lawyer (basically articling) and then got fired a week short of being a qualified lawyer because he was always out drinking at night, and then showing up to work late.
Half of these are North Yorkshire slang as well probably applicable to most of the North of England.
If it's spelt wrong it's Scottish if it looks like English it works for both, except 'jobby' that's all Scotland.
Ken isn't just used in the East Coast. We use it in Ayrshire too, which is only about 15mins from where Gerard Butler is from.
Calling some of these 'slang' is a bit insulting. They're just Scots words.
Your butt is out of the window.
