night we want to have church child's church so they're going to come here we're going to pray over them okay they want you all to pray over them for that conference they're all going to as a team you want to be here you want to be a part of that service we're going to have a time around here i'm going to tell you right now we're going to have a time around here amen brother doug smith as i said he's evangelist for next weekend but we got the team of 21 uh that are coming in hey man that are going to be flying out we're going to escort them get them to the airport that night so they can be on a plane by midnight flying out toward the philippines and and all of that so you want to be a part of that also everybody say next saturday next saturday trunk or treat all right it's our harvest festival here and it's a time to greet the community all right this is one of the greatest outreaches we have because they come to your territory they come they come they come because they want to look in your trunks and get whatever candy you might have in your trunk or whatever out here on the parking lot but this is a time for you to meet the community and take advantage of that meet them connect with them all right i need everybody on the outreach team i need 100 of the church at trunk a tree amen you might not be one that wants to fix your trunk up if you do we need people that will and that are willing to do that that'll fix their trunks up so be sure and sign up for that out in the foyer there's information out there we need people we need people that are willing to bring their vehicle and you know whatever you do and but we want to reach out to that community as they come as they come they bring their families they bring their children and i need 100 percent i can't even say it right now participation i'm thinking precipitation participation i better not say that no more times because i will start getting it messed up but everybody you are outreach your outreach your outreach every person that comes up to you and don't wait for them to come to you you go to them get a hold of them connect with them invite them to church tell them something good give them a that god's got for us the great mighty things of the lord and i feel it my lord over the last several weeks god's been working on us god's been doing some great things and i'm just excited my soul is understanding and openness to what god is trying to do why don't we open up our bibles to the book of isaiah chapter 43 isaiah chapter 43 verse 18. i appreciate so much your pastor and his wife and his family and uh just an incredible hospitality thank you for those that have uh dressed up the evangelist quarters for me with all the snacks and all the fruit there's just something biblical about that amen there's something still trying to figure it out there's just something biblical about snacks there's just something i like about it hallelujah and uh just been such a privilege being here they they spoiled me today and they took me to uh papas our papas papas papas o papas i went to papa's seafood and uh you know what i thought i lived a blessed life already but uh after i tore up that salmon salmon alexander with shrimp on top [Music] with the brown sauce on the side i'm about to tear up up here [Music] and uh some fresh green beans and uh medium well salmon by the way and uh blackened i mean you know god was there i'm telling you god was there amen and uh why don't we lift up our hands one more time to the lord now let's ask god to do exactly what he wants to do here can you open up your mouth and pray [Music] god we follow after your spirit we ask you to do exactly what you want to do [Music] work in our midst [Music] touch and transform in jesus name amen isaiah chapter 43. and verse 18 if you have it say amen remember ye not the former things neither consider the things of old behold i will do a new thing now it shall spring forth shall ye not know it i will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert want to talk about that i just want to talk to you i'm going to teach to you on this thought right here so you can have your spirit ready for what god wants to do i want to talk about there there's a new thing coming there is a new thing coming and why don't you clap your hands to the lord praise god and you may be seated in the presence of the lord this is what you call teaching preaching but what a lot of people call treaching so i'm going to do a little bit of treating here tonight and it's going to be a blessing for you can i tell you that there are places in god that no one has ever gone did you know that there are places in god where no one has ever been ever i see i've got to convince you that's why i'm preaching this right here there abraham who is the father of the faithful who saw great god do great things he never seen the end of god he never exhausted all of god he was a great man we have this faith because of his walk yet he never seen aspects of god that we have seen as a matter of fact exodus 6 says that abraham god told moses he said moses abraham isaac and jacob they only knew me by the name god almighty but by my name jehovah was i not known to them in other words there moses you reached the place in me than the that the previous generations never have tapped into are you hearing me right now there are places in god that no one has ever gone and no one that has ever been david who's through that great giant goliath even he never saw the end of god the apostle paul who no doubt saw thousands received the holy ghost he never seen the end of god david said great is the lord and greatly to be praised and his greatness is unsearchable that word unsearchable means that his greatness cannot be fully examined are you hearing me no one can ever come to church and be like i saw i've seen everything. i've seen god do everything and and there's nothing new that's some people's favorite scripture there's nothing new under the sun some of y'all were thinking and now while i was preaching brother jackson don't you know there's nothing new under the sun i remind you that that scripture was written before the virgin birth i'm in trouble already there's nothing new under the sun that was written before the virgin birth and the virgin birth has never happened before and can never happen again [Applause] there's nothing new under the sun until the spirit gets involved and when the spirit gets involved it has the ability to produce new events mary said how can this be seeing i know not a man look what the angel said the holy ghost shall come upon thee and the power of the highest shall overshadow thee so you're gonna get fulfill this destiny by the spirit because when the spirit gets involved it can create something new anytime that it wants as a matter of fact c.s lewis said that a miracle is an interruption of nature when nature's going on this course yet god comes in and intervenes and just interrupts the process with his spirit and with his word there are things in god that no one has ever seen and no one has ever reached before that are accessible by the spirit and you have to have an open spirit to what god is doing in this hour or the move of god is going to pass you by somebody say amen did you know that in the azusa street revival this is documented in the azusa street revival people came from all over the world and they would receive the holy ghost and many of them as soon as they received the holy ghost all of a sudden they knew how to play the piano oh you've seen that before right they spoke in tongues and immediately god gifted them the ability to play and they hadn't done it before but in a moment of god's spirit coming in a vessel it did something new in that vessel [Applause] these are documented cases that i'm speaking of as a matter of fact one person is as documented they spoke in tongues and when they spoke in tongues for the first time all of a sudden god gifted them the ability to speak fluently six different foreign languages they knew six different foreign languages because of speaking in tongues one single time as a matter of fact one person spoke in tongues for the first time they found out he was speaking japanese they sent they got an offering together and got fifteen hundred dollars right after this guy got done speaking in japanese they got fifteen hundred dollars worth of money in that congregation they gave it to the man and sent him to japan to become a missionary and that man planted churches you're not hearing me yet because when the spirit gets involved it has the ability to do something new that no one has ever seen and no one has ever done before oh somebody clap your hands to the lord i'm telling you god is trying to bring this church into a place where you can expect the unexpected where you're open to the unpredictable if you if god could only move in your box this move of god this wave is going to pass by you but if you can just lift the ceiling off of your mind and lift the ceiling off of your spirit god's going to start doing some things in you and in this church that's gonna blow your mind if you can be open to it god's gonna send a river in the middle of your desert and it's gonna be a river of prophecy and a river of the prophetic if you can just open up your heart and your mind amen amen they i was i was preaching in south dakota and there had a bunch of african refugees that were in south dakota and so i had to preach through uh zwahilian interpreter while i was preaching to this congregation and south dakota when i was done i was speaking to the translator and he said i asked him was english tough for you to learn he goes man it took me years to finally get the language of english but he said but i had a friend that also came over from africa and he moved to arizona and in the first week while he's in arizona he said he had such a problem he was getting so aggravated and frustrated because he couldn't get the language of english that his first week in america he prayed he asked god to gift him the language of english and god did i see you don't pray prayers like that you see that see now watch this i'm about to show you something the bible says god gives us the spirit that we might know the things that are freely given to us in other words there are things in god that you cannot work for there are things in god that you cannot earn and we live in the greatest country in the world in my opinion america the united states of america i believe is the greatest country in the world that's just my opinion but let me tell you something with our greatness there comes a downside and the downside is we believe that we have to work for everything and we bring that mentality into the kingdom and we try to get spiritual things with carnal effort so when god says he's about to do something for you your first thing is you put your shoulder to the wheel and i gotta go i gotta go i gotta go i gotta go and god's holding stuff over your head he's saying if you just look up i got some things that i freely would like to dump on you right now if you just look up every now and again while you're putting that effort in the lord asked me a question he said victor how did mary earn the virgin birth man this is some good teaching already huh the lord asked me that he goes how did mary earn the virgin birth what was her prayer time how many days did she fast the week the lord said you can't earn destiny you can't praying fast to get destiny god said i give destiny first and as a result you praying fast it's my destiny to be here today but as a result of destiny i have a responsibility to pray and fast to protect destiny there's things in him that you just can't earn that you just have to trust and believe when you got the holy spirit the the holy ghost it it sets you up it is the earnest of our inheritance it's the down payment of heaven that's what we got the bible says you have tasted of that heavenly gift he said you have tasted of the powers of the world to come come on somebody the holy ghost is giving you a taste of heaven a taste of what's coming a taste of power come on somebody so when you sink in your body and you speak in tongues heaven can come down and heal your body you can you come on now your family can be in trouble but when you pray in the spirit all of a sudden heaven comes down and touches your family we got access to the powers of the world to come if you only realize amen amen amen the holy ghost the holy ghost the evidence is speaking in tongues but can i tell you it is a comforter it's not only a comforter it's a teacher it's not only a teacher it calls to remembrance it not only calls a remembrance it's an advocate it's not only an advocate it's a guide the holy ghost has more capabilities that you realize that it has it has the power to work in you and do something new he can do a new thing in a moment would it take years for you to do in the flesh god can do in a moment it may take you 10 years to understand a language but god can give the language in a moment it may take 10 years for you to get out of that debt but when the holy ghost gets involved it has the power to erase 10 years hallelujah praise god amen there i'm supposed to be teaching praise god i i got carried away hallelujah but i'm trying to tell you that you you the holy ghost i'm telling you if you got a revelation of the oneness of god if you got a revelation of jesus name baptism if you got a revelation of the infilling of the holy ghost speaking in tongues if you got a revelation of holiness and enduring to the end you know more than most professors in the united states [Applause] you know more if you got a revelation of truth you know more than those professors know i i whoo help me i was i was in alaska and uh i i was in a masters of theological studies biblical studies and i was studying the original greek the original greek of the new testament the koine greek and as i was studying this koine greek while i was in alaska i was preaching at a whole mission church 10 15 people having church in a library and i was in the hotel studying this koine greek i came out of my hotel when i came out of out of my hotel uh these there were people at the bottom of my hotel that that had bongs in their hands they were smoking marijuana they were drug addicts they had drugs in their hand and they were oppressed and the lord spoke to me said victor you think your greek's going to help them he said give them a greek word and see if they care he said the only thing that's going to help them is the anointing of the holy ghost can i tell you the world isn't looking for people to debate with education and debate intellectually they are looking for the power of the holy ghost so don't you be intimidated you got the world's answers it's what the surgeon needs it's what the doctor needs it's what they all come on somebody don't you be intimidated you got what they need come on now they got all that intellect but they're on their fourth marriage hello because intellect can't save you intellect can't deliver you are you hearing me right now so don't be intimidated uh when you have a connection with somebody that you believe to be superior to you in the flesh because you've got something in the spirit that their spirit is hungering and that is desperate for and if you would get the courage to just let it flow and let it out come on somebody that's what's going to change this community oh somebody clap if you believe that amen amen i was doing i uh i was doing some years ago several years ago i was reading a bunch of commentaries and the lord spoke to me he said victor which one of those commentaries taught you how to preach i was like well well none of them lord he goes well how did you learn to preach i said well just by praying and you speaking to me he goes well stay with the source it's like charles spurgeon said visit many books but live in the bible come on somebody the bible is the only book that has the power to transform lives and if we would invest ourselves in the scripture and invest ourselves in the spirit it's going to not only transform you it's going to transform everybody that's connected to you it's amazing i had a 3.9 gpa in high school had a 3.6 gpa in college while playing college basketball and i still didn't understand the bible i didn't understand the bible until i spoke in tongues for the first time and when i spoke in tongues i didn't shed a tear when i spoke in tongues i was stoic when i spoke and i only spoke in tongues for like 30 seconds to a minute and i went and sat down and maybe there were people that thought man he really didn't get it but i went home and opened up the scripture and revelation began to come off the page and god began to whisper in my ear come on the spirit of god will lead and guide into all truth come on somebody there are things in this word that you can't comprehend here but i got it here i got it deep on the inside and what i got on the inside is greater somebody shout yes amen amen man you guys are awesome i love y'all amen you can only come in the spirit it can only come in the spirit we can only transform this world by his spirit not by our flesh not by our ability amen it has to be the spirit that drives us and it is the spirit that will lead us and guide us in this time of where we're headed um some people say well brother jackson i i believe that i could that god can use me but i have a difficult time uh finding the right words to pray i want to pray more but i get discouraged because i don't have like a great prayer vocabulary anybody knows what i'm talking about here it's tough for me to really get in the spirit like i want because because i get discouraged because i find myself in a repetitious of of prayers and everything that i'm about to help somebody the person that asks the wrong questions in prayer is better off than the person that doesn't ask at all i gotta say that again the person that asked the wrong questions in prayer the person that asked amiss is better off than the person that doesn't ask at all i think about i think about if my son came up to me and he's about to turn three and he comes up to me and goes dad i wanna porsh i'm gonna look at him like that's cute i i'll give you a toy bike i don't beat him up because of his radical question i just use my influence as a father to redirect his prayer because as long as he's in communication with me i can direct him the way i like to direct him but what would happen if my son never spoke to me and he's sitting in a corner and he never talks to me i rather him ask some crazy questions because at least he's willing to communicate and as long as he's willing to communicate the father can use his influence to begin to change your prayer into his will and into what he wants you to pray i think about when i first came into church and i was like lord i'm ready to go on a 40-day fast the lord's like that's cute i'm gonna give you grace to skip a meal so i start skipping the meal i go back to god god i'm ready to go on a 20-day fast he's like huh you're getting closer son but i'll give you grace to fast today i go back to god god i'm ready to go on a seven-day fast the lord's like son come on now i'll give you grace the fast three days then finally i go back to god and say god how long do you want me to fast my communication with my father began to change and mold my speech and yes i was a new convert praying crazy stuff but god didn't beat me up for asking for crazy things he just said i'm just glad that my son is communicating with me and i will direct his prayer did you know hallelujah did you know that you can't even pray without god's grace paul said i was one born out of due time but i labored more abundantly than them all watch this according to the grace of god that works in me one second how do you labor in grace he said i labored more abundantly than them all according to the grace that works in me how do you work in grace don't you all shout at once now how do you labor in grace in romans it says in grace work is not work so how do you labor in grace and peter said that you have the ability to grow in grace how do you grow in unmerited favor you want me to tell you okay here we go i'm gonna tell you thanks for asking hallelujah when you come to church and you come to that first altar call this is an example god will give you grace to go back home and pray for 15 minutes a day if you go home and pray 15 minutes a day and you do that for a month god's like oh that's good i'm gonna give them grace now to pray half an hour a day you start praying half an hour a day for a month because like wow they're doing good you know what i'm going to give them grace to pray an hour a day you start praying an hour a day but what happens if you never respond to that first 15 minutes then you've been in church for 50 years but you still got 15 minutes of prayer hanging over you that you haven't responded to grace grows the more you respond to it [Applause] grace grows the more you respond to it we are saved by grace through faith faith is man's hand reaching up grace is god's hand reaching down grace grows the more you respond to it in faith and so no one could ever brag on how long they pray because it's grace that allowed them to pray no one can ever brag on how much they fast because it's grace that allowed them to fast no one can come to church and their after their first church service they go home and start praying seven hours a day for the rest of their life no you skip the process you didn't give yourself the chance to grow in grace god starts everybody at a level and as we respond to that level he trusts us with more love somebody say amen and so i think praise god i think about what the lord is this helping wave a hand if this is helping this is all right this is all right hallelujah um i think about what god spoke to me earlier this year he said victor he said you have a revelation of my voice you understand my voice to a t he said victor you know my voice he said but the problem is you don't have a revelation of my touch and he said my touch is a deeper form of communication than my voice if i'm at a table sitting down talking with a pastor and my wife's sitting next to me and i'm just rambling like i'm known to do i can just get off and just start keep on talking hallelujah as i get on that rambling spurt all of a sudden under the table my wife will gently tap my leg and what she's saying to me with that tap is be quiet you're talking too much she never had to open up her mouth but when she touched me i got the message god said i want to know my people so well where i don't have to speak all the time but i can just touch a service and they understand healing is here restoration is here power is here now when you know when you know that person you understand the message when he touched but what would happen if i'm sitting next to a stranger and a stranger touches my leg those are fighting actions like whoa come on i don't recognize the touch if i don't know the person that's why god can touch a service and there will be people that are crying weeping breaking through getting delivered but there will be others that are just oblivious and they're just like this somebody put on a smile out there you know because you don't recognize a stranger's touch he said i want to know my people so well that when i touch them they get to message and he said victor after you get a revelation of my touch i want you to get a revelation of my face he said and my face is a deeper form of communication than my touch peter whenever he denied jesus he saw jesus afar off and he looked into the face of the lord and when he looked into the face of the lord after he betrayed him the bible says he wept bitterly jesus didn't speak to him in that moment jesus didn't touch him in that moment but when he saw the disappointment on his master's face conviction came god said i want to know my people so well where i don't have to speak all the time i don't have to touch them all the time but they can look into my face in a prayer closet and they get the message that i'm trying to communicate he said victor many times my voice is the last resort of communication because it means that they've ignored my face they've ignored my touch and i am forced to speak and i will speak through their pastor i will speak through a man of god and if they resist the man of god there's nothing left to prevent them from judgment so you know you're on the edge of judgment when the pastor has to keep preaching the same thing because the voice is the last thing before judgment he said i want you to get a revelation of my voice my touch my face he said after you get a revelation on my face i want you to get a revelation of my thoughts and my thoughts is the last stage of intimacy for i know the thoughts that i think toward you the thoughts of peace they're good and not evil thoughts to give you and expect it in so whenever i don't speak whenever you can't hear my voice whenever you can't feel my touch whenever you can't see my face my thoughts are what sustain you in your darkest hour because you know that my mind has stayed on you in that time you don't get that from a book you get that from a relationship amen uh you so with this new thing you have to be open to the move of god you have to be open for for unpredictable things to happen i remember i was uh i remember several years ago my first two months on the evangelistic field uh i got a call it was a friday i got a call from a pastor and he pastors in tampa i never preached in tampa i'd only been to tampa once and when i went to tampa the only time i went there was to go to busch gardens and uh i wouldn't recommend going there it's just like wooden rides it's wooden roller coasters i just don't believe in that it's shaking you the whole time no no thanks that was the last time i had been there and so i get a call on a friday from a pastor in tampa and he calls me he goes brother jackson i need an evangelist this sunday morning now that's rare it's friday he wants me for sunday morning normally when you get a call to preach it's months in advance this has been scheduled for me to come here eight months maybe this has been eight months and i'm here and so i got i got a pastor that called me telling me to come it's friday he says he wants me to come sunday morning tampa is about two and a half two hours from where i live he goes i need you really bad look what he says you're the fourth evangelist i've called so i was like i'm the fourth evangelist on the list i was like well at least i'm on the list hallelujah [Laughter] so he said you're the fourth evangelist i called i need you i said man you know what we can work it out so i he gets me a hotel for saturday night and this is last minute that this never happens he gets me a hotel for saturday night so i go there the next day i'm praying for god to give me a word god's not speaking to me okay i'm like oh man i'm in trouble the lord's not giving me nothing and so their church service was sunday afternoon so i woke up that morning and i thought that god would have something for me i woke up nothing i'm like oh man service is creeping service is coming i've got nothing to say maybe if i just say jesus five times the holy ghost will break open and i don't have to preach hallelujah and uh and so we went to mcdonald's during that time i was young i didn't know any better i i went to mcdonald's with my wife and we sat there and we began to eat and and literally when i was done eating all of a sudden the lord spoke to me and he said tell the people that the major stronghold has come down in this city and tell the people that no weapon formed against them shall prosper i was like oh yeah this is good lord thank you i began to type it down no weapon formed against you shall prosper i was like i got the word from the lord i wrote it down and then i got in my car i got in my little 2001 honda civic i got in and literally a minute as soon as i pulled out the driveway of mcdonald's i get in the left turning lane to take a u-turn so i can turn around in my rear view mirror i see a car coming behind me about 60 miles an hour and he's not stopping so i started honking the horn i'm like that car it was an suv it rammed the back of my vehicle bam when it ran me my rammed me the car turned off i checked my wife to see if she's okay she has a blistering headache i get out of the car i start walking over to the guy and as i'm walking over to him the lord spoke to me and said he's drunk so i went up to the guy and i said hey you're drunk what else do you say hallelujah say you're drunk he goes i've been going through a tough time i look at my car my trunk had popped over open but there's not one scratch or one dent on my vehicle or his and so i closed my trunk and i said bro god protected us this is a miracle you need to get in church look what he tells me someone's been telling me that i said well bro give me your number give me your number because i'm gonna i gotta preach at a church right now i said give me your number because because we got to stay in touch i'ma get you in the bible say he gives me his number and once he gives me his number i say now look i'm going to call your phone a 352 number is going to show up that's my number i call his phone when i look over at his phone it says victor jackson is calling you he had my number saved in his phone yeah i looked at it i did bro [Applause] this is a complete stranger i said hey how did you get my number he goes oh that's you i was like yes i am victor jackson he said this number has been calling me all week telling me to get to the local church here in tampa he said that that number left him three voicemail mails giving him the address to go to that church in tampa and he said it's been calling them all week watch this i didn't get the call till friday and i'm the fourth evangelist on the list the lord miraculously intervened to reach a vessel what am i saying i'm trying to tell you that god is opening up a window of new miracles and a new thing that if you're open to it come on somebody god will start moving in some unusual fashions but if your spirit is close to it the move of god's going to pass you by but if you can open up your spirit and believe and say god be it unto me according to thy word i don't understand it with my mind but i can receive in my spirit but my mind can't comprehend oh somebody clap your hands to the lord right now amen amen you have to allow god to move you out of your comfort zone mary said i don't know how this is going to happen but i receive it you may not don't get hung up on how we're going to have revival like that how am i going to get healed like that how this how that don't get hung up on the analytics to say be it unto me according to thy word
