What are you going to do when He lights you up

just want to read in Luke chapter 18 today bless your bishop Luke chapter 18 it's a very very very familiar text I preached from it up many many times but sometimes it's when we preach from a text a lot it becomes dull in our hearing so every now and then you just got to ask God to touch your ears to hear touch your eyes to see touch your spirit to receive something fresh that is on the pages in the book Luke 18 if you have it say man we're gonna begin reading in the I normally would preach out of this text and I would take it from verse 35 but I want you to back up look at somebody come back up just for a minute we're gonna go to verse 34 and the Bible says and they understood none of these things and they're saying was hid from them neither knew they the things which were spoken and it came to pass that as he was come nigh into Jericho a certain blind man sat by the wayside begging noticed what he did he set by the wayside begging and hearing the multitude passed by he asked what what does this mean and they told him that Jesus of Nazareth passes by and he cried saying Jesus what I want you to notice right here is is how much time lapse between verse 37 and 38 they told him Jesus of Nazareth passes by any cry look at somebody tell him don't don't leave a big gap if you hear Jesus is near open your big old mouth he didn't ask anybody another question he didn't try to speculate he just heard Jesus was passing behind he cried what did he cry Jesus thou son of David I know who you are I know that you can have mercy on me I know you can heal me and of course as he cried people that were around him began to rebuke him told him to be quiet but here's what he said about that he cried so much for a great deal thousand of David have mercy on me and Jesus stood and he commanded him to be brought unto Him and when he was come near he asked him saying what would the whole that I shall do unto thee and he said Lord I may receive my say that I may receive my sight jesus saith unto him receive thy sight by faith I think I think by faith by faith in other words you could have done this a long time ago the one about me coming here it was about your faith I faith is what made you that faith is what saved you that faith is what made you whole and immediately somebody say immediately he received his sight and he followed him glorifying God and all the people when they saw it gave praise unto God and immediately he received his sight he sat in darkness but when Jesus came by he received his sight everything changed every anybody ready for just a radical ridiculous God change in my life I mean I wanted to be God okay if it's gonna change I wanted to be him but I really wanted to happen if that's what he's ordered for my life he sat in darkness one minute the next minute he was in light look at somebody on your right and say neighbor what you gonna do with the light I know you're used to being in the darkness but I'm what I want to know is what you're gonna do when he turns on the light look at somebody on your other side and say neighbor what you're gonna do with the light but something's get ready to change in your life I sense it somebody's getting somebody's getting ready to experience a change of radical change who is it who is it who is it what you don't do with it when it hits you the Spirit of God I honor you today and I thank you for your word I love your word it's a lamp to my feet it's a light to my path I live by this word I thank you for sending your anointing in this room speak what you want to speak do what you want to do your God we humbly yield ourselves to you talk up in this place seize this moment God say what you want to say and we'll give you things in Jesus name Amen and amen on your way down hit somebody on both sides and say what you gonna do with the life what you're gonna do with the light what you gonna do with it last Sunday Pastor Travis came up in here preaching and giving us the word and he talked about disruptive faith y'all remember that he blessed this houseless last week about that's right let's thank God we don't want to ever take nothing for granted talk to us about disrupt all the while while he's preaching to us about disruptive faith God is disrupting his entire life turning it upside down but that's where the best sermons come from I said that's where the best sermons come from we don't know what always like to go through stuff but you can't preach faith if you've never had to use it hello I said you came to preach faith you can't talk about a faith that you've never had to use and expect it to bless somebody's life matter of fact if you ain't never had to use your faith I don't even want to hear you talk about faith amen cuz you don't have a clue what you're talking about but he talked to us about the disruption of faith and he talked about how that in in in our world that there were things that there were like we were all established with blockbuster everybody had their blast blockbuster card and and on Fridays everybody go get a movie at Blockbuster and and and the Netflix came along and they disrupted blockbusters world and a lot of things happen computers huge big computers were awesome and then all of a sudden they were at you're able to get that on your phone now you got a handheld device and and you can pretty much get everything you need on your smart phone if you don't have a smart phone oh Lord sometimes our phones are smarter than us we got smart televisions now I have a smart television in my I'm gonna be honest my television is way smarter than I am because all I need is to be able to say I want you to go to ABC right now CBS but no we have all of these things it's just that technology is just zooming and it's overtaking the world but with it with everything that comes there is there is somewhat of a disruption it disrupts our normal and so whenever we hear the word that there is a disruption we think well there's a ruckus there's a there is an uproar there is an unsettling there is something that is loud that is taking place when we think of disruption if somebody disrupt something at the movie theater we think well somebody is stirring something it's loud or whatever but but some things don't have to be loud to be disruptive I say they don't have to be loud to be disruptive because disrupt disruptive means stopping something from continuing as normal so if it is your normal to go in this direction and you decide you're gonna go in that direction you had you have just disrupted your normal it wouldn't hurt for you every now and then to disrupt your normal we are such creatures of habit we go how many of y'all go go home the exact same way every time when you leave church lift your hands see most of us do how many of you go to work the exact same way most every time cuz you got it down you know you ever in every second count so you got that down but we go we get gas at the same gas station most of the time we we are creatures of habit so if somebody wanted to get you they would know exactly where to find you but we it would do us good every now and then to just disrupt our normal it's not it's not always comfortable but it is a good place to be in when they walked into the sanctuary early this morning it was a dark space if I asked them to cut all the lights off now they would cut the lights off and it would get dark in here wouldn't be loud but it would be disrupted okay because dark darkness was ruling here but when somebody walked in here and flipped on the light darkness immediately had to begin backing up why because there was power that was in the room that was greater than darkness and it was called the light so darkness is interrupted by the light now if there had been no power in this room then the darkness would have continued to dominate but when the power comes in in it in in the room then darkness no longer has the ability to rule and terrain when when light comes into your situation you can you can walk into a place that is completely dark and as you're walking into that place because you have power things start to change before you ever get in the house hello or ever get in the business or wherever you're going because you are a child of the light and because power was flowing into this room this morning once they tap the switch darkness had to back up and light begin to take over light begin to disrupt every ounce of darkness that there was why because there was power and God said in the middle of darkness he said let there be and there was and God saw that he said let there be light and there was light and God saw the light and he said it was good and God divided the light from the darkness look at somebody and tell them now that's a good light light is good and we should never take light for granted and the Bible says that the entrance of the word brings light that's why when you come to the house of God you have to come with your spirit open you have to come with your heart open because as the Word of God goes forth and it gets inside of you it will start turning lights on and you'll see things that you couldn't have seen before some of you will walk out of here this week and see things that you couldn't see last week simply because you opened up your heart and the word came in and now the light is on the entrance of the word giveth light my soul was as dark as a pit that was until somebody spoke the word and the word lit me up the word lit me up look at somebody and tell him I'm lit by the word I am lit by the word of God darkness will always somebody say always it will always be disrupted by the Word of God the songwriter said at the cross at the cross where I first saw the light something about seeing the light will cause the burdens of your soul to roll away John said in 1 & 1 in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God and the same was in the beginning with God all things all things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made in him was life and the life was the what light of men and the light the light was the life the life was the light of men that were light there means the life was the knowledge of men we were in darkness until the light came and their knowledge came when the light came knowledge came and the Bible said and the light shined it radiated throughout the darkness and the darkness could not comprehend it the darkness couldn't stand against it the darkness couldn't fight it the darkness couldn't shut off the light once the light began to shine the light overtook the darkness because light is bodacious and light will get up in your face and light will shine until you have to put some sunglasses on have you ever been driving down the road and the light was shining so bright and you were like I can't even see that's because light is bodacious and it will get up in your face because the light is disruptive you ever been asleep and somebody walked in the room in the middle of the night and flip on the light and you're like let's what are you doing it's disruptive you ever been in the dark room really really long somebody flipped on the light and it hurts your eyes yeah you know why it's disrupted you how does that happen it happens because when you sit in something long enough you get used to it mmm yeah I said when you sit in something long enough you get used to it and it becomes the norm for you if you sit in darkness long enough darkness becomes begins to feel like it is normal in fact once you get used to darkness I can throw some light on you and it will shock you as to how you will see things and perceiving it can actually be very painful if you've been sitting in darkness why because your eyes have adjusted to the dark look at somebody and tell them don't adjust your eyes to the dark adjust your eyes to the light when you have sat in darkness long enough it can hurt you to see the things that you begin to see when the light comes on if you have been totally disillusioned to something or in denial about something you've been in the dark about it when you really where the light comes on and you see it for really what it is how many of you know sometimes that can be painful now that brings me that brings me to my text which is where I needed to be today because the man that we are talking about the Bible says he was sitting in darkness blind bartimaeus acts by the highway side and he was begging so what does that tell us it tells us that he has developed a low system now so he's developed a system to accommodate his dysfunction he has developed a little system to accommodate the condition that he is dealing with in his life now I'm not throwing shade on him and I'm not criticizing him because if the truth be told every last one of us under the sound of my voice at some point in our life have developed some kind of a little system to wrap around what is dysfunctional about us okay how do you know that pastor Brady because I know this about bartimaeus because the Bible said he was sitting on the roadside and he was begging so that tells me he can't function like everybody else in society he is limited his movements are limited he is dependent upon who's going to come and put a little change in his cup he cannot function and live like other people are functioning and many ways he is like the lame man who the Bible said that they took him every day and they set him at the place called beautiful so now we got a lay man whose limbs are twisted and a lay man who can't walk and can't function like the rest of society but they took him to he's got an ugly problem going on as his life so they took this man who had an ugly problem but they took him to a place called beautiful they laid him at the door of the temple they laid him at the door of the church they laid him at the place that he should have been able to get help they brought him every day and laid him there he was poor he was pitiful he was a beggar and his condition had reduced him to begging his condition had reduced him to living on the mercy of society he had no mobility but he did have a few friends and those things somebody say thank God for friends those friends took him every day and they laid him at the temple they laid him at the door of the church and they knew what they were doing they were not dummies these were smart friends they took him to the place where they knew that people were going to come in and out devoted people people that had compassion people that were dare to care people that had a prayer life they took him and put him in the place where he could be they could be moved by the feelings of his infirmity and it must have worked for him because they took him there every day so his friends had helped him build this little system around his dysfunction and now he's begging for change ohms anyone alms anyone he's begging for change because sometimes begging for change is easier than changing itself so but they built this little system to accommodate him and and what did not work in his life just just help me guys if you can get me to the temple I'll be all right take me take me over there to the church take me to the roadside set me up shop give me a cup put it in my hand and I'll sit right there and I'll work this thing until somebody has moved by what I'm facing I know it's not idea I know I know it's not the best way to live but it's it's normal for me I've been living like this so long it's normal darkness is normal for Bartimaeus not being able to see anything is normal for him lameness was normal for this man that they took to the gate called beautiful Lane he was just laying he was laying something in his brain was not connecting to his body and so he was lame he was just a lame man Bing being limited was normal that they they they he had been that way all of his life so he didn't even know what not being limited would be like anger is normal my daddy was angry that's all I've ever seen my granddaddy was angry I watched my granddaddy beat my grandma so it's nothing it's normal for me to just haul off and knock your head off it's normal for me to just be so angry that I turn into another creature I watched my dad do it it's normal hatefulness it runs in the family it's normal domestic violence it's been normal abuse isn't normal it was done to me I'm gonna do it to you being a quitter is normal or worse yet not even trying that's not normal we don't even try we're just gonna live with what we got so you make a decision to live your life sitting in your darkness because it seems normal but I tell you today anytime you settle for less than what God has for you you are sitting down in darkness you are sitting in darkness when you settle for less than what God has for you I would have felt better about bartemaeus if he would have been standing up because then at least if they would have said he stood up in his darkness that would have that would have at least appeared to me that he was at least trying to oppose it he was resisting it he was defying in it but but to sit in it to situate yourself in your darkness suggests that you are pretty comfortable with it and you don't expect anything to change look at somebody tell them don't be comfortable with less than I don't think they hurt you but tell them again don't be comfortable with less than it's dangerous to have low expectations I said it's why why would you want to have low expectations if you're not careful those low expectations will get lower and lower and lower and lower and the next thing you know you're not expecting anything and if you don't expect anything you will never get anything so whatever you do you better fight to keep your expectations lift it up look at somebody tell them there's no reason to settle for Less when you've been made for more you've been made for more why would you settle for Less we can never settle for Less when God has made us for more we have to be careful that we have to be careful in our lives and in our thinking that we don't get to the point where just surviving feels okay because if we're if we're not careful the very thing that we use to survive will stop us from succeeding hello oftentimes our survival instinct is greater than our success instinct I must say that again often our survival instinct is greater than our success instinct and because and and it's like that because I have to survive even if I don't succeed I've got to survive at least I can be thankful for just surviving and sometimes in that in that thinking in that way of thinking success loses its voice to survive I said success loses its voice to survival and if we're not careful survival will wrap itself up and it will say hi let me introduce myself to you I am success it will never get any better than this it didn't get any better than this for your mother it will never get any better than this for you or your children or your children's children I am survival this is your success and for some people they bought into that lie and now the goal is not to succeed the goal is just can I survive because if I survive then that is success look at somebody tell them something's got a shift in our thinking Jesus tonight have come that you might have life and not just have life but that you might have life more abundantly oh I'm tell you to expect God to do abundant things in your life don't sit in your survival stand up in spite of it and reach for success I preached this this text so many times and even when I preached it I thought every time I thought bartimaeus was the only blind man in the text I really did that's because normally when I read the text I am reading it from verse 35 on but I backed up today on purpose because I wanted you to read verse 34 because I'm hoping that it would cause you to see what it calls me to see and when I read verse 34 I came to a complete different conclusion Jesus had been telling and teaching the disciples the twelve disciples had been teaching them and he was saying to them if you if you're back up and read on up into that that chapter a little bit he said to them now guys we're on our way to Jerusalem everything that the Prophet said would happen it's going to happen he said the Son of Man will be handed over to the Romans he said they're going to mock me they're going to beat me they're going to spit on me they're gonna nail me to a cross I'm gonna die they're going to put me in a tomb and on the third day I am going to get up but that verse 34 said they understood none of it the message Bible says that but they didn't get it these were people that were walking with Jesus these were not just anybody these were the 12 disciples it's dangerous to go to church and get that close to Jesus get around it all the time watch it happen for other people but you not have a clue look at somebody say don't settle for that don't you settle for that in all of my getting get understanding the only word that really works for us is the work the word that we do not just the word that we hear we got to do the word and if we won't do the word it will work for us they thought that the message Bible said they didn't get it they couldn't make me the heads nor tails of what he was talking about these disciples were walking with God but they knew nothing about what he was saying so while I for years saw the blind man that was sitting on the roadside I never noticed the blind men that were walking do y'all see that the guys that were walking with Jesus were just as blind as the bartimaeus dude that was sitting on the roadside it's said to be so close and yet so far away when Jesus came into the crown when he came into the city there was a crowd they were loud crowd they were a disruptive crowd all of them were following Jesus because this is a moment in history he has set his face toward Jerusalem now there is a crowd that's following him and there they're quite disruptive they're quite noisy they were creating a ruckus and their ruckus was was messing up Bartimaeus as norm because usually his voice was the loudest all's anyone but here comes Jesus making a louder noise those that were around him were making a noise and so it it shook up Bartimaeus as norm and he turned to somebody said what what's what what's what am i hearing see there but there was something that bartimaeus started hearing he heard the Bible say he heard the multitude that were passing by and he immediately said what is what's going on see there ought to be something in us that when something sounds different when there's a different sound when there's a shift in the atmosphere when when it when it says if God just cracks open the heavens there ought to be a church within a church that's as whole we need to lean into that moment right there that moment that moment don't move don't move from that moment right there we there ought to be somebody there are to be a people within a people that says hey heaven the heavens are opening let's reach in and let's grab everything that we can out of this atmosphere they said to him he said what what is it and hearing but what I love in verse 36 and hearing the multitude pass by okay so he couldn't see them but he could hear them he was blind but he could hear well he couldn't see but he could hear see God is so good because he don't let everything go wrong at the same time somebody ought to help me thank God for that right there thank you lord thank you that you don't let everything go wrong at the same time you know what and I'm gonna say this right here sometimes we cry over what we lost because we think have we lost it o our miracle was in what we lost but it's not your miracle isn't what you got left his miracle was in his his ability to hear he could hear even though he had lost his sight he could still hear God sometimes you gotta take what you got and give God thanks for it and let what you got become more than enough stop crying about what you lost okay so you lost some things and you might have to cry for a minute but when you get your good cry out just wipe your tears and know that the same God that gave it to you in the beginning can be the same God that will give it to you again wipe your wipe your tears look at somebody and say don't you cry another tear about it sometimes that God will start stuff up in your life and make noise in your life just so he can disrupt your normal and you're trying to rebuke it and we're trying to tell the devil you are liar you are live let me tell you sometime God will come in and shake things up because he wants you don't understand I want to break up normal cuz every great thing I've ever done in your it's gonna be done outside of your normal tell somebody you better step out in Alma I know it's scary but you gotta step out at all they've gotta step out of normal let me tell you what bartimaeus when they're done it would have sat there all day he would have continued to beg he would have sat in his his affliction but I'm gonna tell you what he would have not done he would have never asked that question what's going on had he not heard the noise if you've been hearing noise in your life you need to stop and say Lord what's that what is going on you know when enough things go wrong you want to be able to say okay I'm okay lord I thought that was a devil but when I see all of this happening know that tells me you're up to something when I'm in stuff that I can't fix you're up to something oh god I don't know who I'm talking to but you're in stuff you can't fix look at your neighbor's head gods gotta be up to something in my life he's got to be up there cuz I can't fix this I can't straighten this out I can't turn it around I need God he's got to be up to something in what is that what do I hear what am I missing what's going I can't see it but blessed God I can hear her it's Jesus of Nazareth passing by it's Jesus of Nazareth Passover he didn't ask for permission he didn't say to y'all mind if I say something he didn't do any of that he just said Jesus thou son of David have mercy on I'm tell you to call him right now [Applause] I'm not waiting for your permission I'm hollering to the top of my voice he cried loud he disrupted everything that was going on around him Jesus look at somebody next to you tell him I could care less what you think too I don't care what you think I'm here the holler at Jesus I need a miracle in my house I'm tired of living at the mercy of whatever people put in my club I'm holla to every yoke is destroyed you never a burden is lifted to every cancer cell drives up i'ma holla until every block from Hell it's exposed look at somebody a holla holla holla you holla he'll hasten to you he'll hasten to you holler til it just run separately holla - leave disruption Norma holler till he turns the place upside down highlight your depression break to poverty brace holla actually disrupt Everett hey that's dish [Applause] [Music] Jesus Jesus Jesus I came to get his attention [Applause] he's here I'm taking a rich foreign holidays huh yeah me me see me over here over him I'm in America [Music] I'm tired of sitting in darkness I'm tired of being limited I'm tired of being lame I'm tired of being stuck in this little system that I have built my dysfunction [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] listen what it was working what he was doing which is look up it was working for her but it wasn't there was so much more that belonged to him what I want to know is what are you working right now that if you would just open your mouth and ask Jesus to come in and knock that Cup right out of your hand and say Lord I'm depending on you change it was shortchanging him from what God wanted to do so in this particular day instead of asking for alms instead of saying I need a handout he's done in Holland for cheese's cheese's now I know who you are I know you are you the son of David you got power to heal you got power to break this blindness off of my life I know who you are maybe other people don't know who you are and maybe those disciples whoever clue what you're talking about but I know you are me Harlan any muscle holid effectively because she got on somebody's nerves you know you ain't really Holland effectively until you got on somebody's nerves you know you are effective when people tell you would you just shut that up it does not take all of that just shut it up you ain't effective until somebody tells you that until somebody says shut up you're ineffective but Bartimaeus Holland he hollered until the men who were with Jesus got frustrated anymore so church people got frustrated at him cuz he was crying for a miracle you see that's easy to do when you don't need a miracle I'd rather my church be a neat little clean this is where I came to just say thank you well good go ahead you say thank you because while you're thinking him for what he's did fit he's done for you I'm thinking it because of what he's getting ready to do in my life I was getting his attention I'm hollering eyes but the funniest part about that whole text to me the funny thing is the ones who we're trying to shut him up they were blind too I said they were blind - that's the way it is though a lot of times church folk are blind one is blind on the outside the other supplied on the inside and now they're hating on him because they're getting on his nerves but the truth is they got the same condition at least he was trying to get some healthy his yeah they were upset because they thought he was disrupting the moment but the truth of the matter is he wasn't disrupting it he was seizing it I've got to have an I got to have it I've got to have it you understand I have been this way I can't live this way anymore and you're not gonna tell me he's here and didn't expect me to shut up are you I know he's here I'm gonna seize this opportunity look at somebody tell them you better seize that you enter seize it you better take advantage of it you better take advantage of it because I think what happened to yo holla I said it ain't gon happen till you holla sometimes you just gotta holla and if it ain't gonna happen to you holla then that means tell your neighbor the next move is on you the next move is on you down watch don't go I said the next movement on you [Music] [Applause] as long as you are okay to sit with your blindness in your darkness your life will never get any better but some of us have made up my mind now we're going for 20/20 vision I said wait one for 20/20 vision we're happy just sitting doctors shake somebody jello don't settle for less you are bad [Music] now hear me getting Jesus to stop he hollered until the Bible said one of the Gospel writers said in Jesus Stood Still so that tells me there is a level of clarity that was shut everybody around you down in the ears of Jesus but it'll lift you up he hollered until Jesus stood too now getting Jesus to stop at this junction in his journey was absolutely huge it was a big deal because he was on his way to Jerusalem the Bible said that he had set his face like a flint toward Jerusalem he is on his way to fulfill each fulfilling what his father I told him to do this is a wrap in his life okay he's ready to wrap this thing up and he will never pass this way okay church y'all better hear me you can never just take for granted that because God moved like he moved in here today that he will move like this next week - you better seize every opportunity that you have every time you feel the wooing and the drawing of God's presence don't put it on hold just seize that moment I think that blind bartimaeus know something that the blind man that had walked with Jesus didn't know maybe maybe he didn't know maybe he just sensed it but if you back up and you read verse 31 through 33 he'll tell you I'm wrapping this thing up and he says all right boys this is it and now the ones that he's talking to in verse 35 is that what I said first 3536 the ones he's talking to up there they don't get it but the blind man who's a little further down the road he gets it he didn't even hear the conversation you know God will cost you to know things that you that you know that you know that you know and you don't even know how you know why you know you just know does anybody know what I'm talking about part of me is just no and he sees that moment and he said Jesus thou son of David have mercy on me let me tell you what our biggest problem is how big is promise problem is we just keep thinking that we're gonna have another chance y'all better hear me so because we think we're gonna have another chance we just blow off opportunities and we fail to do what we know we should do you failed to say what you know you should say to your child because you think they're gonna be there tomorrow ask some of these mothers that have lost their children in these ridiculous shootings ask them if they had it to do all over again we fail because we we fail to position our heart correctly because we think we'll have another opportunity we assume that because that's a today that there will be a tomorrow that's a poor assumption he will never pass this way I can and the people who sensed it the least were those who were around him the most do y'all hear that I said the people so familiar the people that sensed it the least were those who were around him the most but now this man blind bartimaeus he could sense he could hear he could open up his mouth and he could Hollow in other words he used something that did work for him to throw up against what didn't work for him he couldn't see but blessed God he could open his mouth I don't know what is your limitation I don't know what you're so worried about that you your holy said I can't I just can't do that I I don't know I can't but take what does work for you and open your mouth he threw everything he had going for him against everything that was working against him you know what I can't see but I bet you a holiday and get his attention look at somebody next you tell him use what you got do you get what you want use what you got whatever you got that works for you use it whatever you got use it he couldn't see but he could hear he could sense he could holla and he could use everything that he had and he did until he made Jesus stand still anytime Jesus stand still I want to know the recipe what did you do to make him stand still think about him he heard he sensed he asked questions he hollered and he took what he didn't have which was it his eyes he took what he did have which was his voice and he cried out for his eyes and when he did jesus said here hold up please hear me today change he will not stand still for people who will not use what they've got I want you to look at somebody telling you better use it you better use it look in there pretty brown eyes blue eyes green eyes hazel eyes and tell him to time out for you just sitting on the sidelines you better use what you can well I'm not where I need to be and I I don't know I need to get better at it posture look at somebody tell them you better use it you better use it quit trying to be perfect before you use it swallow your pride lift up your hands open your mouth and use what she got to get Jesus to stand still he wasn't a prophet he wasn't a priest he wasn't the king he wasn't nobody a book in the Bible he didn't work any miracles himself he was just one man who use what he had that had made up in his mind I refuse to live another day I refuse to allow this poverty to affect my house and my family and this generation of my family another day I break it off of us today I break it off of us today I take authority over it today my children will it's sad to come into a church and hear the word and feel the victory Sunday after Sunday man go home and think that none of it applies to you because the enemy has wrapped you to sleep and now you don't want to want anything I dare you to take somebody by the hand and pull them up and say get your won't to back get you the enemy is after you won't to [Music] and you can talk about purpose all blindness so if I'd have been there I would have said when he said to Jesus I want it I want to see I probably would have said are you sure because if I hear you you got to change everything about your life because your whole life is built around your dysfunction your friends cater to you people put coins in your pot and you don't really have to change you just take their change I say thank you your whole life is built around your dysfunction but the minute I hear you boy you can't sit on the roadside and beg for money anymore come on y'all how bad do you really want change do you want it bad enough to say here take this world that I built and all of my support systems and shake it until there's nothing left but you because I don't want to be in darkness another day in my life and if I
