[Music] that was crazy what is your name who are you clodelia my name is claudia holloway and i'm 24 from huntington cambridgeshire i grew up in malaysia going to school you know you had indians malays chinese and you were all just one when did you first realise that you loved singing when i was about seven eight years old i just was singing traditional songs that have been passed down through the generations [Music] and the beautiful dances beautiful songs that really made me fall in love with music and what music can do for a community so i've been about a bit yeah a little bit and then i studied in america so i've got lots of different yeah in there i decided to come back to england because i wanted to be closer to family my heart's just going to burst right over the pride to see you walking out [Music] there [Music] i feel like i come from many different places so i don't feel like i fit into a box ethnically culturally and performance wise as well [Music] the song i'm singing today is a little bit risky because it blends two very different genres together i don't think it's ever been done before this way so i'm very nervous because i just don't know which way it's going to go yo when that beats wrapped i just freaking like just exploded i'm so glad you couldn't turn [Applause] oh god opera only no no you got versatility [Applause] hey i just i just want to say that blew my mind i think at first was all a bit like what's going on but then when the bee came in everyone just went crazy in here and the energy thank you it's so refreshing to hear that kind of voice with that be on this show i just loved it wow i can't stop screaming about you i'm gonna steal you eventually i'm gonna steal you you're so cool because when opera singers have come on this show my first thought is uh oh i don't know how to work with that but you made it modern and i was like this could be on the radio and then you're like oh i can sing more than just opera you could like feature on one of my songs showing them all your range oh my god um my team is full you know that's the only reason i didn't turn but i know that if will at a spot because he's always talking about putting opera with a beat and here you are already doing it [Laughter] you're going to the finals yeah hands down we're gonna win together our first year ever both of us i'm so hungry to win this competition with a superstar like you it would be such an honor and a privilege to have you take the last spot on team megan and that's my pit just loving that [Applause] i just wanted to hear storms coming as well at the same time honestly i don't think there's anyone in this whole competition ever as good as that i don't know what else to say you're just brilliant and you're so unique and different and that's what the voice is all about you've got me and megan as coaches potentially this is the voice and you have the voice it's brilliant [Applause] she hasn't picked you yet [Laughter] well listen it's time for you to decide who's going to be your coach drum roll please foreign [Applause] oh [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i'm so excited i'm going to walk you through every step i'm going to help you with every song so first pairing will be claudelia and blaze they're so different but they're like specific and so cool like they couldn't go against anyone else on the team [Music] at my blind audition i gave it my all and i ended up getting four chairs i said i'm not all the i love her voice and her swag and i freaked out my heart is pounding and i'm so excited i found you it was crazy it meant the world to me for the blinds i remember being in absolute disbelief pardelia is really hitting every single note [Music] the beat drops and it was crazy i was stoked that will couldn't pick anybody because he had a full team the song i chose is the greatest by sia you can shine with your caribbean swag yeah and then we can find every spot to just wail my biggest concern is fitting a classical tone into a different genre sometimes it can sound a bit odd oh oh you know the stamina i'm terrified to be paired up with blaze because of the swag that she's got saying we got the stamina she's such a badass this part right here i'd want you to go full on i'm nervous to be paired up with claudelia the way she hits like the whistle notes it's like oh god i shouldn't have done this it's gonna be great [Music] literally my only note was dance moves yeah we're gonna figure it out never have a moment where you stayed put i think i was holding back a little you know could have moved a bit more pose everything it's just like listen pay attention i do need to bring attitude into this that is very new for me i have a lot to work on this is gonna be one of the most difficult decisions i'll have to make it's ladies china in order to stand out i need to bring all the stuff this is my time and i'm gonna make it happen i'm not going down without a fight [Applause] this competition has given me a taste of what i want to do i'm gonna fight to do that let the battle commence [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] give up [Music] [Applause] [Music] singer that's a tough song to sing thank you it's a well done it was spectacular you guys sound great you look great you performed awesome did you guys have a good time the best amazing did you say blazing blazin [Applause] you both sounded great in your own ways i loved it oh my gosh that was um my first battle performance like with my team and i'm so proud i'm so i'm so proud you sounded so good you both shined in your own areas i forgot this is what happens next but it is time for you to make your decision megan i know this is the last thing you want to do yeah megan who's it going to be the person i would like to take through is blaze okay here we go cordelia you are now available for a steal oh [Applause] congratulations i always knew that i was gonna steal you i knew that i'm so happy that you're on my team hi hello how are you how are you good nice to meet you i'm jesse going into the rehearsal today i was so nervous little mix i know all their songs so no pressure [Music] i'm classically trained but i would love to make opera really freaking cool i'm so glad you couldn't turn eventually i'm gonna steal you darren claudelia is inventive so through the whole competition i've had my eye to steal her megan who is the winner of the battle blaze will stole me and i was just really happy i feel very very honoured i'll bless you no i'll make it worth your time i will make it do you know what song you're gonna sing i was listening to painted black by the rolling stones and i feel like nobody's gonna expect me to do a rolling stone song and i feel like we can make a really eerie like menacing version of the painted black i love the fact that claudia did not choose a traditional classical song she's dope [Music] claudia has got some wonderful faces when she sings but i really enjoyed them i pull some caulkers when i'm performing i know i have an expressive face but it is an intense song i don't want this to be the end and i'm ready to prove to will that i deserve a place in the semi-final [Applause] [Music] i want it painted black no colors anymore i want them to turn black i see the girls walk by dressed in this [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] just happens every day [Music] [Applause] wow that was intense oh tom well did it knock your socks off it did mick jagger never sounded like that [Applause] honestly i didn't expect that at all like every time we've heard you sing you you're always in your operatic voice honestly that was one of my favorite performances i've ever seen on this show i was proud as punch because you know she treated the song like a punching bag and um you had all the right punctuations no really seriously because she's not just an opera singer she can do all different styles and that's why i'm really proud of how you executed it was great thank you you are glorious well done put your hands together for cordelia a place in the semi-final would mean so much like when else do i get to perform on a stage with an amazing band with that you know phenomenal man that was so different to what i've seen before but you ripped i mean yeah she was into that yeah he's got a tough tough pick right so all three of will's team have performed but as we know only one can go through to the semi-final so let's welcome them back to the stage giovanni cordelia and baby soul [Applause] so what's going through
