no no that's not that when i woke up this morning this was not on my planned list good morning commerce welcome back to the nurburgring welcome back to the channel previously i did a lap in tesla model 3 and without a doubt it is one of the most successful videos ever for a good reason it was also one of the most impressive cars for me and i found myself window shopping for one so who knows what time will tell but the big conclusion was power great control great brakes shit suspension shit everything else okay on average but then again on try on the street you would not use those components but if you want to go on the track you should replace them and this is exactly what max has done so he dm me on facebook said like hey i saw your lap was cool and i think i have a solution so if you want to try out a modified model 3 then let's go for a lap so what we have here are lightweight rims 19 inch instead of 20 inch we're running cup two right tires yeah yeah so because before you came you set this on four s's but for this occasion we put cup juice on it this is also model as brakes okay uh aftermarket parts it's kind of a medium track settings also remove the heat shields and there are a whole bunch of different aftermarket arms here there's gonna be the trailing attraction arm camera forearm so it's like from mountain pass performance or uh it's mountain yeah yes and uh there is also kw suspension and then the bed the most important parts brakes massive yeah well they much larger they're three ninety millimeters 390 yeah this is this is massive we should definitely have no issues with with that yeah are they 34 and i believe the stock one as 28. yeah thickness is much larger and they definitely have a better lens here inside so that should work better forgot to mention the tire size it is 275 35 19 all around square setup which is like what 50 wider than the stock uh yeah no it's a 40 40 wider okay still a lot stock is 20 this is 19. yeah so it's a bit more yeah you have more sidewall which is great i think we need the same wing like he does yeah that would be great now the front splitter yeah stabilization completely off it's gonna intercept a bit but on ages and 100 again okay uh 100 100 okay didn't you want to switch it off more okay okay off we go um we're also doing 90 power at this point many people have asked previously how is the discharge dude come on look in your mirrors bro seriously the brakes are very good okay i hope you know when they will be not very good because die no no that's not that when i woke up this morning doesn't know any shit about what breaks i have then don't align this just check them sometimes too i ignore that maybe maybe not as far as i know it's calculating just brake temperature it's just there is no sensors so it's just using standard model all right less scary are you getting used to it okay it feels like a bit understeers no no it's actually a variable setup i like it we have a small speed limit here so just like taking it easy usually it would cool down the brakes but at this point it's actually they don't need cooling yeah do you feel they're still okay yeah they're good they're great okay off we go again this is yeah rubbing slightly so it's the tyres you think finger yeah yeah tires are rubbing against the inner arch so yeah the tires are very good and suspension is pretty well set up as well for the very first lap of the ring [Music] relax it's sunday yeah yeah i just don't have a seat belt and there is no handle on so okay that's minus 10 -10 yeah tires are getting hot yeah come on go bye well at least i'm happy that this time it's the driver excuse of having two hot tires and not faded brakes because this something can be solved yeah and uh by the way we have proven that uh regeneration and now it's orange but it became much later okay very well i think we're getting less power now yeah at least that feels like it yeah i think we lost like 100 horsepower probably right now yeah it's becoming radius so yeah that's one more project we're doing about uh making larger radiators so i hope mountain pass will be able to make it so it's just something you can just put on the car yeah and connect the pc and just use it so brakes are working yeah no awesome dude this is exactly what the car needed because like like i said previously brakes were shit suspension was shit now you change these things and it's i think you found it yourself it's a very impressive car dude thank you so much for that letting me experience this this is amazing mind blowing whoo well the only thing obviously uh we went out on cold tires uh so then they heated up halfway through the lap and they got too hot so ideally now you would come off the track and then yeah deflate the tires and then you would have ideal high pressure however oh another one thing i forgot to mention uh we finished with 51 of battery and we started with 90. so yeah almost 40. that's actually last time was probably 30 but that's because the regen breaking was completely off right yes yeah so that should have helped the battery but you do lose ten percent of power uh per uh per lap then in that case so without regen you can only do like two ish laps i say full power and with regen three to four maybe i think i calculated it should be around five percent that you can save if you're using a full region but you're definitely overheating earlier yeah that was the other hit only at the end okay and we added half a bar of uh pressure in the tires yeah so yeah yeah that's that's too much like i said they were getting hot but then again oh you have also the weight of the car that's working against you but man i want one quick fast forwards to where it all started i'm on the passenger seat because max wanted to drive himself as well um so a quick conclusion a verdict usually i don't talk about lap times but it's an inevitable thing to happen in the comments otherwise anyway so i checked the footage back we did 8 minutes 13 that's including speed limit in bright sides that's including most importantly 100 horsepower loss roughly of the overheating but overall very impressive um also yeah the tires were too hot so lots of not driving excuses but reasons now i know when last year tesla was here with model s testing model as played they also uh sent the model 3 performance out as well and the driver claims that he has done seven minutes 52 full lap this means roughly seven minutes 30 or some minutes 7 30 um bridge the gantry so with additional mods this car is absolute weapon so another thing uh so we now have seen that the car has brakes suspension it does it's absolutely great also the tires are great it's sticky it's perfect with 275 the biggest issue now that has to be solved by aftermarket parts providers is the cooling it needs to get a better battery either better cooling or the the liquid flow so that's something for companies such as mountain pass performance or unplugged performance to solve and that is going to be a great ring tool i was serious when i said that i want to buy one so we'll see where it's going to take us for now hope you
