First Impressions IPL Cricket Match In Kolkata 🇮🇳

good afternoon my friends and welcome back to  another video here in Kolkata and in today's video   guys I'm here with the man the myth the legend  Harry I'm Harry from South Korea and   we became a best friend over here yeah we met  actually in a a previous day here when we were   exploring Dhanyavad brother and there he is and  we've got number what's up brother how we doing   hey it's a going to be   experiencing we're heading straight to the cricket  stadium which is about a 10 minute walk from the   Lalit to Great Eastern Hotel we're staying at and  we're gonna film what an experience is visiting a   cricket game I have never been to a cricket game  in my life so this is gonna be the first time in   experience thanks to this man for coordinating  it so it's gonna be a great time so tell us a   little bit brother you've uh you're a pretty  big uh cricket fan yeah yeah like I used to   you know play cricket professionally so yeah  after that you know boards and all exams are   also after that I thought let's not why not stay  in this post industry only so yeah right now I'm   doing you know sports management yeah yeah it's  good to be in this industry oh that's amazing   very enjoying yeah that's awesome yeah so you're  gonna have to teach me a little bit about Cricket   because uh as an American you know Cricket's  not as popular of a watch sport so I actually   don't know the rules okay so I'll definitely  when we're out there I'm gonna need to uh get   an idea of how everything works so this will be an  interesting video for you guys because we're going   to show you an insane game we've got uh Kolkata  versus Gujarat yeah Titans Gujarat Titans boom yeah exactly so we're heading towards the stadium  we got about a five minute walk and then we'll be   arriving in just a few moments so we are almost  at Eden Gardens here we're walking through the uh   Street here and it's gonna be a pretty wild game  so we got to get across this busy street here all right here we go all right I'm  trusting the local here all right   so we got to rehearse it one more  time so how do we say uh whatever foreign yeah let's see what happens in today's like from maybe you know   oh yeah okay nice so he's  been watching them uh foreign then first meet up we're like let's go straight  everything works yeah yeah exactly cold cold   messaging works oh looks like there's a lot  of stuff here so I probably could have gotten   a better deal on the Jersey and uh previously I  bought this jersey for uh 500 rupees so I think   I paid too much yeah he started at he started at 1  300. and then I was like 500 like bro bro you know   he's gonna give me a hard time and then and then I  after I bought that and then I bought a second one   I walked to the next guy he offered me 250 for his  first price yeah yeah 200-250. yeah yeah exactly   but uh I know because one of those guys back there  was offering me them for 100. oh my God that is it   a lot of people walking in this is gonna be a  big game how many uh people are able to be in   the stadium is almost around 70,000 . so  it's a massive Stadium biggest in India yeah wow   now the biggest one is not the biggest  second biggest second biggest oh okay Stadium no one is okay oh yeah everyone's  running towards the gates Eden Gardens let's go big oh we got to get one of those horns over there oh first look at the stadium all right  we've got flags of all types of things here   what do you think we gotta get some  Flags bro uh we'll be getting that   those inside oh inside that's the  place to get them all right perfect for like you know 20 or 30 bucks outside oh really  wow group yeah okay and what is this right here it's kind of a monument yeah oh from the 1900s you know academies and all over base over here oh  okay the cricket Academy speed football Academy   speed you know although like hockey and all yeah  yeah this is gonna be epic did we lose Harry   oh we found pretty famous guy around Kolkata  yeah very famous guy yeah all right as you guys can see everyone is rushing  in we're about 45 minutes away from the game   starting you can start to hear the Roaring of  the crowds right now this is gonna be a big game okay so the one we are having is the  opposite to that and the one he's   having so it's over here so I'm I'm  just telling him if you can give us   three I will give you my two sell it later  that's a good deal brother yeah deal and foreign just call call your boss or manager whatever thank you everyone yeah have a good day you're handsome at right now is we're just cruising   around the uh the uh kind of like the ring around  it and we're worried because of the rain we're   starting to feel some wind the nice part is the  wind is cool and it's down so it's not as hot but   it's kind of a Vibe walking around the stairs we  have all these like exotic trees right here with   the roots growing out of them oh oh oh I hear  some Thunder that's not good so does that mean   it gets canceled if it rains or they still play  oh they will still play you know it depends on them calculation by which you know the first in paying  batting Force yeah how much runs he considered in   the in the limited time of overs those kinds so  that makes it fair then yeah yeah otherwise if   the match gets abundant just like that so it will  be you know unfit yeah yeah exactly yeah that's a   good point that's a really good point so this side  is like okay this side is yeah yeah uh ganga side   over here the bad news is is uh we're not able  to wild today we're  going straight into the stadium is this ours a box right there so that's 19-20,000 oh okay wow that's Epic oh we got  a little Pond we're gonna cross here and maybe   further down this way oh and it's taking some  footwork to get through here and we have made it   good footage so far bro yeah Harry's  like holy [ __ ] yeah imagine what would   have happened if you didn't go to first after winning the coin toss here   so what are they doing right now they're  taking all of the mats off the stadium   okay so basically when it started raining  they quickly put all those uh mats out   there to stop the rain and then they just  pull it off wow that is quite a process I   mean look at how many people that need to be  on standby when it starts raining just to be   able to pull it in and uh pull it pull it out  there and stop the stadium from flooding so   we're gonna try out the first bath water so how  does this work I just bite it open and drink it well there's a little plastic piece and then okay oh yeah let's go for the water or no yeah okay  perfect straight from the bag my friends okay   so do you know who's that owner of you again no  no it's Shahrukh Khan Shahrukh Khan yeah one of   the the most prominent and famous celebrities all  around the world he has almost you know 80 to 90   million followers all over social media wow and  he owns this Kolkata uh is how's the cricket team   is it like one of the best what's the records this  year they were not that good you know like ups and   downs but you know in total if you must calculate  day one two time the championship they won't do   times like one in 2012 and one in 2014. oh wow all  right so 2012 2014. this could be the year then   so the mats are slowly being removed here you  can see they're pulling all that water I bet   those those big plastic sheets get pretty heavy by  the time because it's all that water just built up   well I think I mean it takes one two three four  five six seven five seven minutes to pull one of   those sheets the energy is starting to pick up  it's 15 39 so it's 3 30 the game starts 339 the   game starts at 3 30. due to you know rain and  all drops the ball  and look at this thing it looks like oh there's   supposed to raindrops out of the soil yeah  dries out the field so you guys can see what   a process it is when it rains out here Harry  what are your first thoughts for the game bro what are your expectations yeah expectations bro yeah let's go there we go let's do it so we  have a confirmed time when it starts 4 15. yeah we've got the players walking out into  the stadium we got Gujarat walking out there   and then we've got KKR right there Kolkata  Knight Riders how we doing is the rest of the   team they're just sitting down there batter's  getting ready and the game is starting foreign and how many like bases are they they're  called bases what is the responsible events okay and you just call that one run yeah one run let's start to the game guys it's  a good day to be a Kolkata Knight   Rider I'll tell you that let's go  baby now you know slowly as a game although it's not hidden out of the park yeah   I'm ready to see that it's  good to see the most success foreign I'm not from Kolkata I'm from U.S yeah yeah um nice to meet you brother and another boundary another boundary   there we go another four points that brings us  up to zero baby that is a good sign here so guys   I'll tell you now after watching a couple uh  balls here I'm starting to figure out uh and   understand a bit more of cricket of the  best my favorite so far yeah yeah Momos are   some of the best but I get that oh we've got  to get some in a little bit for sure into what yeah oh one investment got  out one bathroom yeah yeah all day baby another six which is like  equivalent to like the baseball home run   where it went into the stand so that was I  think like two in a row okay okay okay okay oh another boundary another boundary baby another  bounce here we go here we go this is something   else let's go there we go I like that energy  brother as I will say the energy from a cricket   game is amazing just non-stop things happening  fast-paced movements especially with high score   I mean the stadium continues to Roar this is  amazing basically what just happened here is   uh Gujarat caught the ball which it gives them  one point 47 to two we had some exciting plays   happen but uh what are the like salary ranges  for uh cricket players so it all depends upon   how good the gold go on auction day so uh  average uh you know Indian athlete you know so it's like around um got the flag being waived way over there would this be called like the first half of the  inning uh not yet not yet you know 14 or like 13   hours are left then it is okay so it's like lasts  for like one and a half pick one a whole Innings   last for one and a half worth one and a half hours  okay then like around 15-20 proper kick to it   this is actually my first fried Momo I will  say I like the fried Momo it almost tastes   like a different food here like um almost like  a breaded Momo when it's fried but I like that so now straight to the steam  yeah right in their head the steamed are good you just got there's  something about that noodly flavor mixed in   with the insides looks like we've got onions and  Chicken in there makes it truly a one of a kind   oh incredibly tasty how did these compare  to other Momos you've had faster yeah all over it so there's a bunch of wows wow so it's a big chain then that's incredible  great food they're doing something right you know something like oh yeah good food so that was a delicious  set of Momos there I must say impressive   I'm not a stadium food guys kind of being at  a cricket stadium is like India's version of   baseball but they're completely different  sports with completely different rules but   obviously there's a couple similarities here  and there and so you know I always related   to like you know stadiums look similar so  back in the US we've got like uh burgers   and hot dogs here you got Momos you got  pizza and some other Indian Delicacies so   really good stuff oh yeah we're gonna have  pregnant bellies after the amount of food   we take down today boys let's go hey Momo's  very delicious brother very delicious Momos I was telling them they're really good  Momos exactly so we're going up to the uh   box seats Clubhouse yeah look at these cameras these things are massive so another view in the stadium we got pretty  lucky now it's sunny out here and The Vibes are   spot on uh probably sit over here then  let's go yeah yeah might as well right we got the hospitality entrance right there  we're exploring all over the stadium right   looks like they've got some sort of disco going  on over here yeah disco light party and we got   Kolkata rolls up here ciao mean all the good  stuff yeah good price too we got egg rolls for   60. that's cheaper than I got it out on the street  actually about the same price looks delish gotta this is a vibe no what's good all right  we're making it through the crowds here we can see some views here the whole stadium oh we've got carrot man popping off  here so yeah my friends we're trying   out the birds out I've been  oh we got our bunny to help me on look at him the seats up here we've even got  ourselves a nice little Sunset right there   current scores right up to a 156 six let's see  out into the distance right out here in the back AC yeah you're fresh that cools us  down guys from the stadium we can   see the tallest Residential Building in  Kolkata right there it's one right there you missed it my friends it was  shot way up in the air massive ball what were across so  that's fantastic news this way all right oh we have made it out of the busyness  which means we're almost at the hotel   that's how you do it he's got the 10 footer  I see everything now so many horns this is Kolkata traffic at night  on a Saturday just intense oh we   got this guy about to run us over we're  gonna figure out how to get across here okay I did just sneaking our
