if you're like me and you started to play pal rolls on the Xbox game pass but you decided that you really like the game and you want to purchase it on Steam here's how you can transfer your save file from Xbox game pass to steam so you can continue your progress on Steam so to do that the first thing that you need to do is you'll have to download a specific software it is linked in the description of the video it's called the Xbox game pass save extractor essentially what this software does is extract every single game pass game save file that you have on your system right now so you're going to go over to the right side where you see releases you're going to click on the latest one it's going to open up a new page you're going to scroll down to where you see the exe you're going to click on it and it's going to download that EXE the next step is that you're going to click on it and it's going to open up a command prompt it's going to say install supported games Power World save file for user and this is my user code and it's going to extract it and it's going to be in a zip file so if I go back in the folder you're going to see that I know have a zip file which wasn't there but because of the extracted um the save file extractor it extracted all my save file right here so what we're going to be doing is we're going to open this up I'm going to be using seven zip so I'm going to right click go to show more options then go to seven zip and I'm going to extract two and it's going to create a specific folder for what I extracted from here we're going to go into that folder and these are my two save files I have two worlds and I'm going to go into the this one right here next what we want to do is locate the save file for the steam game so if you have it on Steam what I suggest that you do is open up the game and play it for at least 5 minutes so that it Autos saves and creates that save file now what you want to do is go to search you're going to type run click on it and then you're going to type in this code local I mean percent Local app data percent once you do that press okay it's going to open up this folder you're going to search for pal once you find it click on it then you're going to see saved go down to save games you're going to click on this and then click into your save file as you can see we have the player and backup if we go back to the folder that we extracted which was this one right here let me put them side by side the one on the right is the one that I extracted from my Xbox game pass and this one is steam so what you're going to do is Select everything from this folder and you're going to drag it into the Steam folder and then replace all files once you do that you should be able to load up steam so let's go ahead and start power world and you're going to see that I know have a a you know a good save file so I'm going to press close start and you can see that day 22 level 19 even though I just downloaded and installed steam you can see that I have 22 days and level 19 so pretty much that's how you transfer your save file from Xbox game pass to steam and you will be able to continue and enjoy your PayPal Journey
