No. Ticket Counter. Ticket Counter. Oh sweet I got the tickets so I got the tickets. I got the tickets hey toucan you already got me a gift brother thank you oh brother you didn't have to honestly wait let's show them the tickets yeah let's see what the tickets uh look like here so these are Ferry tickets yeah six rupees gets us on and uh it takes us around the city or where does it bring us it will take you to the other side of the river and this is how we get the incredible views [Music] that's the old one yeah on the left you will have the new one oh okay so the other day I went to the old one the stadium oh that's the new one yeah yeah yeah okay so there's a spot that locals hang out over there for the sunset yeah so this is a completely different place than I was when I went the other day the taxi driver dropped me off near the railway station at the old one okay foreign and are these like normal ferry boats right there yes oh good very nice there's a floating Hotel also so that one is a floating Hotel there it's called a floater I guess hotel and does it ever go down the river yes it's in the river but does it ever like fail oh okay wow you can stay there rooms that you can stay right there there's there's a boat just sitting there is it a boat or is it a structure in the water ah it's a structure in the water, not a boat exactly but yeah mayor in that time cruise ship that's awesome yeah it literally looks like a cruise ship you got a couple different levels and they they give you an incredible breakfast experience early in the morning they load you into a smaller boat uh like somewhere like this a little a little bit bigger than this one vocals bar right there yeah these are fishermen's they're fish that's amazing so they load you in that size boat with the breakfast and everything and a nice ambulance and then they let you save throughout their having enjoying your breakfast oh wow and how much do they charge usually per night for this place oh it's around 4 or 5 or 4K to 5K 4,000 to 5,000. Okay 4K to 5K is 12 times four to five so 48 to 60 dollars yeah super nice dad the bike accident yeah he's lucky to be alive now wearing a helmet that'll teach you a lesson to wear a helmet in the future yeah do you normally wear a helmet yeah I normally okay [Music] Oh wow so the train comes right through here so there's so much happening we've got the train we've got ferries coming this way we've got Bridges just the heart of Kolkata over here yeah definitely yeah yes the city of Joy exactly Joy Kolkata that's amazing and so what do you do for work brother so I'm basically a marketing professional so I work for you know I heard about Wipro uh yeah I think so like someone like TCS and all yeah yeah uh so I work there in the ID company in the marketing and strategy Department oh nice that's my engineering then the Masters and now I'm working yeah that's amazing it's a pleasure to meet you brother honestly it's so great yeah yeah a cool DM turned out to this two new friends yeah yeah he's a decade younger to me yeah yeah I met him through you know KKR itself right on this thing and then it went along like a younger brother yeah yeah that's amazing what's your guys's age difference then a decade age difference it's like around 21 I think okay same age then yeah yeah all right the 30 year old Club there we go right here this is what uh one of the types of fairies but there's multiple different types of ferries that go to like different uh spots all over here okay there it is yeah this is one of the things I was recommended to do when coming to Kolkata is go for a cruise right along the ferry right here because you can see both the bridges Here Andrew you just get kind of a break from the busyness of the city and see things from a different perspective right over here as you can see here the uh ferries just drifting right in this is the one we're getting on yeah all aboard All Aboard let's do it let's go let's do it all right so we're gonna see the docking up process here a lot of people getting out a lot of people getting off and we've got to move through here to hop on yeah all right there we go closer so there's a gap where you can see oh yeah basically saying bring it closer all right closer to the jetty wow look at this and does everyone Rush on because it's first come first served and if it fills up then basically you gotta wait for the next one yeah exactly probably not too busy yeah okay so we just find a good spot to stand Let's see we gotta Flex the muscles here gotta jump right up yeah all right here we go we're going straight up and we are on as you can see this thing fills up real quick we're gonna see if we can find ourselves a spot to uh all right slowly getting closer to the all right almost made it straight up there drifting in actually fairies run per day like are they just constantly going every 10 15 minutes yeah 10-15 minutes and then it goes on to late at night at the line wow almost around 12 13 hours wow and then basically the other way to get across is the Metro cross over the subway no the subway so they have built a new Subway so which goes underwater it goes underwater okay so they have recently tested it like 10 days before 10-15 days it's open no not open they've tested it basically tested operationally from you know within like after two-three months maybe two three months okay so on my next trip to Kolkata we're taking you in the underground Subway how's that sound brother good yeah the main commuter as you guys can tell here it's uh White packed on the boat here we waited around 10-15 minutes probably enough time to get the maybe not 10 minutes probably six-seven minutes get the boat packed up with people and now we are cruising off the uh Jetty here and heading out so now I understand why everyone rushes to get there because if you rush to get on there you can get one of these nice VIP seats up front we're second row here so we're almost there we can see pretty much what they all can see all right all right so we're getting a feeling of what it's like doing the uh daily commute here in Kolkata my friends very peaceful out here on the river this is a holy River actually that runs through uh Bangladesh as well so actually on the other side here is actually where I saw a local swimming when I crossed over the bridge in a couple videos ago and so yeah it seems like a lot of these areas especially if it's sunny out that's where a lot of people hang out in the afternoons sit by the river sometimes do some swimming maybe enjoy the sunset over here and yeah very very uh peaceful area inside of Kolkata looks like this one right over here is some sort of a houseboat or maybe a small Riverboat with like maybe rooms on it looks like that type of vessel yeah um we've even got a little mini water tower right there looks like a water tower at least so guys this Howard Bridge is a very unique one as you can see there's not a single pillar all the way across here and yeah it's basically yeah no pillage is the main thing and then one side is fixed and the other side's on Wheels because in the summer and winter, it expands and contracts so which side's the island is one of these sides an island no no like oh oh oh the bridge is the iron I thought you were saying one size in uh Island so oh okay okay so the iron basically expands and contracts basically in the hot and cold weather and that's what causes the shifts to open now they're fixing like open to allow the ship to pass so it opens too yeah no not now not anymore but it used the London Bridge it is open oh wow good so it used to open but not anymore so no large ships are allowed to go down that way anymore yes because if he was back one of the ship got stuck there and they have to cut the top part of the ship to allow the ship to pass oh wow so no larger ship are allowed to pass through that wow okay so that's why they probably see so many big ships docked down there and only the small ones that can fit under there are cruising down this way sort of there like two three Ferry stops to get us and that's the destination over there this is the first stop now next destination it's straight up that way yes okay all right we're getting close to the other side and it looks like a railway station the red one here yeah wow this entire all the way down to there yes that is the railway station see I barely remember it if you guys saw the Vlog when I took the train because it was like 4:30 a.m and all I could think about was getting to sleep but yeah the railway station is huge I do remember when I was walking through it there was so many tracks and platforms where trains could be coming in but it's really a very picturesque Railway here just all of the uh red color just really popping right out in the atmosphere or in the landscape uh of cold cutter right here on the horizon and coming up here you can see this must be one of the busier Ferry ports I mean one two three different platforms are just loaded with people waiting to get on the ferry all right we're coming in right now gotta make sure I don't drop this GoPro in the water what's the name of this Ferry plug this holiday station Fair report yeah it's a direct access right to the station there look at this that'll be two 300 people getting ready to hop on all right we're drifting right in all right let's see how we dock this thing up oh there we go all right we're gonna see how we uh drop this thing right there and see how good our driver is oh this guy grabbed it and look at this whoa it just jumped over the Gap do people ever fall through there no no no oh yeah yeah regular computers all right here we go we gotta go for the jump oh yeah all right that was great following your of the station out of the ferry station to the railway station and uh yeah very friendly people around here all right we're back here at Howrah station area I will say feels much better being in this area with a couple friends now because yeah last time I was here our buddy from the previous video was uh looking to get some free phones free iPhones but I'm not the vendor that gives free iPhones so yeah it's a cool place though we got markets all over here some suites how often you are you down here brother amazing and you took the toy train from uh yeah yeah the toy train is a great time yeah yeah did you do the steam or the diesel yeah it seems great I think YouTube is him right yeah I think this game the Steam was a great experience the taxi driver looked at me gave me the nod to see if I wanted I gave him the Dodge back he didn't expect it to the nod back you could laugh okay did something new I went like that look back yeah yeah he laughed [Music] all right this is Howrah wow yeah no I'm just kidding? left here yeah all right and here's the uh Howrah Bridge photography strictly prohibited yet everybody's taking photos so I'm a bit confused so yeah this place looks incredible you can tell it's a really old bridge what is like 50 60 years or more yeah more more than that I think wow more than that and no pillars it's just insane to have a bridge this long that has no pillars or support columns like a third of the way through or halfway through none of that and so they have all these did people used to jump off the bridge that's why they put up the barbed wire oh wow yeah if you like to jump off high places this would be a great place to uh swim I've jumped off a bridge not this high but uh actually probably that high that high yeah yeah uh in my home in the state that I grew up in Wisconsin I don't know if it was this High maybe it was I think it was about that high yeah [Music] it was like the shake it was the scare oh yeah yeah you can feel the shake yes wow whenever heavy Vehicles you can yeah you can feel the bridge moving it's rolling just a little bit on the wheels so as you guys can see the lights are starting to come on the bridge you got the yellow lights right over there for the traffic but actually over here on the side you can see some of the blue lights that are lighting up the bridge and kind of the orangish yellow that are uh gonna light up some of the like the trusses and the beams that connect the different elements of the bridge so really a uh a unique place to be we've got people walking to and from work we've got people carrying stuff just a lot happening you can really feel this place oh we've got another Foreigner walking down this way it looks like so yeah it's a uh a place where a lot of people come to visit and check it out all right and we are now entering in right under the Howard bridge is the largest flower market in all of Asia so this is massive I mean I wish Sean Mabel was here so I could get my fiance some flowers here but uh she's unfortunately not going to be here so we'll at least do a little tour see what uh they're like but really nice beautiful displays going through here and baby roses I know too bad I can't keep them for a long long enough to make it back to Lebanon wow wow so many and what is the most common use of flowers in India would you say yeah yeah all right well I better get her some flowers do we have uh roses in here where do we find some roses oh actually that's a great you know what I'll do I'm gonna I'm gonna buy her some flowers then I'm gonna give them to her virtually FaceTime around the video all right so we're on the hunt to see if we can find some uh roses around here are these roses right here you get the good one yeah good ones this way and how much should I expect to pay for a bouquet of roses 100 to 200 rupees okay okay there we go for Roses yeah your best bouquet brother good quality please yeah I think that's good now how much 80 rupees okay done your blood thank you no change brother we'll give it to some other people I'm gonna call her and give them to her now so what time is it let me try calling her from FaceTime I think it's like uh 6 p.m let's see yeah foreign guess what guess what my love I bought you flowers so I'm giving them to you virtually you like them yeah um they smell Thai Bean let me take a screenshot what a great view you could have given it to her yeah we got a great view right here yeah I was doing the Vlog with the boys here this is uh my bell boys hi yo yeah and I was like I was I was yeah I was uh vlogging and I was like oh I wish my bell was here so I could get her some flowers because we're in the largest flower market in Asia and I was like oh actually we're doing it virtually um almost utopic type of view right here oh we got a little local band playing some drums it sounds like in the distance but yeah right here actually the lights move on the bridge too so we've got the lights uh on the bridge there lit up we've got right over there we have the um looks like a dinner boat is that what that is down there at dinner boat going down sailing pull it up and then of course this just super beautiful pink uh view in the sky and as you can see the railway station and some of the buildings around it are just lit up in this neon light so you just have a lot of like beautiful different angles you can look at from this View so make sure you're if you're coming for Sunset make sure you're on the opposite side of where the train station is if you can't see this train station where the sun's setting or in the sunrise spots no you got to be on this train station side if you want to see the sunrise so this is how you have a romantic relationship while your fiance is in
