[Music] EP: Well, welcome to
"Something More." I'm your host,
Emilie Plowman, and my guest today says
that God has established a prophetic message of
redemption in the stars for every tribe,
tongue, people, and nation to see
and understand. Sounds hard to believe. Well,
my guest says it's not. Joining me in the studio
to tell us why is founder and senior pastor of Open
Door Church, Troy Brewer. Welcome, Troy. TB: Hello, Emily. EP: Good to have you back
with us in the studio. TB: Thank you, ma'am. EP: And today we are
talking about a very exciting topic and one
that could almost be seen as controversial.
But this idea that God communicates with
us prophetically through creation and specifically
through the stars. TB: Yes, ma'am. Specifically,
through the stars. When we started doing
that, people immediately might say, oh, you know, ruh-ro!
EP: Astrology or whatever, TB: Because people
have done really demonic things like that. EP: Yes. TB: And they have. But people have also
done that with money. And we still have to
learn about finances. Right. EP: Yes. TB: People have done
that with relationships. We still have to
learn about marriage. We still have to
learn about things. So now, whenever we
say that God Almighty absolutely speaks
to the heavens, we're saying the same
thing that Jesus said in the last days, that there
will be signs in the sun and in the moon and
the stars. Obviously, Jesus was not
blaspheming whenever, whenever He said that. Right. So, the actual scripture
that goes with all this, the one that we all
point to and say, okay, this is what the
Bible says concerning how the heavens operate and
our perspective of the sun in the moon and the
stars and how it actually speaks, something that
God is declaring it. Psalms 19 verses one
through six. It says, it says "The heavens
declare the glory of God. And the firmament shows
His handiwork day unto day, utters speech and unto
night it reveals knowledge." Did you notice that daytime
is for hearing God speak, but nighttime is about
God revealing knowledge? EP: Wow. TB: There's a- God speaks
differently in the daytime than He does in
the nighttime. EP: And why would that be? Why do you- why is
there a difference? TB: Because the daytime
is, is for hard work and God's going to talk to
you about you and your life. In the nighttime. He's going to have you
look outside your world and talk to you about
things beyond your world because it's all
quiet on the level. And He's just a
great communicator. And He's a
very, incredibly, dramatic in a
lot of the ways, in a lot of the things
that He does in the stars. There's so much drama in
the stars and all these pictures in the stars. But
then- I'm sorry. EP: One thing I love that
you have in your book, actually, because you have
a book on this called, Looking Up is, you talk
about three different ways that the Lord
delivers His Word. TB: Right. EP: Would you talk to us
about those? Because that fits into what we're
talking about here today. TB: Well, one of the- it's
not limited to the three ways, but these three ways
are huge in the way God speaks. And one of
them is just through, through creation and
through His creative works that God literally
left His signature. He signed His
signature on everything. Now, as we stomp around
Africa and all of our orphanages and whatnot, I
see zebras and all that. I've never seen, you
know, made by God that was written on
them. But if I look, I can actually see
the character and the glory of God within
it. And it's not just a hint. It's the reality of
how they interact. And we learn there's like,
there's a parable and everything
going on around us. But the stars, the
creative realm of the stars is even much
more detailed than that, because when you look at
how the heavens declare the glory of God, it
declares it through the pictures, through the way
that the constellations interact with each other,
through which planets are within the constellation
and how the sun travels through the 12
constellations that we know as signs. EP: Yes. TB: Now you go,
okay, hang on a second. You can't say the word
science. No, you can. Do you know that the very-
the reason why God created all the sun in
the moon and stars? He gives a verse in the
14th verse of the Bible, Genesis 14. It says, "And
God created the sun, and the moon
and the stars." And then it
says, "For signs, for seasons, for
days and for years." The first, the very first
reason that God created our perspective of
all the stars, I should say He actually created all
the stars with our perspective in mind, which is what
the firmament is. If I can just touch on
that and just tell you the firmament means that God
considers your field of view in everything
He brings to you. Okay, so when
you're a four-year-old, he brings your
four-year-old stuff, and He places it within
your certain field of view. And just
exactly like that, you know when
you're twenty-one, he brings you
twenty-one-year-old stuff. But where our planet is
positioned in our solar system and where our
solar system is positioned within our galaxy, He
positioned us and He built everything in the universe
so that when we look at those things, it is unique
to our position because He has a unique
story to tell us. What a really good example
and proof of that is a solar or a lunar eclipse. We are probably normally
the only place in the entire universe that
actually has an eclipse. Like that does-
that's not common. No, it's not why? Because the sun is exactly
four hundred times further away than our perspective
of the moon and the sun is exactly four hundred
times bigger than our perspective on the moon. EP: That's pretty amazing. TB: It is crazy!
So, when they get together, they line up perfectly.
But that's- was built for our perspective.
There's no other place in the universe that has
an eclipse. EP: And so, this is
all very, this is ancient because
this goes back to the beginning of creation. TB: It does. EP: Why do you think the
Lord chose to communicate to us through the stars? I mean, that was like one
of His first ways that He talked about the
story of redemption. TB: Well, there's a lot
of different reasons. I mean, it is, it
is cyclical. There is a timeline involved in it.
It's predictable. It works like a clock. But more than that, before
God wrote the Word of God in your heart when He is
still writing His Word within your heart.
And someday, Emily, the Bible says the books
will be opened. okay, and we know that
we are walking epistles, right? That we are
living epistles as Apostle Paul says. Before it was being
written within our heart, it was written
in the word, right. The actual book before it
was written in the book. It was written
in the heavens. God didn't tell
Brother Abraham, Hey, open up the book
because there wasn't a book for him to open
up. And that all began with Moses, right? What He said was, "Go
outside and look up and let me show you
what's going to happen!" EP: And that's- it doesn't
matter where you are in the world, you can
see that you're not constrained to
a book, right? TB: Well, this Psalms 19
says and in verse three, it says "There is no
speech or language where their voice is not heard." Everybody has access
to the midnight sky. Everybody does. And so, the Lord tells the
same thing over and over and over again. And as He reveals it
from season to season, we get a whole new
layer of revelation of His amazing goodness. EP: So how did we, as
the body of Christ, lose this understanding of
the Lord speaking through the heavens? Because I know we
referenced this earlier that astrology grabbed a
hold of it and things that are not of God, and
we're in the process of reclaiming it. How did the
church lose it? TB: Well, we lost it
several different ways. Part of it, if I can
just be very frank, is lazy and
cowardly faith, just don't want to search
out the things of God. "Ah, it's a little bit
weird. I don't think I'm going; I'm going
to look into that." But more diabolical than
that is beginning with the Egyptians. They didn't
glorify God with it. And then the Babylonians did not
glorify God with it. And then it passed down to
the Medes and then down to the Persians and then from
the Persians down to the Greeks and from the Greeks
to the Romans. And when, they knew God, they
glorified Him not as God. Neither were they thankful
but professing themselves to be wise. They became fools and
they became unbelieving. So, what happens is you
can actually make your own religion out of seeing
the things of God and not glorifying God
with those things. "I'm not interested
in that whatsoever. I will never consult the
stars to tell me who am I? My identity comes from
King Jesus as Jesus is revealed to me." But how I perceive things,
those things should glorify the Lord and I
should be able to find Jesus through those things
as it's His creation. EP: Let find them anywhere
else in creation. And when we come back, Troy is
going to pull back the curtain on the story of
redemption written in the sky. You're not going
to want to miss it. [Music] EP: Welcome back
to "Something More" and Troy, it's story time.
TB: Okay. Peel back the curtain for us.
Walk us through, where is the story of
redemption in the sky? TB: Well, there
are eighty-eight constellations throughout
the heavens that are actually recognized. Right. But there's only 12 that
are- that fall into the category of a
sign, like, what is it that makes it do
that. The sun has to pass through it.
So, there's only 12 major constellations
that the Lord causes the sun or the
ecliptic to pass through. And so, whenever
we look at that, we know that that's
incredibly strategic. So, the story is, the
story of those 12 signs that the sun goes through. EP: So, 12 constellations
in another way to say it. TB: Twelve constellations. EP: So, signs,
constellations we're using. TB: Yes, ma'am. And we know that
that represents perfect government or whenever
God is in control, Twelve disciples,
twelve tribes of Israel, 12 months in a year, 12
major constellations, right? EP: Right. TB: Okay, so 12 hours a
day, 12 hours a night. Okay so whenever
I look at that, I'm like, OK, Lord, I need
to know now if this is a story and if it has a
beginning and if it has an ending, I need to know
where the beginning and the ending is,
because it's cyclical. It goes over and
over and over again. And this is why
we can never, ever, ever consult
a witch and say, okay, well, tell me
what, what's lining up? Because they say it starts
off in one place and they say it ends in another
place and they're wrong. And the reason why they
don't know the beginning and the ending is because
they don't know the beginning and the ending.
And His Name is Jesus. EP: Right. They don't know
the story to begin with. TB: Yeah, that's
exactly right. So, that means they're
always out of sync. If any time you
consult a witch, you are always out of sync
and they don't know it. And that is a
definition of a curse. In Deuteronomy,
twenty-eight or twenty-nine, it says in
Deuteronomy twenty-eight, it says, "In the
morning you would say, I wish it was evening. In the evening you say
I wish it was morning." Meaning you'll be out of
sync if you don't know me. So, I began to do this
huge search years ago, I need to make sure I know
where it begins and where it ends, because in the
Bible it begins with the promise of the seed of
the woman and it ends with Genesis, Chapter three,
the very first messianic promise. And the
last one is Genesis, chapter twenty-two, which
is Leo, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah coming back. And I'm like, I bet
anything. It begins in Virgo and ends
in Leo. Okay? EP: The two constellations. TB: Yes. One represents
a virgin woman, right, who has a seed in her which
is absolutely impossible. Right. Messianic promise. And then and then I
believe it's going to end with Leo, but I've
got to check it out. So, we began a
huge study on it. And of course, it does. But know this,
the ancient Sphinx, you know the Sphinx, okay? EP: Ah, by the
pyramids in Egypt. TB: Yes, Leanna, Leanna
and I traveled to Egypt. We went there. We
did this huge study on it. And the Great Pyramid is
actually an astrological structure. It tells when the
winter solstice begins, when the when the
summer solstice begins, it's an astrological
structure. What is out in front of it is this,
this thing that's supposed to be guarding it.
It has the head of a woman and the
body of a lion. The head means
where it starts, like the head of the year. That's a that's, and
that's a Middle Eastern term for the beginning,
the head of a woman and the body of a lion. So, it goes all
the way back. Even before the Egyptians,
they knew exactly where, where this story
begins and where it ends. EP: Right. TB: And know this. The
word Sphinx means to unite or to join together.
It's where you connect the circle. EP: How fascinating
TB: It's crazy cool. EP: And who would have
known and even through a pagan culture-
TB: Yes, yes. EP: The Lord is speaking. TB: Yes, that's
exactly right. Because the earth was
still new then and the heavens declare
the glory of God. So, here- So, here we go. It begins with
Virgo, the Virgin, the promise that okay,
there is a problem within humanity, but I
will become human. Okay, the answer is going
to come in the midst of in the midst of humanity. And then from
Virgo, the Virgin, it moves into Libra. Now what is Libra?
It s the two scales. It says this, this, this
Messiah is not just going to be a human messiah.
It's not just God going to, going to become human.
He's actually going to be a redeemer, okay? He's going to bring
redemption- EP: To balance the scales. TB: To balance the scales. TB: And then what's the
next sign up? It's Scorpio. What does that mean? It means he's going
to take on death. He's going to go
to war with death. "Oh, death. Where
is your sting? Oh, grave, Where is your victory?" Right, man. I love that. And then what
happens after that? We'll see, whenever we
study the names of all of the stars that are,
that are involved. When we look at how far
away the light years are, whenever we look at
the actual pictures, we discovered that
this redeeming Messiah is actually going to
lay down His life. But Sagittarius
says He rises again, and He conquers death. So
now He's on a horse. He's on a
horse of victory. He is actually targeting
the heart of the scorpion, which is a star
that's called Antares. EP: Wow. TB: Okay, and then
what's up after that? This very strange sign
in heaven that's called Capricorn. What is it? The first part of
it is a sacrifice. And out of the sacrifice
is a people or a fish is coming out of
it, a living fish, right? And we know
that we are the fish that are
caught within a net. Then what
happens after that? Aquarius, the power of the
Holy Spirit is poured out upon all flesh. Right? EP: This is a story here! TB: The water bearer. Okay,
then what's after that? Pisces, what is that? The
people will multiply, and they will bless the earth. Its
multitude of fish, right. After that is Aries.
His kingdom will come in. His will be done.
This is the church. But you know what
happens after Aries? Jesus comes back. Taurus the bull on the
unstoppable momentum of Jesus Himself comes back. And then after
that is Gemini. When we see Him, we
shall be like Him? The twins, His
Holiness is our Holiness. His righteousness is
our righteousness. After that is
cancer, the crab. And what is that? We are the
possession of the Lord. And He holds us
fast in His hands, and He will never, ever,
ever let us go. And then it ends with Leo, the Lion
of the tribe of Judah, Jesus Himself, ruling
and reigning. That story that has been revealed
throughout the Bible. Sixteen hundred years that
it took to write the Bible was in the heavens for
everybody to see all the time or every tribe
tongue, people nation. EP: You don't have to know
a certain language to see that you could get saved
just by understanding- TB: Absolutely! EP: - the story
in the heavens. TB: Absolutely. EP: That's extraordinary. And it's been right
there all this time. TB: Yes, ma'am, it is. Still is. EP: Still there and still
the Lord is still speaking every night through
it. And when we come back, we're going to
discover what else the Lord is communicating
in the sky, next. [Music] Download
the Free ISN app today. [Music] EP: Well, welcome back
and Troy, we've just walked through
this amazing story of redemption that the Lord
has written in the stars. Are there other messages
that He's communicating to us through other stars? Because there's all sorts
of stars in the heavens. TB: Oh, my goodness. There's so many awesome
constellations and they're so dramatic and they
tell so many really cool things, like, everybody-
0ne of the easiest ones to find is a wintertime
constellation. It's called Orion and- EP: Orion's belt.
TB: Orion's belt. You got that. And
it represents so many different things. But
the word Orion literally means the shining
light. So, it's "arise," Your- TB: & EP: "Arise, shine-" TB: -"For your light has
come." Before. that was
ever in the Bible that was actually written
within the heavens. And if you study
the names of stars, if you look, it's got
the Ephesians six armor on them. There's
all kinds of crazy stuff. But here's
what's really cool. Scorpio is the huge
summertime constellation and it's so
beautiful and it's there. Now, we know that Scorpio
represents the battle that we have with
sin and death. But here's what's amazing. They're exactly
12 hours apart. So, whenever Orion
rises, you can never, ever, ever see Scorpio
in the same exact sky. So, when Jesus shows
up, death has to go. EP: Wow, okay,
that's amazing. TB: That's explained all
the way through the Bible, but it's explained every
year through the drama in the way that the stories
move throughout the heavens. Another thing that happens
is there's this crazy cool constellation called
that's called Cassiopeia. And she is a woman.
She's a, she's a queen and she's sitting on her
throne. But when she rises, she's completely
upside down. Her world is messed up. But by the
time the Orion rises, she's gone around Polaris
and she's seated rightly. She's made righteous whenever
King Jesus shows up. That's pretty cool.
It's the Bride of King Jesus. It's the story of you. It's
the story of me. Right. I was mentioning Polaris
and I love Polaris, the North Star. And if I was appointed if
I was to if I was to say, Emily, look, that that is
actually the North Star, you might say, "Well, that's
not very impressive. It's not a
very bright star. It's not really beautiful. It's not in the midst of
a bright constellation. What is that?" It's
very easily missed. Even though
everything rotates around, it is the most important
star in all the heavens, and it represents
the throne of Jesus. Everything rotates around
the throne of King Jesus, right. King Jesus sit
in in His authority ruling and reigning.
The Prince of Peace. Yeah! But you have to have the
seven stars of the Big Dipper to
point out to you. You have to
have the church, the seven stars. I'm the one that holds the
seven stars in my hand. EP: Aaah, like the seven
churches of revelation. TB: Yes, ma'am. And
so, whenever you see that, you have to have that. What is the job in the
role of the church it is for us to point everybody
towards King Jesus and go look at Him? And then once you see
him, you're never lost. Once you see the North
Star, you're never lost. You know what
true north is. EP: That's amazing.
This is like watching almost like watching
a play. It is like you have all these scenes and things
cycle in and out and a sense of drama and mystery. TB: There's so many-
and it is dramatic. It's meant to be dramatic. It's meant to
catch our attention. It's meant to
cause us to go, "Wow!" So, what does He say?" He says, "Day unto
day He utters speech, night unto tonight
He reveals knowledge. He's like," I've got
something I want to show you. EP: Yes. TB: And you've
got to see this. And I want you to
spend time with me. Right. And we have to
search out the matter. Again, it's all about that
relationship and is what I love is that the Lord
didn't wait for us at the Tower of Babel.
Babel had all the different languages developing. And maybe there
wasn't a written language. TB: Yes. EP: I don't know. But the Lord made
provision regardless. TB: Yes. EP: So, even today- I
was that obnoxious kid in theology class who is
like, what about all the lost tribes and all those
people didn't hear? Well, here you go. TB: Here you go. EP: It's up
there in the sky. TB: It is, and the story
is there so any place in the world anywhere. And that's what
the Bible says. There is no place where
their voice is not heard and understood.
And there may have been an American Indian right
here in the United States way before it was the
United States thousands of years ago. And
he looks up in his spirit. The Lord breathes upon
his perception of how he sees the heavens. You know, the, the
famous Nordic tribes. They followed the wild
goose through the heavens. And we know that if you've
ever seen like a Scottish cross, that's not
an actual cross. It's actually a
constellation. EP: Really?
TB: Yeah, it's actually it's actually the
Northern Cross. And whenever the- and this
is what they got out of that, they said somehow
when I look at this cross in the heavens, I'm
supposed to follow God that way. And that's
where the term wild goose chase comes from. EP: Really? TB: Yeah. Because you
can't tame this. He's going to show up. He's
going to say, "Follow me." And then can you imagine
how easy it was to convert those people whenever the
first Catholics showed up and they had a
cross and they said, Jesus says,
follow me, right? EP: Yes. Well, they
had already received that message in the heavens. Oh, it's just
absolutely incredible. EP: So, if people
want to know more, how should they go
about studying this? TB: Well, you can't
study. There are lots and lots of books,
including mine. EP: You have a
book called, Looking Up. TB: I do, I do.
EP: Great book, TB: I thank you, ma'am. But, you know, this stuff
is all over the Internet. It's so easy to find and
it's free and you can look it up. And it began
years and years and years ago with E.W. Bullinger, doing an
amazing work up on it. And so, the
witness of the star- also a guy by the name
of Albert Schweitzer, wrote a book on it
one hundred years ago. Amazing work. EP: Because the names
of the stars are all the same, still right
there. No matter how old the work is. TB: That's exactly right.
The names and the pictures of those stars are
still the same. We know that God names
and numbers the stars, okay? EP: It says
that in the Word. TB: It says that in the
Word of God and they all still have ancient
Hebrew and Arabic names. So, when you look up the
names of the stars and every single constellation,
the firmament gives us the details- are the handiwork. EP: Handiwork of God. TB: Yes. EP: This is extraordinary. TB: It's incredible. EP: Well, Troy,
this has been amazing. And as we are
wrapping up today, would you just
pray for our viewers, for those who have a
desire to hear the Lord in any way that
you can speak? TB: Well, Father, God, I
just want to just lift up every single person, God,
that is watching this, and Holy Spirit go to
every single one of us. God, give us
an eye to see. Give us an ear
to hear, Sir, and give us a
heart to know you. I know, God, that that's
what you want to do. Into that, Sir. We
say yes and amen in Jesus Name. Amen. EP: Amen. Troy, this has
been amazing. Thank you so much for
sharing deeper levels of revelation with us. And if you want
to know more, start searching it
out for yourself. Get a copy of Looking Up ,
get some of these other resources and partner
with the Holy Spirit, who is the great
teacher in this endeavor, because the Lord is
speaking and He's speaking through creation and He's
speaking through the sky all the time. [Music]
And we want every message
that He has for us. And so, thank you for
joining us today on "Something More." And we will see you
next time in the studio. [Music]
