possible uh saturday service viewers now then thank you for joining us all so thank you for joining us this afternoon i'm going to put on a new hope and that's our series okay uh simulating series many weeks ago and we've been saying that there's always hope in christ and uh that's what the song said bhagava umaga a new hope and every time he gives him time we're always confronted by god's faithfulness i hope in praying to the torah i want to show you a short video of this young kid from our church in qatar uh it oppository when we were there were given a chance to uh engage our church kappa there's too much disruptions there's too much uh uncertainty and indeed let's continue praying for the united states and pusa i mean the all of these things happen and every time we talk to people as a past store there are a lot of brokenness if you want to use that word and then we hear a lot of prayer requests we counsel a lot of people and this is not just for christians especially there's a sense of hopelessness and brokenness and this is our topic for this afternoon uh globally yes uh on a national level yes we experience brokenness also personally there are a lot of people who experience brokenness and to some they thought they're in full control and this pandemic has really pushed them to to to know that are never in control and some people are seeing trying to deny it but they feel so tired and anxious but you know what this brokenness sometimes a lot of people pause and experience it though they just accept the fact that they're just hoping you've accepted it and hoping that the miracle a miraculous thing will happen and it will be gone somehow so after accepting it we adapted to it this is this will be the new norm i'm broken i'm helpless i'm hopeless so i'm case leon we'll just manage to survive and roll along is the goal is just survival mode and maybe some of you here you feel like your life is just on the survival mode so if that's you today this message is for you if you feel like you're broken relationally financially emotionally spiritually you know what the story found in acts chapter 3 is very very good message to all who are broken and last the day of pentecost and jesus said to his disciples because my father has promised you so don't go out of the city and and we've we've studied that last week day of pentecost where the holy spirit came and they were empowered against young continuation when peter and the rest of the disciples 120 of them was filled with the holy spirit and we're going to look at the story found in acts chapter 3 verses 1 to 10. well look at the story of this beggar i mean he's about my age actually so 36 waistline okay so hey that gut on that's a mid-40s according to the bible right so when you talk about brokenness man this guy his birth into brokenness because he was born lame well up he was paralyzed at birth he could not help himself he needed the people around him to bring him favorite spot sapama malimos so this guy if you feel you're broken this guy wakes up in the morning broken is slip broken kissing left and can young routine sleep beg hit repeat sleep beg it repeat that's his daily routine it's just he's just barely surviving and his life actually is full of contradictions imagine that he's always in the temple where the source of healing were because i'm the oppressed is the god and still he remained crippled every single day he was under this beautiful brass gate called the beautiful in fact josephus one of the uh jewish historians the gate was so beautiful it was made of corinthian brass now the panama you iban gates dawns at temple who are made was made of uh silver and gold it upon beautiful gate that was so beautiful and yeah the contradiction is this his life was ugly he's considered cursed and listen up in the midst of this rootingary paulie kind of life that he lives there was a divine interruption there was a divine disruption and it was never the same again let me encourage you you know what when you encounter the true living god your life will never be the same again and i can attest to that some of you can attest to that in fact if you're watching the pinago di or damboy mo so here's my question for you do you want to experience god's divine disruption in your life today because this guy from dead to life from hopeless broken to being made completely whole in fact let's look at the verse young ending he jumped to his feet okay and began to walk okay he jumped to his feet and began to walk then then he went with the disciples with peter and john into the temple courts remember but now he went inside walking and jumping and praising god look at those words walking jumping praising a new hope has dawned on this hopeless broken helpless beggar and the bible says he was full of joy you know the word exuberant you you the word exuberance [Laughter] enthusiastic euphoric joyful high spirited and accelerated experience and exuberant joy from dead to life and today we're going to talk about three reasons why he is exuberant exuberant three reasons why god's divine disruption will fill us with exuberant joy so young three reasons why god's disruption fills uh us with exuberant joy okay okay so number one point now then kaya pu time of you feel enjoy his disruption fills us with exuberant joy as it comes type no unexpectedly so nothing is god's divine intervention or disruption unexpectedly so let's look at the verse in verse one somebody one day peter and john okay was uh going we're going to the temple at the time of prayer at three in the afternoon so this is just the usual routine of peter and john in this they were just doing their own their usual routine of praying three in the afternoon and next verse now a man so union verse now a man who was okay uh who was lame okay from birth was being carried to the temple gate so i don't know just be imaginative when you're reading your bible so neglect i don't know how many years but this guy that's a mid-40s and it says there he was put there every day to beg from those going into the temple court this is his daily routine and because a lot of people um um made joe are convicted of their saying they're gonna help the poor and this crippled guy actually is a vivid illustration of a lost sinner we can relate to this guy he was born lame and all of us are sinners the bible says we're born sinners and number two he cannot walk and so do we as sinners we cannot walk the path of god we always please the enemy right and number three he was always outside the temple court and as sinners we are outside of god's temple we are outside of god's presence and fourthly he was begging as a sinner also we're beggars we're we're not rich we're always searching for satisfaction so the next verse abidito when he saw peter so inaudible when he saw peter and john about to enter he asked them for money so again and then when he saw peter and john okay that's about to enter he asked them for money that is routine and the next verse it says here peter look straight to keep parivato because he was so used to being you know dead ma when people pass by either but then this two guys are different all right anybody here um so the man gave them his attention and then it says here expecting to get something from them and whatever they expect more right so he gave them his full attention expecting the routines of [Applause] something peter silver and gold i have none but look up here babe what i do have i give you and then if you're the beggar okay solace what i do have i give you and then that's where the verse the powerful line in the name of jesus christ the neglected peter of nazareth walk wow his disruption god's divine disruption fills us with exuberant joy because it comes unexpectedly and then instantly instantly he didn't push unexpected because what he's expecting is money anybody here you you your solution to your problem we have these sets of expectations at times negotiated you are the one who thought you know the what's best for you but then the when god disrupts your life which i believe this pandemic is some sort of disruption to our daily routine when god disrupts our lives our life shall never be the same again and then unexpectedly the reason why unexpectedly uh sidab and peter from nazareth and we know me saying sila no good thing comes out of nazareth okay from a carpenter's family born in a manger you know what that's the beauty of god's blessing it's not dependent on your usual core competence it's not dependent on your pedigree on your uh strength in fact the bible says lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge him so that he'll make your path straight lord gloria so again number two instantly okay it's not a 12-step program peter didn't say okay in the name of jesus christ and then on the sixth month more instantly she helped him up now look up here this is very important he helped him up and there's a word instantly the man's feet and uncles became strong do you have people with you who is helping you in this season are you surrounded by men and women of god that will encourage you and help you in this season of doubt and unbelief do you have people around you that will say it's just for a moment god will never live us nor forsake us do you have someone with you that will help you going and walking through this season i hope and praise my mother to encourage you every single day that's why we're pushing you to join a small group heyday and again new enemy to throw those lies you're so depressed you're so alone if you have no one to carry you pt is the man who walks the walankasama that's what ecclesias says and then instantly brings wealth and he adds no trouble to it and his his his disruptions will cause us to experience his exuberant joy because it is complete and let's finish this okay he jumped to his feet miraculously let him look at me for a moment 40 plus years all his all his life hindi hindi [Music] he jumped he jumped his feet wow first he jumped his feet all right and began to walk then look up here he walked with them inside the temple courts and then allah and jumping and not only walking in zambia praising god look up here from outsider to insider you feeling all his whole life every time they're talking about the magnificence of the of the interior of the temple father africa new sacrifice and all his life and all he's like inside the temple all his life now finally he can see the beauty he can be in the presence of god inside the temple but little did he know that the presence of god was with him in the name of jesus now from an outsider not an insider you know what happened when all the people saw him walking and praising god from brokenness to being completely whole now look up here for those of you who's just accepted and adopted and just barely surviving let me tell you something economy could it be that this pandemic is god's divine disruption to your daily routine so that it will be you know shattered magugulusha so that you'll know god i need you in my presence i need you in my life so that in this moment of brokenness you'll be made whole and not just for your own consumption because what happened here a lot of people were filled with awe and says there they recognized him as the same man who used to see it begging at the temple gate called beautiful all right next verse and then it says there and they were filled with wonder and amazement of what had happened to him they were all all filled with oh and wonder they got curious and you know what happened we don't have the time to go through the rest of the story but what happened is peter saw an opportunity he preached the gospel powerfully the the miracle was just a sign that's always signs and wonder that's not the end of it it's just a sign pointing to jesus so when you're headed to baguio all right i want to go to baguio if you see a sign that's not baguio city that's still tarlac but there's a sign pointing to baguio and the signs and wonders they are there pointing to jesus it's not the end it's just a means to an end because when peter saw an opportunity people were cramming and august peter preaches the gospel you know what happened last verse many who heard the word believed many of those who have heard the gospel believe and you know what happened when they believe they got saved about 5 000 of them he was saved not just to be healed but to made whole completely whole from from from broken to being made completely whole because he is now healed spiritually god used him his miracle through him to witness the power of christ to other people five thousand were added to them on that day and today before i pray for you i'm gonna ask my friend lee to sing that short part of the horrors and as we sing this song can you just take this time to repent of all those you know doubt to repent of those self-sufficiency to repent from all those things the pinata and maybe some of you this is high time for you to say lord i'm sorry because you are the only one that can really bring wholeness to my life let's just sing this song once again and then after that i'll pray for you [Music] we are healed by his stripes those in darkness brought to life worth full jesus christ [Music] we are [Music] [Music] yes lord you know what i do believe that the lord has a plan for your life in fact he said that he has a plan for you plan to prosper you not to harm you to give you hope in the future he died so that you and me will be healed and to some of you just accepted that fact that you're broken to some of you have given up hoping to some of you who just adapted to the brokenness to some of you are just barely surviving day in day out you stop praying you stop believing i believe this pandemic is god's way of saying enoch i know what's happening to you i'm in full control just like that lame dagger he can make you whole in the name of jesus christ you can walk out of that brokenness right now you can walk out of that doubt and unbelief right now and i'll be praying for you because i believe god wants you to walk in freedom he wants he wants you to be part of his family so if that's you today or you know people who's going through the same situation you're broken god wants you healed let me pray for you if that's you just close your eyes if you're beside these people you're you're a family praying you want to lay your hands to a member of the family or maybe all of you you're broken maybe you can just pray for one another but let me just pray for you lord thank you salamat because the story happened 2000 years ago you're the same god you the same name that peter invoked for that man to walk he's the same neighbor worshipping today that in the name of jesus lord we pray that these people will walk in freedom we no longer have been bound lord by fear they've been bound by unbelief lord they're bound by their pride lord in the name of jesus christ lord release them right now the way you make this lame man walk lord the same way you're gonna use lord god this time for these people to walk in freedom lord in the name of jesus christ we we're believing you for greater miracle lord god we're believing you for healing lord release these people organ from brokenness financially we want to give up in fact some of them they want to end their life because right now lord god once again prove yourself faithful to them lord god that you're the one who provides in the middle of the desert you provided the manna every single morning to go to your children lord god way back in the desert so right now lord i pray for these people lord god look for those people who are broken emotionally marital dispute humana that's causing them so much uh tension and and problem lord i pray right now the brokenness emotionally speaking lord would you just make them whole in the name of jesus christ and lord for those people who are spiritually broken of the lord god if you're watching and you believe that you want to have a relationship with him i want to pray for you lord for all of these people i pray lord god that you'll make us whole and lord i pray for these people who haven't given their life to you lord god in the name of jesus reveal yourself to them lord god thank you lord for everything lord i thank you for this story that still impacts us today alam now you're the same god yesterday today and forever that's why we can put our trust in you in jesus name i also want to pray for those people to become sensitive some of you are the peter and johns of this world but sometimes you're a christian you're so full of the knowledge of the word of god and yet sometimes we're insensitive to the people around us let me pray for you for god's divine appointment just maybe some of you need to take someone can i pray for you as simple as that and i just pray that just like peter and john they're filled with the holy spirit they're sensitive even in the midst of going to the church they have to disrupt their usual routine and pray for a beggar disregard and some of you need to hear this you you might be the only walking bible that that person will ever encounter and i hope and pray you'll be sensitive to the leading of the holy spirit so if that's you you want to be used by god but you can just raise your hand that god will cause you to be the bridge to somebody else's life a preach back to god lord i pray for these people these christians lord god yes you have saved them but lord sometimes come here means and we're insensitive to your leading father we pray that the way peter and john are sensitive to your leading help us lord to go out of our comfort zone and pray for those people lord god and speak life to those people that were hurting lord i pray that you will you have made us whole so that we can be a witness to those people who are broken so right now lord cause those appointments to happen have those divine intervention out of the blue when we call people they'll just say yes you can pray for me so thank you lord god for the sensitivity that you're gonna give these people your children in jesus name amen amen amen amen it's five o'clock anyhow we're done all right
