foreign [Music] hey guys welcome back to the channel it is the basic Builder back in valheim bringing you another building video I hope you enjoy the time lapse of this Castle build and this journey of this lonely Viking trying to build his ultimate house so without further Ado let's go ahead and jump down into the house tour [Music] all right before we jump over into the actual house itself I wanted to start out by showing you around this little Harbor Marina area for your boats to travel into I decided to place this new iron wood burner Brazier I think it's just such a great addition to valheim with the updated of hildor's request so I thought this was a great little spot it also gives off a little bit of light for your boats to come to when you are coming down the river soon um moving on down will actually jump down to the actual like landing area it's nothing special nothing fancy I just wanted to throw in a few boats here I did widen out the harbor area and make it a little bit deeper for your big boats to get down into um but I think you know just keeping it simple with just how Grand the actual house is uh how how Grand the house itself is I can't talk this morning but um I thought keeping this simple would make the most sense so that's exactly what I did so from the harbor I created this nice Stone Cobble pathway leading through the little bit of a meadow Forest that we have here I just lined it with a few of the stand-in braziers um and we've got a grayling that's just really really mad at that stone column but that's okay uh and so now what we're going to do is walk across this Grand small Bridge that's connecting from uh two islands basically over the river I thought this was a really really cool idea to do although it does block off the harbor because or the river I should say because the river does connect from Ocean to Ocean so as we continue to walk across the bridge you can start to just see how tall this castle house whatever you want to call it build actually is um again I used if you notice in the time lapse I used the terrain to add to the height of this build everything is pretty much vanilla other than just placing down a few some items here and there using the creative the better creative mod but as far as the structure is concerned it's just iron or the wood iron beams and stone and wood so um now we'll get off this walking here and actual walk around the main Harbor area now there's plenty of room for you to do some decoration around here and again you can look back across down the river that leads into the lake that does lead back out to the ocean and you can also see where we first started out over there as well as the bridge all right enough to talk about the outside let's go ahead and move on to the inside that's what you're all here to see so moving on back over here to the main entrance we have a nice big wide staircase going up I decided to mix in two rows of the black marble just to kind of break up the all the gray from the stone so moving on up in here we're going to go into this first room which is a nice big storage area you can never have enough storage I thought this was just a great use of space obviously it can be used for anything that you wish but this is what I did and as well as just through a few decorations some that you will see from the better creative mod moving on in to the actual house itself we're gonna go up this large big staircase again placing those lanterns on the top that is done by the better creative mod so um it's all asset pieces from the game so I would highly recommend using that if you're using mods going on into the inside we have a nice grand entrance area we have a nice custom chandelier up there using the shaman trophies as well as the deer trophies a few swords some red banners I think just the red really pops off the walls moving on in here you can also see we have some custom chandeliers again this time using the certain trophies I really like those certain trophies I think they are very nice and so I decided to make a few custom chandeliers one thing that I also like about using the um certain trophies is the fact that the smoke does not rise through the floor like the hanging Brazier wood carry in On Through To the left hand side I put some coat racks or you know some armor stands in here to stimulate some coat racks obviously you can put armor on it if you want to not necessary in this room here it's just a nice little sitting room uh just to kind of collect your thoughts and as well as a few cases we got a few um Ravens Thrones here uh highlighted by the white banner and these serpent shells skill shield and the torch I've done this in a previous build I really like the look of this uh the The Shield kind of hides the Brazier so it looks like the fire is just coming out of the shield which I really like over here we have a custom couch if there's something that you want to see let me know down in the comments below if you want to see a tutorial on how to make this it's very very simple but I'll be more than happy to do that we have our fireplace here with the dragon trophy in a few more decorations as well as on the other end we have another sorting sorting another sitting area getting ahead of myself alright so moving on one of the things you will notice about this house Castle again whatever we want to call it I'm going to call it a castle um you'll notice that it was built more for the Aesthetics than the functionality it's not the greatest of layouts um I will admit to that however uh overall I think it turned out all right so moving on into this main tower this is the transportation Tower this is how you're going to get from level to level but before we go up the stairs let's go ahead and move on into this room here this is going to be your uh your Workshop basically this is right above the um storage area down below the first room that we went into so this is just a nice little workshop got our our Forge in here as well as our workbench and all the upgrades and a nice load of fireplace just to give it some warmth um so I think this room turned out really nice for how small it is and again obviously you can open up the doors and you have a nice Grand look over the the grounds of the castle so I really thought that was a nice little touch a good use of space again so now let's go ahead and move on back and go to the next level um just due to the size of this room here I could not use the normal stairs I wish the ladder movement was a whole lot better but you know it is what it is so before we head let's actually let's let's head over into the living quarters next so moving on down into the living quarters you can see this is a nice large room we have beds Galore um I think you can fit uh what we got 12 Vikings at least on this floor alone there's 12 beds I believe nope there's eight beds I can't count but either way I made these nice little custom bunk beds I really like the looks of them and they've got the blue carpet scattered throughout we have The Artisans table and just you know decorations really and truly uh we did throw in the new um Barbers table I guess that's what you're going to call it a barber stable from hildor's requests or hilder's request and so yeah I really like the look of this room it's really cozy really comfortable you have a fireplace it's warm uh it covers the whole area so again that's really good and again the use of the bunk beds um obviously this can be changed and arranged or however you like but for this build I think it's very very nice now there is an upstairs to this it is not decorated however it is again very very large so the fireplace is still coming up through here so you still have the warmth so this space can be used for just about anything portals more rooms whatever you wish now what I did is not put in a main bedroom or setting on Viking now that I'm going through this tour and realizing that I've been working on this build for quite some time um but uh either way maybe that could be the upstairs or maybe he just wants to live with his fellow Vikings you know make friends so let's continue and move on uh through and we're going to go up to the next level so one of the things you'll see is we have a few of these little balconies that are exposed to the outside I think that's really cool touch and we're going to open up this door maybe open the door there we go all right so before we head over into that room you can see a little sneaky peek we're going to close this door and we're going to head on into the war planning room um it's a small space but tall ceiling so it makes it feel a whole lot larger than what it really is I threw in the three different Thrones that we have here as well as the table and again the pattern that you've seen throughout the chandeliers as well as the white banners I think it adds a lot of light even though there's no natural light in this room so moving on now we have a nice little statue here that is exposed this is what I would call the bell tower essentially and we'll show you that on the outside and some more screenshots so moving on in here we have our nice eating area this is where said lone biking will sit up there and all his fellow Viking friends can join and have a nice big Feast down here below uh nice tall ceilings roof line was very difficult to do so you just ignore all that mess there but I do like the look of how I placed these chandeliers and the hanging or the hanging braised ears I guess you want to call it using the arch pieces I think that's a really nice touch um moving on down is where the kitchen is I really like this room down here it's very very cool um bringing some Vines so bringing some outside in as it's still dark down here but I think it's a really nice touch we got our nice fermenters I saw um nine bites channel one of his recent builds where he stuck at the forge coolers up underneath there and I thought that's a really cool touch so credit to non-bite on that idea I've never done that or seen that before so we have our cauldron and our iron so our cooking stations uh The Cauldron is fully upgraded I have hidden pieces throughout um and then we have just a few bits and pieces of storage as well as the storage wall so let's see here moving back on up as you can tell like I said this is built more for the Aesthetics on the outside than it was on the inside um so you know it is what it is I am thoroughly happy with the way the build turned out I am enjoying these larger builds for some reason more um you know pushing the boundaries and really just testing my skills so um you know I'm I'm really happy with the way this this turned out in the end so um yeah I think uh that's just about it so guys if you enjoyed the video please give it a thumbs up if you're new to the channel go ahead
