Turkish Airlines BUSINESS CLASS (full tour of New Istanbul Airport Business Lounge)

laughs no matter what no strike all the camera really still like I couldn't laugh so you are just a word today we are traveling 30 hours from Jerusalem to be gone Myanmar with a little unexpected luxury along the way around 30 hour travel day is off to a strong start got on the wrong bus it'll get us there it's just gonna take twice as long [Music] my bus was the first of many modes of transportation [Music] made it to the airport train just in time I waited to the conductor he is laughing at us [Music] all checked in for our first night it's gonna be a big day the fact that we are going to Myanmar this morning is a little bit of a miracle considering that I remember last night at 10:00 p.m. that we needed a visa and it's supposed to take three days eight hours later we have them ready to pay a bunch of money for the rest service but the important thing is we're going to be a part we've officially been stamped out of this country and I can't believe we're already leaving we didn't come here with enough time to begin with and then we got off to a little bit of a rough start so we didn't get to see everything we wanted to but next time the Dead Sea the desert the West Bank and all the food and back into Jerusalem and back to top it was so good I just I'm already sad thinking about the fact that I'm never gonna have hummus that good again until we come back here [Music] I just booked the hotel that we're staying at tomorrow night when we get to Myanmar do you ever have those times in life where you have so much going on that you feel like you can't do anything 100% that's where we are right now I'm usually like a little scatterbrained in the last minute but we're cutting synthase really close here [Laughter] [Music] and now we have five hours here in Istanbul before we board our next flight unfortunately we're not going to the big beautiful Turkish Airlines business class lounge because I am 11 miles short of Star Alliance gold status 11 to put that in perspective who for people who don't know much about forego flyer miles it takes 40,000 miles to get Star Line's gold status 11 it's gonna be great sometimes friends are better than frequent flier round last time we were here we only had about 10 minutes this time we have five hours so we're gonna try to do a better job of showing you around Assange is huge and super nice but by far the best part is the food the back of the lounge there are several chefs and making Joe preparing one of our favorite dishes in the country turkish PA there's also a service station an entire island of little Betsy the Bob countryside butter hibachi grill traditional Turkish moussaka drinks and more drinks Monte or Turkish ravioli can't cut by this lady I love this entire lounge is basically one giant open kitchen turns with coffee stations with Turkish coffee and tons of delicious dessert as far as non-food related things go there are napping pods I'm having way too much fun asleep right now popcorns a [ __ ] a place to keep your kids entertained remote-control cars video games tons of TVs there's even an art gallery they still have it I thought they'd gotten rid of it last time we were here I thought they'd get rid of the driving range this is my favorite thing about the old louse probably the only place in the world where you can hit golf balls in the airport for free and some re not a bad place to spend a few hours this is one of those lounge visits it's going to go by way too fast [Music] [Music] this day just keeps getting better and better now we have to think this is probably the most excited I've ever been look at this and we just gotta make like a hippie I already gave way to excited about a business fast but like my expectation is that we're so low that's waiting I'm like trying to sleep for nine hours thanks to a random stranger in the middle section and now I have all this fake hands that's our amenity kids Saachi line twice this is the first time we've ever gotten two different Mexicans and this is 100% the most beautiful packaging give me this bag no matter what's in it smells like lemons Oh hair time this is the most useful piece and I've ever received in a minute I don't even know what else is in here I know that sounds traumatic but your products refreshing painting next I can't wait to smell this like the whole plane is gonna smell like this soon lotion with the same spray this for - this chef just asked us what we wanted for general we've been having so much fun we have the mummer's reds and mini again sorry for the break fuzzy [Music] please wake me up right now and please do not start sitting on your chair and then they know not to wait I can't believe how great this is this is the best minute again we've ever gone oMG this Versace back thank you I wonder what's in it all right so the Sox are actually really nice kids fresh strangers oh nice like foamy Ivan oMG is just perfect oh I must spray this all myself make the whole plane spell it's a very nice a minute again I just don't usually use lotion and burn theater whereas I've shaved like every lotion I've ever gotten into me kid [Music] it smells so good on this planet of all the airlines that would corner on earth each has presentation there's a chef wheeling a cart down the aisle and all the appetizers like that it's the only airline that we've ever had a candlelit dinner on plus a little mini software participation [Music] full of nitrates to electrons a little bit of check mark or the relation of us to lunch I can attract economist practice [Music] run away we just had fried rice and coffee for breakfast with a lot of chilies spicy for our rice and coffee very is breakfast time in our bodies with lunch time here it's time to bore our last by the judge two hours to peel our put the first ones on the plane this is so good we were the last ones at the gate just gonna put on my slippers and get my economy lights we got a whole row to ourselves and then I went in between those business-wise could these travel day be any better I see if there was - chatter - it's down to the part about fighting behalf of Bangkok Airways and our co-chair partner Jonathan and his crew the launch of the thank you for fun whatever look forward to see you again to cover by sense dated by after over 24 hours of travel on buses trains multiple planes we have made it to Mandaue but this is not the end of the journey so our final destination is begun and it's just a short flight from Mandalay however there was no way to get there on the same ticket from Israel so we would have had to book a separate domestic flight pick up our bags recheck our bags go back through security wait for the plane get on the plane arrive get our bags again find our taxi and then get to our hotel so booking a car for the three and a half hours drive sounded much simpler and for four hours in a private car it's crazy cheap so we're currently in Rupa gun this is crazy we're just driving down the road and now there's some big parade going on that we think has something to do with like the monks going to the monastery like the young monks everyone's all dressed up and there are elephants I didn't I didn't even know there are elephants in Myanmar it's beautiful we're just driving through some little down and just stumbled upon this [Laughter] [Music] I think they are just as amused by this I forgot a sweep of people are here it's just all waving and we're taking pictures of them they're taking pictures of guys relay into the parade thank you for stopping minute we have the bathroom kara desk and most importantly [Music] it's all been uphill or downhill last time I said that people I said it's all downhill from here people so that was bad well so uphill it's all uphill from here like you're looking up but downhill could be easier like you're on a bike it's all downhill from here that's positive so it just depends on better hurry yeah goodbye
