Well Clean Out Using Compressed Air Take 2

well I'm going to be cleaning up my well again it's been a few years since I did the other clean-out and a number of folks have asked me how this contraption works so I thought I would show you the business end down here this is copper piping comes up inside the tube maybe 1215 inches and then there's the appropriate fittings to attach the air hose I've also incorporated the second tube here air hose I should say up into a sanitary tee now the principle on which this works is Bernoulli's principle simply put Bernoulli's principle tells us that a liquid or a gas in motion exerts less pressure than the same liquid or gas that is stationary obviously the water in the well is stationary and when the air forces the water to move up the pipe the water has less pressure than the water outside of the pipe therefore water rushes up the pipe trying to equalize the pressure and as it goes up the pipe it's going to bring with it sand crap and corruption which is what I want to clean up now the whole thing isn't assembled yet as it goes down into the well I'll semble piece by piece and when it's in operation I'll continue with this video and show you how it works working as [Music] I'm gonna show you the can you pull it out just for a second really feel the sand okay to work better for the full head of water aiding in their pumping but son-in-law wanted to put all the sand my grandson sandbox so as a result all being pumped into his little turtle pool sandbox and once we drain the water out let it dry as you can see a lot of sand if it's no good we just won't let him play in it what if it's just sand and pebbles I had to make shift [Music] there's nobody Manning it right now it's still poking away I brought the hose right up to the top to make it easier to locate the foot belt or the end of it where I wanted it never fightin so this should be the end of this video
