[Applause] praise god [Music] the glory of god is in this place isn't it aren't you thankful for the presence of the lord that you feel here [Music] [Applause] amen you can make your way back to your seats please remain standing as we open up the word of god on this wonderful morning cannot believe we're in april uh last year the longest months in the world were march and april and uh didn't realize how long 24 hours were until we were under mandatory quarantine it's like man this is a long day i'm like is it still today my and then like after the summer all of a sudden summer was over and we were celebrating christmas i'm like where did these months go what happened to august and it's like i'm just open presents amen and uh time just went by so quick cannot believe it's april uh 2021 and summer is going to be here for before you know it and you know i've realized that you know if there was ever a time to be intentional with your time now was that time amen and uh if you don't um if you don't plan your your time you're losing time uh and that's just that's just facts you know art isn't it crazy when i phone sends you that report on how long you're on the phone that week and it's like they say you average eight hours and 50 minutes a day on your phone you're like huh like man that just kind of ruins my excuse saying i didn't have time for my do my homework i didn't have time to pray i didn't have time to study didn't have time to the lord the lord is using them to expose us praise god [Laughter] hey man i'm so thankful for the leadership of this wonderful district and uh this wonderful youth committee district board i didn't know i didn't know this was uh brother sullivan's last event until they came up here and they did that last night and like i was like crying more than everybody in this place i'm like everybody else you know he's not crying you know he's being strong the youth leader is being strong and i'm over there like and what a privilege it is to have the opportunity to be here for his last event as youth president and i will not forget uh getting to be a part of this special time and i'm so thankful for him and let's get into the word of god this morning psalm chapter 78 psalm chapter 78 and verse 35 psalm chapter 78 and verse 35 and um let's see what the lord does here this morning and i'm going to talk to you a little bit and i'm going to be a little bit directional and pray this will be a blessing to you psalm chapter 78 and verse 35 the psalmist is talking about the history of the nation of israel and particularly it talks about when they left egypt and all the temptations and trials and things that they endured in the wilderness and verse 35 states and they remembered that god was their rock and the high god their redeemer nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth and they lied unto him with their tongues for their heart was not right with him neither were they steadfast in his covenant but he being full of compassion forgave their iniquity and destroyed them not yea many a time turned he his anger away and did not stir up all his wrath for he remembered that they were but flesh a wind that passeth away and cometh not again how oft they did provoke him in the wilderness and grieve him in the desert yea they turned back and tempted god and limited the holy one of israel they remembered not his hand nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy verse 43 last scripture how he had wrought his signs in egypt and his wonders in the field of zone i draw my thought out of verse 41 where it says that they turned back and tempted god and limited the holy one of israel i want to preach on that subject this morning breaking the limitations breaking the limitations why don't you clap your hands to the lord [Applause] come on somebody clap those hands a little bit louder thank you god for your presence amen you may be seated in the presence of the lord thank you for all the kindness and hospitality thank you for the starbucks gift card praise the lord thank you to the chick-fil-a after dessert man amen god is good i uh 2020 was was was an interesting year that's like an understatement huh um it was interesting because i had to like preach in my office now i never thought i would have a day where i was screaming in my office every day i probably preached like 70 virtual services in that office in the afternoon i know that i was probably the weirdo on the block because everybody's walking their dogs in the afternoon and they're hearing me yell i told somebody man i'm surprised they didn't call the cops on me saying hey somebody in there said they're going to kill somebody named lucifer and they kill the devil and with everything that was going on it was interesting how the airlines took a hit they uh came out in an article that in 2019 march 19 2019 that there was 2.9 million airline passengers but then they said in march 19 2020 there was only 180 000. they lost a lot of money i was traveling in the middle of the pandemic i did 220 flights in 2020 200 000 miles in the air last year somehow i came to california like 10 times while cali was shut down this was my most traveled to state in the pandemic you know i was like man i just just got to come see my bros amen just show up like hey everything is good around here praise god you know preaching in parking lots preaching outside and it was interesting when i went to my orlando airport where everybody comes for disney i was the only passenger in the airport everybody else was pilots and flight attendants when i show up to orlando airport the line normally goes all the way back to the check-in desk but when i came in it was nobody was there so there were 12 open lines on the way to go to tsa pre-check i always go to tsa pre-check and there's nobody in the lines but i just still went to tsa pre-check because i get in faster when i went to tsa precheck the tsa agents were like what are you doing i was like oh i'm coming to tsa preacher they said you didn't see the 12 open lines i said oh man i didn't even think about i just come through here every day everybody was scared i was on the flight there's like five people on my flight pilots and flight attendants maybe one healthcare worker and nobody's talking nobody's even smiling it was like if you smiled it's like what are you doing smiling boy seriously it's like what's wrong with you smiling what's going on i was in atlanta international airport the largest airport in the nation in the world and there wasn't even 300 people in that airport the intercoms weren't even on they weren't even saying anything it was so eerie every now and again the intercom would come on and say six feet six feet six feet i'm like what is going on here this is odd and it was so unique uh what was happening and i always fly through orlando that's my home airport and because nobody's there like nobody's out there for the first time in all my travels through orlando i'm on the tram and when you're on the tram you get to see the airfield everything i saw an alligator walking on the airfield i'm like is jesus about to come matter did jesus already come back and is it just me and this alligator here it was so eerie that's the first time i ever seen the out like like them animals just didn't carry all right humans are on lockdown we coming out amen and so but while i was on these flights and just with all the uh the the tension and it was before the mass mandates on the airlines that didn't happen until may i was literally flying into places that were shut down to just come preach to an empty sanctuary and then go back on a flight and go home it was crazy like this this is going to be in the history books but when you're in the sky so much you start catching some trends and some patterns and i remember i'm looking down at about 30 000 feet and i'm looking down and i'm noticing that all of our landscape in the united states all of our landscape is in squares every building is in its own square i didn't see circle everything's square all across this country it's a perfect box the streets are square you go the farming the land is square and i started thinking hold on we got we our all of our measurements are just square we got square centimeters square uh meters square inches math you got square roots in your neighborhood they say go down the block everything is square and boxed which subtly pushes into our consciousness never think outside the box and don't you ever do anything outside the box if you start walking outside the box you might just get crucified the box the box it's the it puts a limit on what you can do and on what you can be it's to it's to limit your thinking it's the god we can plant a church here in this city they're like oh come on you're too young just chill you go ahead and get back in that box you just you wait till you're in your 30s you wait till come on somebody you wait till the late 20s you just get out in that box well i believe we can win our school and have a bible study and do something on our campus go come on you're in cali come on you just get back in your box and you just go somebody here has to break the limitations off of your mind and begin to declare what thus saith the lord in the middle of a contrary environment everything's limited and and what's interesting is we praise our culture we praise mediocrity greatness is crucified mediocrity is ah like for instance you hear athletes say i thank god that that that my mom was there for me all my life look everybody yeah um isn't that the responsibility of a mother i i thank god that my dad went to work and provided for us [Music] um isn't that the responsibility of a father we we complement mediocrity we do it in the church you know this person they pray and we're all like oh that's impressive isn't that like the basic requirements for being a christian but we have [Applause] they say things like this this person they'll do it with with preachers let me tell you this person let me tell you this they're a real christian isn't that the basic requirement for being a preacher come on somebody but because to the culture is abnormal it's abnormal to be married and be with the same person your whole life is abnormal to have both parents it's abnormal to pray it's abnormal to fast but that doesn't mean it's supernatural in the church come on somebody it's time to go beyond the limitations it's time to go beyond the ordinary it's time to go beyond what's acceptable and that is what being apostolic is amen we and and we put we we get i i prayed today and you're like man i gotta give myself a battle in the back yeah i was like oh that's just kind of what you're supposed to do and you get frustrated that god hasn't elevated you for doing the basics [Applause] we have to go beyond these limitations i i think about it you know people talk about you know me giving up my college basketball scholarships you know giving up my basketball career uh like that's something special everybody in the new testament to become a christian they left everything they left their inheritances they left their jobs they left their family and they took up their cross to follow jesus sacrifice isn't supposed to be supernatural come on somebody that is supposed to be a part of every christian amen so people look at me like oh man you give up basketball oh but i when i look at myself and i compare it to the new testament i realize you know what i wouldn't be worthy to be named in the new testament i'd be a multitude y'all not hearing me out there i'd be in the multitude they'd be like peter and the multitudes i'll be like yeah multitude number two but we have limited what we can be and we think we're supernatural compared to a decadent downtrodden culture you know what holiness is holiness is not being only separated from the world holiness is being separated unto god so so if if this is the world and god is here and i'm right here holiness is supposed to make me draw closer to him but what happens is that we just want to remain separate and so as the world gets worse and the world gets worse you're still separate but you are far from where you're supposed to be in god stop measuring your holiness and godliness by what the world is doing and get back in the book come on somebody and you gotta you gotta break these limitations off of you got to break these limitations off of you now the children of israel they were destined to go into the promised land am i helping anybody yet the children of israel were destined to go into the promised land but when they came out of egypt they were slaves for 430 years and they came out of egypt in a single day and look what the text says the text says that they came out of egypt by armies and one day they went from slaves to generals oh that's tough to comprehend the baker is now the leader of the army what's your military background oh i uh baked bread what's your military background well you know i used to wash feral sandals they came out in a moment as armies and it is tough for them to comprehend their destiny because of their history because of their background and where they came from it is tough for them to operate and what god is calling them to operate in so when they go in to possess the land the bible says they went in and they saw giants in the land and when they saw the giants in the land they got the grapes they got all the beauty and and the milk and honey they saw it all but they said there's giants in the land and we saw ourselves as grasshoppers and they didn't want to possess the land because of how they saw themselves and god said when they refused to possess the lamb the text says they limited the holy one of israel how they saw themselves limited what god wanted to do through them where god wants to open all these doors for you he wants to plant churches he wants bible studies he wants all these things but but until you get the right perception of yourself you will limit god's work in your life it's time to get a new identity it's time to get an identity that is rooted in the precepts of the kingdom of god when they limited themselves they didn't realize that they were also limiting god they say look we believe god we trust in god we don't know all that we know all that but we see ourselves as less than what he created us to be and the bible says god was grieved he was vexed he was angry god is angry when you see yourself through a world lens and not a biblical lens he's angry when you see yourself as self-defeated as unable as not able to do great things for god as insignificant because when you limit yourself you are limiting what god is trying to do through your life friedrich nietzsche you've heard me say it this man was an atheist philosopher a german philosopher his father was a uh lutheran pastor but he was an atheist atheist philosopher in the late 1800s he died in 1900 and he he said this he was describing the european society and he said he said the concepts of abortion and evolution has caused our society to believe that life has no value this is what he said he said the concept of abortion evolution has caused our society to believe that life has no value look what he says so as a result we will create a fictitious world to get our value from he said because we see no longer value in this world we will create a fake world to get our value from that's the internet that's social media that's television he said it long before it came to be because we have devalued this life we will create a filtered life to get our value from uh i asked someone the other day has anyone ever seen a physical blue thumb come and like everything that you do has anyone here ever seen a physical blue thumb just watch you worship and be like hey i like that cool stuff just going around the sanctuary yeah yeah but yeah but nah yeah a physical has anyone here ever seen a physical red heart just coming i hurt you you've never seen it so why do you get your self-esteem from something that doesn't exist you're getting depressed over something that doesn't exist and when the if you take a picture and your dad looks at you and says man you look very nice in that you're like things thanks dad and then you go post it on the internet and in two hours you got three likes you're like you know what let me delete this i only let me delete this i don't even i i knew but how it's received to others doesn't change what the father says i don't care if nobody else likes it come on as long as the father is pleased his voice should override every other voice you know it you put that post up you got two likes in 30 minutes you're like you know what i'ma filter this thing am i speaking real life in here and you limit yourself not only by how you see yourself but how the culture sees you which is inaccurate and the problem is when you limit yourself you are limiting god hmm limiting god in this world is trained for you to invest more in a fake world then you do the real world uh if you put a viral video one viral video that's a minute long you will make more in a lifetime than it takes a doctor and a lawyer to make in 10 years you will make more in a moment than it takes a doctor and a lawyer to make in 10 years they're making 10 million dollars off of one viral video come on somebody and a doctor and a lawyer goes to school eight to ten years come on somebody years ago they used to say if you play video games all day you're lazy you can't say that no more they're having stadiums of people they win a tournament making two million five million dollars in a moment why because this culture rewards the fake world more than it rewards the real world help me holy ghost and that's why that and it's designed to get your your emotions so caught up in something unreal something fake that you don't have any energy to do something for real in life some people say but jackson you know i don't really cry in church it's really not my thing i just don't do it i just look i just don't cry and god's like okay but then we see you watching netflix and your favorite character dies in netflix and you don't even want to go to school the next day you crying so come on somebody why because your emotions get wrapped up in a fake world where you have no energy to give in a real world but i come to tell you can i tell you what's more real than anything that you can ever imagine the holy ghost is real the power of god is real the anointing is real hey but it's designed to put you into a box to be satisfied just what god has delivered you from but in deuteronomy 6 23 he stated i brought you out from hence to bring you in meaning i brought you out of egypt to bring you into the promised land what god was saying was i would not have brought you out of sin if i did not intend for you to possess the land in other words i don't let you die on drugs if i didn't have a promise for you to come into i didn't just deliver you out of i am delivering you to something i got a plan come on somebody and the very assurance that you came out it's the very assurance that you're gonna go in come on somebody and if you've been born again of the water and of the spirit that is all the assurance you need to go and possess everything that god you would possess whoo so you're gonna possess the land you're gonna possess the promise you're gonna possess the anointing you're gonna plant churches you're gonna reach your school you're gonna reach your co-workers you're going to do that how do you know that brother jackson because you came out of egypt and god doesn't just leave you in a wilderness in a process in a journey with no destination in mind come on somebody with all the hell that you've been through it's not because you're just supposed to survive in the wilderness no it's time to square your shoulders i am beginning to march with marching orders into the promise of god amen the problem our problem with our generation is we we got the revelation that we've delivered from we've been delivered from sin but we haven't got the revelation that we are delivered to a place a destination a missionary evangelist pastor teacher bible study teacher praise singer come on somebody and we just keep talking about where we came from but i want to know where are you going and too many people have been stuck in root on the way you ever ordered a package on amazon boy i feel like preaching oh lord and you got amazon prime it's supposed to show up in 19 hours and 43 minutes but you go and check the progress of your package and all it says is enroute does that frustrate you supposed to arrive in two days a week later no updates enroute oh come on let's get into somebody in here i ordered it listen i bought it i paid for it i invested in it not for it to be stuck in route but to get to its destination can i tell you you have been bought you have been paid for not just for you to be stuck but god has a destination that he is trying to take you to come on it's just time to get there how long have you been confessing your calling come on it's just time to get there come on it's time to put some actions behind it you called the preacher okay let's start teaching bible studies oh you thought you're caught just accepting just accepting the calling like okay any moment now no no no no no it's time for you to start reaching some souls where you are come on somebody i i didn't realize that whenever i wasn't i wasn't even called to ministry yet i didn't realize after eight weeks being in church i started teaching bible studies because i had a burden and i was teaching bible studies to a swedish person and i was teaching bible study to a cantonese person i was teaching bible studies to a guy from cameroon i was teaching bible studies to a girl from korea i was teaching bible studies to somebody from china and every week they showed up international students they came to my bible study every week and i had only had the holy ghost for not even three months but after teaching bible studies reaching souls in my vicinity i didn't realize that i wasn't just delivered from something that god was leading me into something he had a whole path laid out for and when i got a burden i didn't realize just reaching a few people all of a sudden now god would give me a call to minister a call to preach i didn't understand it but i accepted it while i was still playing college basketball then all of a sudden god said i didn't deliver you for you to just play basketball your whole life i delivered you that you might preach my gospel to the nations so give it up come on i'm taking you on a journey i'm taking you on a journey when you start doing the will of god where you are right now god has a destination in mind that he's gonna take you to a higher level [Applause] amen amen amen but if i would have limited myself eight weeks only being in church come on somebody and i say well i don't know a lot so i'ma wait to be in church 10 years when i know a lot before i start reaching people i'd have missed i'd have missed the destination i'd have been i'd still be stuck in route but when i got over my insecurities and when my burden got me over my inadequacies see that's what i need to happen in this place i need some young people to just get so burdened for this lost world that you lose sight of everything that's wrong with you you're probably in a better condition spiritually than i was at eight weeks in church you knew more scriptures than i knew god's not looking for a perfect vessel he's looking for somebody that's burdened can i tell you there's 1.7 billion people in india there's 1.3 billion people in china we've got about 350 million people in the united states we've only got almost 6 million people in the united pentecostal church we have a world to reach no i don't think you're hearing me yet i said we have a world to reach oh lord we have a world to reach if one person catches a burden in this service this morning this was a success all all i need is just one person to get a burden where you just can't watch people go to hell every day i'll be honest i just can't take it anymore did you know that jesus died for the whole world he died for the chinese he died for the vietnamese he died for the black he died for the white he died for the republican he died for the democrat did you know that did you know that he died for everybody so you have a responsibility to reach everybody i don't care how much you disagree with them you have a responsibility to share the gospel with the broken world everybody everybody someone say everybody when you start stepping out of the box you know jesus did something out of the box he he's the fullness of god he robbed himself in flesh that never happened before that's out of the box and you do something out of the box you're going to get crucified hello and in matthew 27 37 put that scripture up there for me i want you to show i want to show you this i want to i want to show you what's at stake here matthew 27 37 look what it says oh i love the word of god matthew 20 says look look what it says and and they set up over his head his accusation written this is jesus the king of the jews hold that scripture up there what do you do when it's a crime to be you they said over his head on his cross he said this accusation this is jesus king of the jews he was accused and sentenced for being him it was a crime to be him it was illegal to be him matter of fact when they said are you the christ or not he said he said thou sayest the bible says they looked at him and said this is blasphemy what do you do when it's blasphemous to be you where's blasphemous to believe that you can change the world where it's illegal to believe that this message can make a difference and the only way for him to stay off the cross was to deny himself and deny his identity just don't say that you're jesus king of the jews and we'll let you off this cross but you got to make up your mind i'm never going to compromise my identity i'm still gonna be apostolic come on somebody i'm still gonna believe hero israel the lord our god is one lord come on somebody i'm still gonna believe then peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the holy ghost come on i cannot deny my identity and in your identity in your dna you have everything you need to change the world you have everything you need to change your community you have everything you need to win the loss do not deny your identity and let me tell you the bible says while jesus on the cross they looked at him and said if you be the king of israel come off of the cross where the only way to please the world was to step out of his assignment the only way to please the world was to step out of the will of god but he stayed on the cross and after he stayed on the cross and he gave up the ghost and the rail was rent from top to bottom and the limitation was broken listen what happened all of a sudden the ground began to shake some things began to happen and after those things happened there was a centurion that saw the effects of his sacrifice and he said truly this was the son of god the only way to convince a world is to make such a sacrifice that they can't ignore the effects of your sacrifice i remember years ago am i help wave a hand if i'm helping somebody oh my lord y'all are just so hungry here you are just so hungry for god i'm telling you you can make a difference let me look at my timer aren't you thankful i preach with a timer i appreciate the time i think of you guys i just can't show you i can't show it to you i can't show you how long i've been going listen years ago in 2014 i uh there was a shooting at florida state university and florida state university is about three hours from where i live and at this time i was leading the campus ministries in our district so when i heard about this shooting people died the shooter was killed uh it was a bad thing and i had campus ministers that attended that college so i was very burdened because i was praying that none of our campus ministers were affected or killed because people die and so i called everybody there in tallahassee to see if everybody was okay thank god everyone was okay but two of the campus ministers were in the library while the shooting was happening they had to hide under desk i was so burdened with what happened i went to prayer the lord said you need to go down to tallahassee and pray with these campus ministers so i got in the car i drove through three hours this was in 2014 november 2014. i drove three hours i got the campus ministers together i said let's go have prayer when i walked on that campus you could hear a pin drop it was silent i went down we were gonna find a place to pray we passed the library when we saw the library there was caution tape all around the library library there was over 10 reporters on the on the side there were there were about 400 students off in the distance just looking awestruck and i knew that the only way the person that could change this atmosphere was an apostolic so i lifted up my voice and said can i have your attention we're going to have prayer in this place and the shooter's not going to get glory for everything that took place here today there's going to be peace and comfort gather in we're about to pray all the reporters gathered around me over 200 plus students gathered around me we joined hands together i began to pray over them when i prayed over him the power of god hit the place they interviewed all our campus ministers afterwards it went it went all across the news outlets this was in 20 this was in uh 26 2014 november 2014 after that happened i never shared that story of what happened there but i preached at the beginning of 2020 last year in january i appreciate the cmi awakenings conference and i shared that story of what happened at fsu and i told them about coming out of the corner coming out of the box i told them that story i didn't that was the first time i shared that story in five years after i was done sharing that story in january 2020 a young lady came up to me and said i remember you she said i was a freshman in college at fsu and i was there when the shooting happened and i heard you call us to prayer she said i came in that prayer meeting and she said i had never been to church before she said that was the first time i ever felt the power of god in my life look what she said she said about a year and a half later god she said i got into an apostolic church i got born again of the watering of the spirit she said now i've been leading a campus ministry in wisconsin for the last two years all it took was one person to step out of the box step out of the comfort zone and there was a ripple effect of things that began to happen as god ordained things into step this world needs our message the gospel repentance baptism in jesus name receiving the holy ghost evidence by speaking in other tongues that's not just just just some great thing to believe it is the only thing that can transform a soul and you have the message i uh i oh goodness i have so much to tell you you're so hungry can i tell you what happened when i went to this spot that george floyd died last year they didn't want to see that video did anyone see that video god oh i feel the holy ghost god had me on a period of silence i'm gonna try to get through this quick but i gotta release a burden into this generation god had me i'm not going to go into the details of this silence but god put me on a silence in december 2019 and he said victor i don't want you to release an inspirational video i don't want you to start a podcast i don't want to release any of your books i just don't want you to release anything until until i release you to say something and do something that was december 2019 and so i didn't he just let me do my inspirational post on instagram every now and again but he wouldn't let me say anything that was december 2019 and then march the world shut down and when the world shut down in march the only way to get a message out was through a video through a podcast and through a book but god said victor you're not doing that he said if somebody calls you to do something you can do that but you're not going to initiate anything so he had me on the silence and all this silence i literally watched my world just get broken in pieces i saw this world and this country that i love i saw the division and all the things that were happening and god wouldn't let me say anything he had me keep my mouth shut i just kept inspiring people with uh inspirational posts every now and again then george i didn't know how long this silence would last i thought it would last 10 years 15 years i didn't know i was prepared to meet it for the rest of my life and then george floyd died and it was a tragic death and there was division all across this country as people were pitching against one another and there was just a great divide people were hurt people were broken people were angry it was divided and god still wouldn't let me say anything but then i woke up that friday morning and the lord after six months of silence the lord spoke to me said victor i release you i said you're sure lord i can stay silent for for as long as you need he said i release you and so i went into my office and i recorded a 20-minute message to the world and when i was done the lord said that's not it and then i went on instagram live to try to talk to some kids for a little bit the lord said delete it that's not it either so i didn't know what to do i went to my room and for six hours i sat under the covers and i was depressed because i didn't know what to do because my world was being broken before my eyes and the lord released me to do something but i didn't know what to do and for six hours i just cried and i just yelled at the fetal position in my bed depressed i didn't even want to get out of the bed and then finally the lord spoke to me that evening he said victor why don't you just go there remember at this time everything was shut down we weren't having services no nobody was leaving the building nobody was doing anything but the lord said i need you to go to the site that the tragedy happened and i want you to preach my name all of a sudden the closest flight the earliest flight that i can get there was out of atlanta because most of the flights were still limited so i booked the flight out of atlanta the next morning i left my house at 12 a.m in the morning before i left my wife was crying in prayer over me i said baby i said don't pray for me i said i've been praying for six months that we can have an impact he said i said now's not the time for prayer i said this world needs action i pray for six months to to help somebody in the world and when the moment came i'm not gonna waste it on another prayer meeting it's time to do something i left my house at 12 o'clock in the morning i drove six hours when i got there all of a sudden when i when i booked the flight i asked my pastor i said pastor god's telling me to go to minneapolis to pray over the people i will not go without your permission if you tell me to cancel these flights i will he said victor you have my permission you could go as soon as he said i could go that depression lifted off of me and i began to drive six hours to atlanta got out on the first flight i got i got into atlanta about 6 30 my flight took off i got there at 10 am when i got there at 10 am the place that the tragedy happened was about 24 minutes from the minneapolis airport i i rented a vehicle i was expecting to see a few people i was expecting just to see a few people i just went their burden to just reach one person to give hope to one person but i underestimated because when i went to that block where that death happened there was well over 20 000 people in those streets there weren't any any preachers in the streets they were there were churches that were serving food to people i went there to pray for the police officers and the protesters to be a voice of unity a voice of love a voice of compassion to reflect the image of jesus christ there was a billy graham a bus nearby they were not preaching no they had brooms and dustpans because they were cleaning up the cities near uh the the streets nearby from things that were burned down and when i got there as soon as i got out of my car within 30 seconds somebody passed me and i said hey i came here from florida and i'm coming to pray over minneapolis do you have a prayer request they said to say we do right there in the streets of minneapolis i said lord jesus i'm asking for you to answer this prayer i prayed for well over a hundred people doctors lawyers uh homeless people i prayed over anybody that i came into contact to and then finally i got to the spot where the tragedy happened and when i got there there were thousands of flowers all over the place people were walking somebody asked me how did it feel to go there i said the best way i can describe it is that they were waiting for me they were like sheep without a shepherd and i looked at a guy near me i went to minneapolis by myself there was a guy near me a stranger his name was peter i said what's your name he said peter i said i said hey i'm going to pray over these people do you mind recording it for me he said sure thank god he didn't steal my phone but i was walking in such an anointing if he would have stole my phone i'm telling you he'd have dropped dead or while he was running that phone it disappeared in his hand and showed up in mine that's the type of anointing that i was walking in and so i went up there and i just said i didn't know what to do but i remembered in the small setting of fsu i said can i have your attention and i remembered in my small bible studies on my college campus where where we would stand up on the cafeteria table and say can i have your attention there's a bible study in room room 211. and we always did that so right there in the middle of everybody i said can i have your attention and everybody looked at me and i was like oh wow i really do have your attention i didn't expect it to work like that and i didn't know what to say thank god the holy ghost started speaking through me huh i said we're going to have prayer i said i came here from florida i came here for unity i came here for love i came here for restoration i said i believe there's still hope in minneapolis i said does anybody believe there's hope in minneapolis everybody started clapping it was like a pentecostal church service i'm not kidding i didn't meet an ounce of resistance while i was there no one opposed me i said come forward let's pray everybody joined in when i joined then i prayed over them the power of god hit the place i didn't even tell them my name all i said was i'm a upci minister i'm an evangelist from florida i said if you want to find a church near you go to www.upci.org can i tell you when that video was posted that video was seen all over the world over five million times eddie james the famous gospel artist he shared the video and he said nobody is doing this he said victor jackson is the first person in the world to go to minneapolis he said i'm gonna follow his example he said somebody tell victor jackson that he's my hero he said i thank god for the united pentecostal church international people across the world begin to type in www.upci.org and they begin to find churches all across the nation i got testimony after testimony of people finding a church that pentecost sunday and they were born again of the water and of the spirit it happened in oregon it happened in arizona it happened in nevada come on somebody it happened across the nation one woman the the closest church that she could find was out of state she woke up that sunday morning and drove hours out of state and received the holy ghost and was baptized the news stations came to the place that i prayed the next day they said listen the day that i was there the national guard he came in that was the first day there was a mandatory curfew at 8 p.m i had to get a flight out before 8 pm because everything was getting shut down but the next day they said the news station said they came in the same spot that i prayed and they said look at this there's only peace here they said there was some riots and other parts of minneapolis but they said in this spot where george floyd died he said it's only been peace here but this is the first sign of peace in 17 days they said that day they brought a baptistery in the same spot that i prayed and they began to baptize scores of people in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sin three days later they brought another baptistery and put it in the same spot and they beg i got it on video they begin to baptize people in the name of jesus christ and you hear thousands in the crowd saying yes in the name of jesus let me tell you the most powerful thing that happened wasn't me going there the most powerful thing that happened was how the church responded our churches united pentecostal churches apostolic churches began to go into the streets and they began to pray for the police officers they began to pray for the protesters they went down in city hall and began to pray over people they were singing our apostolic songs in the middle of the streets something began to change in the spiritual realm and you know what all the denominations started falling in step with what we did every week i'm still getting testimonies across the country someone said someone said my brother has been a backslid for over a decade he's a regional representative for a company she said he was in minneapolis when you went there he was literally down the street and he said he saw you preaching and he called her up and said hey somebody's preaching here that he saw the video said that was the guy he was in that vicinity a backslider and he said i'm giving my life back to god i'm coming back to church [Applause] an 80 year old grandmother 80 year old 85 years old an 85 year old grandmother she's been an atheist her whole life when she saw the video she got down on her knees and lifted her hands and began to pray under the power of god [Applause] they prayed for governors they prayed for mayors there was a light and a broken time when i got home minneapolis homicide detectives families were reaching out to me they say please pray for my husband they said he is scared to death he's been dealing with post traumatic stress disorder can you call him and pray i picked up the phone and i called that homicide detective in minneapolis and i prayed over him that's what makes the church distinct because we don't get entangled with hate in the world [Applause] we are distinct because we showed love to every person every person not the people i agree with not the people i disagree with every person not the people that have my same culture not the people that have my same opinions every person in the world and there are people in your communities nothing special about me i have the same holy ghost you have there are people in your communities that are waiting for you to release the love of god because they're feeling hopeless they're feeling broken they're hurting by everything going on in the world and they're waiting on somebody to get a burden your family members are waiting on somebody to get a burden i want everybody to stand with me let it be an example to you that one person can make a difference no one else has the answer it takes more than just believing it takes more than just repenting it takes a conversion does anybody believe that i was preaching at a church one time the 400 people in this church i was when i preached in this church when i was done in alabama the pastor came up to me and said victor you don't understand i got six members in my church that used to be members of the ku klux klan six members he said they got saved they left the ku klux klan behind he said but you wouldn't believe what they just told me these former members of the ku klux klan they said victor they said you're you're their favorite preacher that's only the holy ghost we cannot rely on this world for our answers come on somebody we've got to go back to the book we've got to go back to the cross we've got to go back to loving we've got to go back to loving [Applause] and if we don't present the answer the world will just keep coming up with other answers and it's time to present an answer to a broken world it's oh come on somebody step out of your pew with your hands lifted right now i feel the holy ghost there's a burden that's going to fall on this place there's a burden for your city there's a burden for your school there's a burden at [Music] [Music] let a burden grip these young people we have a world to reach god with your love come on let a burden fall on you let a burden fall on you for your community let a burden fall on you for your lost loved ones let a berlin begin the group yakalabo a burden that you can't sleep away a burden that you cannot pray away come on let a burden fall on this generation right now come on i want you to lay your hand on somebody near you and i want you to pray that a burden from heaven would come on them come on i want you to lay your hand on somebody near you right now and i want you to pray that a burden from heaven will begin to fall on them let a burden for california hit talab hosaya let a birth caller i feel a burden beginning to descend right now in the name of jack calabro let there be a burden that begins to grip come on come on pray over them hey god let a burden begin to grip them let a burden of love begin to grip them you
