we're ending now the series why me so on first time perfect i'm nothing okay but don't worry next week we're going to start a brand new series as well and finance but we've been we've been talking about the series about suffering puni job and we're asking this question why bad things happen to good people and for the past two weeks we've talked about the reality for the suffering there is such thing as suffering when you're a christian suffering happens i remember one time remember the story accidents true story and then two weeks i see you one week's a rehab and then and the corona final discussion because accidentally the reality of suffering and jesus affirmed it to his disciple in this world you'll have many troubles so in case you're wondering why christians why good people not experience them bad things well guess what we're in a fallen world in fact according to c.s lewis if you find yourself okay a desire which nothing in this world can satisfy come back the only logical explanation is that i was made for another world wow so going become a satisfies that is convinced you're you're longing for the fulfillment in this world maybe just maybe you're made for another this is my hope for you and me now when we persevere enough and hold on to god we're going to have a renewed mind let's move on to the story job 42 verse 12 then job replied to the lord i know now he knows i know that you can do all things all of us on this job and dominican question okay god why is this happening why good good people experience bad bad after those three chapters i believe the questioning and questioning and questioning god how powerful and mighty he is then job understood i know that you can do all things no no god i know that you can do all things and no plan of yours can be thwarted there's far greater purpose suffering the job remember this happened thousands of years ago and up until now we're in the gig 2014 and millions and millions of people through the years have changed their lives because of the story of job in fact james naginami that was 2000 years ago and here we are 2014. 2014 what's the purpose but then it's it it's enough to understand that his god is in control you see sometimes we want to change we want to change the circumstances but let me tell you something god is more concerned he's more interested in changing you rather than your circumstances for you to have delayed gratification be faithful with the little that you have so sometimes we're so interested in changing the situation okay so but god is more interested in changing you rather than your circumstances in this opinion my ears had heard of you we talked about this last week not really neglected real and personal because he heard about the goodness of god but it's different when you experience him and suffering accomplishes that but never will you believe me nor forsake me every single verse is a bible about healing will be real and lord give me give me that healing so what what what job understood and you might deny indiana remember see marie i mean you know marie gonzalez is a preaching a few months ago maripo and marie gonzalez maryland pushing one year to leave according to her doctor last july or july or september october so marie okay she's she's one of her members she needed eighteen sessions in chemotherapy and around hundred twenty two like morphine which is patched 24 7. for the rest of your life then i'm going to one year ma pachikan and the morphine something but by the grace of god he healed the wounds in a matter of days and the pain was gone up to this day i got to work daily praise god again let's give god praise [Applause] a palliative care you know but then come to office every day and here you are here's a woman whose life is numbered but then goes to office every day you know what pushed him the hope what what made him her persevere knowing that if you want to walk on water if you want to really experience to do that well if you want to walk on water you have to get out of the boat experience blessing the god you have to live it out by faith because the right you shall live by faith but many times i will not even step out of the boat we want to always in our comfort zone wanna you don't want to go out in faith but if you want to experience god's blessing remember is peter when his eyes is fixed on jesus he was walking on top of the water wave he shifted you icing out to the waves and then suddenly started drowning and that's the case for most of us here when we're suffering our eyes is fixed more on the problem your problem becomes bigger for example this clicker is yeah but if i put this in front of my eyes it's bigger than all of you here and sometimes we treat problems like that but oh my god i know god is bigger than the universe he had this far the universe in the palm of his hands so if you're suffering today god created the trees hello fix our eyes on jesus focus on him go out of your comfort zone faith requires not seeing faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see are you believing for healing well you have to step out of your boat and believe god and claim it lord i am healed in jesus name are you believing let's believe god i'm really strong your family i'm looking for a day i'm looking for a day foreign guy you have to see beyond the shore you have to leave the shore and go out there and then in this yeah when he persevered he also had a repentant heart music god and all he can do is just confess and and humble himself and james said if we persevere if we hold on to god if we do not give up if we do not turn away from god who indeed these things will happen because repentance means turning from sin and turning towards god and now eventually everything will be restored and let me know the restore sakaya because in the restoration first of all what was restored to to say to job was its reputation remember let me let someone who's suffering and you cannot relate to this preaching because i think they're gonna manage to suffer well it's an application of the parasite if you have a friend a relative a love but no suffering just keep your mouth shut just sympathize with them the least you can do is just ask for pray can i pray for you and you're trying to find reason if you're a friend to someone who's suffering an application just just you want to console them according to cs lewis when pain is to be born a little courage helps more than much knowledge a little a little human sympathy more than much courage and the least think true i don't even is simply means a slight race stinky means a small solution the least stinky cure of the love of god more than all so if you're a friend to someone had fourteen thousand ships six thousand comments big time parameter big time and he had also seven sons and three daughters wow i'm a blessed man knowing the language there found women as beautiful as job's daughter and their father okay granted them an inheritance along with their brothers before the incident and after the suffering yeah seven thousand fourteen thousand you oxen your 500 to one thousand donkey now five hundred to one thousand you also 3 000 to 6 000 comments imagine wealth yeah because during those times wealth is measured and look at the children he used to have seven sons question would this message of the book of job change if god did not restore the job his former blessing your message about suffering blessing i don't think so he will remain god because one thing that job understood is mawlana as long as i have god nothing else will matter job finally learned that when nothing else was left he had god and that was enough because god plus nothing equals everything so my point is i don't know i don't know i have no idea but one thing i'm sure god is full of mercy and love he wants the best for you just hold on change the perspective about suffering repent if there's sin and god will restore you here or after life i don't know but one thing is for sure you're going to be reunited with god you know not all suffering ends in chapter 42 like chapter 42 and everything will be restored but i like what what zack said if he heals me then god is good god is god if he doesn't heal me he remains god and he remains good because the worst among you is to die physically and be with my makers if you are here today and you're suffering financial difficulty i don't know and then you're turning you're back against god because at the end of your life we're going to die and hopefully hindi kabumi that's why you can persevere but let me give you an idea what you can perceive remember the verse that i showed you i should know sabine james we count as bless compassion and mercy towards you wow i'm in good hands no matter what happened to us god will always write the last chapter of our lives so as we end this series you're asking god why me why me why me it's okay to question god no question about it somebody questions god an innocent sufferer as well 2000 years ago this guy no sin at all and he questioned the father in heaven while he was at the cross he was questioning the intention of the father in fact why have you forsaken me my god my god why have you forsaken me he was about to die he was about to breathe his last breath and he was questioning the father why have you forsaken me and some of you are in that situation question but my hope in prayer is that you'll have the same response when jesus questioned god here's his last response father yes i'm questioning you father yes i'm asking why you've forsaken me but father i want you to know into your hands i commit my spirit into your hands i commit my cancer into your hands i commit my questions into your hands i commit my doubts into your hands i commit my fears so if you're suffering today your response into your hands god i commit my spirit i don't know what we're going through right now but one thing i do know this god is full of compassion and mercy loves you who knows the number of your hair who wants to spend eternity with you so if you're suffering please persevere hold on never give up don't turn your back against god because ultimately he's wise enough to know you need it he's powerful enough to control the situation god is always in control it's never about satan vs god hello from the beginning from the onset of the discussion it's never about god versus satan no it's only god satan was just asking for permission hello satan has no power he's just asking god for permission so it's never about god versus satan it's god alone god can see you are you willing to commit everything to god today because believe me i've told you something jesus in this world you'll have many troubles and because of what he did on the cross thank god because jesus oh overcome the world if you're here today [Music] if you're here today the key if your suffering is to commit your life to jesus how i wish i can give you another advice or other option but if you don't have a relationship with christ you cannot make it you'll try to rely on your own wisdom and understanding the genuine i'm not talking about you put that in church praise the lord hallelujah i'm talking about genuine no hanky-panky no no playing around just just genuine relationship and lordship of christ in your life i'm not talking about that i'm talking about really jesus i love you and i'm committing myself to you stop playing religion life is short so if you want to commit your life to christ today i'm giving you this option jesus into your hands i commit my spirit so if there's anyone here you want to commit your life to christ and go through this suffering not alone but in the hands of a merciful and loving god you want to receive christ today can you just raise your hand if you're invited for the first time this is your moment this is the purpose why you're here to know christ personally so if you are here you want to receive christ can just raise your hand if you've been coming here for the longest time can you just raise your hand if you want to receive christ commit your life to christ just raise your hands it's a public and bold declaration lord i commit my life to you i'm questioning you but i want you to know god starting today i'm committing my life to declare with your mouth and receive in your heart and believe it the christ reigns he died he rose again you will be saved could you just pray this prayer with me lord jesus i have a lot of questions but starting today i'm going to set it aside and just give my whole life to you i admit that i am a sinner and i cannot save myself starting today i believe in all my heart that you are the only way the truth and the life and i can only go through this suffering if i accept you as my lord and savior from this day forward restore me restore me lord god be my lord and my savior in the name of jesus amen
