called restlessness it's a very personal one to me yeah i think the coaches are going to love it my song's really an open letter to my dad i was 16 when my dad died he had a wonderful heart and was always the happiest man in the room to lose him at such a young age it was a big thing the song it's me telling him what i've been through but where i am now married living in devon and it's almost like coming out of the other side as the day is approached more and more i've wanted a coach to turn and so if i can get into what the song's about as much as possible it'll be great [Music] they frightened everyone in a way it's a compliment yeah i knew very flattered tom who were your singers that you looked up to growing up mostly um gospel seconds and um rock and roll singers as well like little richard you know and jerry lee lewis when you get a chance to sing with them you think my god this is tremendous well are you who your influence is i like the folks that could just make whatever's in their head come to life yeah so like the princes i love stevie e.t oh have you worked with stevie wonder tommy yeah yeah he was on my tv show he was yeah we did a medley of his songs he's a great musician we became friends and he's he's a wonderful person can we pull something up on the screen right quick oh this is crazy stevie wonder's on the voice gotta get this right because it's for sir tom jones i feel so very happy to congratulate you as you celebrate 80 years on this planet here we go down down wow [Music] i had the pleasure of not just meeting that person who's saying that song but meeting a new friend and i know that that friendship will last for a lifetime so many wonderful moments we've shared i still remember when we did your show and i was telling you the words the uptight you were telling me the words too it's not unusual i played drums and it was just a wonderful thing i love you with my whole heart and i want you to promise me that you will do
