like this i'm a little nauseous right now hello my name is jessica joe's no longer a part of the family flips it's just me now it's she's not her family no she just flips yeah it's just me um and today we're doing an 888 lots unboxing that i didn't pay for just this one random guy did you tell us about it jessica um it's i i do know that it is a home improvement box hi there my name is joe and i'm jessica we are homeschooling natural living entrepreneurs this is a story of how we balance it all for the freedom to live our lives devoted to our family and faith thanks for stopping by subscribe and come on in yeah it's four boxes one lot yup and it cost us some money it did i don't remember i don't you see 1375 we paid for it uh msrp was like 1 375 yeah msrp was like 5 000 uh which i thought was high i thought we could probably by my calculations uh have potential revenue uh some around three thousand dollars thirty one hundred bucks something like that so we'll see though uh after we get it uh unboxed uh great thing about 80 date lots is uh it's all brand new stuff so uh you pay more for it but being brand new i'm worth the i'm worth you're worth it i'm worth it now in my opinion it is worth the extra cost because i'm worth it you know and and for those of you who are just starting out and you and you want to lower the risk being able to have new items vastly lowers the risk that most of these items are definitely going to be sellable yeah um there may be a few a few damages here or there sometimes something happened or whatever yeah but for the most part you know with things like returns and stuff like that you really don't know what condition items are going to be in this is a little it's not guaranteed but it's a little safer so for the starting reseller this is a great place to start so so if you haven't bought from 88 lots before you do have to have like a reseller's license a business license so make sure you register with your state just google wherever your state uh just google um resellers license uh and then your state you'll find it but the great thing about 88 lots is the first time you purchase for them you do get 50 off of your order and i believe you can order a couple of lots the said the first order there's like a threshold you can't order so much i don't know what that is because we only took advantage of the one lot because we didn't know about the special rule and after that you do get a dedicated sales rep and you can make offers uh and negotiate i found the more that you buy the lower prices you get but they still want to make money too so anyways let's do it first box of four hey it's always like kind of anticlimactic because they got these they do but it's you know it's safe yeah and the first thing i'm seeing in here is some bags there's multiple no this is different this is just one it's some kind of carrying bag bag um i don't know if it's like a smell proof or a waterproof there's something in it it's not a bag there's something in it there's a bag in the bag it's not a bag it's a uh i'm scared because i don't want to i got to know what it is but i don't want to open it up and then i can't get it back in i'm not sure what you're going to do jessica because you're not going to be one putting them back in there let me just try to be what does the label say nothing there is no label it's labelless oh that sucks it's labeled it's labelled it's a garment bag i think you're right i think it's they put a garment bag in a bag i have no idea look at that they put a garment bag in them that's weird so we have one garment bag and a bag yeah and there's a lot of items on here that we'll probably got to save for a garage sale but there was a lot of items that were expensive items that should as long as you know there's nothing wrong with them they should pay for the lot fairly easy and the rest will be profit so if you're looking in here like here's three things that are exactly the same uh it is a honeywell honeywell wait pre-filter what's a pre-filter it's not a filter it goes in before a filter yeah it's before the filter filter it's a odor reducing replacement prefilled it's got a upc on when you scan it okay they also have um these cool silk chinese it says chinese red envelopes oh i can write you some love letters in there you could i could you could do that i guess i could start with writing love letters in a regular envelope first because then you'll expect red envelopes uh oh the pre-filter filter is no longer in brand new pristine condition it wasn't before okay let's see so trending at between 11 and 18 all right so not very much so we could probably sell them in a lot of three for like 29.99 that'd be the best bit right there i think they're light enough it still would only cost first-class mail to ship it so i mean there yeah pretty light yeah all right all right what else you see in here babe let's see some a little more more envelope yep wait where's the one that you had before those were them oh so there's only one yeah there's this is a weird lot it's not like home items this is home improvement items so things that things that you would use like air filters to construction type stuff projects i don't know you know just get you a pre-filter filter plastic packers are you sure that they can see that yeah plastic packers i see you holding it like this i'm like watch you be like look i don't know it's plastic packers and it's like maybe we should put this back on the tripod and hook up the gopro to get the other angles that's probably a good idea let's do that yay look what i got flags this one this one says it's an earth flag which i kind of want to see uh because i like earthquakes we're just opening up all the stuff today i'm sorry just pick up the evening at the other flags this one just says earth plug and i want to try it there's another flag there's a lot of flash cardinal wow it's huge that is the earth that is the earth looks like decorative uh dragonflies um see and these aren't gonna cost super super a lot no so this will probably be something that will be difficult for us to sell yeah because we really don't have like a local market where we can sell smaller items yeah so garage sale one day there's another blue flag i don't know exactly what it is and then a another little flag here these may be like 50 cent items at a garage sale maybe we find one that we really like and we put one in our garden i'm seeing lots of you speaking of gardens i'm seeing you should price this because these can be worth some money this is a plant food blooming and rooting it's for a specific night i think and there's more in here there's two looks like uh 17 to 25 dollars okay well here look there's three of them three so we could always lock these up sell them this would be good for anybody who does gardening they've got uh it looks like it's for uh like flowers like orchids ornamental flowers vegetables it says flowering shrubs berries something else i see on there it's tomatoes tomatoes there's a two-pack that sold for 28.83 so we probably could sell a pack of three for like 45 bucks to solar motion lights the solar lights they always sell 15 to 20 bucks which is always good this looks like um i guess it's like when you have gaps like around windows or like when like say your your uh dryer vent going outside has gaps around it that's what this is for it's like some type of insulation thing yeah and it's got a upc too so i'm gonna scan it we'll try and scan a lot of stuff that has new pcs but this one doesn't have gloves no gloves for the other oh okay i see they're hiding yeah looks like one is selling for 9.95 so we can do it a two pack for probably like 20 bucks yup you can use these for the garage the size of garage doors the top of garage doors the in-between windows it looks like filled gap rodent barrier kit is what it is ah that's what it is yeah rodent barrier kits all right all right all right i've got some john deere light duty cotton grip gloves in size you i think is what the y stands for yeah so nice nice name brand i like name brand it's got a upc but it's in the bag so i don't know if it's gonna scan these can't be too terribly much it's a door strap it's a door strap like eight nine bucks does it go side it does it strap a door metal part fastened to the top of a door as of a garage where'd it go i don't know it goes to the top of a door wherever it goes alexa what is a door strap you're welcome for those of you who are watching if it worked looks like a little cup cup cup coupler coupler little tubes together so coupler coupler that's it so sell these in a two pack this is a grass bag i guess for like the collection of grass this is literally home improvement stuff they were not kidding yep yeah these couplers um it's a cast iron coupler some of them are selling for um like 15 to 20 bucks yeah very nice very nice whoa oh i don't know what this is i don't know what it is what is it what is it what is it oh it's a uh msr it's a four-way hose splitter is what it is four-way hose splitter and there has not there's not any listed with that upc it's perfectly sealed so i'm not gonna open it yeah hose it's probably gonna sell like a adapter yeah you put a hose you probably put a put it a hose in it and then it has three other three other spokes where you can get water to go in all three spots yep she's so good look at that that's exactly what it is my wife's so smart your turn i mean you've been doing a lot of the stuff i just like looking up upc it's like here's the same thing yeah there's your one there's another one there these are spray to drip conversion kits i don't know what that what that means i think this is uh just because of how sh how handy we are how handy i am those of you all are probably a little bit more handy you're like oh my gosh these millennial kids they don't know anything my bad mine but they've been selling on ebay looks like uh 1345 plus 475 shipping 19.15 so we've got three of them here at least yeah because this is something else oh this is a mask we can't even sell this no it's a half face piece medium mask it's one of those ones that you use for like painting or sanding or whatever that have the little filters on the side we tried selling one of those on ebay a while back a couple weeks ago and uh they would not let us sell it because of the the thing obed and all that and uh this is only like a 15 dollar uh little piece here 16 bucks so i don't know it's hard to sell we'll try and sell it on there i don't think it's the one that we tried to sell wasn't exactly like this but we'll try it's an inner tube i just don't know what it's for it says oregon quality aftermarket i just don't know it's gotta be for like a tractor tire or something like that there's no upc on it so that's going to be fun to look at we'll let you know it looks like it does have one but it's covered up with a sticker black and decker echo power proof echo i was having so much fun scanning all these things it's some kind of i spread chainsaw love the thing that goes on 24.98 so and then these guys are in some asian language i want to guess korean this looks very korean to me but i don't know what it is it's uh it comes in this little case it's a rotary cutter blade for a specific one uh looks like for an alpha rb 45 one replacement blade for l156b safety rotary cutters circular japan f forward slash this is japanese yeah but they're selling for like seven eight dollars a piece so remember that makes sense right now now that i see the writing i'm like okay yeah maybe it is i don't know it's hard to tell sometimes if you don't speak the language take some any of these things are for in the comments make sure you tell us what you're what you're saying it is because sometimes you guys will say things like that's for blah blah blah i'm like what is yeah because i can't ever tell which one exactly because there's no time stamp on when you commented so unless it's a live video live videos are different but recording videos you got to tell me that the so 40 to 50 bucks uh for this nail breaker it hurts i bet it does you thumbed it hard babe i was trying to make it make a noise it funded you you succeeded this is a swiss style dull clicker white i think i'm just going to have you read everything because you are way better at this reading thing than i that's a it's a caliper oh it's a caliper yeah so there's actually been a couple sold um looks like one sulfur 44.99 one for 54.40 the dual cowl that i would [Laughter] i mean we're good to start putting stuff in this back in this box no i think these are the same thing with different boxes no he said i don't i can't even flip it up to show you because there's little like little parts like this like little and there you put it closer to the uh the gopro they can probably get there i hope all the pieces are there jessica because this is expensive um well it looks expensive it looks like 139 one sold for just yesterday and the 20th of january and we got two 116 157 129 149 so as long as all the pieces are there which it looks like uh i don't know these smaller ones oh i see i'm not sure i'm not saying i feel like i'm on an episode of survivor and this is like one of those one of those those tests excuse me i'm afraid to touch it looks like we're missing some no we might not be because i'm looking the more i look like they're all like just shoved down in the holes huh makes you want to open up this one too and uh and see i wonder if you can order replacement pieces for those we are missing two three pieces oh it sucks that sucks especially it's a 100 item yeah no yeah no it's a heavy box baby that's good maybe better than this box that we just did i know so both of these are missing pieces yeah i don't know it looks like part of me is wondering if it is though because it almost seems like they're missing the same what if they're in in here or something that would make any sense babe this one has one in there this one has one in there too this one has one in there too that would be three so whether to do some worries here if y'all know i mean this video probably will come out and we'll probably have figured it out we'll probably have already figured it out like she said i'm trying so hard to put this back but it's like a puzzle y'all i know it's like a puzzle and i'm not very good at spatial puzzles if they are missing and what i'll probably try and do is you know look to see if these sets sell without them uh and if not then i'll try and find the replacement pieces for them somewhere um sell it for 80 90 bucks to recoup recover forever some of our money and then if they don't sell maybe finding the replacement pieces yeah would work and then trying to sell them as a whole depending on what's more profitable what she said again i like these i covers something you know what i know what these are these are the things that are on the wall behind doorknobs so that when it goes into that and i've seen these before i know exactly what this is this horse rain thing it's like 18 bucks on ebay cool beans yeah it's like some uh are these gardening shears isn't that what those are yep something like that are fiskars fiskars is sewing sewing fiskars makes sewing stuff so much random stuff in here paint brushes that's it they're for pruning another bird feeder lid things not sewing rain bird another random part there goes a prune when you reciprocating saw blade ant baits this is a banner nail brush this is a banner of some sort it's like a red white and blue banner i have to look that up uh and find out what it looks like it's like so much random small stuff in here another nail brush looks like uh rest easy uh kill and repels bed bugs so that's something we don't have the bed bugs but if we did uh and then uh belt sander sanding blade not the blades but sander sanded paper here's some vermont lotion i only like main lotion it's actually good for re repelling insects ah it's deet free and repels insects neat oh what's that uh is it one of those it's a silver streak spin something what is it called deer it's for a john deere tractor or something sprinkler that's the word definitely not goes on some type of tractor there's two of them now this is a belt fastener i don't know what that means what does that mean trying to see easily open up it's sealed it's got a upc on it though i recognize these guys so i pulled these out motion light we got that from the first box we also got these from the first and second box the rat room not go winner the house server what is that what is it called the rat not go in the house sir you know the steel barrier and then the uh i'm gonna go down to walmart and get one then rat don't go in the houses y'all got any of them right don't go in the house or things with the gloves in it hey google what's one of the rat going not going to housers everybody's google's going to be like what yeah um there's only been one sold on ebay of these belt fasteners and it was like 12 strips um this is uh i guess 12 and it's sold for 39 bucks this is a pool grate it's not a rat don't go it's a rat don't go in the pool yeah it's a great it's cute it looks great yeah it's a great great it's two great great i think oh it is two is it two great no it might be two one great great one great great but the great great lynn okay that's great baby you're welcome you about got all that stuff unboxing here's a filter this is our pre-filter now this is an actual like in the middle of the filtering process filter yeah and this is another filter but a different kind of filter that's for fuel isn't it that looks like an air filter this is for oil we're experts y'all just listen to us yeah do what we say just go down to walmart ask them rat don't go into houses i need anything if anybody does it like if anybody has the guts to do it please film it yeah like let me see it please i will put it on our social media i doubt that one scan oh it scanned it's a two pack of solar lights looks lighting the other two were solar lights so one of them box three empty already one more box to go we got three of them rat don't go in the house oh yeah joe's in the restroom but i got the fourth box y'all so i'm gonna open it and we're gonna get a sneak peek before he gets back because that's what he gets i mean it's not really that he did anything wrong but i went to the bathroom before we started [Music] on the manifest there was an item that was worth some money and it was one of the main reasons why we decided to buy this and now we're on the fourth box and we still don't have it yet so i'm hoping that it's in here what is this there's like moss in here or something let's see look at this y'all it's foliage foilage fiber clusters i don't know what it's for though they come in seasonal colors to make trees weeds bushes and undergrowth these thin poly fiber clusters can be stretched to match your needs i guess it's for like decorating decorating of some sort cool beans he's taking forever so we're just gonna keep going next is a thermostat guard started without me i was excited i wanted to find that one item i haven't found it yet i did find fiber clusters whatever you fake moss i don't know that we bought this a lot because they're supposed to be like a really expensive one i told you how i don't know what you'd said sorry exactly what you just said almost exactly probably worth it we haven't i haven't seen it yet we've got three it looks like of these thermostat thermostat guards quattro no guards trace it guards the thermostat it does for those of you who have to fight about it's like a 3m 8516 respirator in 95 i don't know how we're going to sell these i don't think we can we might have to donate them probably put those on our website in case somebody on here wants to buy them uh but uh yeah it's just such yeah i mean somebody's gonna need them though somewhere somebody somewhere will need them i've got a sea doo what see do m pep 1994 c do m hem c do s e a d o o c do m p e m that sounds kind of automotivey a little bit yeah well i know that expensive part it's like a uh some type of like it goes into like a computer for like a refrigerator or some i don't know exactly maybe this is it no no but this is an electronics computer brain uh that's like 85 to 120 bucks hey i'll take it yeah i guess it's pretty big i'll take it i'll take it she'll take it looks like humidifier pad replacement for a honey well no where'd i see honeywell at okay i knew i saw honeywell there it goes it's like just a replacement filter for like a dehumidifier i've got some exotic glass i guess like decorative for like fish tanks or like terrariums or whatever i don't like my glass to be exotic and i just like straight traditional glasses and then it's a green boardie um paint my food tools i thought they're like ice pick things and it's got like the little t-handle that you like you know pick up the box of ice i thought that's what it was that'd be cool yeah but it's i guess you uh i don't know how you use it to boot hooks oh no this is plant food but it's broken at the top oh no you may have got your wish you may be able to uh to use it she's like i dripper huh hey you can put this these you can put these these can go on the hose too and it waters it waters like you can like attach them to the hose and then it lets some of the water out this is scary y'all why this is that item oh right and it's in bubble wrap in a bag that's it that's scary um that's super scary like that's not protected at all and even so it doesn't come with a box so we couldn't sell it new we could sell it like new without box i mean it's still sealed it still has the the bag it's like for static electricity and stuff and i mean i'll have to open it up just to inspect it and i hate that i hate that i'm not going to open it up because uh it's got a warning label on there it's like there's certain procedures that you want to take when handling devices like boards and stuff static static sensitive devices and this is one of those so i'll have to it's been a while we used to do it a lot when we did our cell phones i've got like a an anti-static mat and stuff that we'll i'll do um but this is scary uh because if this is broken or anything then this is like a loss of like four to five hundred dollars uh which is what this is selling for on ebay it's like four to five hundred bucks uh so that could be which would be really disappointing because this is the that was the main reason we purchased this lot to begin with but it just goes to show you that 888 loss is probably one of the least risky ways to buy and sell liquidation just because of the way that they source their products and that a lot of this is brand new items but then you can still this this is a great thing to show that you can still lose money on eight and eight lots on anything and it's not really the liquidator's fault that's just the way that business is these days so that right there that if that's the item and that's what it was manifested for it was in there but there's still no way to know until you unbox an until you unbox it so yeah i'm a little nauseous right now i'm just going through like you know yeah it's like it's not 88 lots fault because they don't know you know they don't know that it's an expensive item like they don't like it's too hard to even look like you see us trying to look up prices for stuff yeah it's like there's no way they can do that no and if they did they might as well just list it themselves but whoever originally sold this because all this stuff came from amazon so whoever originally sold this for on amazon that seller not very smart like they could have put that in a box or something to protect it like why would you not put a four to six hundred dollar item in a box to protect it why would you just put it in a bubble yeah bubble wrap and then put it in a bag and like i know it's not a return or anything because that's the that's the label that you have to put on it when you do amazon fba so they just wrapped it up in a couple rolls of bubble wrap put it in a bag send it into amazon fba that's not smart hey okay well we've got a little bit left in this box let's go ahead and try to move forward through this this is a three-piece lock grip set there all right um and then i've got a handle of some sort it's like better get a handle on this babe i don't know if that's a handle that's a towel ring it's a little towel ring and then this is a i have no i it's a swiss army knife i think it's like a little we've sold things like this this is nail clippers but it's it's swiss yeah oh how neat no that's an army knife that's a knife it's a very small very cute it's got nail clippers on it yeah so that's nail clippers how cool that is pretty neat but it also has like um and true swiss army knife fashion little knives yeah um that's a filer honestly i'm like can i have it how much is this because it's i totally keep this in my purse um i'm trying to figure out where the rest of it is here we go i've got little scissors it's like a it's like it's like a pet a manicure little manicure set in a little knife how how cool you're not going to want to keep those interesting well none have sold so it's not worth anything yet but the cheapest one is priced for 39.99 you need to handle knob yeah looks like a um chrome to handle uh laundry tray faucet sink thing and then a light bulb we got two more things in here i'm gonna get this one because it looks cool it's heavy than i can see empty uh i'm a little emotionally distraught right now because of that dang uh um it's really hard not to get emotionally involved i know a lot of times we coach people not to get emotionally involved in your inventory but you know when you lose money it's it takes a a good minute to get that back you know so there's a part of you know whatever happens here like we know that it's a part of the business we did not invest any money that we know we couldn't afford to lose but at the same time you know now we have to list all of this stuff just to make our money back and we're not actually making any money so it takes a lot longer to snowball back up to where we were which is part of it that's the risk that we said we were going to take so what we're going to do is we're going to go through we're going to try to find the numbers for this put it all together and then we'll give you some numbers about you know some different possibilities with this with this big item best case and worst case scenario so that you guys can be more prepared when you're making decisions um on how to buy liquidation yourself yeah so how did we do we did it we did it right now i thought um we did the math and we got two numbers here one includes the circuit board uh i still don't fully understand exactly what it's for some machine it's a replacement circuit board for it uh and we got one with it when without it because i i've inspected it it looks good i don't see any damage to the board or anything but i don't know it's just one of those deals i'm nervous about but with it if we sell it our projected profit granted it's projected its potential it's not profit until we sell we get that uh is 2 792 after shipping and fees remember we paid three hundred and seventy five dollars so if that works and it's good to go then we will have doubled our money making one thousand four hundred and fifteen dollars which is exciting now if we do not sell this circuit board item um then we will have projected obviously uh we would have two thousand four hundred and forty two dollars which would give us a potential projected profit of one thousand and sixty seven dollars yeah so either way i mean i would definitely take the 1400 over the one grand but um you know either way we are still making our money back now keep in mind that a lot of these items that we have priced they are preliminary
