Track-Built VW Corrado 2.0 16V - 90s Childhood Hero!

[Music] you wait here we're going for a lap good morning commerce welcome back to the channel welcome to something very special magnificent and beautiful because this is actually the very first time that the pancake member is joining for a lap we're actually i'm joining him for life after that we're going for pancakes if you want to find out what's all about check out the members section but in any case long story short we have here the amazing chrono 16 valve 16 valve yes because they have so many different versions you have the g60 you have the vr6 you have the basic ones so this is 16 valve we saw it previously here part up at apex because me she was staying here at apex uh for i think last week two weeks ago two weeks ago so it was constantly here a lot of people were saying also in the vlogs like commenting this is amazing car let's check it out from up close let's do a lab so this is what we're going to be doing so we can see here already project wheels uh nanka gear 1 tires endless pads pretty much actually the same combination that what we are running in our cars is basically like copy paste so i like it any other mods we see the ricardo pole position seats shot harnesses nice steering wheel like really 90s conform i would say yeah they're very cool and anything else that we cannot see no yeah the like stuff like anti-roll bar and okay so some minor suspension mods some kinematics stuff yeah yeah and uh there is a full cage coming okay but you have to do some adjustments to the car [Music] nice well let's hop in do a lap you're staying here we go for the lap later maybe i like the door cards i looked around for something that was that you just could buy and put on it but the only thing that's available is like golf and even shiroko i believe but corrado there's nothing so i just did it myself funny story because you said it was probably pace like what you're running yeah uh i pretty much did more simultaneously to the first ring tractor when you did it i saw ah for example like uh the power flex bushings yeah it was like that's a good idea i'll do that too nice and then it just went from there objects in mirror get just get chopped it's an old school mighty car mods yeah reference there's one thing i gotta say you pretty much nailed the seating position and the harness position yeah with this because i can actually lift my feet off the floor but i would not like be sliding forward it's it's like it's holding myself like really like in a roller coaster we're not even on the track yet but this is something that i really noticed because otherwise usually you lift your feet up and you slide downwards but the seat is tilted like in such a way backwards that's for me it's perfect so for other people obviously with their like the different type of body length or size it's it might be different but this like i'm already very much excited to go out to a lab so i see you have a jk how many laps you're doing approximately a year uh this is the first time i got the jk did you already like earned it back oh wow check that out yeah if that belongs to marshall then it's a really cool card so i believe i already did it twice okay so you have like 180 laps yeah 180 oh wow that's nice [Music] [Music] [Music] so so [Music] so [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] so so so so so so yellow are you connected no ah that's right well we can take this moment to appreciate the car and the driver because going flat out remote curve like 160 that was how was that well pressure i believe i should stop may be i i even know him i tried to restart the car have you tried turning it off and on again we just waited a few seconds yeah cannot see that i was losing anything no i didn't see anything either weird that never happened before yeah i believe we tried to keep going again [Music] well it's still working yeah you know what they say about old volkswagens they never die they only get lower [Music] so nice wonderful what i was saying until i got interrupted by the world pressure uh warning is that you're really dialed in with the car it's it's amazing that to see the actual there's 180 laps and probably a lot more obviously in the past that have contributed to actually using the whole track knowing exactly where every millimeter of the track and oh yeah makes lots of sound lots of noise and it was i would say it would have been a perfect sunday lap but at this saturday so it's it's it's it's wonderful so thank you very much for this experience and now let's go get the the well-deserved pancake yeah yeah well deserved and some cars somewhere but who cares about them when you have pancakes and pancakes
