greetings in the matchless name of the lord jesus christ this is pastor darren farmer senior and this is my lovely wife lady michelle farmer and certainly we are so glad that you've decided to join the upper room episode cathedral on all of our social media platforms certainly it is not by coincidence that you've stumbled across us this is by divine appointment we are so excited and glad that you've landed here i want you to know that there's room for you at the upper room first lady why don't you tell us what you love most about our worship experiences i absolutely love the word of god that goes forth each and every week i love the souls that are coming to receive something from god and i absolutely love the spirit of love that lives in this house i mean we've seen lives transformed virtually and in person i'm telling you we have something for everybody for the children for musicians for preachers for the pew remember we have something for you we have something for everybody i'm telling you the upper room apostolic cathedral is the place where god reveals the manifestation of [Music] oh god help us to receive what you have for us oh god oh god we ask you to walk up and down the aisle weighs oh god sit on every row oh god in the name of jesus we are looking to you o god the author and finisher of our faith you said who for the joy that was set before you you endure the cross you despise the shape and now you are shut down at the right hand of the throne of god and because of that god you have allowed us to sit in heavenly places or we magnify you for it oh our soul loves you for it our praise is unto you receive our worship today receive our praise today in the name of jesus oh god let your spirit be evident in this place throw your weight around in this place in the name of jesus call someone oh god to cry out what must i do to be saved deliver god heal god set free god in the name of jesus satan we take authority through the power of the holy ghost god just said whatsoever we bind on earth is bound in heaven and whatsoever we lose on earth is loosed in heaven so today god we lose peace we lose joy we lose salvation we lose healing in the name of jesus oh god we thank you today hallelujah today somebody lift up your voice and put your hands together let's give god some praise let's give god some thanks let's give god some glory in the name of jesus hallelujah hallelujah we worship you we love you we appreciate you we adore you we consider it a counted done in the name of jesus god receive us in jesus name amen you don't have to stop giving have to stop calling his name awesome you don't have to stop calling his name great this is only the beginning where god shall reveal his power this is only the beginning where god shall continue to he is the alpha he is the omega he is the beginning he is the end he is the first he is the last he is the one that is and is to come he is the king of glory he is the lord almighty he is god almighty tongues as the spirit of god gives utterance and a lifestyle of holiness and that which is pleasing unto god ephesians chapter 3 verses 20 and 21 says noun unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we could act or think according to the power that worketh in us unto him be glory in the church of god jesus christ through all ages and through all the world without him and the bible says unto him be glory in the church unto him be glory in the church unto him be glory in the church so come on church come on church and let's give god glory come on church and let's give god praise and if you're confused about with the churches you are the church you are the church you are the church we are the church so let's give god glory let's give god honor let's give god praise i love him [Music] cause he's been just that good to me i don't know about nobody else he been just that good to me come to think about it i could have lost my mind a long time ago [Music] as you take your seats in the presence of the lord one more time clap your hands all over this cathedral come on clap your hands if you love god clap your hands if you're happy and you know it cut and give god glory praise the lord everybody praise the lord everybody my name is youth minister shania um and i'm coming before you this morning to uh give you um an inspirational um ministry moment and so um first corinthians third chapter uh sixth verse says paul's speaking he says i have watered i have planted apollos have watered but god gave the increase and um i just want to say that reapers are the only people that sell and so for the first time tonight i want you to turn to your neighbor and ask your neighbor are you a reaper that neighbor was dry i turned to your other neighbor and say neighbor are you a reaper because sowing and reaping is a principle because you because you sow you reap you have to understand that sowing and reaping go hand in hand you cannot reap without sowing first and so what what i basically want to say to you all tonight is that if you don't have anything in the ground there's no possible way that you're going to reap anything and the fact of the matter is a lot of us we want blessings we want god's harvest but the fact of the matter is that a lot of us don't even sew we don't have seed in the ground and so it's god wants us to have his blessings he wants us to have harvest he wants us to indulge in all of his fruitfulness um but a lot of times we don't have just we just don't have what it takes um because out of our own seed that we're not sowing and so i would dare to say shame on you if you think that god is going to give you any return on an investment that you have not put in the ground the bible says he gives seed to the sower why would god give us seed if we did not expect us to experience a full return on our investments and you're probably wondering well why are you talking about harvest and seed and we're in the month of supernatural power i mean the reason i'm bringing it up is because in the context of agriculture there's a period of time between planting and harvest called pre-harvest interval in the pre-harvest interval farmers it is literally illegal for a farmer to harvest or pick anything or tear anything out of the ground um when it's not ready and so i wasn't even supposed to say this but oftentimes a lot of things that look ready aren't ready and um because it's not ready we can get overzealous and want to pick it up off the ground but just for two people who will catch us in the holy ghost and know they have seat in the ground i would dare you to declare this with me that you are going to maximize your pre-harvest interval [Applause] and pre-harvest interval is literally you acknowledging that i cannot afford anything to get in the way of what i'm about to read it cannot interfere with my provision it cannot interfere with my harvest it i have to protect my peace i have to protect my sanity i have to protect my mind because what i'm about to read it just can't get in the way of that the bible says in genesis 8 and 22 it says that as long as the earth remains seedtime and harvest time shall not cease meaning that god wants us to have provision he wants it he wants us to have it right because it's never going to fail but we just don't do our part and um so paul says i have planned it he says apollo's word that's natural but god says i'm gonna do it in the supernatural and so this is not just the month of supernatural power but i would dare to call it supernatural september because i'm gonna do my part in the natural i can only plant the seed i can't make it grow i i can only do my part to put in the ground i can't raise it up and so god says meet me in the natural and i'm going to match yours in the supernatural it's not a deep word it's not a deep word but what i want you to say [Applause] that consider this and i'm gonna go on with the welcome um in genesis the god of creation he places adam in the garden and um he gives him dominion he he plants him um and he says be fruitful and multiply after he gives them eve and um i want to dissect the fact of fruitful and multiply there is only two things that's that fruit does it nourishes the body and it provides seed for more fruits right right but in the latter part of first corinthians 3 6 it says and god gives the increase um but a lot of times when we think of increase we think of addition but mathematically speaking multiply is to increase rapidly so not only is god would this is why i like god because he don't play fair right he says not only am i going to give you full return on your investment but i'm going to meet you beyond more than what you even sown in the ground so all you got to do is put the seed in and i'm going to increase it rapidly i don't know about anybody else but also he puts he puts adam in a garden and i just want to prophetically declare over this house that this next season of your life god is going to plant you in a garden when he put adam in the garden it was already harvest he never intended for adam and eve not to have abundance there was there was animals there there was fruit there there was everything they needed there and so i am prophesying to you all that the next season of your life as you maximize your pre-harvest interval there's going to be nothing but abundance you're not going to need anything but room to receive you're going to have peace and abundance you're going to have love and abundance you're going to have cell mind and abundance you're going to have money in abundance you want to have degrees in abundance you're going to have acceptances and abundance and so i just come to encourage you all tonight i always want to get you excited because harvest time is coming but you can only be excited about harvest time when you have seed in the ground [Applause] [Music] [Applause] i get excited about seeing tom because i know what it looks like when i don't see anything i know what it looks like when i think something is ready but my blessing is not here yet i know what it's like to keep coming to church sunday after sunday and not having what i feel like is mine so i declare you to get in this phrase get in this worship because it is god who wants us to have jesus i've never seen the righteous forsaken nor his steed praying for bread that the harvest is principled but the laborers are few all you have to do is sow that's it that's it i'm gonna get y'all to welcome because i'm not the preacher [Applause] people know that we just started our team talk about a month and a half ago and it's been thriving it's been thriving for our young people [Applause] um and so here at teen talk um i'll talk about what we did today today um we literally did a basically an on-the-job training of how to evangelize and we're teaching our young people practical scriptures that when people come to them about christ how could they effectively witness to them and so they each had partners and they were they were good they went at it with each other um but they backed one another up in the same token um and so we just are inviting you to bring your young people out to teen talk um and young people that are here even if you're not with a parent we ask that you come we start at two o'clock um every sunday and we look forward to seeing your face and so the presentation i have because we want to honor our young people we want them to feel appreciated and supported and loved i have a young lady who's been in my class for approximately probably a month now and she is stellar she's a little shy but she's coming out of her shell she's doing exceptionally well and so i just want to honor jamia [Music] [Applause] come up she's shy y'all but we want we have a gift for her so um i guess i'll give it to you um after service but upper room if you could get up give each other a hug tell your neighbor that you love permission if you are sitting beside somebody that's a little you know little little quiet you want to move your seat right now because the word that is coming forth i'm telling you you're going to want to be sitting beside somebody who's in need of a move of god um well first of all we want to do this and we want to do it sort of expeditiously the 30-day prayer revival has been absolutely phenomenal i know the pendleton led us in prayer this whole entire week we are so grateful about what the lord is doing testimonies are coming in and we are grateful about that and then on this coming saturday we have our men's locker room which is on september 25th 2021. amen got our men's locker room and uh we are grateful about what the lord is going to do to that endeavor we start at 7 30 a.m um and we have breakfast and we we talk i'm telling you i don't want to put out there all that we talk about but you got to come if you're a man you got to come it's totally free of cost and um we have practical conversations with one another this church is built heavy on fellowship and so we do a lot of fellowshipping and we are grateful about that we are um going to be i'm giving this sort of a sneak peek announcement and we're going to have these graphics and all those things available for you on our social media pages october is the month of supernatural harvest and so what we plan to do the vision is we wanted us to bring in canned goods and when we do the canned goods we want to try to fill up the altar with canned goods for those who will be in need for thanksgiving we're going to do that for the whole month of october along with the evangelism effort uh with sister amanda and um minister ebony with the 100 turkeys and um we're going to do that amen i think we should give god praise for that and um we're excited about that uh on yesterday they're streaming uh on yesterday uh sister chernell and brother quad dear moses got married and we want to say congratulations to them amen and um we are excited about what the lord is doing i want to know if you could do me a favor could you tell somebody say neighbor say just one day this week will you meet me in 5 a.m prayer just one day this week will you meet me in 5 a.m prayer here on the altar and just one day they would say just one day just one day and um the lord is doing the supernatural then we have lastly last announcement for today and then we'll present the new member certificate and then head on into our media presentation um um holy convocation is coming up amen and that ordination is going to be september 30th 2021 consecration and then uh the going after the glory gathering is going to be on october 1 2021 kneeling prayer is going to begin at 7 pm worship is going to begin at 7 30 p.m on the dot and we are grateful about that this place is going to be full of believers and people who are going after the glory of god there is no specific attire but um you know we want to dress like we're coming to church on a friday and we're going to have an exciting time in the lord those are all the announcements that i have for today we want you to keep in prayer our mothers of the church and certainly that the lord will continue to strengthen their bodies in the name of jesus i have a word and we're going to get to that word uh swiftly i want to introduce to some present to others some of not this time glory you may be seated you may be seated you may be seated thank you minister james thank you i don't have a long word tonight but the lord has placed something in my spirit to give to my congregation this afternoon and this time i'm not taking no for an answer many of us have been in psychological battles where god blesses us uses us chooses us and we find ourselves going upward and we're so used to going downward that while we're going up we are anticipating a fall at any time we're so used to having the short end of the stick so used to having to fight our way through to push our way through that we don't understand that this season is a season where we're going to win without having to fight [Applause] this is a season where if you learn how to rest in the promises of god and watch god work on your behalf i really i really don't feel as i'm gonna have to preach long because some of you you feel it brewing up in your spirit right now that you could say i've been going through cycles of just over and over and over again i get blessed one time getting knocked down ten times blessed one time get not get a miracle but have a burden with it get a blessing but tell your neighbor say not this season not this season not this season not this season not this not this season we're all familiar with this story this passage of scripture where joshua is instructing israel to march around the wall and when they march around the seventh time that this wall would fall to the ground we're all familiar with the story of israel and the content thereof that would give us a plethora of lessons such as being obedient to god is better than disobeying god such as honoring god in your praise your worship your giving of your heart and your time is better than walking away from him all together we learned these lessons and i i really don't have time to deal but we learned these lessons even beginning starting with moses moses has a call moses anointed moses is certainly gifted and and is chosen for the assignment but moses finds himself battling some with the people some with his own self trying to figure out lord i know you called me but maybe there's a part about me that you didn't call and that part is my frustration with the weight of the assignment with the weight of who it is that moses would testify this the weight of who i'm calling to be the weight of my assignment there's some parts of me that get frustrated frustrated not just with the surrounding circumstances but gets frustrated with the fact lord you chose me but the other part of you choosing me means that i can't be me means i have to submit to the will of god holy i have to submit in ways that i never thought that i would have to submit now many of us want to be called chosen ordained anointed by god but it seems to me we only want to be anointed ordained called by god to operate in church and or behind the microphone but much of your anointing much of your call will come through your ability to pass the test the test of your flesh the test of your own will in fact jesus prayed that praise said not my will but thine will be done is there anybody in the house other than moses under them other than paul those of you that are here in 2021 that can be honest that could be real that could possibly be transparent with your neighbor and say neighbor i don't always agree with god's decisions i always agree with where he has me i'm not always comfortable can i get a witness in the house not always comfortable with with where he has me and sometimes i pray for more fast for more but sometimes i don't know what's on the other side of more and when i get to more sometimes things are unveiled in more that i wish i didn't pray for more i wish i didn't fast for more sometimes the bigger the blessing is the bigger the burden it's the bigger the responsibility it's the bigger the golder it's the bigger the the criticism it's the bigger the opinions of others but but but but but but i want to just prophesy in this that even in your moments of frustration even in your moments of not understanding god will protect you now now now now we we clap right there hey man he's going to protect me from the enemy but but but really what i wouldn't really want you to rejoice about is god will protect you from you [Music] [Applause] because there's a there's a part of you that that that really wish you could go back there's a part of you that can't get the full manifestation of what he's called you to because you got one hand in because you know what he said but you got another hand back out because to do what he said requires for you to be uncomfortable requires for you to be in a strange place to stay where you are means yeah i don't grow but it means i'm comfortable sometimes that's your worst enemy is to be comfortable tell your neighbor say get out of your comfort zone get out get out get out do prophesy with your hand say get out get out of your comfort zone get out if god told you to start the business get out of your comfort zone if god told you to go back to school get out of your comfort zone if god i'm not getting a lot of amens right there if god told you hallelujah that you were going to be a business on the bus out of your comfort zone and be okay with being in the season of i don't know cause sometimes the season of i don't know is one of the best seasons you could ever be in i don't know how god did it but god did it i don't know when he's gonna make a way but i know he's gonna make a way i don't know how he flipped my finances the way he did but thank god that he did is there anybody in the house that can praise god for i don't know blessing i don't know when it's coming i don't know how it's coming but anyway you bless me i'll be satisfied i don't care if it comes from the north the south the east the west i will bless the lord at all times and his spirit somebody cut your hand and shout i don't know but what i do know is i praise him through the season of i don't know i'll give him a hallelujah i thank you jesus open up your mouth and say thank you father for the i don't know season [Applause] right when you're in the i don't know season when you when you're in that between season when you're in that transition season it gets complicated because sometimes what's not god looks like god sometimes what is god is that what looks like god is not like god that's why you got to understand that his word is a laugh unto your feet and a light unto your path and even when what you're in doesn't look like anything you've ever seen as long as you can hear the voice of god talking to you and speaking to your spirit saying keep on pressing keep on going keep on pushing whatever you do don't look back i've got more in store for you than what you've been through in your past prophesy to your neighbor and tell them hey neighbor i got a word from the lord tell them say what's ahead of you is better than what's behind you no no no no talk to somebody else and tell them hey neighbor i got a word from my father tell them say what's ahead of you is better than what's behind you i need you to grab this prophetically in the spirit i want you to find somebody else that's got to show enough burning praise and tell them neighbor did you hear what i said tell them say god said what's ahead of you is better than what's behind you that's why you got to praise him right now don't wait till the battle is over but learn how to there it is sister man learn how to open your mouth and say thank you lord through the process thank you lord to the poor thank you lord through the depression thank you lord through the frustration i vow to please you whether i'm good or i'm bad i'm out of
