quick job description here pine tree leans out over the neighbors there some of these big limbs are gonna be um extra big up there they don't look bad here but once you get up there they're kind of big so the trick will be to get them to drop down here nice drop zone but sometimes they'll pull vault and go and spring but first toward the fence we don't want that so that's all we're doing strip it out pop some logs leave the wood oh this is something i i i will mention is the proximity of the rope to the chipper is deadly so we're having that conversation right now just be careful with that make sure he knows make sure the outriggers are down the stabilizers before you chip and um don't chip anybody or my rope redundant safety talk no no not when it's important got his gloves cause he's in a pine tree i learned recently well i knew it but i learned it again recently when you're climbing a pine tree you should probably wear gloves uh yeah jeff learned recently too results yep or you get a they're like a bunch of little razor blades stuck to the tree and they're way sharper than they look when you slide your hand past them and they'll shoot these little shards up underneath your fingernails and as a matter of fact i guess it's gone now lasted forever of course it's gone now i had a big old gash from one we've got the skid steer here we've got the ax19 there that's not the extended team that's the jeff but it's just as efficient and then our new guy corey the job yesterday at the end he goes he goes for a small guy you can really move that saw around and outside is that a compliment and he's just like this little man he's just a little like good old boy guy don't let it cook [Applause] [Music] broadcasting tips into a pile here wow so youtube the view from up here you can see how if you came under like this and then went flopping back that way you'd be in the fence so most of these i'm i'm peeling them down and then i'm cutting them out a little further that way i shorten up the distance so the top hits it collapses a little bit and if it falls that way it uh it's not gonna spring into the fence i think [Applause] [Applause] wow [Applause] [Applause] [Music] ah [Music] wow [Applause] hmm [Applause] wow [Music] um [Applause] wow [Applause] hmm there goes my chain [Music] oh i dropped it yeah i'll just i'll just let somebody else [Applause] hmm [Applause] um [Applause] [Applause] [Music] hmm [Applause] i can already hear the sound of the log popping i don't think it's going to sound like dude i think it's going to sound good [Music] oh [Music] whenever they go up at a steep angle they don't peel right they come flying off so youtube i was telling damien whenever a pine limb goes up when they're going laterally they hinge well but when they're going up like this for some reason they just come flying off when you try to peel them [Music] oh and the reason i'm telling you that is because if i was peeling this it's on the opposite side of the house but that's the ones that are dangerous because they hang on and swing under and they get this like this centrifugal force and it gets whipping and then it breaks off right at the worst time which is that way i remember the first time i damaged anything like that it was power lines and they cross phased and made a big explosion and the foreman was down there and he yelled at me and then i was like but it swung over there like it was i was trying trying for it to not be my fault and then he was like you have to maintain control of the pieces you're cutting and i was like that is true yeah yeah yeah yeah you gotta accommodate or you gotta anticipate everything wind [Music] i'm loving this big transporter for some reason it's easier to hit i'm having better luck with it than i than i did the uh carat tool this is a jumbo transporter from rock exotica they sent it as a prototype for us to try out so i usually use you know the big carat tool so i've taken the big carat tool this is for saw storage and i've cut off i've took it off the gate i have taken off the gate and i have cut off uh this hooky part right there but i'm gonna try the jumbo transporter and see how i like it i like that it has this big hungry opening right here i'll probably tape this open because i don't really want to deface their brand new product by taking off the gate like that but what i like about these is they go on the harness and they literally screw down i mean they're on there so good i like that i like secure things even my spurs like look what i've done see i i didn't like the way the spur pads would wobble on the shank there so i was talking to my dad about it and he's like yeah let's bomb we riveted them on okay so barely any wobble and it's the same with this too it's not it's not a dangly attachment you know falling around it's on there this too will get on there and just be locked in position i like that so let's put that on there real quick okay that is on there so let's go climb a tree jeff runs in for a branch and you start cutting and he knows you and screws that and runs away there's certain people when they're cutting it's like if they're kind you better get the hell out of there i'm out of gas youtube i don't always pull the gas and oil up but there was just a little left and it was easier to do that than send the saw down [Applause] [Music] come on so youtube on pine it's good to snip the sides on a top so that sometimes it just hangs on and like folds all the way over and hangs up and rips you around on a big ride but if you snip the sides a little then you just have this little bit of hinge in the middle and it's good all right you guys so we are chipping this brush into a pile here but we couldn't get the angle of the chute down far enough without stacking stuff out onto the fence so what they did was in order to increase that angle downward they push the outriggers down to give it more of an angle like that it works [Music] so this is for your phone the monkey beaver harness has gear loops you know places to put things a lot of times the phone has no good place to go sometimes i put it in my uh chainsaw pants there'll be a pocket like on the leg but then it gets like hammered right there and it kind of messes with my mobility a little bit but right here this is this nice like velour velvety shammy cloth kind of comfort stuff that says i love you to the phone and then you put it even your big phone this is a iphone 11 pro max with a case and doodads and whatnots for hanging in your car or doing gopro um you know mounting the camera type stuff fits right in there has this great big velcro lid binds down tight and if your phone was smaller like let's say your phone sunk way in there this would still give it a nice warm hug all the way down because this will go clear to here if it needs to it'll just really lock it in there so nice secure thing um and also it can't be like torn off your harness here because of the way it's it's locked in there this here when it goes through that gear loop it has to go this goes through the gear loop and then it has to go down and behind this and it's it takes a little bit to get it on there even once you get it through this buckle once twice and then back through like that that thing i'm never coming off and if your harness if you don't have a monkey beaver harness and it's not hook hooked up it's not uh doesn't accommodate this type of setup which i think is ideal you could just dangle it off of this d-ring so uh check out the website monkeybeaver.com for that it's pretty cool super high quality well-built stuff you know made by us right there in the little house with their sewing machines so i mean this thing is this is not cheap this is good stuff really good stuff you could also put your blood clot you know your bud uh compress kit or something in here too to me um that's important i've cut myself in a tree before and i had to come down rain and blood uh also though this is kind of like a first aid kit a phone right you get to call 9-1-1 and you know [Music] am i finding you guys when what am i doing i'm taking the bucket back and taking the bucket home and giving us a call i guess drive it like you stole it you want to throw a wheel chock on here so youtube what i was about to say is it's super duper cool to have four-wheel drive because we backed a monster chipper down into this hole and now i'm either gonna be wrong or i'm gonna drive right out of here no problem oh turns out i'm going to drive out of here no problem so yeah super super cool i don't like that i'm leaving dirty marks on their black asphalt though so that was job number one one and done and we are headed to job number two pretty good crew size you know four guys on the ground and machines you
