today god bless today i want to preach i want to speak to you on our central series um on something that's very very important the essential series is basically you know the things that we do as followers of jesus that we consider essential and and i think pastor michael opened up the series come on with a great message on priority right and and prioritizing the right things and then pastor wendy come on preached a great message spoke a great message on vision right and i want to i want to continue this series that i want to talk to you today on the topic of prayer on the topic of prayer it is so essential as followers of jesus that that we understand what prayer is and the essential part that prayer plays in our life i know that a lot of us even if you're not a follower of jesus you you have prayed at least once in your lifetime god help me i know that we have pray prayers and followers of jesus prayers of healing and those are good and prayers of deliverance and prayers for strength and prayers for help and and prayer i think is just intuitive in our human nature that we know there is something greater than ourselves we we can't articulate all the time and and maybe we we say well i'm agnostic i know something's out there i don't know exactly what it is or or maybe you have a belief system and there's many of them that that acknowledge a higher power but but it's not maybe jesus because innate in every human being i'm telling you we know it we know it in the depths of our being that there's something greater that we can see touch or feel that we created by god come on somebody for god and so i want to talk to you about about prayer what does it mean it's interesting that we are going to go into text right now about prayer and in the text you're going to see something very interesting about jesus and a disciple who speaks for the rest of the disciples so grab your bibles today and go to the book of luke chapter 11 verse 1. it says this now jesus was praying in a certain place and when he finished one of his disciples said to him lord teach us to pray as john taught his disciples now we're gonna go to matthew chapter six and and we're gonna pick up at verse seven so they're both writers writing about the same event but now jesus and matthew chapter six in the earlier part of the chapter deals with generosity he talks about prayer and now he says okay i'm gonna teach you how to pray and he says this in verse seven he says and when you pray do not heap up empty phrases as the gentiles do for they think that they will be heard for their many words do not be like them for your father knows what you need come on before you ask him so watch this verse 9 so this is it pray then like this our father in heaven hallowed be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil father thank you for your word speak to us today in jesus name come on one more big amen everybody amen thank you so much i i want you to take some notes today and here's the title of the message prayer to our father again we read that the disciple could ask jesus about a lot of things i think about being a disciple of jesus in his day and seeing a lot of things that jesus had done what would i ask jesus to teach me teach me how to do miracles teach me how to preach and teach teach me how to navigate family issues teach me how to navigate conflict teach me how to how to do a lot of things but this disciple speaking for the rest of disciples he says jesus teach us to pray so i got to define prayer so that we understand what we're talking about the definition of prayer in his simple simplest form is this how people talk to god it's so simple and i know somebody can say man this message so simple because i think religion complicates what god has simplified and so very simply what is prayer is talking to god it's communication with god there's different types i said of prayer but but a lot of us have heard common prayers you know those common prayers let me let me throw it out and i can see how come it is because you could probably end this prayer god if you get me out of this one i'll never do it okay how many guys have prayed that prayer raise your hand and don't lie in church okay right we all prayed that prayer right okay god if you if you do this for me i'll serve you the rest of my like okay god okay i drove i drove to state line and i and i got the lotto ticket god i'm telling you god god i'm telling you if i hit the lotto i will give a lot of money to you and your church right these are common prayers the problem with these kind of prayers that a lot of us maybe have been taught or we think this way the problem with these prayers is they're contractual not governmental religion teach us teaches us contractual it's like it's like okay if you do this i do that i sign a contract okay god god if you do that then i'll do this god but do you understand that as followers of jesus we don't pray contractually we pray covenantally a contract is needed to enforce something between two parties that may or may not honor the agreement a covenant is based on not a contract but it is based on watch me now the reputation of the greater one making the commitment in other words a covenant is based on jesus and what he has done not what i have done a covenant is led by the more powerful influential the most the most the most rich however you want to say it person when i come together the covenant it says this no no no you understand i am making a covenant with you in the biblical time it was this if i made a covenant with you and i came to you i was probably the most powerful influential i had a bigger army i had more money and i would come to you and i would say this now listen my friends are your friends and and and my and your enemies are my enemies what is mine is yours and what is yours is mine and you would literally cut a covenant in blood that could not be broken so you have to understand as a follower of jesus we are in a covenant we are in a new covenant we are in a new testament there's an old covenant and a new covenant you got to understand this because the prayer that we're going to talk about is the prayer to your father jesus is he's answering the question to his disciples and he's okay i'm going to answer your request of how to pray and what does jesus do jesus begins he says this he says i want you to pray like this now some of us grew up in a system grew up in a church where we would pray the our father our father which are in heaven hallowed be thy name like and you pray that over and over again you would go and confess your sins and then he would say okay you need to pray ten our fathers and you to pray come on somebody five hail marys full of grace lord is with you blessed you'd have to light so many candles because of what you've done now some of you are so bad you're burning down the church you're lighting so many candles to saint jude saint this saint that lighten this candle here light this candle there and if we're not careful what we do is we think by our many words and our many actions our prayer is going to be answered but that's not the way jesus said in fact the prayer that we call the lord's prayer is not a prayer that we should just pray haphazardly but charles spurgeon the great great preacher he said is actually a model of prayer not just the mode of praying so i don't just use it and just read it over and over again but rather i say this is a model this is what jesus trying to teach us and what does jesus teach us in this model what is prayer according to jesus what is the essentials i want to get across to you and to me it's very simply this number one he says i want you to pray like this our father our father point number one i want you to write this down point number one prayer always starts with the who first not the how. i don't know how many times people say pastor can you teach me how to pray teach me how to pray jesus did not teach them the how first he taught them who you're praying to first now this is so significant because if we don't get this right then our prayer is not going to be the right type of prayer notice what he said i didn't ever saw this before i never saw this i looked at it and looked at it again and i read a commentary i said oh my goodness it says she says i want you to notice this he says i want you to say this our father he didn't say okay this is how you pray pray my father it is our father what is jesus communicating he is communicating that we are part of a community it is not just a personal prayer that i have with god it's just a personal relationship with god no he says our father which means this we have a heavenly father if you're a follower of jesus and he's our father which means you're my brother you're my sister which means it implies relationship that you cannot do this type of of relationship with god the father by your self so what is jesus saying jesus says prayer starts with relationship relationship not trying to establish one he missed it put it up on the screen for him point number two jesus says prayer starts with relationship not trying to establish one when you're a follower of jesus you don't go to prayer trying to establish a relationship well god you know what god i know i shouldn't really be here god you know man i really messed up this week god i oh my god i'm not quite sure about this no no you're not praying to establish a relationship you're praying because it has already started with one it didn't start with you it started with jesus it started what he has accomplished it started by his shed blood and now you are made righteous not by what you have done but what christ has done that's why the bible says we are the righteous of god in christ jesus my righteousness is not based in what i have done it is based on what jesus has done for me this is so important why because some of us need to understand that he says our father i'm not praying to establish a relationship i'm praying because i already have one i have one when you're a follower of jesus you need to settle in your heart that i have a relationship with god it is a covenant relationship i'm not trying to establish something i already have one we are praying to our father jesus when it comes on to the same he speaks about god in a radical revolutionary way when he starts saying father it was never looked at like that before and jesus is coming and he says i want you to pray to your father to our father now why is this important because how you view our father determines how you respond to him and say it again and slowly for effect how you view notice that and say your father our father determines how you respond to him observe families siblings brothers and sisters having the same father but based upon their circumstance or situation with that father determines how they view the same father and man you could talk to one sibling man i had a great dad he was amazing he was this he was that taught to another sibling man he was harsh and he was this he was that why is important because how we view our father determines how we respond to the father i'm going to camp out here just for a few few minutes here because this is important because a lot of us we don't view god the right way we don't view god the father come on somebody the right way and so what kind of a father is is the image in your heart towards god the father is he vengeful is he is he vindictive is he is he judgmental because the problem with prayer isn't that you don't want to go to pray why would you want to go to pray to a god that you have a warped view to so in other words why do i want to talk to somebody that every time i talk to them it's always what i have done wrong and what i haven't done right and it's always judgment it's always condemnation i don't want to talk to a person like that and that's the way we have to be careful because we feel like every time we come to god he's always looking for something that's wrong and biblically i'm going to say something for some of you that is a little bit radical and some of you it's going to push back on you a little bit but when you come to god the father if you're a follower of jesus listen to me jesus has made you righteous and you need to hear what i'm about to say you cannot become any more righteous than you are right now because of what jesus has done mike already said it your sins have been forgiven they have been forgotten forever and ever and ever in fact the blood of jesus speaks of greater things than the blood of adam because adam's blood cried out for vengeance cried out god look what they did re take vengeance for me but the blood of jesus speaks of greater things what does it speak up it speaks of forgiveness it speaks of righteousness it speaks that now we have been made right with god because of what christ has done for us no i i i hear people the way they talk about god and god's gonna get you or okay make sure that you you confess all your sin okay just stop for a second right there i am not saying that we should embrace sin i'm not saying that you know what god's okay with saying that's not what i'm saying but let me tell you something you have forgotten at least one or two you don't have the ability because the bible teaches of sins of commission and omission there are some things that you didn't do that you should have done you don't want to talk back to me for a second and what we do is we become so introspective and we come it's all about me and then when we come to god we come with condemnation we come with fear we come with a trepidation because he's gonna he's gonna i mean you know how god no no that's not the way god the father is let me teach you something because we need to understand because in the very beginning of the book of genesis what happened well god spoke to a guy named adam that he created and he said listen i'm giving you all these trees to eat from adam and eve all the trees eat from and just don't eat of this one tree it shows that god gave them thousands of trees and only held one to himself it shows that god magnifies all his blessings he magnifies again all that you could do but there's only one tree i don't want you to eat from just this one tree you don't eat from so what does the bible say well we know what happens they eat of the tree and the bible says about 83 they realize they were naked and shame and condemnation came in to their life here's the crazy thing you know the bible teaches this the bible teaches that every every day in the cool of the day god would come and walk with them in the garden god would come and have fellowship with them in the garden and you would think that an all-knowing god he did know that they had eaten up the tree he did know that they disobeyed he did know that they did what he told them not to do what did god do he still came watch read the text it says that god came back in the cool of the day and that when adam heard him he hid with eve so there's god and he says hey adam where are you okay god doesn't ask a question because he doesn't know he asks a question because you don't know you don't really know where you are no no you think you know where you are but you really don't know where you are so god is like oh gabriel send a bunch of angels out let's go find him god came in your fallen state still wanting relationship with his son and his daughter and he came watched me not because they were righteous he came because he's righteous okay i'm gonna go here for a second nowhere in the text nowhere in the text we gotta go back to the bible i don't care if your charismatic pentecostal because scripture must interpret scripture i can't let calvin or wesleyan or some commentary interpret scripture i've got to let scripture interpret scripture and i cannot go with an american theology that's been based in americanized theology i got to go back to the original intent of the text and i got to look at it and i got and i looked at it over and over again and you do not see anywhere in the text that god uses condemnation or shame in fact it's not there what happened is is that they felt condemnation and shame why because they knew what they did was wrong god did not did not need to use condemnation and shame because that attacks every one of us god does not have to enforce what our heart is really going to do what god needs to come and say hey you know what you did i know what you did but i'm still coming after you this is the kind of father that i am i'm a good father i'm not a horse father i'm not trying to get you get you get you i am a father that comes even when you mess up see some of us we we haven't heard that some of us we push back on that because it's too good to be true okay let's go back to the text because jesus says crazy things like this he says you know what your earthly father's being evil what do you mean being evil he is using this contrast being evil compared to your heavenly father he says them being evil give good gifts to their children how much more will your heavenly father give good gifts to them that ask him now see here's the reason why i i said god and i've been thinking about this message and praying through this message and for the last few weeks because i could preach on prayer and how to do it and pray the word and pray and that's all good but if we do not get it right who we are praying to we will never get the rest right because we are so obsessed with the how we forget about the who we forget about the okay okay what kind of a father is he don't let your circumstances and situation dictate to you what kind of a father he is let the scripture begin to dictate to you come on what kind of the father he is he he is a good father he is a father if you could get a revelation that what he did for you and for me by sacrificing his one and only begotten son because he loved you and he loved me so much and it wasn't anything i did to earn or deserve my salvation it was all based on what god did and what jesus did on the cross over 2000 years ago and when you talk about stuff like this you talk about radical audacious grace you talk about stuff like this man everything starts going off in people and they start saying oh my gosh church lv oh they're embracing this and they're bracing hyper grace and they're they're embracing this i don't even i don't think you can even hype grace i think we have such a low view of grace that we actually call it hyper when it's actually normal okay let me say to you this way do you and i believe that i am righteous right now because of christ the bible says i am if my deeds didn't make me righteous then how can my deeds make me unrighteous okay yeah i know i know i know i know we are the righteousness of god in christ jesus i have been dwelling in sin in my life i'm not saying i won't ever sin i'm not saying that i don't struggle i'm not saying that we don't have temptation what i'm saying what i'm saying is the more you affirm who you are and who he is the more you see god the way god really is in the new covenant it begins to change the way you approach god and how you pray come on somebody to god he says he says our father your follower jesus we got the same father i know we don't look like each other i know we have different skin tones different upbringings different backgrounds but we have come on somebody the same father if we had the same father how should or how can racism exist in my heart how can racism exist in my heart because racism racism is systemic it's systemic in the human heart we will never get rid of racism until jesus comes and plants his feet on planet earth again but i'm telling you how we could get it get rid of it more and more and more is when every follower of jesus recognizes that we have our father and we're in relationship and now i don't judge somebody based on their skin color or based on some superficial thing i base it now listen to me that we are a family come on sister sledge we are family they got better theology than most christians you ever know something about family fam family can fight the most let me see this way family can hurt the most nobody can hurt you like your family don't shout me down now so the enemy he wants to try and split us and divide us and jesus is trying to teach his disciples he said let me tell you some of the prayers is it's our father because if you don't approach the father the right way if you don't view him the right way you're going to pray the wrong way it's not about how it's about who i am praying to and then he says something very interesting because no word in the bible is thrown there by accident they just didn't add it now there are parts of the bible where they actually added some things because it was too good to be true and so you could actually read in some of your bibles that it's not in the original manuscript the reason why is because when interpreting some scriptures it's like wait wait wait wait look this can't be true like like romans it says there is therefore no condemnation to those that are in christ jesus in the original text every text the original text you can look it up i'm not making this stuff up that's all it said but the writers they said no wait wait no no who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit no it's not in the original text why did we add that why did the inter the translators add that in the book of romans chapter 8 you want to know why because they could not believe that there is therefore no condemnation in christ jesus period okay you didn't hear what i just said there is no condemnation for those that enter christ jesus period but but we want to push back oh no no to those do not walk after the flesh but after the spirit it is not there the gospel is so audacious the gospel is so good the gospel is so grandious the gospel is so amazing that our mind cannot comprehend it that a god would say no in my son there is now no condemnation at all and god jesus says this he says he says he says i want you to pray our father and he uses these words in heaven why he just didn't throw it there just to i gotta i you know when you're doing a word you're doing a document they tell you it's got to be 1 35 words when you're doing an essay it's not that he's trying to fill up an essay he's trying to communicate truth he says our father he says these words look it in heaven what does that mean establish the fact it's our what kind of a father but he said he's in heaven so it means this that prayer is not just words that i speak or it's not just i wrote it wrong there prayer is not just words that i speak but a perspective that i have well what do you mean he said heaven prayer now is i'm coming to god the father i have been made righteous through the son i now view god the father the right way so now i run towards prayer not away from prayer prayer is not problem-solving prayer is me establishing and understanding more my relationship that has been given to me and so now the more i pray the more i get to know my heavenly father now i have more confidence i can come boldly to the thought of grace and obtain mercy in time of need he is your heavenly father so can i just let me define it to you this way our prayers should not be earth to heaven they should be heaven to earth okay let me back up are you guys learning something i'm trying to do this i'm a little rusty i haven't done it for a few weeks i'm riding a bike again let me break it down do this way there are two men in the bible significant man there's adam who's called the first adam and there's jesus who's called the last adam all of us were born into adam the first adam the first man according to first corinthians 15 47 the first man was from the dust of the earth or he was from the earth the second man is the lord jehovah speaking of jesus he's from the realm of heaven so what does that mean when before i come to jesus i'm in a system that has trapped me in an earthly realm so now i live my life by what i could see what i could believe what i think is possible and plausible but when i come to jesus i come out of adam and i mean jesus and jesus is now a heavenly man in other words now in jesus we can see everything from heaven's perspective which is based on trust not understanding so now jesus says crazy things i know with men earthy perspective things are impossible but with god come on heaven's perspective all things are possible jesus is the very beginning establishing the fact that he is the father that is in heaven i have a question for you are you still praying prayers that are based from heaven from earth to heaven are you still telling god how big your problems are are you still so caught up in the possibility of what you're facing are you gonna begin to say i know my problem is this i know my mountain is big i know what they have said oh but i got something better i have a heavenly father and my perspective is god i'm praying that heaven would invade earth right now could it be that we don't see enough miracles because we tell god how bad the miracles are instead of telling the problems how big our god is when's the last time you just defied everything inside of you when's the last time you defied logic when was the last time you said i know i feel this way i know it's hard for me right now i know i don't understand it all but you know what no i'm in christ i'm in jesus and now i pray to a father who is in heaven and you see mountain i see your mountain let me speak to you mountain mountain you may be bigger than me on this planet but you're not bigger than jesus you're so tied into the earth that we forget about there's a realm that is greater than this round let me tell you this if we believe that we live for eternity then this time on this planet is a single grain of sand on the seashore and we spend more time learning about the earthly realm when the bible talks more about the heavenly realm it talks more about who you are in christ and where is jesus you know where jesus jesus is in my heart i get it but let me tell you where jesus really is go to the bible let the scripture interpret scripture it says that jesus is seated at the right hand of god the father right now in heaven you know what he's doing he's not preaching you know what he's doing he's not he's not he's not worshipping you know what he's doing he is praying he's interceding and here's the prayer the prayer is oh man lord let let let my sons and daughters realize who they are open up their eyes to the new covenant open up the eyes to the power open up their eyes out to what they really possess let me tell you how we know we're praying from from an earthly earthly perspective we beg beggars are earthly bound but when we start understanding nope i'm going to be heavenly focused now we don't beg we believe i don't need to beg god my god you know i who i come to prayer 6 30 at green valley with all these men every sunday been doing that god for now about eight weeks god i read my bible every day this week god i even i haven't started cutting out some netflix those i shouldn't be watching anymore and what we do is we add up all the stuff that we are doing to reinforce ourselves to feel better to come to a throne that we think is based on works it's true do you want to know why it's true because i find myself struggling with that oh man i had a great week god oh prayer is going to be good you gotta get more than ten percent you catch that did you put on a ledger come on god you laugh but it's in the human condition to earn and deserve something jesus told so many parables and some of them were about god the father you know the the prodigal son is not really about the prodigal son it's about the response of the father because you know if you know the story and i said this over and over again but biblically speaking if you did what the younger son did to the dad in jesus day that young son is saying i want you dead i really have you dead i want what you have i don't even care about you he could have been he could have been excommunicated from his family he could have been ostracized from his village and from society but you know what the father did the father gave him what he asked for i'm gonna tell you this sometimes god will give you what you ask for he'll give it to you knowing is not the best he'll allow it to come knowing it's not the best because you want to know why because some of us some of us well i just want to learn by experience you're a fool i want to learn from somebody else's experience i want to learn from out somebody else's scar i'm going to learn from somebody else's tragedy i don't need to put my hand on the stove on the fire oh yeah it does burn it's okay i just need to see see that scar yeah i put it on fire i won't put my hand on the fire you know the story writes god hey i'm not worthy and all this and the bible says and the father saw a son from afar off which means that the father was looking for him to come home not to judge him not to condemn him every morning that that that hebrew father that jewish father will be coming out and the whole the whole village will be going he's a disgrace he's this he's that but the father was looking for his son no condemnation no fear retribution my son's home what kind of a view do you have this is this see see i'm gonna continue part two with prayer because this is so essential but i'm telling you i was i was talking with god i'm talking with some friends i'm reading books and i'm saying god where have we missed it god is waiting for you to pray he's waiting for you to commune with him well you know pastor when i get when i when i get to the when i get to church i'm going to pray you know pastor i'm going to pray on 6 30 on sunday mornings but you all should come tomorrow morning and pray with a few hundred men here it's going to be amazing and that's awesome but prayer and the lord spoke this to me in the last point because i'm going long because i haven't prayed i haven't preached and by the way pastor wendy says she preaches short she didn't preach short she pitched for 40 minutes last weekend how do i know i'm a law keeper she preached i saw it on the timer she just said i'm done bring the musicians up that's just fake because you think she ended but then she goes 20 minutes you call it fake pastor she calls it smart lord spoke this to me and the band could come up as i'm finishing today are you guys learning something can i say to you this way prayer then is not a particular place here on earth but a place in heaven what i mean by that oh pastor i i had my i i had my place of prayer where is that oh it's on the beach well your place is not really a place in the earth it's a place in heaven that you happen to be at a beach you happen to be in your bedroom you happen to be in your car you happen to be at the church you happen to be in your living room you happen to be with some friends you happen to be by yourself but there's only one place of prayer it is not a particular place on the earth but it's a place in heaven how do i know because the book of hebrews begins to share with us this eternal place this eternal perspective and you need to understand what this means put it up please if we could the book of hebrews today because it's so important that we actually read this and we actually understand what it means and when i'm talking about this place hebrews chapter 4 and says this so we then we must cling to faith to all we know to be true for we have a magnificent king priest jesus christ the son of god watch this who rose into the what realm the what realm come on help me the what heaven around for us and now sympathizes with us in our frailty watch he understands humanity for as a man our magnificent king priest was tempted in every way just as we are in conquered sin watch this so now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned to where love isn't thrown to where love is enthroned to wear judgment no condemnation no fear no to where love is enthroned to receive mercy's kiss and discover the grace we urge that they need to strengthen us in our time of weakness there's nowhere in the text does it say i come with fear and god and no no we come freely why another translation therefore we come boldly the throne of grace therefore because of what christ has done every time i pray i could be at a beach but when i pray i'm at the throne room i might be in my car but the place i'm praying come on it's at the throne room i might be in california i might be in nevada but the place that i'm praying come on somebody is the throne room and what i do i come boldly into the throne room and i obtain grace and mercy in time of need [Music] the devil so twisted us in prayer he is so messed with our theology so mess with some of us that the reason why we don't pray is because we have a warped view of god the father we have a warp view of ourselves we don't understand it's all about the who before the how how would you pray if you knew you had a heavenly father that loved you unconditionally that knew all your stuff like he knew adam and eve and he still came how would you pray what about my secret sin first of all there's nothing there's no i don't know where we come up with this stuff there is no secret sin secret from who [Music] oh yeah your wife your kids but come on do you think god is oh what's the secret [Music] we come up with all this stuff i'm a father of three kids now young a couple young adults and one that is getting older i could tell when i'm overly harsh with my kids because i'm not a perfect father i guarantee my kids one thing they will have to see a counselor one day because your dad is human but you know the more i'm harsh to benaya or bella or bj the more distant we become the more loving approachable i am [Music] they'll come up to me and start talking to me hey dad hey dad and that simple though very very unrefined example if that works with an earthy father i wonder if we changed our view of god how much we would come because the enemy says how can you go you got to clean up that porn first well i just went there didn't i oh you got to clean that up first i'll clean that up first oh you got to take care of that first we have a faithful high priest i need to tell you something i said this to somebody recently because they brought the ten commandments everybody loves the ten commandments i get hit with that all the time what about the ten commandments i said man the ten commandments are right just and i mean yeah you know don't murder how many think that's a good one can you wave your hand if you're not waving your hand if they're not waving in the hand please move away from them right now i mean like like how many things like don't commit adultery come on it's a good one come on can you wave your hand i'm sorry i would have been faster than that yes yes i believe that one all the way [Music] i mean i mean come on folks don't lie of course [Music] but did you know that the ten commandments according to scripture the ten commandments are there as a standard of perfection that none of us could ever live up to you know what jesus did jesus you know what the law says right don't commit adultery if you look at a woman lust at her really jesus can you make it any harder because there were some pharisees that said we could keep the law because you think action is only thing that he looks for okay let's go there the law is a mirror showing you what's wrong [Music] man i got bags underneath my eyes i had a rough night last night oh i got a zit when's the last time you ever said saw a man or woman take a mirror and start scrubbing their face you say what's wrong with you bro a mirror can't take care of the blemish amir can't cleanse your face it only shows you what's wrong that's the law the law only shows you what's wrong but religion has made it that that's the thing that cleans you up okay okay let me go one more because this affects our prayer life i'm going long it's okay i had one come on [Music] watch this jesus a faithful high priest and in in biblical times i would bring a lamb to the high priest and the the high priest would examine the lamb he would never examine me if the lamb was perfect the sacrifice was accepted if the lamb was perfect i was forgiven [Music] he didn't check my ears he che he didn't check my crooked toe and my left foot he didn't he didn't see that i have big lobes and there one of them is longer than the other it's imperfection you cannot find where the priest ever inspected the man that was bringing the lamb because listen to me if the lamb was perfect and the lamb was accepted the man was forgiven i'm telling you we need to hear this more and more we have the lamb of god named jesus who takes away the sins of the world and watch me now god is not examining you anymore god looked at his son judged his son so that now you are made righteous in christ jesus that's bible friends that's bible let's go that's bible so we wonder why michael we you're so brilliant today when i was there when i met justin bieber and you were so kind because you got good seats and just because i just knew a few people and you know the right people gives you access if you know the right people it gives you access i knew the right people so it gave us access well guess what we know the right person his name is jesus and he gives us access [Music] see it wasn't benny perez that gained his access he didn't tell it right it's because i knew the pastor of that church and i said i know so and so oh they went in check with so and so because i could sign benny press i want the second row no way oh but so-and-so knows you because they know you you have access listen to me as long as the right person knows you you have access and you know them [Music] it was like oh my god just he was sitting right in front of me he's short [Music] he's handsome young could sing i i and it's all cool and i could tell you how i know him and i've had lunch with them a few times i could tell you all that and [Music] they're brag be like those pastors you know they start dropping names bieber denzel washington you know [Music] it's so funny why don't we start dropping jesus why don't we start dropping god the father why don't we start dropping i got access do you got access i got access why because i know the right person i could come to a throne room i could begin to pray and receive some
