what is up my friends tim the saints here hope you're having a beautiful day and today we're going to go over my top 10 most expensive pieces of clothing that i don't actually regret buying things that i think were 100 worth the investment even though they cost me an arm and a leg so grab yourself a cup of tea coffee protein shake whatever you're into sit back and let's talk fashion [Music] first up we have my prada chelsea boots these were actually my first high-end designer purchase and they were definitely worth the investment back when i first bought them i was sweating at the idea of spending 850 pounds on a pair of black boots but here's the thing black leather chelsea boots are by far my number one most worn type of shoe and when it comes to expensive purchases you have to look at the cost per wear if something costs a thousand dollars but you wear it 400 times that's only two dollars fifty cents per wear whereas if you spent a hundred dollars on a pair of shoes that you only wear ten times because maybe they hurt your feet or the leather cracks up after a few wears or maybe you just don't really love them that's like you're paying ten dollars every time you wear them and i have definitely worn these at least 100 times since i've gotten them as you can tell from my instagram feed i quite like them you can even see the back of the heel here getting a bit worn out from how much i've been wearing them so i'm going to need to take them to the cobbler soon just to get the back of the heel replaced but i just love how you can style black chelsea boots with almost anything you can dress them up dress them down they're just as versatile as white sneakers in my opinion if not more [Music] at number two we have my acne studios black trousers if you've seen my most worn clothing item video you know exactly what these are [Music] i'm a huge fan of black trousers and i used to wear the uniqlo ankle length trousers all the time literally all the time for the past four years until i found these so meet the upgrade the saint fam meets acne black trousers acne black trousers meet the fam they're high-waisted pleated with a center crease a slight crop and two-inch cuffs although like most of my pants i did get them shortened slightly so they end where they're supposed to they're made from a wool and mohair blend giving it a medium weight suit like texture i would say they are slightly less versatile than the uniqlo ones as they are a bit more formal but the silhouette of these is just impeccable i'll usually wear them with more elevated looks when i want to look a bit more elegant but sometimes i like mixing different styles together and pairing them with a more casual top half they'll run you for 270 pounds or 350 dollars which is not cheap for a pair of pants but for me i'm at a stage where i've refined my style enough and determine what my signature pieces are in my wardrobe and black trousers are one of them so i don't mind investing a bit more if it means i'll really love the piece and gravitate towards it often up next we have miami paris oversized sweater in white i love this piece what can i say you know just how much i love my white t-shirts and my love for white also applies to sweaters i'm a sucker for white and i'm a sucker for knitwear it's pretty short in the body and features a nice drop shoulder and a boxy silhouette i love how it sits on the body and how the hem isn't tight it's just nice and relaxed it's an amazing layering piece worn underneath a jacket or coats during fall winter but then can easily be worn on its own as a statement sweater during spring thanks to the bold red ami logo that adds that pop of color really versatile piece and for sizing reference i'm 170 centimeters and about 60 kilos and i'm wearing the sweater in a size extra small here there wasn't much difference with the small but i just like the length on this one a little bit more going for a slightly more cropped look by the way most of the items in the video can be found on farfetch and i'll put a link to each one down in the description and i'm actually super thrilled to announce that we are finally partnering with farfetch and you know what that means discount code for you guys for real though i've personally been using farfetch for the longest time they're my go-to retailer when shopping for luxury fashion so i'm really glad to be partnering with them i think they hold a great selection of products their loyalty program has some cool perks but most importantly the return process is the best it takes 30 seconds to request a return in-app and then have someone come pick up your package directly from your house the next day so no need to go to the post office just because of how seamless the returns are when i find items on other websites i would often then go back on farfetch and order them from there just in case i want to return anything okay on to the part you've been waiting for the discount code is tim15 you can use it at checkout to get 15 off of your order and i for one i'm definitely going to start using my own discount code i do have a few things in my wishlist so i might have to pull the trigger on them soon anyways on to number four guys this list just keeps getting better and better this jacket this jacket is you might have seen it on my reels on my tik tok on my instagram feed yes i've been wearing it everywhere and with everything it's made from 100 wool and it has a boxy oversized silhouette and a short length whenever i get a new jacket or coat now i always do the chunky sweater test if i can comfortably wear a chunky sweater or an oversized hoodie underneath then it's good to go i'm wearing an extra small in this jacket and it can comfortably fit my go-to cool box and hoodie so it passes a test with flying colors i think brown is the new black it's such a versatile color you can pair it with blue gray green with beige and other shades of brown with black the list goes on as you can probably tell by now the common theme between all of the pieces on this list is versatility if i'm paying a significant chunk of change on a piece i wanted to score high on these five criteria number one fit simply said it has to fit me perfectly number two design it has to be a well-designed piece with a great shape attention to detail something you just can't find in your average high street store three fabric what is it made of does it use polyester or is it made of 100 wool or cotton or cashmere the fourth criteria is comfort some fabrics can be itchy especially when it comes to wools and no matter how good an item looks if i don't feel comfortable in it i won't wear it and finally versatility will it integrate well in my current wardrobe does it suit my style and can i wear it with many different outfits this ami jacket hits all five of these criteria so it was a no-brainer it also comes in charcoal gray and it's currently on sale for like 30 off on farfetch and there aren't that many sizes left so if you do want it you might want to check it out quick at number five we have my acne studios 1996 straight fit jeans these are my go-to my bread and butter they're actually the only pair of blue jeans that i own i feel jeans is one of those things that once you've found a pair that you love you can stick to those for a long time which is what i've done i love everything about these jeans the color the fit the subtle distressing the acne 1996 are crafted from rigid italian denim and have been washed to a light vintage tone of blue they feature a mid-rise straight fit and are designed to be worn with a full break on the chute pro tip when getting jeans shortened you can always ask to keep the original hem so that you don't lose any of the details on the hem i really like this length on jeans where they break on the shoe but don't stack too much as it allows me to wear them with anything from sneakers to boots to loafers these retail for 320 dollars but when you account for cost per wear especially if they're your only jeans the cost could easily go down to a dollar per wear if not even less after a few years next up we have the michael ring from tom wood this ring is the epitome of understated elegance in my opinion it was love at first sight when i saw it i love my minimal jewelry and i had been looking for a signet ring that was not the classic circle or oval shape for a while and i really like the shape of this one the signet band is rectangular but with slightly curved edges simple yet sophisticated i wear it all the time as the design is subtle and timeless enough to complement most outfits i'll usually wear either this one or the cuban link from miyensai on my right hand sometimes both and then the square bar ring from miensai or this one from thomas sabo on the left hand also this ring is made from sterling silver but plated with white rhodium which is one of the rarest precious metals in the world well above gold and silver and it helps strengthen the surface and prevents tarnishing tom wood really has some excellent jewelry so i would highly recommend checking out their selection and if you're unsure about your ring size what i like to do is just order two or three different sizes and then return the ones that don't fit which is super easy to do with farfetch okay are you ready for the most expensive item on this list [Music] it's actually stupid how expensive this code is the fear of god chesterfield code comes at a whopping two thousand four hundred and ten dollars but i do not regret one penny of it this coat is an absolute beauty it has a relaxed oversized silhouette with strong padded shoulders giving it more volume at the top the outer is made from british cavalry twill giving it a heavyweight suit like texture but the inner lining on the other hand is made with silky smooth japanese cupro the design and overall silhouettes are incredibly thoughtful and make it a really versatile piece you can wear this coat with anything from suiting all the way to sweatpants as it can complement a wide range of different styles you can add it on top of a simple jeans and oversized hoodie look and it'll instantly elevate the whole outfit or you can wear it to complement a cozy tonal outfit staying true to the fear of god aesthetic big coats are by far my favorite kind of outerwear and this one has definitely become the centerpiece of my collection okay i think this code has gotten enough praise for me for one day we've got three pieces left to go so let's move on to number eight these trousers no introduction but i will give them that honor because they deserve it number eight we have the amplisee isemiyaki straight like trousers in black you've probably seen these infamous plates before they've been copied by the likes of zara in the past but no other copy has truly done them justice the signature fully pleated isemiyaki trousers are just gorgeous as someone who's into more of a minimal aesthetic with my style i just love how the pleated texture gives it that little something different that is so unique to the designs of isemiyaki but surprisingly although it is quite an uncommon texture i still find these trousers to be incredibly versatile i find that they look just as good suited and booted with the matching suit jacket as they do dress down with a t-shirt and sneakers they are in japanese sizing on farfetch so for reference i'm usually a 28 waist and i'm wearing a size one here and for all my short kings out there for once i didn't even have to bring them to the tailor the length was perfect off the rack which is pretty rare for pants i believe i originally got them for 300 or 400 and it was well worth it on to number nine [Applause] this one was a tough choice but at number nine i have to mention my off-white out of office low tops i'm not that much of a streetwear kind of guy and when off-white initially came out with the zip tie tag i didn't really vibe with it but i actually really like this specific model i love the tonal color palette i think beige and white go beautifully together and i would even say that the tonal signature tag adds a nice touch to the shoe giving it a cooler look than your classic white sneakers they're definitely more on the casual side though i wouldn't wear them with a suit or anything leaning on the smarter side but as a casual shoe they pair really well with jeans or sweatpants coming in at 570 dollars they're not cheap by any stretch and you can definitely find similar more affordable options for example i would look at the axel arigato orbit sneakers that come in some similar tonal color ways for about half the price or new balance also has the ml574s for 85 dollars but personally i just really fell in love with these i wear them all the time and i do not regret buying them which is why they've made it onto the list [Music] last but definitely not least coming in at number 10 we have my represent varsity jacket this is another category of item which i usually do not wear varsity jackets but this one from represent stole my heart it has a classic boxy fit with faux leather sleeves and wool ribbing at the cuffs collar and hem and i just love its silhouette color palette and the different patch designs it'll obviously fit seamlessly with more street wear looks but you can also use it to clash with a smarter outfit for a fan of minimalistic fashion this piece can be pretty loud in terms of its design with the patches and all but i feel like the monochromatic color palette tones it back down and allows it to be a surprisingly versatile piece at 400 pounds for a jacket it's actually not as expensive as some of the other pieces on the list but it is still a good chunk of money that i would say was well worth it in terms of sizing i would recommend going true to size i'm wearing a size extra small here and it fits perfectly i'm really looking forward to warmer weather fashion because i've been wearing this jacket mostly with hoodies and sweaters and i can't wait to style it with just a tank top or a t-shirt this spring and that runs up my 10 most expensive clothing items that i don't regret buying let me know in the comments which one of these items was your favorite which one would you consider getting for yourself links to the 10 items will be in the description and make sure to use my code tim15 to get 15 off of your order whenever you shop on farfetch my friends hope you enjoyed the video i wish you all a beautiful day and i will see you in the next video peace
