Top 10 Game-Breaking Pokemon Glitches!

the other called mewtwo oh my god that's brilliant that actually sounds like such a bad idea i don't even know who you guys are i don't know what the hell is happening right now [Music] back in the day of day of day [Music] [Music] what is going on guys this is dobbs here bringing you another pokemon video and in this video i'm going to go over 10 game breaking glitches that are present in the real pokemon hell now some of y'all probably thinking that i'm talking about the distortion world of pokemon diamond or pearl but no i'm talking about a different kind of underworld that is even more sinister and scary let me introduce you to map 0x e7 the real depths of hell of pokemon if you somehow manage to step on the specific tile your character will be dragged down in the depths of hell while a very eerie tone plays here check this out [Music] pretty dang spooky right but of course this map tile is located in glitch city but you can't warp it in front of you by using the item expanded pack glitch but that's a whole other story of its own not even i really understand how that works but yeah if you ever wanted to know what pokemon hell looks like it was basically that this is it it looks it looks awful and that is why just for number 10 for this list it only gets even crazier from here [Music] now this next one is a fairly recent glitch that made your pokemon have a big advantage when used in the right conditions so with that said for number nine we have the symbiosis glitch now before we get into the glitch let me explain what symbiosis does regularly if you didn't know symbiosis is an ability where the user gives this item to its ally when the ally consumes its item but in pokemon xy this ability had a major flaw which caused a game breaking glitch if the user's ally is holding an eject button which is an item that swaps out the pokemon when it gets hit by a damaging move symbiosis will still activate but the user's item that it gives to his ally will be glitched to where it has two or three stacks of them on top of the pokemon so let's say the user symbiosis a leftovers to his ally after the eject button activates the next time that pokemon comes in it will have two to three or even four leftovers on it for the rest of the battle or until it dies which is pretty game breaking for pokemon battling especially for passover items like the life four because it will amp the pokemon's damage done by twice the amount which could enable you to do sweeps and other crazy things that weren't meant to be and what's even crazier is the fact that nintendo would never patch this glitch so it was allowed in tournament play and online play until generation seven so yeah it's a pretty game breaking glitch and that is why i just for number nine for this list number eight now this next one is going to be game breaking for one of the biggest stages is super smash brothers so with that said for number eight i chose the pokemon stadium glitch now if you didn't know the super smash brothers belly competitive scene there are five legal stages that are neutral and there is one legal stage that's a counter pick and that one legal counterfeit stage is pokemon stadium and the reason why it's legal is because really it's the only stage in the game that can mix up a set without disrupting the game too much and i put a big emphasis on too much because it really can't mix up the game with its notorious glitches and sometimes these glitches can be the winning factor for a humongous game just like the s2j versus club game as shine 2018 and i'll just let you guys watch it's hilarious here check it out go up 2-0 for the first time could we see oh what the hell are you kidding me the pokemon glitch in tough eight and shine unreal yeah so in pokemon stadium you can just go through the map at any point and like i saw just there it decided the game for that set and that that just sucks and humorous at the same time but yeah this is definitely a game breaking glitch and that is why just for number eight for this list now out of all the glitches on this list this is probably the most humorous one so with that said for number seven we have the zz az glitch now what if i told you there was a glitch pokemon red and blue that gave you a full party of exploding bulbasaurs yeah well that exists and to put it simply this glitch is an extension of the trainer flight glitch that allowed you to catch me in the game when you did a few certain inputs and flying and such but the difference with the zza zz glitch is after you did the trainer flight glitch you had to go encounter a ditto with a special stat of 251 and after that you would encounter a glitch battle and then your bulbasaurs will spawn with the move explosion for almost every move and there you go a glitch that spawns exploding bulbasaurs i never thought i would see the day and if you're wondering why the heck is called the zza zzz glitch not the exploding bulbasaur glitch it's basically because it changes your name to zza zzz and so on but i do think the nae should be changed to exploding bulbasaur glitch because it just sounds hilarious but yeah this is definitely a interesting glitch and that is why just for number seven for this list number six [Music] coming in at number six we have the skydrop glitch now we all hate being paralyzed in a pokemon battle but what if i told you there was a glitch that made you paralyzed permanently well back at pokemon black and white and black and white 2 there was a glitch that involved the move skydrop and basically if you're in a double or triple battle in your pokemon use skydrop on the target pokemon and then your other pokemon used gravity on the same target pokemon that pokemon would remain perfectly paralyzed until it fainted or the user that you skydrop fainted it was just a next level combo move that will keep the pokemon there paralyzed forever and on top of that statuses like burn or poison would remain active on the target pokemon so if you burn the pokemon it will literally just be there frozen until it dies from burn it was absolutely broken and probably one of the best strategies for double battling and that's why it was banned it was banned from random wi-fi battles and also the pokemon world championships it was just a nasty bug that was present in generation 5 and it even carried over to the sequel games because it was just never fixed so ultimately the move skydrop was banned from battling and thank god because that would just drive me nuts that would just be next level salt so yeah the sky drop glitch was definitely a game breaking move for competitive battling and that is why i just for number six for this list number five now this next one is another generation five glitch that was only present in the sequel games so with that said for number five we have the frozen zoroart glitch now in pokemon black and white too after you defeat the elite four and become champion if you go back to champions road there will be a random zorro arc there waiting for you and as you probably know this is in zoroark that leads you to the ruins of inn's castle but with this zor arc there is a major flaw you see in the japanese versions of pokemon black and white too if you don't follow the zorro arc all the way to the end to inn's castle the game will become soft blocked and the character that becomes soft flocked is not you but it's in fact a zora art that gets soft flocked in a certain area so let's say you're halfway there to inn's castle then you decide to teleport out the next time you go to champions road the zora arc will be stuck outside the cave just sitting there with a piece of dialogue therefore making it impossible for the player to gain access to inn's castle which is a pretty game breaking bug because pokemon black and white 2 is all about the post game and his castle has a huge plot line it just sucks and that's why justin for number five for this list it's just a frozen statue glitch that is game [Music] breaking in at number four we have acid rain yeah you heard that right there's such a thing called acid rain in the duration four games and here's how this glitch went down if any weather effect including trick room gravity and uproar but a speeding grain is in effect and if a player a pokemon heart gold soul silver or platinum uses pursuit on a pokemon and the switching pokemon dies on the same turn every weather effect in the game will activate hence the name acid rain and given the conditions of every weather effect coming to the battle at once only if you pokemon will be immune to the damage dealt on each turn like swinup for example with this ground and ice type it would be immune to both weather effects that deal damage per turn which would be sandstorm and hail or pokemon has the ability magikarp because that ability negates whether affecting damage but yeah acid rain is a pretty game breaking mechanic for pokemon battling and i would find it so hilarious if the cyto came in with cloud9 and just negated everything it would be looked at as the new rayquaza the god of all duck pokemon but yeah for those reasons that's why i chose acid rain for number four on this list number three [Music] now this next one is a glitch that is present in every pokemon game and it will just break anything so with that said for number three we have the ferret god glitch now man when i found out about this glitch my mind was just absolutely blown and to explain this glitch as simply as possible i'm just gonna jump into it and showcase on what it does now in order to activate this glitch you have to go north australian city and [Music] now isn't that awesome like you can just like use this glitch to beat any pokemon game without even trying ferd is like the god of pokeball when it comes to glitches and that is why i just look for number three for this list number two [Music] coming in at number two we have the lumio city glitch now i'm going to make this destroying simple when pokemon x and y came out if you save the game illumio city in the north or south boulevard the game would corrupt and you would lose all your saved data and yeah that's basically it all you gotta do is save your game at a certain area and then boom your whole pokemon game was corrupted which probably made this game breaking glitch one of the most easiest ways to corrupt your game in pokemon history and due to how easy this glitch was nintendo came out with the patch 1.1 for pokemon x and y through the eshop to fix this glitch so that no one else could be hit by it ever and technically this proves that pokemon dlc was possible during the pokemon x and y era but it never happened which is kind of unfortunate but yeah this entire glitch was crazy all you had to do was save and then your entire game just got lost and for that reason alone that is why child for number two for this list [Music] now this next one is basically a game shirt that was inside the pokemon games ruby and sapphire because it was just so glitchy and crazy so for number one we have the pomegnano now the pomegranate was honestly the god of all pokemon glitches because it could just do so many things in the game and it all started with the fact that the pomegranate put the pokemon's hp under zero because it lowers the eevees of the hp stat of the pokemon and instead of going over how to perform the glitch and all that because it's very complicated i'm just gonna showcase a few things that the pomegranate can do so starting off this barry could spawn any pokemon you wanted like any legendary any mythical just any pokemon you wanted and if you were an eight-year-old like me this would have been a godly thing to know about because if you could spot it like a legendary ho-oh that was shiny that had perfect stats you would do it as a 10 year old you had no morals when it came to glitching pokemon the next thing you could do was literally rewrite the entire code of the game making it possible for you to warp to any area you wanted have instant wins for battles allows you to heal your pokemon with moves like water spout and eruption and even allows you to have instant wins for any battle so you just become the champion right when you start the game if you wanted to if you had access to the bowman berry that is and lastly it allows you to access pokemon beyond the slot 6 in your pokemon team and these pokemon will be glitch pokemon like the infamous bad egg and i'm sure to all my fellow game shirt users out there from back in the day you're probably very familiar with the bad egg and even the question mark little thing but yeah the puppet berry was insane for the duration three games and in my opinion i believe it deserves the number one spot for the most game-breaking glitch in all of pokemon and that is why i chose it for number one for this list it's it's crazy what a single berry could do to a pokemon game it was absolutely game breaking and there you go the top 10 game breaking pokemon glitches and before we end it off i just want to say this video
