TURKISH AIRLINES SHOWDOWN: Business Class vs Economy | Istanbul - London

might as well finish it now got lost bit thirsty boy who's happy now ready to impress forget the rest say yes to the best in the flesh no need to look further i'm the top of the game flat girl see the chain any scream on my name good morning good morning we are at the brand new huge istanbul airport and today we're flying on turkish airlines we're flying on that a330 from here to london in both classes i'm flying economy oh my god that means i'm like business now the airport is rather huge look at how long it is going both ways it is massive uh but business class passengers there is this priority entrance at door five so i'm gonna just said goodbye to nick here took this private lane over there this is the economy one doesn't look too bad like big and clean let's check it out and you are here in this massive space all very clean and easy and check in for turkish airline economy class it's just over there have these fancy little benches where you can sit down to check in have to do this hi hello welcome [Music] business class check-in was a dream i mean who gets to sit down on a sofa while they're checking in it's great had some cheeky chocolates gonna get this in my job in a second and now i'm gonna go to the fast track lane which is just over here and head through and check out the lounge someone left a belt how can you forget your belt [Music] this airport is so big that you can take a buggy to take you around the gates and just be careful with these buggies because otherwise you're going to get run over 20 minutes walking from one side to the other five minutes 35 minutes oh a lot nicer [Music] it's trying to find my flight wherever i'm going to london london yeah london [Music] it's okay i just wanna i wanna walk from here oh i just wanted to live okay okay thank you [Music] [Music] yes [Music] it really is outrageous the food here so there's a whole huge salad area going all the way back down there is turkish dining round the corner is desserts and here is the gourmet area where they're making fresh food baking fresh bread there's tea in turkish coffee areas down here it's really really impressive and of course no lounge is complete without golf great start [Music] not the game for me even the toilets are rather posh that oh you want me to take it oh it's a present look at that thank you very much turkish coffee turks delight delicious okay spin already 19 minutes and i'm still walking not even close to the last gate and i've realized that up here is where the business class sits i can have a look from above and guess who is up there i seem to have spotted a little man down there look who it is hi how is business it's so nice up here this is quite weird i'm watching you down there watching me watching you watching you watching me i don't know i'm gonna send you a gin and tonic how about chocolate yeah i'll have a chocolate actually is he actually gonna do it down there ready one two three from business class thanks nikki i'm gonna go to the case shop bye and these are the perks you get from having friends flying business class we're all passengers to london okay about to get on board of us kind of late hi hello how are you i'm great thank you and i'm just going to 6 8. [Music] [Music] and this is turkish airlines in economy class i found this row here all three so i'm gonna make the most of it let's start with the siege enough leg room and if you combine the full reclining with the footrest it's actually really comfortable um i quite like this head adjustment here actually stay still so you can rest your head kind of okay with sleeping there's some adjustment for height as well which is really nice and this is the seat right in front of me kind of old looking but still touch screen and plenty of options many things so far i've only been given this pillow here headphone here you know it's new when it does last long noise cancelling but it blocks a lot of the sound and it's for free so i'll say very very good massive actually look at this it's super cosy [Music] youtuber content maker and scared of coronavirus so first impressions the cabin is pretty wide spacious it's five rows in the 222 configuration on this a330 um and we get loads of legroom there's a nice under ottoman storage like quite big there keep your shoes in it keep computers magazines and stuff and then also two more storage areas here i've got my antibacterial wipes and my headphones in here very handy there's also a little [Music] coat peg [Music] actually this looks quite chic yeah pretty good and they're quite comfy pillow nice cover on it not sure i love the color [Music] metal bloody mary please did you do bloody mary yeah i don't have vodka whiskey beer and wine spreads mine i can have red wine face turkish french turkish [Music] okay finished my food everything was pretty good actually not the best main meal i've ever had in economy but perfectly fine this yogurt was probably one of the best things i've ever had in the economy really delicious didn't have to pay for it which is really cool and here is my coffee also for free very happy [Music] thank you very much [Music] nice metal smoke sounds lovely i have these sweet little salt and pepper puffs these might have to come in my bag with me later making your life difficult might as well look at all of them actually oh i think we're gonna go meatballs they look they look really nice so it's quite rare that you get a chance to see all your main courses and they couldn't have been more helpful they just wanted me to have a look and choose the right one it was between the chicken and the meatballs but actually i think the meatballs look really tasty that is actually delicious [Music] okay let's turn the seat into a bed and see how comfy it is pretty flat pretty comfortable blanket ready for a snooze [Music] only 35 minutes before landing i think it's a good time for the call bell challenge let's see how far the crew comes home hello have a coffee please yeah thank you that was faster thank you the lights are [Music] um on go to get the bloody mary yeah please thank you that was not slow seconds crazy thank you that's great okay let's go [Music] somebody thirsty uh just a tomato juice smell something else [Music] god lost this thirsty boy who's happy now and that was turkish airlines from istanbul to london on the a330 in business class in economy class done
