- Today, we'll have our
cake and watch it too. - Let's talk about that. (upbeat music) - Gooooood Mythical Morning. Is everything cake? - Well, I think if you got
down and looked at cake on a molecular level, you have a very difficult time telling a difference between
cake and anything else, including you and me and everyone. - Okay I understand that. Really what I was getting at is that thanks to talented cake
makers and the internet, we're living in a cake matrix where literally anything can be cake. And today we're gonna
pull back the curtain, is the curtain here? I don't know, to watch the process of how some crazy cakes are being made. - And we're gonna play
the most competitive game in Good Mythical Morning history, so you can guess what it is. It's time for Mystery Countdown Theater Cake Build Edition. - Yeah today we're gonna be guessing what cake creations are being built by our friend Yolanda Gampp from the YouTube channel, How To Cake It.
- Yeah. - You've probably seen it, if not, you definitely should. Yolanda makes some
absolutely incredible cakes, some of which we're gonna be seeing happen right before our eyes in rapid time. So like I said, be sure to
check out Yolanda's creations on her YouTube channel and follow her on Instagram and Facebook. - As always the first person to buzz in and guess what cake she's making wins however many points
are left on the timer. If you're wrong, the other person gets a
chance to buzz in and guess. And then the loser has
to submissively feed cake to the winner, AKA the cake master and in some kind of time lapse which we never really
know what that means, but we'll-
- We'll do our best. - We will keep with the tradition. - You'll do your best when you lose. - Yeah. - I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not wearing a shirt. - Oh, I didn't notice. - Well, I went to get my lucky shirt from last time and you had put it on. - Yeah, early bird gets the shirt bruh. - But it's my shirt, it's my winning lucky shirt. - It fits me just fine. - So since you're wearing my lucky shirt- - I wanna win.
- I'm like you know what? I'm not gonna wear a shirt at all. And it's punishment for you to
make you feel uncomfortable. But at this point I'm discovering that I'm the only one who's uncomfortable. - Right, yeah. - But I got a solution. That's right, I got a
back up right over here. All right so. - Well you been keeping
shirts in that drawer? - Yeah.
- There's a shirt drawer? I didn't know all this time. - I got a lucky shirt right here. But it's same color, equally lucky. - That's how it works. - The redder the shirt, or the pinker I should
say I guess, the luckier. So that's a little more lucky but- - I don't understand the logic here. - Even more lucky. - That's definitely just red, that's red. - And then. - That's burgundy.
- Most lucky. So yeah I'm going for this.
- Okay. - That's right, I'm going for it. - It's still big though. It's big, it's burgundy. - Take that, man. I out lucked you. - Well, we'll see.
- Let's play. - Oh, oh, oh.
- There's a lot of layers. - It's tall and it's-
- Oh, what so fast. - [Link] And that is red. Oh goodness, oh. - [Stevie] Oh Rhett, nice - That was close, man.
- Yeah so close. - Very, very close. Very close. I'm gonna go with a fire hydrant. - No, that's not my guess.
- Oh gosh. - Is that wrong, right? - [Stevie] Incorrect. - Okay.
- Link. - Gumball machine. - Correct?
- Yes. - Yeah, that's the base
of a gumball machine. - Yeah, there it is. Now Lando, Christmas before last, he asked for one of those. It's not worth it. - Huh, give it to me I'll give it to one of my kids. - For a price? - Okay Link, we don't have the score up here, but I think-
- That's five points, right. - You got five points. - Okay. Okay, starting early with this one. Oh.
- Rhett. - That's smores y'all, I saw a Graham cracker. - You're correct.
- Dang that was good. I actually was gonna
guess ice cream sandwich. - It was a Graham cracker. And then look at it.
- Man, that looks so tasty. - [Rhett] The detail. What is that? - Wow look it's toasted.
- Good gracious. - [Link] It's toasted. You took the lead there man. That was a big round.
- That was aggressive. Shirt still got something left. - Oh, okay.
- Still got some luck on it. All right. Always starts as a cake. - What in the world? Oh.
- Rhett. - I think it's a lobster. And I'm gonna be more specific. Can I be more specific? - [Stevie] I will let
you be more specific. - A crab.
- Hold on no, hold on. That is a change of answer. You can be more specific, but that's it. Be more specific with the lobster. - I got so specific with lobster I went to crab. - So you're not you're abstaining? - I mean my guess is, if you're saying my crab guess can't get- - No, that is not a more specific lobster, that is a different animal. - Lobster is incorrect.
- Okay. - Link.
- Okay. Crab. (Rhett laughing) Can I be specific?
- Correct. - Correct crab. I was gonna say Sebastian, was he a crab? - [Rhett] Oh, look at that thing, man. Whoa.
- Oh God crab cake. Oh, I get it. - Oh, but I would not want to eat that. I mean in soft shell crab, I'm afraid of those too because isn't that just the whole crab? - Yeah fried. When it gets fried, it gets different. - I'd rather eat that. - Okay.
- I mean, we tied it up. - So you're saying that lobster is not more specifically a crab. Is that the anatomical, biological, anatomical-
- Yeah that's- - Zoological determination today? - Stop cheating.
- You're right, okay. I gave you the answer. I should have just not said crab. - Yeah there you go. Okay, starting with cake. Oh, oh, oh, oh, what - [Stevie] Rhett? - You're always buzzing in early. - Well, I think it's gonna be a sandwich. - [Stevie] More specific. - I think it is going be
a hot dog is a sandwich is a podcast that kitchen does. - [Stevie] I gotta give it to you. - Seriously? - [Stevie] I have in my notes, it's a hot dog which is also
a sandwich it's on brand. - [Rhett] There's a hot dog definitely. It was an opportunity for
a promo for the thing. - That's fine, you know
what you buzzing in early and then you're thinking for a while. - No, no, I knew it was a
hot dog from the beginning but it was a promo for our podcast. - Okay. - A hot dog is a sandwich, I mean. - I'm gonna try to use his strategy. - Those were hot dog buns. - Of guessing something really general and then having to get more specific. I need something though.
- Whoa oh that. - You, again.
- Rhett. - I believe that this is a rocket. - [Stevie] Incorrect - Believe. Yeah, this is, what in the world? Oh.
- Link. - Shark. Great white shark. Jaws.
- Correct. - You don't have to be more
specific unless she asks you. Shark, great white shark, jaws to be specific. Steven Spielberg. - That does not make me hungry. Did I mess you up Morgan? I hit the thing 'cause I was
pretending it was a microphone. - Yeah, keep doing that. - Still losing, but it's okay. - It's a competitive game.
- I'm gaining on you. - It's a competitive game.
- Red shirt beats pink shirt. Come on shirt. - [Rhett] Burgundy shirt. What in the world? - Ooh, this one's very angular. Oh gosh dang it, I know this one. - It is a Chinese takeout box. - Correct. - Hold on, that's not what it's called. Oh, that's not a bento box 'cause that's- - I was about to say. I'm waiting for you to tell
me what you think that it is. - [Link] Oh man. What is the rice made out of Yolanda? Yolanda? - [Rhett] Cake, it's cake rice. - How did you make the rice? That's crazy. - [Stevie] Devin is saying
that it's rice crispies. - Devin knows a lot. - All right so nine minus two is seven. - It's anybody's game man, anybody's game. - Okay. - Oh turning it sideway.
- What in the world? What is it? - [Stevie] Rhett? - It's a big old tooth. - [Stevie] Correct. - That was my guess too. I'm just that much behind you. And Ugh. This one is oh, oh, come on. Rotting molar cake. - Okay, wow man, you know what? This shirt really is lucky. You know, I feel bad about
stealing it from you. - Yeah, I went too pink. - You went too dark. Yeah, you're you're in burgundy territory, that's our high school colors, man. That's Harnett Central
High School up in here. - It ain't over. - You're right, you're right, it's not. There's three more. - Up, up, up.
- What in the world? It's filled with something. - [Link] We're not getting anything yet. That's the problem, I'm not. I have no ability to. - Link.
- You got it. - Pancakes, or as my daughter
said when she was little, cake cakes
- Yep, that is right. - [Stevie] Correct. - So don't say that is right. Like you're a competitor. - [Rhett] That's what I mean. - [Link] Oh look at. - [Rhett] It's funny how, I would've thought that the
whole thing was pancakes but she just revealed that
only the edges is pancakes. - That's all you need man. - And really none of it's pancakes, it's all cake. - Giant pancakes to be exact. I'm hungry again. I'm hungry for a win. - Okay, well you can still make it happen. Oh, oh. - [Stevie] Link. - It's a black ball of some sort. Oh, I'm gonna say the death star. - [Stevie] Oh no, incorrect. - Okay, I'm going with
another "Star Wars" guess, the BB, BB eight or whatever it is. The more modern ball thing. - Correct.
- Oh no. (Rhett laughing) - Dang it. I was. - Yeah.
- Oh gosh. - [Rhett] I was thinking death
star too, but I wasn't sure. And when you said death
star and got it wrong I was just like, that's
gotta be BB Eight, man. It's definitely "Star Wars" territory. - She is so good. I've already lost because
there's not gonna be 16 points. - Right I mean, if you can
get it before nine, you win. I'll feed you the cake as your cake boy. - All right, but you know what? - If you can get it at nine. - Can you still block me? - No, I'm not gonna go before nine. - I don't care if you block me. If you want to try
before nine, that's fine. - Okay, okay, okay. Well now it's at eight. (Rhett laughing) - Here's the problem, I
was looking at the number, I didn't even look at the cake really. I barely looked at the cake I was literally watching
the numbers go down. - I was like, well it's about to, there it goes we turned eight. - And even though I was
watching the numbers go down I was still late. - Well, what's your guess? - Red velvet smooth and undulated. Lips. Big lips.
- Incorrect. - [Rhett] Okay, let's see, let's see, let's see, let's see. - Oh
- Wait. - What, I have pride. I'm still trying to get some points. - Is that how it works? It goes back to anybody, I thought- - Oh yeah I'm sorry. - [Stevie] No that's not how that works. - I forgot I couldn't buzz. - I was about to buzz, and I'll buzz and say brain. - Incorrect.
- Oh. - Link.
- I'm gonna say a heart. A big cake heart.
- Oh that's good. - [Stevie] Correct. - Too little too late for
the Linkster this week. It's the shirt's fault. - Yeah, man. I still feel bad I took your shirt. But you know now that it's mine and- - [Link] 31 to 20. - [Rhett] Now that I put my stink on it. - That is nasty. Yolanda, you know what, you know I applaud her
for doing nasty perfectly. Like grotesque. - Okay. Can you move this? Can you just move the
chair out for a second? 'Cause I would like you to
approach me like my cake boy. I mean, it's not me. Listen, I have to hand
this to the lucky shirt. I feel a little bit guilty
for stealing it from Link. It's not skill, it's luck okay. - [Link] Okay, so it's slow mo. - Cake boy, it's cake time. (ladies giggling) Getting pretty low. (ladies giggling) - I don't look at the cake boy and I don't look at you either. - I wasn't looking at you either. - Cake boy, please
don't drop it on my lap. - Did you get it?
- Thank good cake boy. That's enough cake for now. Thanks to cake boy and
