out I know that initially this might not be your thing but believe me when I say this is a surprisingly flattering color combination trust me I'm a professional the reason why it works is the softness of the pink allows for a feeling of playfulness while the neutral gray shade will seamlessly balance out the well pinkness speaking of I'd always recommend going for a cooler lighter shade of pink as this will always be more versatile than a fluorescent hot pink shade the easiest way to start with this particular color combo is with a pink top half and a gray bottom half like a pair of light gray flat front shorts or chinos as for the pink a foolproof formula for introducing new colors like this into your wardrobe is through a pattern short sleeve button-up shirt this is a classic summer item it's the classic color combo of Navy and white the depth of a solid Navy Blue paired with a clean white shade gives an outfit an instant air of sophistication just remember I'm talking about navy blue here not royal blue which is nowhere near as versatile when combining dark and light colors your outfit should always strike the right balance for example you could go for the classic business casual pairing of a white Oxford shirt with some Navy chinos or you could layer a Navy pattern short sleeve button-up shirt over a crisp white tea for a cool and Casual look however at this stage you might be asking can I pair a Navy top half with a white pair of pants and the answer is yes but approach with caution there are a lot of different Navy top half options to choose from like t-shirts polos and linen shirts but when it comes to white pants the only pair I recommend is some offwhite linen pants these work as a neutral canvas for the rest of your outfit and look particularly good when paired with a navy top hat if you do want to try this look however make sure you don't cheap out on those off-white linen pants as budget options are usually made from thinner materials meaning that
