This DESTROYED Pier Is Home To GIANT Fish!

all right what's going on guys welcome to the channel my name is bearded Brad we're hanging out here at beach bomb Outdoors today down in Gulf Shores make sure you come check us out got a lot of cool tackle everything you need to come down here fish the beach but we've also got this Pond we uh we gotta do a little work too we need to come out here with a weed eater but we got some fish in here and uh they've been pretty hungry so if you do come down here make sure you come feed our fish show them some love we got the little fish feeder here 50 cents all them little fish right there come on down bring your kids let them feed some fish check out some of the boats we're out here as well Beach Bum Outdoors but uh we're about to head on out to the pier Gulf Shores Pier this is the time of year that a lot of big fish come cruising down the beach and we like to fish for them from the pier we got Jacks we got Tarpon we got redfish we got a lot of options we're gonna head on out there we got NLB ends we got X wraps see what all we can get it I'll catch off when we get out there how are you doing I'm good how are you Brad Hurts YouTube they just got a new space baseball so if they're 59 go over the cruise Beach bomb Outdoors come check us out it was like right up close to the pier 55 00 this is a 5500 yeah better than a certain in a surrogate I have both um The Slammer is a really good reel I have a Sarah goes to 14K that I usually offshore for tuna throwing big poppers for tuna um they're really I mean they're very comparable they're both very good reels actually you probably can't see in the camera we got a school of jacks coming they're still like 200 yards out got the uh NLB in ready got drakey poo ready he's got the Gaff ready you gonna Whack Him Drake hopefully he gets shy on camera but uh they're they're waking pretty good so hopefully they're gonna achieve they're down all right these Jacks are getting pretty close here now there's a everybody's season now so they're about to get bombed oh yeah all right closer foreign of course they're not eating are you going under way they're scared of it something waking I don't really see the fish I just saw the wakes yeah I have no idea where they are right there come on why won't you eat here they are oh we came up come on come on hey they swiped at it they'll probably eat that extra out they swipe the bottom three you see him come on come on there we go I think he ate it and spit it here we go no no we got a tangled nose he broke my water how do you tighten the drag turn the knob to the right [Music] oh damn all right guys I couldn't get underneath the swim bait switch back over to a popper here they're actually throwing a popper off the pier but Jack's love top water we'll see how that goes we got another school coming through right here hopefully I can get one to eat you got eight right yeah I got it you got eight you got eight yeah and I was just standing there twiddling my thumbs all right we got these Jacks coming in close got the popper on don't bomb them let them get a little closer I ain't worried about him he can't throw that thing that far yeah he's more worried about me Brendan's gonna hit him with the Glide bait see if they'll choke it that'd be freaking crazy on the little bass setups little SLX SLX and diamonds run see okay well these Pier Jags are evading me this year eluding me you evading me I don't know what the right word is throwing out a bunch of them to keep missing so tomorrow morning we're gonna head on out to the beach they've been some down on the beach It's A Long Walk we're gonna make it happen I'll catch y'all we'll get out there all right I got the Halco popper Todd on now let me do a little bit of blind casting seriously some fun or something cruising right in front of us I got this little Pango about to Anchor up right in front of us that's pretty cool I want to get hooked up on a big fish and it goes and gets in their anchor oh I'd be so happy got Jax blowing up way out there behind them hey by the time I got there I was behind me yeah too much exercise ah where you at fish oh they're right here come on come on come on again there we go [Music] that was it's a man is there we do got a little ping anchored up out there but better not cut us off don't be mad don't get in that anchor oh you're in the mad house out here Jack's blowing up everywhere Chris trying to cut me off here obviously hit Atlanta Fest baby come on that's a big Jack they came through blowing up on some bait I'm straight out this way I think somebody just lost a copper floating around I love chasing these jacks off the beach such a cool fight not as cool as that tarp in a hooked but unfortunately I don't think I have any audio of it I'm still gonna play the clip if I haven't already I'll just do a voiceover play some music or something because that was pretty insane all right watch out whatever that is gotta finish on there still throwing poppers at me this Jackson I don't want to give up either they're such a tough list yeah with Jack still hooked up over there too he's got a second one on foreign we're down here at Fort Morgan this time of year these Jacks come out of Mobile Bay and just bust on some bait here it's a hit or miss though we're out here the other day there was nothing not a single fish caught come out here this morning they're blowing up all over the place multiple fish have been caught carbon have been rolling it's just a special place out here Jack's got his coming up mine's getting closer I'm trying to baby mine a little bit because my heart still hurts from losing that Tarpon I don't want to risk doing anything stupid here I might cry if I lose another fish today got a bunch of grass on my line out there too should be nice and easy with them Coco popper and Slammer 5500 it's a DX model 40 pound Power Pro super slick got the bummy stick perfect setup for casting big plugs off the beach I'm gonna have it all kind of holding that current ly get them out of it I honestly could probably horse him a little bit more than I am but like I said I really don't want to lose a fish again so it's gonna be nice and easy gain little bits at a time pull up go down pull up roll down that's the name of the game getting these fish in here it's only 6 20 in the morning right now too we got out here probably a little after 5 30. it's already done what I'm saying morning hopefully there's still some more action to go this is what Atlanta got one at the pier y'all saw earlier but they're trying to catch on the beach a little easier to land on the beach too we don't have to worry about getting wrecked in the pier easier to go around people but this is turning back the other way down easy does all right there's our fish right here you gotta get them up there there he is one more way pop them up for me all right get out here Jack I heard y'all Jack and I just doubled up on some massive Jacks what an insane morning hooked up on a tarpon he's hooked a few Jacks got my first one in the morning actually gonna check out his video see his content these things are such a fun fight from the beach it's amazing it's a good nice release all right let's get it all right get a safe release on these Jacks here but hell yeah bro all right guys cool to finally catch my first Jack of the Year here in Alabama and to get it off the beach is always such a blast they're one of the funnest fish to catch I'm Gonna Roll some footage right here of what happened first thing in the morning I lost audio and it was the coolest hookup coolest thing I've done no audio I'm Gonna Roll it here I'm gonna do a little bit of voice over y'all check it out all right so as soon as we got out to the beach we started seeing a bunch of fish blowing up and so we started running down the beach a little bit looked like some Jacks Got a popper tied on again mainly just looking for Jacks ended up seeing some Tarpon swirl so I this is where I got hooked up so I saw some Tarpon swirl right in front of me and uh again all I had was the popper so I threw the popper at it I'm gonna try to pull in another clip of that Tarpon eating and jump and I barely got it in the corner of the camera and now he's just screaming and I'm like losing my mind right now wish I had all of this on audio because how insane in our area to even get a tarpon off the beach but to get it on a top water is just crazy and uh so now I'm starting to gain a little line on it he ends up jumping again I'm gonna have to go through some of this footage and figure it all out I'm just trying to do a voiceover while I have like 10 minutes of footage here so I'm gonna clip it down and put in some of this in the right place but I just wanted to show y'all all of this because I'm seriously losing my mind this whole time like the guys around me are like what in the world are happening a couple of them didn't even see the tarpon jumps they they just thought I had a jack on they didn't even believe that I actually had a tarpon and uh he's worked me down the beach so we're I'm heading west at this point and Mobile Bay is right there we're right at the point of Mobile Bay and so you got the channel there with tons of current and I'm really worried about this fish getting into that channel and me not really being able to do anything about it because once they get in all that current like it's gonna be tough to pull them out of it um so I'm just working my way down the beach trying to do everything I can keep as much line on the rail as possible this is certainly not a tarpon setup by any means pen Slammer 5500 and the uh the Bony stick now I I could probably get away with it um and honestly you'll you'll see what happens here at the end of this video I I could have landed this fish on this setup um generally you You're Gonna Want a little bigger Grill but I I could have made it happen and uh we had some Unfortunate Events he starts running again they're scream and drag again my drag is this is not lockdown but it's pretty dang tight and he is just smoking it and again just losing my mind at the fact that I'm even in this situation right now there's a little jump right there um that's not this point this fish is getting pretty close to the beach um he hasn't ran in a second feel like he's he's whooped so um about to turn around and yell at Jack and be like hey man come help me beach it um and as soon as I like turn around and yell at Jack I turned back around I'll take a couple reels and Bam it happens what is the chances of hooking up on a tarpon on topwater that was insane it felt like something like swam through my line maybe and hit the braid and popped it I'm not 100 sure but clean cut on the braid there's a lot of fish out here a lot of bait a lot of jacks running yeah there is also a sand bar right out here could have got on The Sandbar I don't really know for sure but that one hurts that one hurts that was a big fish I'm hoping I at least got the jumps on the GoPro but that was that was so sick we're about to rig back up some guys are throwing back again I don't know if I want to throw on another topwater I've seen some more Tarpon so I might just throw on a swim bait and see if we can lock up on another one these Jacks out here will eat a swimming too but that one hurts that's a heartbreaker
