souls to you o god so that they can be saved o god set free o god healed o god deliver the god we ask you to baptize souls today in the name of jesus oh god for the remission of their sins oh god and when they come out of the water oh god we ask you a god to fill them with the holy ghost of god with the evidence of speaking in tongues oh god for god you declared in your word that we will be new our first lady [Music] we want to honor all the clergy in the respective places and the board of associate pastors and the clergy in their respective places now also because it is women's sunday i want to do something a little bit different and honor one of the women in our congregation today as you may have heard many times our pastor encourages us to greet someone that maybe you've never agreed it before hug someone that you've never hugged before or speak to someone who you may have never spoken to before and so you know a couple weeks ago i took him up on his advice and i introduced myself to a woman and i've learned how wonderful she was i've seen her in church but never was able to speak to her and that's what the particular time i did i learned of how strong she was how much of a kind heart she had i just was able to learn so much about her and since i met her she's really been on my heart and so of course normally when someone's on my heart i tend to pray for them so this woman of course she's most likely not going to expect this because she's just that humble and she's not the type of person who is loud or in everyone's face she's very quiet and so most of you may not know her either but when i was given the opportunity to present a gift to a woman in the church she was the first one that popped in my mind so i want to invite sister amanda quickly up here to receive a gift on behalf of the women relief ministry [Applause] come on over it's okay to be shy i'm shy too but thank you god bless you [Applause] okay see how sweet she is she didn't even want the lord for all our visitors that are here and we honor the lord for you and we pray that your visit is filled with love and camaraderie amongst the saints we honor the lord for our i want to say this i announced it last sunday but i want to announce it this sunday along with two of our other sons and daughters minister unique and brother bradley got married almost just a month ago and they both are in the house and we stand up please honor god for them and then that marriage spirit is hitting this house left and right [Applause] brother quander and sister chanel are getting married this saturday and we thank the lord for them and we are just so excited about what the lord is doing tell your neighbor say it's time to get married amen some of your neighbors didn't look down your way but that's all right and we thank the lord we we're so excited about marriage and um we're doing a great job uh minister stephanie has definitely um encouraged and spoken to a woman today the upper room is all about fellowship it's all about the uniting of love and us coming together to show love to one another and i believe she's doing an awesome job with our women they had women's walk and talk yesterday let's give god praise for her doing an awesome job with our women and uh amen and we're excited about that and then we're still doing our um no more girl more sessions today we were in part two of relationships and oh my god it was phenomenal i mean we were transparent we were real we were open and i believe really the lord delivered us in that session and we talked about how to forgive how to heal and how to compartmentalize um relationships and or emotions and the like and we're grateful about that we are on day 12 of the 30-day prayer revival and so many have been being blessed across the world we've got so many requests coming in and we've been staying up to date with all of them we've been laying their names on the altar and we have two testimonies so far of those who we've called out who had dire emergency needs against the legal system and for both all charges were dropped in jesus name amen amen and um then with the i uh with the relationship segment we've been doing our children's sunday school is growing phenomenally and our teachers are equipping our children to be in the world um as a christian and we're grateful about that our team talk is growing we have something for everybody and we're grateful about that uh the prayer and evangelism is every wednesday from 6 p.m to 8 p.m and they tell me so far we've reached uh 400 uh elder johnson we reached 400 souls so far to 400 let's give god praise for the 400. and we say happy birthday to her as well and then we're heading over into after this month september is october we're going to be doing a holy convocation and it's um amen and it's going to be two nights but thursday is going to be the consecration ordination that will not be streamed and so all are invited especially those of the candidates that will be getting ordained their family and friends are invited it's going to be a very sacred intimate service and we're grateful about that and then on friday night everybody is invited it's going to be an amazing time in the lord we've got pastors coming from ohio we have pastors coming from new york we've got pastors coming from here there and everywhere and people are coming it's going to be a night of healing it's going to be a night of power and we are grateful and excited about that i'm going to be speaking and the hotel information is hotel um revival baltimore the fall months and when the months our churches built on fellowship so in between the normal grow more sessions and kneeling prayer we're going to have um apple hot apple cider and pumpkin spice and all those types of things so that we can fellowship together in between the sessions and the services now i know i'm going to see a lot of people who's coming for the donuts amen but that's the trick is to get you to come and lord and behold if i was if i was if we were doing fried chicken the church would be packed amen and so last and last announcement we want to do we're getting it set up the evangelism outreach now we had a goal of 25 000 going to the evangelism efforts and we have almost superseded that and we're not even at the end of the year yet but we have sister amanda and um and elder johnson they're working on our turkey endeavor and so we're going to have 100 turkeys we're going to be giving out food um during the thanksgiving season and we're excited about that thank you jesus for your blood let's stand to give tonight and um then we will proceed into the word i don't have a long word but i know that god has given me a word for the house tonight if you're given by honor the reading of god's word second corinthians chapter 12 verse number nine thank you lord thank you lord let's stand and if you haven't said i've got the word i want you to do this particularly speaking i would quote it but i want us to read it together tonight um if we can that verse number nine i want us to read it aloud in unison um i want us to turn the value up it's just as loud as we can i want to read it with power and authority and i want us to do it together what does verse number 9 say up a room my grace is sufficient [Music] [Music] i want to preach tonight from the topic is there any more grace for me is there any more grace for me you may be seated in the presence of the lord is there any more grace for me i promise women thank you oh boy we've been trying to we've been trying to work to make sure we're getting the saints in and uh getting them out at a reasonable hour and uh i want to say the pressure is on me to preach because just about all of our associate pastors are in church today and uh they could do it probably quite better than me but i want to say this on a more serious matter and i'm going to give this and whatever happens is what happens but i want to say this that after five o'clock prayer this morning minister tyler called me and he says pastor he says um do you not know that the pandemic was actually supposed to take us out and i started dancing in the car because in order for me to hear that and in order for him to say that means that it actually failed i just want you to say this to three people say this last season was supposed to take me out no james no no [Applause] [Music] [Applause] now find somebody else and scream say but i'm still here i'm still. [Music] [Applause] [Music] glory to your name father i'm still here [Applause] lost some stuff but i'm still here [Applause] because the truth of the matter is if you really think hard enough of the millions that have passed and went on you really don't need james to push you all you need is a memory bank and while he testified while he testified like that i'm in south carolina kevin and i see that the eaton family is dealing with the fact that someone took their car and hit lady eaton yet she's standing shouting right now [Applause] don't you tell me what god won't do he has done for others [Applause] he'll do the same for you gods we were supposed to be getting ready for a funeral oh glory to my savior but god has his children covered he has his children protected he has the blood over his children and for this we say thank you somebody put a hallelujah in the atmosphere be seated please in the presence of the lord be seated in the presence of the lord be seated in the presence of the lord lord brought me to this past i know i'm not going to be able to finish it tonight the lord brought me to this passage of scripture this passage of scripture is familiar to many in that it is paul dealing with himself paul is having a conversation with god and he's asking god to remove this thorn and he asked him to remove the thorn three times and it's this thorn that we don't know what the thorn was many would say perhaps the thorn was his ability to see in that after he was knocked down off of the horse he would have trouble with his eyesight but we don't know for sure what paul's thorn was all we know is that paul indeed had a thorn now what's interesting to note is that paul's testimony is much like many of our testimonies in that he was against god he went his own way he did his own thing but god had a call upon his life what's interesting is that the call that god had upon paul's life did not begin when paul said yes to god but the call that paul had was on his life before he said yes before he gave in to god in fact it would be worded like this in scripture saul saul why do you kick against the pricks why are you kicking against me calling you me ordaining you me trying to speak to you and before paul says yes he's having a conversation with god before he receives salvation he's having a conversation with god which is much contrary to what we teach in today's time in today's church we teach that our relationship with god begins once we say yes to god but we see in scripture that really your relationship with god doesn't begin when you say yes to god many of you are sitting in the pews right now you're taught from the floor you're in sin but maybe i'll take the step to get in trouble when i say this you're in sin but you still have a relationship with god you haven't received salvation but you still have a relationship with god how can i justify this statement how can i prove that what i'm saying is right the way i can prove what i'm saying is right is before i get through the scripture if i just survey the congregation today god has been speaking to you just about all your life it didn't just start when you started speaking in tongues it didn't just start when you started quickening it didn't just start when you began to become churchy and know how churchiness goes i'm doing my hand like this for a reason because you understand how we do when we get saved that that holy ghost get in the hand and we get to could i tell you that's a learned behavior doesn't mean it's not real but it is learned but we cannot negate the fact that god has been speaking to us all along i can recall having conversations with god at the age of five six and seven eight and nine before i got saved conversations in my mind and conversations in my heart that i had with the unseen thing that we call god could i tell you tonight could i submit this to you tonight that you discredit a lot of your growth in god if you only commit your growth to after you've spoken in tongues and or after you went down in jesus name in fact a lot of what you obey now is the familiarity of what you heard then what i heard then at that time what what was spoken to my spirit then at that time is almost the compass for when i don't know where i'm going when i can't feel even when i'm in church and i'm shouting and i'm singing and i'm i'm preaching sometimes we we overshadow that with just the emotionalism but doesn't mean that we are really feeling it that that what we feel that that what we see sometimes god speaks to us in that still small voice that's there when the music has stopped that's there when the drums have stopped that's there when the organ has stopped that still small voice that you hear that you heard when you were a child that you continue to hear now i want to say this i i i want to say this to say this that paul knew god when paul was saul now saul was there at the time of stephen's crucifixion endor being modern saul was there saul saw the heavens open up saul saw jesus standing at the right hand of the father and he saw stephen say lay not this charge to the elect which means that saul's relationship and the experience with god did not just happen at the road of damascus but it happened throughout saul's sinner life god will speak to you while you're smoking weed god will speak to you while you're in the club god will speak to you while you're in that man's bed conned y'all ain't saying nothing to me because y'all want to be perfect and sophisticated and churchy but tell your neighbor say he'll speak to you while you're in sin [Applause] and you think that when he speaks to you while you're in sin he's saying come out but some of the time when you're inside he's speaking to you say i love you anyway [Music] i died for you anyway my blood was shed for you anyway i keep on loving you even though your actions show that you perhaps don't love me because i don't see you like what you're in i see my blood i see the cross i see the crucifixion now i i'm building my case but i have to make some people uncomfortable right quick because what we're taught in the church is uh you know save sanctify filled with the holy ghost fire baptized fully converted and i'm not looking to go back i hadn't been down in the name i've got the t-shirt i've got what is it i've got the cd i've got all of the proof i've got my certificate i'm all lined up i fast three times a week i'm a demon slayer [Music] don't nobody know god more than me i wake up you know sometimes saying you know the lord woke me up at two in the morning i rolled off the bed and went into intercession for the people of god but there's a part of you that is fickle i don't care if you are a child a church mother a church deacon a church elder a church bishop and or a church apostle all of our flesh thinks [Applause] and until you come into the realization that salvation is not about what you've achieved but it is about the finished works of the cross your whole salvation process will be doing things to receive brownie points you'll go on the 30-day prayer revival to receive brownie points i don't know how i've gone to church all my life i don't know how many saints i've heard say you know praise the lord uh you know i i i you know i'm on my way to prayer service you know i pray every day at five in the morning and i i pray every day at six in the morning and i i i i'm fasting hot girl how much you fasting i fast monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday saturday and sunday i pray without ceasing you know i speak in so many tongues that that but you can't get along with your brother or your sister [Applause] you don't even hardly like the person you're sitting beside right now why they so close up on me lord please don't let him say say neighbor one more time because i might not look over so if we measure salvation according to modern day black church culture we have failed miserably because we are just like the corinthian church we love to speak in tongues but we do not have love one to another when did tongues become a measurement to salvation we believe in the oneness of god power of the creation sign of redemption we believe in the infilling of the holy ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues not the initial evidence the initial evidence your ability to change your thinking if we say that times of the initial evidence praise the lord that means that you can speak without a mind change which is what we have in the church today we've got a whole bunch of people that are converted by way of tongues that are converted by way of water but not converted by way of mind let this mind be in you what about honda i dare you lay hands on your mind and say lord change my mind change my mind transform my thinking y'all ain't talking to me i don't want to think things things no more transform my mentality i want to be saved in my mental not just in the cupping of my hands or the stomping of my feet because what i'm finding out and the pandemic has proven to us is that tongues and water baptism and shouting is not enough to strengthen your faith everybody's faith has been tested everybody's trying to figure out what's going on what do we do on christ the solid rock i stand all of the ground is sinking sand tell your neighbors a neighbor on christ i stand on christ on christ tell somebody else behind you on christ i stand on christ on christ hall other crown is singing sin be seated please in the presence of lord i'm almost done and so and so and so salvation is the fullness of a mind change but but but the fullness of a mind change happens through process it is the uh what we call the testing of your faith it is it is you going through a test and passing the test it is you going through a test and learning what is on the test to apply it for the next test and i want to know is there just three people in the house that can prophesy to three people and tell them say neighbor i passed the test this season i passed it i passed it i passed it i passed it test it on every side try on every side but i'm learning how to have faith in my savior i'm learning what to do when things don't look right i'm learning how to worship him beyond what i can see i'm learning how to trust him in the midst of adversity i'm learning how to lean on the everlasting yes we sing it what a fellowship what a joy divine leaning on the other but you don't know what leaning on the everlasting army is until everything else you're leaning on is caving in you don't know tell your neighbor say you don't know you don't know you don't know when your back is up against the wall and you're between a rock and a hard place and it seems like everybody has forsaken you it's not until then when you realize that the scripture was real and lo i will be with you always even until somebody clap your hands open your mouth and say that's a promise from the lord he's going to be with me he's hallelujah to my savior and and the lord began to deal with me about this question is there any more grace for me because this thing grace is the thing that saved us in the new covenant it's the thing that makes all of this makes sense for in the old covenant god gave mercy in the old covenant god gave forgiveness but in the new covenant jesus is full of grace and truth it takes grace to deal with the saints now grace often times is referred to as forgiveness but grace is not forgiveness forgiveness is forgiveness mercy is not grace grace and mercy cannot be intertwined for mercy is the ability to forgive a thing but grace is the ability for god to live in something that is not worthy so jesus was human and human is not worthy for the magnificence of god which is why jesus was full of grace so then if we are saved and we have salvation then we are filled with grace but grace is not the license to sin grace is the humbling factor in that flesh does not deserve to house god but he infills us with his spirit anyway i want you to do a road check i want you to do a road check i want you to touch somebody down your road and ask them say neighbor i got a question for you say it a little louder in the cathedral find somebody else and say hey neighbor i got a question for you ask them a question say neighbor are you a recipient of the holy ghost yeah if you ask them that and they didn't say anything they went back to looking straight they need to be the first person down here at the altar when all to call time come but if you're sitting beside somebody that talk back to you i want you to tell them the holy ghost saved my life [Applause] it didn't just make me speak in tongues it made me change my ways yeah it didn't just make me quit habits it changed my appetite y'all ain't talking in here i thought i was at the upper room i dare you to look at somebody else and say neighbor this praise is for the holy ghost this praise is not for a house and not for a car not for a mansion but for the holy ghost but for the holy ghost but for the holy ghost but for the holy ghost if you got it say something if you got it do something if you got it like the bible says lift your hands open your mouth and say i got it i got it something about my mama about the holy ghost i can't explain it but i know i ain't got it it's like fire shut up in my bar i wish i was in the right church then i i dare you look at somebody it's like fires like fires like fire this holy ghost changes your ways but it's also a holy ghost that won't let you keep still that when you think of the goodness of jesus and i wish i had 10 people that would let the holy ghost go to work right now let it go to work put a cotman in your hand open your mouth oh my god i see you in the back i see you you didn't move you didn't clap your hand i said open your mouth do something show some sign that you're saved and you've let the redeemed of the lord say so don't you dance another time if you can't open up your mouth and say god i thank you for saving my lord thank you for saving my life thank you for redeeming me you are our father we will praise you all the days of our life somebody lift your hands with sincere worship and open your mouth and say god i praise you i pray be seated in the presence of the lord i have to hurry on here and so paul is dealing with salvation paul is dealing with what it means to be saved and then paul has understanding that he is a theologian he is studied in the word he understands the mosaic law he understands the the old culture and the hebrew culture but he says i counted it all that's done that i might know him in the power of his might and the fellowship of his suffering you don't know god if you ain't never been through nothing you don't i wish i had a witness in here you don't know god if you ain't been through hell in high water you don't tell your neighbor you don't know god if you ain't been through no you got to talk to her talk to him and say hey neighbor you don't know god if you've never been through nothing find another neighbor and say hey neighbor i'll share with you a little bit about what i've been through tell them say i've been lied on i've been talked about i've been misused i've been scandalized eat out of my hashanda and never had a chance to defend myself but find you a neighbor and say hey neighbor it was then and only then where i found out that many are the affliction of the righteous but the lord shall deliver us out of them oh i dare you to open your mouth and clap your hands for the next 10 seconds and shout my god is a deliverer say it again say my god is a deliverer say it again like the devil like you got news for the devil and say hey neighbor did you hear what i say tell them say my god is a deliverer he delivered me out of a horrible pit i dare you to find somebody that wants to preach tonight and grab hands with us and say hey neighbor tell them say i got a word from the lord tell them say god said he was my deliverer and he delivered me tell him god said you ain't preaching nobody i said find you a neighbor and look at them in the face and say hey neighbor this praise is because god delivered me if you're sitting beside somebody they ain't moving get out of your seat and find somewhere else i said look at your neighbor and say hey neighbor my conqueror delivered me that's why i got to praise him that's why i got the glory fire that's why i owe him a hallelujah open your mouth and shout glory to god [Music] paul he says it this way he said i'm a theologian he said i'm anointed by god he said i'm called by god he said i'm chosen by god he said but i wrestle in my flesh that when i would do good evil was there that that i shouldn't do i find myself doing he said there's a war in my membership there's a war in my flesh i dare you to tap yourself and say flesh you won't get the best of me i'm learning do know is i asked god to take it away three times and god said no is that my strength is made perfect in your weakness tell your neighbor my weakness i saved my life i know you think that your weaknesses is going to send you to hell but i dare you to prophesy and say my weakness keeps me praying my weakness keeps me faster my weaknesses [Music] y'all don't want me to preach tell your neighbor don't be afraid of your weaknesses don't condone it don't live in it but if you fall you've got an advocate [Music] he's faithful and joshua to cleanse your heart and to forgive you of all unrighteousness this is not for the churchy people this is not for the sophisticated but this right here is for everybody that walked through those doors that said lord am i cast away lord have you given up on me lord have you thrown in the town i want to tell you how no his grace [Music] [Music] but i hear paul what paul said he said shall we continue us in sin that god grace may abound god forbid if you want to be delivered let them deliver you if you want to be saved open your mouth and say lord it's me it's me [Music] i dare you to get out of your seat and preach the three people around you that's a neighbor i was trasher neighbor they left me neighborhood the church talked about me but i found shrimp it is weakness because when i'm weak that's when he's strong stay up for well i glory in my infirmity i gotta answer ask your one question is there any more grace for the children coming up is there any more grace for the adults that have fallen by the wayside it's not his will that any man should perish but that all would come into the knowledge of the son of god with love and kindness have i drawn thee prophesied to your neighbor and say neighbor i know what you did them and when i needed that chance scream it say and when i needed that chance they pushed me out but god brought me in hey you better run sir they push me out you better run sir you better run you you gotta let the redeemed say so i don't want you to dance just for dancing measures but i want you to dance for the grace of god that found you when it seemed like everybody else lost you when i
