The Number One Enemy To God's Favor Pt 1

come on everybody put your hands together give it Lord a big hand type of praise thank you so much possible Wow father we thank you for this another opportunity to minister to these your precious sheep thank you Lord that revelation knowledge will flow freely uninterrupted and unhindered buying a satanic or demonic force father I pray that you will speak through my vocal cords and think through my mind none of me and all of you Lord we need to hear from you tonight give us a word so we can be in preparation so that nothing that devil has planned will prosper and we give you praise for it now Jesus name we pray and everybody said amen praise God you may be seated well I hope you've enjoyed everything thus far amen do you have your Bibles go with me to the book of 2nd Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 9 2nd Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 9 and in verse 9 he says this for if the ministration of condemnation be glory much more everybody say much more much more does the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory now the ministration of condemnation is a result of operating under the law when a person operates under the law of Moses condemnation is going to be the the results and yet before the covenant of grace there were lots of glorious manifestations Red Sea opening a man out running horses and chariots there were lot's of manifestations even under the administration of condemnation but he says here that much more said again much more because I believe we're getting ready to go into a year of much more much more does the administration of righteousness exceeds in glory so this this miss ministration of righteousness once we understand that it's not righteous by what you do to be right but it is righteousness based on what Jesus did and you believe it he says from that will exceed more glory than you've ever seen before more manifestations just because you have finally settled it I am believing what has already been done now as we begin this tonight and I'm not gonna finish the night I'll do something tonight I'll do something tomorrow morning I'd do something next week but I want to make sure you get a hold of this first part today in our world today the Ministry of righteousness far exceeds the Ministry of condemnation where glory is concerned where manifestation is concerned across the whole world eyes are being enlightened to this glorious gospel of grace I mean it's being preached ladies and gentlemen it's being preached around the world and people are being enlightened the coming revival of God's abundance of grace and the coming revival of this gift of righteousness will be like nothing we have ever witnessed the ministry of righteousness is the Ministry of the Spirit who guides us into the truth that we are the sons of God like our elder brother Jesus Christ the ministry of righteousness has been designed to try to convince you and I that we are just like our elder brother Jesus Christ now the Bible says as he is come on so are we we're turning your neighbors say I'm in Christ I'm just like it see this is the thing that religion keeps fighting you Jesus wants you to accept this truth you're just like him religion keeps telling you not quite and it's gonna require faith for you to wake up one morning and finally come to the place of realizing okay God I'm in you I'm just like you as he is so are we in this world I'm just like Jesus I mean all of Hell will begin to tremble the day we recognize that we are just like Jesus the ministry of righteousness is the Ministry of the Holy Spirit trying to convince you that you're just like your elder brother Wow say it again I'm just like Jesus now when we have a revelation of that truth nothing will be impossible for us and the church will rise up to be who she is called to be you'll finally be who you're called to be because now you are walking in the right identity you are in Christ so everything that happened to Christ you are a cold person in other words when he died you died when he was resurrected you were resurrected when he was seated on the right hand of God the Father you took a seat on the right hand of God the Father this is a powerful revelation that if we get this revelation this one revelation that I as a result of being born again I've been made righteous and I've been made just like my elder brother and you know what stopped you from believing that you'll behavior and you know what else stops you from believing that religious church you just can't believe that you have passed out of darkness into the marvelous light and you're just like Jesus because you keep looking at yourself from the physical view and you don't understand that you're in Christ you're sealed in him you're one spirit with him you're just like him I guarantee the day you accept this truth that I'm just like Jesus nothing will ever be the same again you ought to be walking in this earth like you made it now I know you didn't make it but you've got to start walking around like you made it so tonight I want to talk to you about the number one enemy to God's favor the number one enemy to God's favor let's begin in Isaiah chapter 60 verses one through five the number one enemy to God's favor God wants to explode his favor on your life like you've never seen it God wants to do stuff you've never seen before praise the Lord glory be to Jesus but it starts with that one revelation said again as he is so are we in this world I'm just like Jesus oh that's radical that's rad say it again I'm just like Jesus some I said that a scripture you just you just said the scripture said again as he is so are we as he is so are we why we in this world we asked he is I want to do something even more radical turning your neighbors say hello Jesus now some of y'all looked at each other strain you ain't know Jesus see you got to understand he's trying to get you to see yourself as you are in him now look at Isaiah chapter 60 and let's read this very this is a prophetic word that was given to Israel and that word has come to pass what we are reading in this book has come to pass in this day arise now that's an interesting word it means to change your posture and change your position in other words when you arrives you you you move away from the present position you're in now he's prophetically getting ready to talk about your position in yourself changing from back to your position in Christ arise shine for the light is come and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee that's prophetic I'm gonna show you in a moment that somebody says what's the light I'm gonna show you the scripture now the book of John that says Jesus is the light so it says change your posture change your position for the light has come and how that the light has come and you've changed your posture in position and now you're in that light the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee the glory of the Lord is the manifestations of God the glory of the Lord is the manifestations of God we're about to see manifestations of God's glory like the planet has never seen before now watch this now for behold the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people have you seen that yeah but the Lord shall arise upon thee and his glory shall be seen up you oh my goodness and the Gentiles shall come to thy light and the Kings to the brightness of thy rising I see why he was prophesying to Israel because Israel was in darkness at the time and he says the solution to Israel not believing in Jesus is that the light is going to come upon the Gentiles and the Gentiles will lead them out of that situation he says in verse 4 lift up thine eyes round about and see all they gather themselves together they come to thee my son shall come from the far and my daughter shall be nursed that buy-side then thou shalt see and flow together and thy heart shall fear and be enlarged because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee there's a wealth that word forces meaning well I thought it was talking about materials before he's talking about the wealth that comes as a result of your position in Christ there's a wealth that comes as a result of being in Christ the light is the glory of Jesus now here's what I believe I've heard for 2017 2017 will be a year where God will release extravagant favors in fact he will need the service of angels who will release and minister abundant harvest of what you have been sowing and the enemy will no longer be successful at blocking your harvest yeah y'all don't hear what I'm saying there have been times in this past year and maybe in the year before that where we're harvest was on its way and that harvest didn't make it for some reason it was blocked but the angels of God have been released to minister to you who are in Christ abundant harvests in 2017 opportunities will open up for you that you had no idea would be available to you doors will open that you thought would never open for you now prophecy is a very interesting thing I can give it but you got to receive it I can't receive it for you all I can do is tell you what I understand Taff and I started already we are we are receiving on a day-to-day basis extravagant favors opportunities we've never seen the horrors that are being open angels ministered unto us abundant harvest and the devil will never again be able to stop the harvest because everything you've been sowing is going to come to you now that may not be good because it has a double edge because if you've not been sowing what you need to be sowing you gonna get that - what have you been sowing what have you been planting how often have you put off what God's been trying to get you to do and try to intelligently lecture God on his word I'll not have to preach his heart this upcoming year because heaven is about to assist me [Applause] my job is not to change you my job is to love you God's job is to change you now heard a guy say one time he says you know you really need to listen to your elders not because they're right all the time but because they have great experience a lot of experience at being wrong are you listening to me Romans chapter five and 20 says something that lets me know everything I just told you is that hand Romans chapter five and verse 20 forgive me Romans 5 and 20 he says moreover the law entered that the offence might abound that word abound means to increase the law entered the law of Moses came so that the offense might increase so that sin might increase but where sin increased now look at this past year where sin increased now when you think sin you're thinking you know you're thinking all of the big stuff but we're seeing increase and it did increase I saw racism more intense racism then then I've ever seen or even heard of I saw the spirit of division like I've never seen we're seeing increase the promise is that grace will much more increase so if I saw an increase of sin in 2016 I got to believe I got to believe that I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living I got to believe that we're going to see much more in this upcoming year where Sid increased the grace of God is about to increase unmerited favors are about to increase you're about to see an increase of an abundance of God's favor and you'll have no idea how to explain to people why it's happening to you except to say this is the Lord's doing and it's marvelous in our eyes look at John chapter 8 verse 12 I I want you to get this I want you to see this because we keep making the same mistake over and over and over and over and over again and we're expecting for these manifestations and prophecies to come to pass but we keep we keep employing the number one enemy to God's favor in God's grace I believe it's going to increase I don't want you to employ the number one enemy to that increase showing up in your life John chapter eight and 12 then spake Jesus again unto them saying I am the light of the world he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of Life so when you look at light Jesus says I am the light and if he follows with you if you if you'll follow me if you'll believe me if you'll walk with me you will never walk in darkness another day in your life now listen to me carefully now I want to break through all the symbolism Jesus is the light of the world when you got born again you got in Jesus and now in Jesus you're healed delivered righteous perfect all of these things because you're now in Jesus before you got in Jesus you were in darkness let's break through the symbolism you in that old nature you were in that sin nature when you were in that sin nature you could only produce sin but you are no longer living inside of that sin nature you are now living in the light you're now living in Christ there are benefits there's an enormous advantage that you have now that you're in Christ and enormous advantage but you don't know it someone says how do I get grace to work for me you've got to first of all realize and become aware of the things that have been made available to you and then you got to keep it on your mind you've got to become aware of what's been made available to you and then you got to keep it on your mind I'm the righteousness of God I am now aware that in Christ I am righteous and that's what stays on my mind I am now aware that in Christ I am redeemed so that's what stays on my mind and what he says is if you'll follow me he says first of all you will not walk in darkness because listen you'll be free from that jesus is the light the light here does not expose sin but rather it reveals the perfection of the blood of Jesus and taken away our sins or taken away that sin nature so you're not reading here well I'm the light of the world I came to expose sin no he says I'm the light of the world and I didn't come to expose sin but I came to reveal to you the perfection of the blood of Jesus like I'm the light of the world and I came to show you that through the blood of Jesus you are now in me does everybody follow me now you're now in me because I'm the light of the world I've taken away that sin nature I've taken away that old man you are in me the light is to show you glory to God that you will never be the same as you were when you were in the darkness in the sin nature and he's trying to show you that in Christ you are different you are righteous you are perfect now let me show you this scripture in John 12 verse 46 it's dealing with light as well while you're at John John 12:46 John 12:46 go over to God is everybody with me we are not gonna repeat the same mistake John 12:46 I guess it'll come up in a minute John 12:46 thank God I'd see that's why I keep my Bible in front of me all this technology sometimes it'll get a stop on you there we go I am come I am come alike in the world that whosoever believeth on me shall not abide in darkness what is he saying if you believe on Jesus enough to get born again and to get in Christ to get born again and to get in Christ once you're in Christ you will never be in darkness again once you're in Christ you'll never be in that old man again now listen folks we still sin but we will never be in the darkness of that sin nature you still sin but you'll never that is so that it bothers it bothers me when I'm in church and I say you still saying people get shot don't you know that you do know that don't you I don't know why you want to get sanctimonious and pious now oh no I don't yes you do see that the reason why you still sin is because you still renewing your mind and you still got that old program from that old sin nature and until you change this program you're still going to be sinning and that's why God doesn't want you to work on not sinning but believe that you're no longer in that sin nature because if you believe that you no longer have the route that produces apples if you believe you no longer have the route that produces oranges if you believe you got a different route then you'll see a different fruit I'm asking you to believe now that you're born again you're in Christ now that you're born again you're in Christ now that you're born again you're in Christ it's identity first behavior next it's not behavior first so you can be identified right it's identity first behavior next the day you got born again a miracle took place you got in Jesus and you were made perfect made righteous made holy may redeem why because you got in Jesus you were not made righteous because of something you did you were made righteous because of something he did you him you spell religion d-ohh do you spell Christianity do and II done [Applause] sometimes I can cut your head open just pour this on the inside of your head you're trying to do something that Jesus has already done and in him accomplishes everything you've been trying to do but you got to believe you in him and your identity now is based on it being in him look at first John chapter one and seven first John chapter one and seven your identity is based on being in him who I am this based on me being in him I am born again and the day I got born again I relocated myself I'm in him verse seven says but if we walk in the light how do you walk in the light who's the light Jesus so if you walk in Jesus as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin now this this word cleanses is a verb that m'p icture of it continues to cleanse in other words it's not how we walk but where we walk this is not talking about how we walk oh yeah I've got to walk good now he's talking about where we walk we walk it in Christ are you hear what I'm saying it's not it's not how you walk but where you walk religion keeps getting you to deal with how you walk and God wants you to learn about where you walk because if you can get a revelation of where you walk then it will change how you walk so it's not how we walk but where we walk and we walk in Christ say I'm in Christ so now here's the benefit of believing that you're in Christ a continuous cleansing it's a continuous cleansing saying that the blood is effective right now it's not just effective 2,000 years ago it continues to be effective glory to God it's effective right now it's forever keeping us in the light the blood of Jesus is forever keeping us in the light it is forever cleansing us here's I gotta be honest this is real radical but I'm gonna say it you go around and you do something you're not supposed to do it this how it looks do something I supposed to do cleanse just something I froze do cleanse do something not supposed to be cleanse you don't you don't care the only place you can carry what you did is in your mind but the blood continues to operate over brother dollars just sound to me like you just tell us we can do anything we want to do I'm trying to show you that if you get a revelation of who you are in Christ you're not gonna have to be concerned about doing stuff you you don't want to do that because as a new person in Christ the old things have passed away behold all things have become new you're never gonna know what I'm saying until you start believing who you are in Christ you're gonna come you're gonna continue to be religious and religion tells you you've got to always be trying to work to try to make something happen and that's the biggest enemy that's the biggest enemy to the favor of God you keep trying to do something that Jesus has already done that's the biggest enemy to you being healed it's the biggest enemy to you prospering it's the biggest enemy to you being righteous you trying to do something that Jesus has already done you know what I'm gonna do is this year I'm gonna work hard at not working i'ma work hard and not working because Jesus has already done it it's not Jesus plus me it's Jesus all by itself it's not his part in my part it's Jesus all by self and I'm gonna work hard at resting and I'm gonna work hard at not working and I'm gonna work hard at maintaining my peace because God can do some absolutely wonderful things when somebody's at peace versus when somebody's that stressed I am NOT gonna allow these extravagant favors to pass me by because when they show up they find me trying to do something that's already done and you know what that's called it's called unbelief all day long every time you find yourself working to try to be righteous it's called unbelief because you don't believe that Jesus what he did was enough to make you righteous so now religion says you got to do stuff to be righteous and that's called unbelief all day long and I'm not walking in unbelief God's been too good to me for me to be walking in unbelief I believe what he says I am pastor Ken mentioned something in back he says the Bible says to look look into the mirror of God's Word and don't walk away and forget about what you look like and the problem is if we forget about what was being preached we forget about the word we forget about the lessons you forget about the revelation that God gave you you look at it in the word while we're here together and then you go home and forget about the whole thing you know somebody can just easily talk you out of it they can just get very inspirational and all of a sudden you two forgot about what the word says you'll be sitting in here begging God to heal you and you forgot about video already healed you you'll be you'll be you'll be out there somewhere working to be righteous and you forgot about Jesus already made you righteous and what do you think happens when you continue to try to do something that's already been done how do you think God looks at that how do you it's an insult to him that he sent his son dime across did everything for you so you don't have to do nothing but believe it and receive it and you still put on your religious garments and go to work at trying to make something happen that he's already made happen you don't think that stops favor you know think that stops favorite and then you wanna you want to get it all together to think well you know what I figured it all out God too big for you to figure out I know this is radical because all religion has always taught us about the five things we got to do to get this and the seven things we got to do for God to do this and the ten things we got to do to do that I'm telling you right now it's not about what you do it's about what Jesus is already done and what I do is believe what's done I tell you when I'm will having this into your head until your hair start growing look at Colossians chapter one Colossians chapter one and verse 12 all glory to God believing what's already done see we have to be careful because if we start working for something when he made a promise then why say I'm gonna do it by promise and then you turn around and get it by work the only thing you're gonna produce when you do something by work when God said you'll get it by promise the only thing you can result so that it's just gonna be a Ishmael God said I'll give you transportation now you're gonna go out on your own and get a call on your own and what guess what you got it look prude in its clean but it's gonna break the engine gonna tell transmission ain't no good because you bought an ish meal you got to wait on the Lord you go house shopping you see the house you won't God said I got one foot you're already all ready to make this thing no you're gonna go out and try to work it out on your own and then you end up getting in that house you think it's all that pipes busting all over the place roof leak and what happened you bought a ish meal I don't want to miss meal I want to eyes it I want it by promise and not by self-effort look at what he said in Colossians chapter 1 verses 12 I'm going to read 12 through 14 now I'm gonna go slow in this giving thanks unto the father which has made us meet the word meat means Abel giving thanks to the Father which has made us able to be partakers so now the father has made us able to be partakers of what of the inheritance what inheritance the one that's due to the saints that are in light those who are in Christ have an inheritance those who are in Christ have an inheritance and if you're in Christ God has made you able to be partakers of that inheritance if you're in Christ if you're in Christ you can be a partaker of that glory and that manifestation look release it verse 13 who has delivered us from the power of darkness that set light and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear son in Christ 14 and whom we have Redemption I'm delivered already through his blood even the forgiveness of sins I got it already through his blood through his blood that's the inheritance he says in Christ you got Redemption he said in Christ you are made able to be a partaker of redemption in Christ you are made able to be a partaker or forgiveness of sins in Christ you have been made able to be a particular of righteousness to be a partaker of prosperity now that you're in Christ you can partake of things that you could not partake of while you were in yourself you tried all your life to try to get this thing together and they never did get together because God said I did it and the only way you can partake of it is being in me now look what he's saying in Colossians chapter 1 and 27 and this is the key to confirm what I believe is about to happen in 2017 this is awesome man can you imagine opportunities coming your way and you're like how why wait so you're gonna learn how to praise the Lord real quick don't be asking no questions just take it receive it receive to get something in the mail something in the mail in this is your morgue has been paid off don't be calling try to find out who did it [Music] [Applause] take that paper and file it in your filing cabinet and you praise God all the rest of the day see I'm expecting this I'm not sitting back hoping and praying that this gonna happen I am able to partake of this because I am in Christ and what seemed like it was a miracle when I was in myself in Christ it's just how to it just how it is it's the stuff that happens when you walk in Christ job opportunities where people coming and asking you to work for them and they'll say state your salary in other words tell me how much you want me to pay you I got to believe that I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living I got to believe these extravagant favors I got to believe that angels are filling this dome tonight preparing to go to work for the believer who just says I'm in Christ I believe Jesus I'm in Christ you watch what God's getting ready to do praise the Lord like I told you before you're about to walk in such favor that the unsaved world will accuse you of doing something illegal to get it now you got to be ready for persecution now if you ain't ready for persecution just forget about it cuz you you you too thin but I'm telling hangout no problem with persecution you'd say whatever you want to say if the Lord gave it to me I'm gonna keep it I know I'm gonna give him praise I'm gonna give him glory I'm gonna shout about it and I'm on the air you know look at what God has done look at Jesus hallelujah doctor said you gonna be dead in two weeks and then that that the end of that last week the doctor said I don't see it no more what happened look at Jesus everything that happens I don't want him looking at me because I didn't do nothing to do it I want them looking at Jesus I want to give him the glory I want to give him the praise I want to make him famous I want everybody know that whenever something happened to me get ready we're getting ready to brag about Jesus and if you're ready to give God glory and if you're ready to give God praise right now you don't have to wait until he does something for you you can go ahead and give him praise right now just because you believe that somebody shall I believe it I'm in Christ I'm no longer a normal man I'm no longer a normal human I'm in Christ I tell you I have an enormous advantage because I'm in Christ hallelujah you know what with some folks that don't understand you because you in this realm of the Spirit where they don't understand why are you not complaining why are you not in fear why are you not afraid why do you just keep a smile on your face because you know you in Christ hallelujah and you know even though they threatened to put you at your house you in Christ this got to be a promotion even though the doctor says you got a sickness you're gonna die you in Christ help get ready to get better you've got to believe who you are in Christ come on turn to people tell I'm in Christ all is well say thank you Jesus for the abundance of extravagant favors and remember a favor is not a favor if you had to earn it a favor is not a favor if you had to pay for it a favor is not a favor if you had to work for it I'm telling you just by simply believing that you are in Christ and no matter what happens you respond I am in Christ no matter how you feel I am in Christ and you focus on being in Christ God said I got your cover I won't take care of you I gotta prove to you glory to God that being in me is a game-changer that being in me is a difference you better yourself so long you've been in your religion so long you don't know what it's like to be in me when you're in Christ you don't sweat like a sinner sweating is an indication of self effort hallelujah when you're in Christ you walk around like you got an air-conditioned following you everywhere you go I'm in Christ I can't have it if you don't believe I don't know what to do if you don't believe I wish I did I'd be doing it to help you believe but all I know he that believeth shall not be put to shame and I tell you I believe hallelujah I don't understand why everything worked away at work I don't understand why you didn't get what you thought you were gonna get I don't understand why who died died I don't understand why you didn't get the job I don't understand why you ain't got no dad I don't understand none of that but what I do understand is that Jesus died on the cross shed his blood with the hell for me got up on the third day was seated on the right hand of God the Father Almighty and promised me he's coming back again but until he comes to get me I'm gonna be in him I'm gonna be in him and in him I can do all things I want you to believe I wish you'd believe but that's all you you got to figure that out I tell you what you'll be thinking different at the entity cuz you will reap what you sow and ain't got time to be on the wrong side I'm on the lower side what God is gonna do this year it's something similar to laughing at the devil for what he did this past you the devil always thinks he got one up on God you know God ain't no rookie yesterday this ain't his first rodeo you understand what I'm saying God seen this whole thing over again and every time the devil think he got it God shows up and does something outstanding children of Israel reach this destiny rate right at the Red Sea and there's no way out you got an army on one side coming to kill him behind the world we gonna get out now cause the Red Sea in front of us and Satan thought he had gone but your arms too short to box with God hallelujah God reaches down nanny he splits that water open hallelujah just to tell the devil yeah you don't want that it is and then he add a little icing on the cake blue and dried the ground I come on somebody I tell you that saying God that opened the Red Sea so that his children can get on the other side is about to open opportunities for you and for me so we can get on the other side and to do what we've never done before oh I need a praise in Church in this place tonight I wonder if I got anybody here that believes with me tonight that I am no longer a sinner hallelujah but I have been saved and I am in Christ at an enormous advantage over the rest of the world you are not having enormous advantage the world comes with this thing well you know the Bible out of date and that's the old fashioned oh when the world start whipping your tail you're gonna go back to old fashioned you can go so far back you're gonna find yourself then come by here [Applause] do you actually think that God's just gonna sit back and let this thing keep going like it's gone I mean it can't keep going too much father or self-destruction take place you can't click it can't keep going to for you you can only go so far God set the system up in Romans chapter 5 it can only go so far before he steps in and say that's enough that's enough and that's what I see you get ready to happen God getting ready to step in and say that's enough folks I lost a mind it's almost like we're looking for a church that don't crease no word now let's have church without the Bible we would learn to have your church but if you could stop to turn it to two minute scriptures we sure wouldn't be satisfied let's just sang and do some testifying we don't really want the truth just kind of make it sound a little religious and inspiration ain't doing that the whole church can go somewhere and I must still be saying turn to this page look at that Scripture look at that chapter turn to this pray because we were saved by this work we were saved by the incorruptible who see of the Word of God [Applause] he'd get ready to step in and he get ready to do his greatest work for those who believe those who are in Christ so when you look at men wondering why he stressed out getting got time for that no more no I got a I got to maintain my peace and while I know there'll be Nick rose from around the world to try to take my peace [Applause] excuse me I got a little got a little comfortable right there [Applause] you ain't gonna have my piece it's the only assurance I have that God can stay at work on my behalf is by maintaining my peace my most valuable asset is my peace and I'll fight for it I'll fight to stay at peace hallelujah glory to God if I gotta get a blow pop if that's got to help my peace I I will not allow the cortisol levels of my body to be impacted by somebody else's drama because if I'll maintain my peace God will take care of the drum but ain't no need of both of us getting involved in that drama he's able a men so here it is now to whom god would make known the riches of the glory of this mystery and to make it known to the Gentiles and what is that mystery among the gentiles which is christ in you the hope of glory or christ in you the earnest expectation of manifestations of being in him the earnest expectation of manifestations that come from being in him we're about to see what comes from being in him but you can't be ashamed can't be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ can't be shame you got it you got to make your mind up now how you gonna live this life because whatever you're so that's what you're gonna see change what's just someone quickly change what you're sowing you got a God of grace you got throw your self on the mercy of God look what he says in verse 28 now move into this a little bit more whom we preach warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man what we're so in Christ Jesus we are what can we be perfect outside of Jesus where's the only place we can be perfect in Christ how many of you in Christ turning your neighbor say I'm perfect I know that blows your mind because it's a it's a contradiction with I'm perfect in cries with how you been behaving but if you'll if you'll quit fighting that issue this is your identity I'm perfect in Christ the day you believe that you can see better behavior you don't send more that you're in Christ you send less because you've accepted your identity of who you are righteousness is a free gift redemption is a free gift healing is a free gift wisdom is a free gift but how you gonna receive all that when you don't even believe who you are in Christ the only thing quicker than light is darkness Amen so when light hits what happens to darkness it disappears in that right the only thing quick in the light is darkness except when light hit darkness disappears so wherever we are and where our feet trod and whomever we come in contact with we need to believe that the light within us overcomes the darkness that's in the world you got to believe just like natural light causes darkness to dispel that when you show up somewhere some don't be some don't change you got start exercising that I was driving today in traffic and there was a stalled car in front and I could sit there be quiet and just put up with it or I can use my authority I said I'm in Christ this car next to me will be inspired to let me get in front of him you already know what happened right look at that that inspiration I wish I have people with me in those times you understand because I believe that in Christ I have an enormous advantage that in Christ I am NOT like somebody that's not in Christ I don't show up the same now we're not the same the difference is the favor you and I are going to be walking in it it clearly be seen something about you as sinners gonna come and say what is it something about you that's why you got to be careful how you judge people see they realize who they are and the fruit is working kind of like a tree you plant the tree the roots getting established to the ground don't say something wrong with that tree just cause you don't see fruit instantly keep watering keep exposing yourself to the Sun or there you go water and Sun same thing with us water of God's Word beholding the Sun through God's Word and eventually you begin to bear fruit but we keep running through the same thing now let me show you two things I'm over I'm gonna talk about five more minutes and then we gonna stop and say happy new you don't care what time it is I get up in the morning we might be about 15 minutes early saying happy new year but some of y'all can stay home but I got to get up in the morning I gotta get up in the morning got over the game the mornings will happen new year alright look at Colossians chapter 1 Colossians chapter 128 and Colossians 3:3 I want to I want to leave you with this and I'll pick up with this tomorrow somebody said what about the righteousness is dependent upon who my redemption is dependent upon who so I am perfect in Christ but that perfection is dependent is the dependence on Christ now looking at Galatians chapter 33 relations chapter 33 we got to move from religion to a relationship with Jesus Christ this year we got to move from religion to a relationship with Christ and we can't forget real soon we got to live this thing man look in Galatians chapter 3 and 3 he says are you so foolish having begun in the spirit are you now made perfect by the flesh verse 4 have you suffered so many things in vain if it be yet in vain now I notice how you're going to start believing God in the spirit and then end up in the flesh what does it mean by the flesh the flesh is referring to our performance the flesh is preferring to our self efforts to be made perfect before God and try to do it with self effort that's the flesh to try to be righteous with your own performance and working hard to be righteous coming to church working in the church doing everything you know to do being nice and being good just so you can be righteous that's the flesh the flesh is you working to accomplish something that Jesus has already accomplished the flesh is your effort and your performance you know when the Bible says we're made perfect coz we're in Christ now check you out trying to do everything you can do to be made perfect it doesn't work you always end up sinning why because self-righteousness opens the door to the works of the flesh the number one enemy to God's favor is the flesh look at Romans chapter four verses one through five the flesh your performance your self effort it's that religion that says you got to do this in order for God to do that it's the religion that says come on God do something and he's already done it how you think that look if your kids kept coming in the bedroom asking you to do something you've already done momma clicks me saying mama fix me the same way the sound was fixed it's in the kitchen on the table mama fix me a sound muffin you think what ask me that one more time I wish you would ask me one more time you do God the same thing the same way you send up there approaching God in unbelief asking him to do something he's not it he's already done look at this what should we say then that Abraham our Father as pertaining to the flesh hath found that was he talking about his body no he's talking about works what is it that Abraham as pertaining to the works or his performance what is what is he found by what he could do look at verse 2 for if Abraham were justified or declared righteous by works see the question was what did he do by the flesh or by works and the answer he was talking about if Abraham was justified by works he hath we're up to glory but not before God God didn't get any glory out of what he earned verse 3 for what saith the scripture abraham believed God and what happened when he believed God it was counted unto him for righteousness verse 4 now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace but of debt he says didn't if you work for it ain't no grace involved there you need somebody not o you because you worked but look what he said in verse verse 5 but to him that worketh not to him that worketh not he who worketh not but believeth my god that's the whole thing right there on him that justifies the ungodly his faith is counted for what righteousness you know what church tells you Church keeps telling you you got to work for it you got to pray a little bit long and then wrong with praying you got a fast a little bit more ain't nothing wrong with fasting you got to be good a little bit more the biggest sin ever is for you to try to be like God in depend to God and that's something you trying to be like God when I God then then you get a hold of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and with your own efforts try to be good that's seeing all day long it's religion religion and sin is the same thing you know somebody down here they committed this big sin it was all on the news all day you know they don't have five divorces and you send out looking at the news saying well I feel better than I at least at least ain't never had that problem now you got a bigger problem you know what it's called self-righteousness who do you think you are self-righteousness you think look at where he got with all of his his effort my effort was better than his I'm up on him my effort is better it's still saying it's self-righteousness and when you deal with the kingdom and you deal with God dude it always ends up zero nothing happens is zero here is God getting ready to do something extravagant this year you know I gotta say this right here General Electric has finally come up with the material to put on our dome so that when the dome expands and closes the material now will eliminate all of the leaks for now on in that wonderful and and as soon as the new year comes we're gonna go up there and get that thing on there somebody always wonder what's going on a dome it breathes it it opens up then it closes and then some places open up if I had to build it all again I would never build a door I be a flat roof but thank God God allowed the revelation to coming to earth to get a material that expands and does things with it so you know while it's leaking just pretend like it's the Holy Spirit and say oh praise the law and my god coming at me slap that on you in the name of Jesus here's what we don't get religion has trained us in self effort and performance just think about what you were told to do when you were in church think about the 20 things you had to do before God even say it hello think about think about how condemned you were guilt is the motivation behind self effort you mess up you feel guilty now watch this watch the self effort now you got to go and do something try to fix it then you mess up again you feel shame watch the self effort now you got to go and try to do something about it but only the second time you messed up now you feel condemned and now you're stuck in a cycle that goes 20 30 and 50 years and you have no idea how to break that cycle it's because self effort has robbed you of God's favor you keep trying to do something that Jesus says I have done you know what he won't you know what he needs from you belief they should have never ate Adam and Eve should have never eaten from that tree of the knowledge of good and evil why God didn't want them to know the difference between good and evil he only wanted them to know love he never wanted them to even have to be concerned about good and evil he only wanted them to know about love the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was not even in the center of the garden you know what was in the center of the garden that word mist is a word Hebrew word translated in the center you know what was in the center of that garden it was the Tree of Life that's what he wanted to eat from the tree of life if you'll just eat from the tree of life then everything you need would be supplied you see self-effort and the law is equivalent to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil but grace and Jesus himself is equivalent to the Tree of Life you know what God wants from us let me feed you let me supply for you let me take care of everything you will ever need I want to be your supply house please don't rob from me the opportunity to care for you and you know what we keep doing robbing from him the opportunity for him to take care of us see if you can boast about anything that happens in your life I guarantee you God didn't do it self effort is involved because when Jesus has something to do with it there is no boasting so what are you prepared to do what are you gonna do this is gonna be this is gonna be interesting on your way of thinking because even after you heard this message there'll be the tendency for some of you to walk out of here and you'll get right back and self-effort let me go home and go to bed so I can get up and pray for an hour so the Lord can bless me there's nothing wrong with praying but God wants to bless you without you having to earn it why because he's good without you being good what's the key if you'll let him be good because he's good it'll change your mind about being bad we gotta change our thinking I can no longer afford we've been playing around with this for seven eight years I can no longer afford for you to keep walking out and committing the same thing that stops it all over again you and working harder Jesus has done the work he needs you to believe in this still is an issue of belief and unbelief when you work and get yourself effort involved belief when you rest and stay at peace and what's already been done believe it's easy to say I believe but there's your life demonstrate it I mean you can walk out of here and I it's nothing I can do about it you can walk out of here and just say you know what I don't even see nothing you say I don't believe that anyway you don't understand what I've gone through all yall church folks and church folks and church folks it amazes me how people who are hurting like to blame somebody else for your hurt because if you're really in Christ you will never be able to blame anybody for anything that happens to you as long as you're in Christ we got to change what we're doing you fifty years old still blaming your parents for how you at amen there are no perfect parents mm-hmm and don't you don't you take that blame game from your kids they come amuse they you did this and if you did this and you to bed man you don't know you take that say yeah I should've did all of what you just say it but whatever I didn't do God is well able to do what I didn't do and he's a much better parent than I am sorry you need to get on your face so he can fix everything I messed up but I ain't buying that so so how y'all gonna live this thing so I said you know when Jesus coming back now don't nobody know the Bible says no man knows the day of the hour and if anybody tell you Jesus coming back in the 18th or the 18th of 18 he income he's showing coming back that day he never coming back the day that somebody say he coming back when he said no man knows he mean no man knows the date or the hour so what do you do do you sit around here just wait until the world crash on you do you sit around here and just wait till the circumstances drive you crazy do you sit around here and just let sickness on your body take you to your grave do you sit around here and just hurt and be so painful that you're so in pain that you can have no relationships with nobody I want to be married do you sit around here wait for somebody to come to ask you got dog out with some of these men with broke oh Jesus help me it would do something and uh and Endor [Applause] some good women in this church waiting on a good man with a job and cries to approach to your rap ain't even got to be all that deep it can be a partial rap and they'll say yes Jr go up to him and say dinner yes you ain't even bother giving gotta be scared you can text it how you gonna live this year are you gonna stay miserable upset still mad at something for something to happen three years ago or are you gonna make your mind up since I'm in Christ I might as well enjoy life since I'm in Christ I might wake up fun I'm gonna have me some fun all right listen ain't got time to be around a bunch of dry hard to get along Christians who mad at everybody they know I'm having some fun and I'm having fun and it's the whole word irregardless what bothers you irregardless irregardless of what anybody say I'm gonna have me some fun and I advise you to have some fun I advise you to enjoy life put on what you want to wear tip your head get your weaves your wings your whatever you got if you don't have it naturally go ahead and buy it Riddick borrow it but since God is about to bring opportunities that you don't deserve savor that you've not earned since he's about to do something to you that you don't even qualify for you might as well go ahead and start the party early praise God you might as well go ahead and give him praise there's a song that says don't wait to the battle is over to shout [Applause] I said don't wait to the battle is over to Shou I said don't wait to the battle is over to shout think every now and then you got to learn how to give God off sho'nuff praise and it's not necessarily it's not necessarily because he's manifested anything right now but it's because you already in him you know what he gonna do he's gonna give you mercy and that's the bad that you deserve it ain't gonna happen and then he gonna give you grace that's what you didn't deserve he gonna let it happen so since you got some mercy and some grace you might as well mix it with a little praise and go ahead and thank God for it anyway I'm just gonna be quiet until y'all get a revelation of what I just your seat I want you to I want you to prepare it and hold it up it's it's the initiator for the year it's what I sow and I say out loud that I believe God and I trust him where this seed is concerned therefore I can trust him for whatever I need for the rest of the year if I can trust him in the area of giving and receiving then I can trust him to heal me to deliver me to set me free because jesus said that if you are faithful in that which is least then your rulers of that which as much in other words start when it's small and work your way up well in these first minutes of 2017 I have seen this happen not only for this church but I've seen it happen in my own life honoring God first the first thing honor God [Music] and when you honor God with your substance the Bible says so shall your barns be filled with plenty and your presses will what bursts out with new wine so it's not just an issue of money it's an issue of honor and we want to honor God oh you see Duff you have it read if you're giving through text if they can put that on the screen and let's release a blessing over this right now all over the place in the name of Jesus father this is our honor this is our trust this is what we decide to do to honor you at the very first part of this year and so father in the name of Jesus we don't seek the honor that comes from men we seek the honor that comes from you only and
