Weary Yet Fighting | Bishop George Searight

are you ready here we go galatians chapter number six verse nine and let us not be weary in well-doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not i want to read just for uh your hearing you're listening i'm going to read this same verse from the amplified version of the bible and this is what it says and let us not lose heart this is really important this one right here let us not lose heart and grow weary okay and faint in a acting nobly and doing right the bible says on amplified version for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap if we do not loosen and relax our courage and fame i i love this amplified version and let us not lose heart and grow weary it's it's it's when you lose heart is when you begin to grow weary and faint in acting noble and doing what's right that's when you start fainting giving up for in due time there's a time thing connected to this whole process and at the appointed season there is also a season connected to it we shall reap if we do not loosen and relax our courage and fame this is the word of the lord thanks be unto god father i thank you for the interest of your word bringeth forth light illumination revelation i thank you for the impartation of your word that your people of god will receive on this day i thank you that your word is a lamp to our feet of light unto our pathway i thank you that that we have come to be clear on what you are speaking to us through your word that's how you you speak to us through your word that's how we grow our faith that's how we expand our existence in the world through righteousness and truth it is through your word we become the people of god called by your name chosen and appointed for seasons and times that you control and it happens through our living and through our lives so we thank you for your word that comes that increases our living in our lives thank you for this momentous time in history that we are now standing in we bless you and we praise you in jesus name amen and amen and amen this this one verse of scripture has challenged me in so many incredible ways because at one point it it says that we should not become weary and faint and in another part of the the the text here it says that we're going to reap something very very special and the reaping comes if we continue to be courageous and not faint i want to talk this morning very briefly very quickly about weary yet fighting there's no way that you cannot become weary if you're in a fight it's really it blessed me to know that it's okay to become weary but it's not okay to faint in your weariness so what does it mean not to be weary because the text says be not weary so what does it mean to not be weary there's no way that any of us i'll say it again there's no way that any of us cannot be tired weary of our life's journey there's just no there's just no there's no way that we could not be tired and i'm talking about physically tired if you are doing anything with your life at any time at some point you're gonna get tired even when you're doing the thing that's supposed to build your uh your momentum up in your muscles and build your your workout regimen to the place where you are feeling physically fit even in the process of being coming physically fit you get tired yeah physically tired and i've come to this conclusion that that pretty much it's impossible for us to achieve anything that's worth something without in the process getting tired while we do what we have in our hearts to do having our minds to do because there are they're going to be times that that we grow physically tired there'll be times that we go physically tired even jesus himself in john chapter number four if you would read john chapter four verse verse number six it says now jacob's well was there jesus therefore being weary with his journey the big guy jesus he gets wearing in his journey sat thus on the well the bible says it was about the sixth hour i don't have time to break it all down but jesus got weary in mark's uh writing in chapter number four verse 38 um it says and and he was in the hinder part of the ship asleep on a pillow jesus was asleep on the pillow because he was tired and when you're when you're tired physically tired you gotta take a break you gotta get some sleep you got to get some rest you got to get some sleep you got to get some rest i was i was at my doctor and um he said he said to me he said you know you're doing really really well you know with your with your physical body uh with your with your blood and and your and your art everything is working really really good in you but i want you to pay a little bit more attention in the time that you sleep he said you're eating right you're exercising right but i need you to get that sleeping thing right because when you go to bed at night he says your body will heal itself while you're sleeping i said that's that's powerful right there you tell me i can get healed if i just go to sleep yes he says you gotta get the right sleep i said okay i'm gonna work on that now that's something that we all have to be mindful of he says he will give us rest besides still waters when we come in and rest because all that we do will make us physically tired so so i was thinking we can we can become we can become tired of the struggle and the battles that sometimes loom looms before us hangs over us so so what does it mean let me go back to this not to grow weary in our lives and it simply means this and i got this from the amplified version where it says don't lose heart i need you to type that somewhere write it down don't lose heart galatians chapter 6 verse 9 again let me go take you back to that again and let us not lose heart the bible says and grow weary and faint and acting nobly and doing right don't lose heart let us not lose heart in doing good for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary if we allow our physical fatigue or mental fatigue to cause us to lose heart pretty much saints and to stop doing what is right saints then we have at that particular moment falling short in the things that we're supposed to be doing for ourselves and even for the kingdom of god we've got to we got to be careful that we don't allow this season that we're living in during this pandemic they said that there is this fatigue that's coming in that many are socially fatigued we we're losing our strength in living and holding on to the standards that we have to live by so that we can live on because if we tear down the standards if we well you know they say we got to continue to wear face masks you got a social distance there are things that we just need to do so that we can survive this pandemic and what happens is if we become fatigued we're allowing our hearts to grow uh to grow weary then we you begin to do things that you should not do on your journey for your healing for your breakthrough for your deliverance for for a better way of living everything we do no matter how we feel because of it is because of the promise of reaping that we need to continue to keep doing so man soweth so shall he reap whatsoever man soweth he shall also reap so we have to be careful that we don't become so physically fatigued or mentally fatigued so much so that it causes us to lose heart we gotta i don't know about you but i i think these simple words i wanna just share these simple words with you you gotta keep it together hear me people of god we got to keep it together yeah first corinthians chapter number 15 verse 58 says these words therefore my beloved brethren be ye steadfast unmovable always abounding in the work of the lord for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the lord now this it's important for us to know that we are we are not we are in this world but we are not of this world we have a we have a greater kingdom that we are that we apply our lives to we we're not like everybody else come on who does not know jesus so therefore in order for us to not lose heart we got to be steadfast unmovable we can't give up now we can't throw in the towel now come on oh i'm trying not to go that way but we can't give up now even when it looks like things are against you in every area every possible way you still cannot give up now no matter what the numbers are saying you can't give up now you can't lose heart and throw in the towel because we know that our labor what we do has a reward connected to it good god so we need not uh we need not to be weary lose heart in prayer let me let me go there you can't lose heart in prayer we got to keep on praying for the lord is nigh we gotta keep on praying because he will hear your hearts cry you gotta keep on praying because what he has promised he is faithful to bring to pass in your life we cannot grow weary and pray if ever we need to pray like we never prayed before now is the time saints because we do grow weary but we got to keep fighting oh we get tired in the morning at 6 00 a.m but we got to keep fighting and the weapon that god has given us as the people of god is the weapon of intercession the weapon of prayer because prayer moves the heart of god and god changes things through the magnificence of prayer when you pray god will answer even though sin is growing in the world and it becomes worse and worse each and every day we need to pray pray more when sin does abound grace that's much more abroad listen to what it says about the disciples in acts chapter number 1 verse 14 he says these all continue with one accord in prayer and supplication with the women and mary the mother of jesus and with his brethren uh they continue we got i want to encourage somebody continue you want to know where your steadfastness is it is in your continuing to pray you want to know how to become unmovable you got to keep praying you got to keep having that conversation with god no matter what it looks like you got to keep crying out to god ah it didn't matter for me whoever got in office i believe that what the church still has to do is cry out to god we got to keep praying we can't stop now we got to keep calling on the name of he who is great and mighty on he who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask i think we got to keep calling on that name that whenever that name is declared knees are going to bow tongues will confess that he is lord we gotta we got to be steadfast in prayer continuously acts chapter 4 verse 31 and when they had prayed and when they had prayed and when they had prayed and when they had prayed the bible said the place was shaken where they were assembled it happened when they pray i wish i could get some of the people of god to stop complaining and go to praying stop getting weary in your life only because you're not praying you gotta you gotta get back in the prayer fight oh yeah you got to get back in the prayer fight i know you heard that before you got to get back in the prayer fight it's a it's a fight when you get into prayer when you get in the intercession it becomes a battleground for you cry loud spare nine ah we gotta bring the kingdoms of our god into position in this world the bible says that when they had prayed the place was shaken where they were assembled together and they were all filled with the holy ghost and they spake the word of god with boldness come on come on there's a boldness that will rise up inside of us if we were praying ah yeah we got to pray the great revivalist of the 18th century the thing that brought great power great miracle signs and wonders was the fact that they prayed they did not stop praying ah i know you you don't like hearing this but but you got to hear it again and again again you got to keep on praying the thing that's going to bring one of the greatest moves of god on the earth is not just because we jump and shout in church but it's gone because we've been praying we've been having conversation with almighty god we've been summoning the angels of the lord jesus christ to come and to assist us and to learn the things that we can teach them in regards to giving god the glory and giving god the honor and making him first place in our life when the people of god begin to pray great revival is about to take place in this oh god in this country and this on this earth prayer true prayer true prayer true prayer true prayer will bring real revival true prayer will bring signs wonders and miracles can i get somebody to stop praying right now we don't we don't need to lose heart and grow weary and that won't happen if you're praying prayer prayer is not easy now prayer takes work i think some of us in your weariness you need to work it's hard work it's labor it's laboring it's it's travailing ah we need to do a lesson on travailing some of y'all want it easy no even when you're praying it can't be easy sometimes you got to wail sometimes you got to bend over sometimes you got to rock sometimes you got to feel the tension rise up in your belly and you feel like you're about to lose everything but that's when you engage in a new supernatural power that is released to the intercession to the words that you decree and declare oh if you declare it and speak a thing it will come to pass and it happens through prayer it happens through prayer ah it happens through prayer we should not grow weary in in praying we ain't got time to ease up the prayer time it's time to stir it up even the more and here's here's what i'm saying i'm not just saying that you gotta you gotta pray 24 hours a day i'm not saying that i'm not even saying because i'm gonna say yeah that's right we need to we need to now do more than 6 a.m prayer i'm not saying to do that because you'd still have to go through your life what i'm saying is when you do go in at 6 00 am when you do go in don't go in ma'am don't go in fumbling go in with some boldness because it's not so much that the time you put into it as much as it is is in the quality of the communication that is going on within you and god because you can say five words and move a mountain you can say three words and turn the situation completely around if you believe what you are saying if you are speaking it and declaring it with boldness good god from zion you can turn the situation around matter of fact i don't know about y'all but some of y'all know what i'm talking about you can just call one word out declare one name out and it will stop the accident from happening it will stop the house from being burned down it will turn the transitioning situation of you losing your job to a better situation sometimes you don't need to do but call jesus but call it with boldness call his name with power call his name with the authority that backs up what his name declares we can't grow weary lose heart in praying number two i forgot to tell you that was number one number two we should not grow weary and giving ourselves to the word of god you may say i've heard this before yeah i know but ii peter chapter 1 verse 19 says we have also a more sure word of prophecy where unto ye do well that ye take he what to the word as unto a light that shineth in a dark place good god his word will light the path for you his word is a lamb to our feet light unto a pathway hebrews chapter 2 verse 1 says therefore we ought to give the most earnest heat to the things which we have heard you see you grow your faith by hearing the word of god faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of god our faith will grow because of the word of god romans chapter 10 you know it's 17 and 18. yeah so we we can't be like we can't be like israel i'm trying to get to a close you can't be like israel psalm 78 verse 19 and 20. yay they speak against god they said can god furnish a table in the wilderness this is what the children of israel said that they're going through some difficult moments verse 20 says behold he smoked the rock that the waters gushed out and the streams overflowed can he give god it's so amazing god done delivered your little silly cells god done brought you out you've been praying and crying out god sins a delivery you get delivered he gives you what you need in the moment that you need it and then you still complain and ask god can he do even something greater i don't know who i'm talking to right now but i need you to you need to have a conversation with your family members hadn't god done some great things already look at where you are you would have never made it to where you are if god didn't do what he did lest i forget what he has done for me lest i forget all of his benefits to warn me already somebody what a shout already ah he's already got you out of darkness he's already delivered your soul he's already brought you out of your deliverance he's already lifted your burden he's already lightened your load ah why would you question now is god able i want to run i need somebody to be reminded that god is still able oh somebody ought to lift your voice and say god is still able even in your weariness he's able to give you the strength that you need god is able to do just what he said he would do let us not grow weary let's not grow weary in our christian living let us not grow weary in the light that we ought to be shining forth with let us not grow weary because it is through our lives hear me beloved that others will be saved so we can't grow weary in living this christian lifestyle we can't grow weary and throw in all the years that you have prayed all the years that you have read the word all the years that you have watched god work miracles we can't grow weary now we got to engage in a greater level of fighting now yeah god hallelujah i want to encourage somebody that even now you may feel a little weary but i need you to know yet you can still fight oh yeah you still got light burning on the inside of you you still got something stirring up in your heart and i believe that with all of us we have to at some point rise to a new a level above any inconveniences that may be presented in our lives and allow the gospel of jesus christ to rise again let god arise and let his enemies be scattered let god arise let his enemies be scattered i'm telling you i'm telling you you may feel a little weary now but yet god will give you a fight god will put something inside of you ah he'll put something inside of you i read this little story that the soldiers on the battlefield grows weary but because the soldier has a job to do he sees the danger of the enemy and at the same time he sees the outcome of the victory glory be the god which causes him to fight on i need somebody to see it i need somebody to see it while you're on the battlefield i'm on the battlefield for my lord i am on the battlefield for my lord i promise him that i would fight y'all know the other one tell that i'm on the battlefield you whether you like it or not i don't care how nice your clothes are how nice your house is how nice your car is how much money you make you are still as a believer on the battlefield for your lord and regardless of what you say about it you will encounter moments where you get weary yet god will show you not only the end of me because we're not ignorant concerning his devices but he'll also show you your victory god will to show you what the enemy is doing and he'll show you the outcome of your victory and i don't know if you ever had god experienced god to do this for you but god will turn things around he'll he'll turn it around and he'll do it so that your perspective of what's happening will adjust itself that's what we need we just need a another adjustment of what we see in the midst of our weariness ah i want to encourage somebody today and i close by reminding you the reason why the soldiers on the battlefield would continue to fight because they saw the enemy and they saw the victory and it's seeing that it caused them to fight even the more for you and i uh where is it hebrews chapter number 12. yeah verse three what we need is what the bible gives us and and and he gives us in regards to where we are in our position on the battlefield for him he gives us at times a realignment which causes us to re-engage you can't re-engage unless there's a realignment you got to get back into put jesus you got to get back into position again good god just think of him the bible says in hebrews chapter 12 verse 3 just think of him who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against himself amplified reckon uh reckon on up and consider it all in comparison with your trials check out what jesus did as opposed to what you're going through so that you may not grow weary or exhausted losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your mind he said i need you to remember what jesus did have mercy god remember the sacrifice that was already made i need you to remember what he went through to bring you to a place where you will not lose heart and understand that if he went through it i mean he suffered through it he barreled through i mean he laid down his life going through it but yet he rises up with triumph with glory with victory and all majesties all his all power is his if we can just remember what he went through to arrive at the place that he is in right now seated at the right hand under the other father make it an accession for you or not then while you watch that while you read that that ought to bring some encouragement to you even when you feel weary you read the word and it puts a new fight in you [Applause] what it boils down to is that we as a people of god we fight because we got a promise i need you to tap your neighbor oh i wish i was in church i need you to have somebody i need you to reach over some i need to throw this at somebody and say we got a promise i need you to look at your neighbor and look in the mirror and say i got a promise i got a promise ah i got a promise oh i got a promise oh i got a promise the reason why it's all right i got weary but yet i'm keep fighting because i got a i have a i have i own a promise there's a promise that has been given unto me i have a promise i know i'm laboring a little bit along right there but i need you to understand this you can be weary but yet fighting because you have a promise yeah you got knocked down the other day oh you got real discovered the other day but you kept back you kept getting back up again why because you got a promise i need you to shout real loud say i got a promise i need somebody in their household i need you to stay in your house so i got a promise i need you to say in your house well let's go deeper say we have a tell your children we got a promise we got a we got a promise that's going to take us through the weariness of our lives let me give you the promise isaiah chapter 40 verse 29 ah this is the promise i'm sorry i was reading this whoa this is the promise this promise element this is promise see this is the promise that we have it's through his word he give us power to the faith i got a promise after them that have no might the promise is he will increase your strength even the youth could guard from zion show faith and be weary and the young men shall utterly fall but thing that'll wait upon the lord shall renew their strength mount tuck with the wings run and not be weary walk and not you don't have to faint in your weariness you still don't have to faint why because you got a promise that was made with you in mind don't be weary in well doing the bible says psalms 29 and 11 the lord will give strength unto his people the lord will bless his people with powerful peace you got a promise don't allow the weariness to cause you to lose your courage and to frame in your heart to lose hope in your heart you have a promise hear me today you got a promise the bible says philippians chapter 4 verse 13 i can do all things through christ who strengthens me in my weariness he gives me my strength well i should say this way he gives me history [Music] and his strength becomes my strength and even though i look weary but i'm still fighting i still got my dukes out matthew says this is the promise 11th chapter 28 verse he says come unto me oh you that labor and i and if you're heavy-laden i'll give you rest got a promise we got a promise we got a promise a close you have a promise yeah you go weary physically tired but you stay in the fight you got some wounds you got some you got some bruises you you got signs that you're in the fight and while you were in the fight you you got tired you got winded i come to encourage somebody it's all right because he will give you an exchange i think for the people of god we got to start believing in the exchange we cannot become so fatigued so physically worn out so mentally fatigued and worn out that we lose the fight the facts of faith that's growing inside of us i hope you got this today god is still on the throne he's still the joy of our salvation and when we come to the place where we feel our weakest that's when his strength becomes real to us i don't know i think if we were in the church building you were here some of y'all would be jumping and running even though you got weary but you're running and you're jumping and you're celebrating is in the strength that god gives you which engages you in a greater fight that you already win the battle has already been won victory is already yours
