cracks in brick cracks in block sticking windows or doors settling or sinking foundation it's a fact foundation problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps the weather extreme video for saturday february 26 2022 rain chances hang around through parts of the weekend before skies clear out and we have a very nice work week ahead here's what i have for you in today's video much of your saturday will actually be dry but will continue to have partly to mostly cloudy skies across central alabama a shortwave will begin to move through the area late into the day and through the nighttime and overnight hours showers will become possible over the northern third of the state by midnight nothing too heavy and no thunder is expected highs will be in the upper 40s to the lower 70s from northwest to southeast a surface low will have formed on the shortwave close by over central georgia on sunday morning that will continue to keep showers possible across the area during the day eventually the shortwave moves farther away and rain chances will come to an end before sunset highs will be in the upper 40s to the upper 60s from northwest to southeast ridging starts to set up and will begin to build over the southeast on monday that will bring plenty of sunshine and warmer temperatures to much of central alabama highs will top out in the upper 50s to the mid 60s the warming trend and sunny weather continues on tuesday as highs will reach the lower 60s to close to 70 degrees across the area same story on wednesday plenty of sunshine with highs in the upper 60s to the lower 70s we continue on the eastern side of ridging that will continue to bring nice and warm weather to central alabama on thursday highs will be in the upper 60s to the upper 70s we'll be even warmer on friday with highs in the lower 70s to the lower 80s underneath plenty of sunshine decent weather will continue on next saturday but a system will be building off to our west and will eventually move into central alabama and becoming stationary over the northern two-thirds of the area on sunday that will bring showers and maybe a couple of thunderstorms back into the forecast for now much of the instability will be over mississippi and back to our west so for now severe weather doesn't look likely at this point but that is often voodoo land as it is past our seven day forecast window highs will be in the lower 70s to the lower 80s on saturday and in the upper 60s to the lower 80s on sunday that's it for today's video and i'll be back on sunday morning with the next forecast video i'm meteorologist scott martin stay safe and god bless cracks in brick cracks in block sticking windows or doors settling or sinking foundation it's a fact foundation problems don't get better with time but they do get better when you call aps
