Rosetta is by far one of the most underrated and misunderstood characters in gr blue fantasy reink as a lot of people tend to discredit her by saying that she lacks damage or utility without fully grasping how versatile and Powerful she is and fun for that matter even I dismissed Rosetta at first not realizing what I had been missing out on until recently so in today's video I will be showcasing my endgame build guide for Rosetta as I'll be going through all of her best skills sigils Combos and overall optimizations as well as some tricks and a specific interaction that she can do to not only greatly increase her own personal damage but also the rest of the parties all so that you can get the most out of Rosetta in her build with that being said hello everyone my name is dark hero if you are enjoying these build guide videos let me know which character I should cover next thank you all so much for the support and with that let's get started since Rosetta plants or roses whichever one you prefer to call them are such a big part of our kit today we'll be doing things a little bit differently and we'll start off by talking about them you can place the rose by pressing the triangle or Y button on your controller or right click on PC you can freely aim them like this and whenever you let go you will summon the plant or you can lock onto an enemy to expedite the process like so once placed on the ground Rosetta's roses will automatically attack anything that is within their range which is indicated by this green circle as you can see any rosu plant will have a corresponding level going from one to four with each level increasing their range damage and number of hits to note that you can only have up to three roses at a time so the moment you plant a forth the oldest one will disappear don't worry though as the Roses will keep their levels when you replant them as you can see this one is going to show up as a level four Rose and these levels will actually never go down as long as you don't fall in battle but if a rose does not make contact with an enemy for a long time you see that their duration will start going down and eventually they will disappear but again all they need to do is make contact to be able to increase their duration and prevent them from despawning and as you can see you can also stack multiple roses on top of each other and that is still going to work one thing to keep in mind about planting these roses is that you can cancel this animation to more quickly be able to cast them by simply dodging them like this now Rosetta's basic attacks have her swing her blade while summoning these large routs that can hit from a pretty long range and she is able to perform a four hit combo that she can then follow up with a combo finisher to deal extra damage but you should also know that after each of these basic attacks she's able to perform a combo finisher by doing this and she's able to apply various party wide Buffs this way by doing a single attack into the combo finisher she will apply a defense buff by performing two attacks into the combo finisher she will apply a regen buff to the party and by by doing three attacks into the combo finisher Rosetta will apply an attack buff to the entire party only one of these Buffs can remain active at the same time so if you activate the attack buff but then do one attack into the combo finisher you will lose that attack buff but will now have the defense buff instead the Buffs potency scal with the highest roses level scaling in increments of five up to 20% at level four so if I were to place a couple of level one plants here I would still be able to retain the 20% defense that I get from this Rose do keep in mind that you do not need to stay within the displayed circle around the Roses to get the buff they actually have a much greater range so for the most part you'll be able to have these always active in pretty much every single boss fight one thing to note is that you can tell which buff is currently being applied by the Roses by simply looking at the circle's color so if the circle is green it means that no buff is being applied yellow means that the circle is now applying the defense buff blue is for the passive health regen and pink is for the attack buff another very important thing about Rosetta is that while performing your basic attacks you can actually spot under Rosetta's model the color corresponding to the buff that you'll get if you perform a combo finisher so when I do one attack you can see a yellow circle below Rosetta I perform the combo finisher and I get the defense buff so do keep a close eye on Rosetta at all times to be able to know which buff you're going to get from her and now let's take a look at some of Rosetta's skills before we talk about some of her Tech and optimizations the first skill that I'm going to be showing you is Rose Tycoon which is one of the most important skills in Rosetta's Arsenal by performing the skilled Rosetta will move all of her currently planted roses towards the Target and she will also poison them the poison damage will equate to 65,000 damage or 1.5% of the enemy's Max HP depending on whichever one is the lowest but even if Rose Tycoon did not apply the poison it would still be an invaluable skill for Rosetta as it is going to allow her to quickly reposition all of our plants without having to press the triangle button over and over again do not use this skill just for the damage I try to always save the cool down for whenever the boss moves around so I can reposition all of my plants and also keep in mind that if you don't have a single roast planted yet using Rose Tycoon will plant one at the Target although it's not a good idea to do it like this the next skill is going to be bouquet which will plant all three roses in front of Rosetta at once and these plants will also heal our allies as well as cleanse them of any debuffs do note that whenever using the skill bouquet Rosetta will automatically level up all of other plants by one even if they are not within reach of a single Enemy being able to heal your allies and cleanse their debuffs can be a pretty useful tool and since you can combine this with the ability to give your allies a defense buff you can make Rosetta a very powerful support character but personally I don't like healing skills very much in this game so I wouldn't recommend you going with this then the next skill is going to be silage which is quite simply a very fast way for Rosetta to quickly get out of any dangerous situation while still planting a rose wherever she was it's not a terrible skill but with you having so many defensive options and as you'll be seeing Rosetta kind of needs to be using specific skills spending one of them in a simple Dodge that also plants a rose doesn't feel like a worthwhile investment the next skill is going to be Rose barrier which upon using you'll make it so that you will apply 40% damage cut to all of your allies and again don't be fooled by the range indicator you can actually go pretty far and still maintain the buff the damage reduction is going to go from 10 to 40% according to the highest plant level so you'll want to make sure that you already have a level four Rose to get the most out of Rose barrier it's a very nice utility skill to have for sure and combining this with her 20% defense bonus is going to make your party much more survivable and you'll have a much easier time with pretty much any content in the game G and next up is the skill Mesmerize which is quite simply going to make it so that your roses will be taunting the enemies so that the enemies will Target them instead of yourself or your allies and as with most of Rosetta's skills if you don't have a rose already plant it whenever you use this she will actually plant a rose whenever she uses it I don't like this skill particularly a whole lot I personally never find much of a reason to have someone tank over the party and with how many defensive options you have in this game I really feel like there is no need for that if I just wanted to have an easier time in a quest I would much rather go with rose barrier to provide the damage cut and combine it with the passive defense bonus from the Roses to make everything a little bit easier the next skill is going to be spiral Rose this is going to be Rosetta's main damaging tool as it is going to spawn Vines from each of your roses as well as Rosetta herself hitting the enemies multiple times allowing her to quickly level up her roses if needed while also dealing significant amounts of damage especially if she is next to the Target it has a very short cool down of only 40 seconds just five more than Rose Tycoon so you'll want to use this as much as possible whenever it is of cooldown unless you plan on combining it with the following skill Iron Maiden which is going to Grant Rosetta the Stout heart buff which is going to make her uninterruptible as well as the Iron Maiden buff making it so that all of Rosetta's basic attacks will cause her roses to automatically attack that being said as it turns out this skill doesn't actually just affect Rosetta's basic attacks but it applies to every single attack coming from Rosetta meaning that you can actually combine this with the previous skills Spyro Rose which produces 10 attacks that come from Rosetta's body resulting in one of the most satisfying combos in the entire game as each three of your plants will be attacking 10 times for every single one of your spiral Rose hits basically as long as you are within range you'll be hitting for a total of 70 times within the very short time span of using spiral roads you will get a lot of damage output from this combination as you can see the damage outputs absolutely skyrockets whenever I use spiral Rose it's a bit difficult to demonstrate here whenever I'm playing solo but this combination is going to be especially powerful during link time as you'll be able to use spiral Rose multiple times to deal even more damage and of course is going to be a lot better if you're not by yourself and you're able to use spiral Rose three or four times I do want to give a huge shout out to a guide maker I deeply respect andl for bringing this Rosetta combo to light I've been watching him since the Xenoblade 2 video so I was very happy when he started uploading realing content if you're looking for some quality videos I'd advise you to also check him out and maybe tell him that you come from my video as for Rosetta's final skill lost love is quite simply going to explode all of of the Roses that have been planted dealing a lot of damage and the roses that explode are going to be replanted keep in mind that the damage of the explosion is going to scale with the level of each of the Roses so of course ideally you would want to have all three of your roses at level four before you use lost love to deal as much damage as possible one very neat thing about lost love is that for example if you have the defense buff active and you go ahead and you use it to explode these roses the roses that are going to be replanted are still going to have the defense buff active so you don't have to worry about having to do the combo finisher to reapply it it will be there on its own just keep in mind that you will momentarily lose the buff as the plants are going to be regrowing so your ideal plan with rosette is going to be to try to plant all three of your plants as fast as possible go ahead and use your iron maiden and pop these spiral Rose to deal as much damage as possible and if the target doesn't move go ahead and use your lost love to deal as much much damage as possible and of course go ahead and use your basic Combos and apply the corresponding combo finisher to get the buff that you want in most cases I will want to go with the defense above since as you'll see with my build I'm able to hit the damage cap consistently but if you or your allies are not able to hit the damage cap then it might be a better idea to go ahead and apply the attack buff and of course whenever the boss moves around make sure that you use rose Tycoon and go ahead and use the spiral Rose even though we don't have spiral Maiden because the Maiden cool down is just that long and you want to go ahead and use spiral Rose as much as possible and to combat try to make sure that you always move your plants around to be able to accompany the boss's movement to deal as much damage as possible and now let's take a look at my optimized end game build for Rosetta and my preferred sigils as for your weapon you'll always want to go with the terminous weapon to get the most damage output but of course you'll need to get lucky to be able to have this but the critical hit rate weapon is still going to be a nice alternative now as for your over masteries you will want to make sure that you gain skill damage cap up and attack damage cap up as much as possible ideally you would have these two both at 20% as well as critical hit rate at 20% though that is going to be hard and if you can you should also try to get some attack power up because while with my build we can easily hit the damage cap on most of our kits we won't quite be able to hit the damage cap on the sky bone art as well as a couple of Rosetta combo finishers so having that extra attack is going to help in the long run although alternatively you could go ahead and use the pink combo finisher to provide an attack buff so that you would be able to more easily hit those damage caps before we take a look at my preferred sigils for Rosetta I do want to talk about her skills as I said before Rose Tycoon spiral Rose and Iron Maiden are pretty much going to be mandatory for her build as these three skills are what's going to allow Rosetta to deal as much damage as possible that being said I would say that this final slot is a bit of a failler and my two recommendations would be to go with rose barrier if you want to make your team a little bit more survivable or whenever I'm playing solo I will always go with rose barrier alternatively lost love is going to be a very powerful damaging option but of course you won't have the benefit of the damage cut granted by Rose barrier now as for Rosetta sigils roses blooming is pretty much going to be mandatory because it is going to reduce the attack interval of your Roses by 30% which is going to greatly increase her damage output and since Rosetta is already a character that doesn't have the highest damage output in the game having to manage her roses all the time making sure that they attack as often as possible is going to be essential for you to deal as much damage as possible that being said the second Rosetta SLE roses profusion is not as needed in my opinion as it is only going to boost the effect of the Buffs granted by your roses whenever you perform the combo finishers so effectively only one of these benefits is going to be active any single time time with the sigil granting a 10% increase to the attack and defense bonus and a 2% increase to the health regen amount gaining just a little bit more defense from being able to increase your passive defense buff just a little bit more with the sigil feels like it would be a nice addition I'm not even taking the attack buff or the regen into account here since most of the time you're going to be damage GED and frankly the regen is not going to be that big of a deal in the end game so there is a very good argument for not using this sigil right here in my personal case I actually do like using it because I actually got lucky and I do have damage cap on my sigil as well which as you will see allows me to only run three damage cap sigils but I could totally remove this one and go with four damage caps instead and speaking of which as you can see I am running three more damage cap sigils this one comes with quick cooldown which I am not quite able to max out but I am able to reach level 30 and it's going to be fantastic to be able to have my Iron Maiden buff as active as possible this damage cap comes with improved Dodge I like improved Dodge a lot as it's going to boost my Dodge count from 3 to 7 while also increasing my eye frames on the Dodge and those eye frames are actually going to be very important in a moment and the final damage cap I am running with potion hoarder because it is a skill that I value a lot being able to increase the number of potions that I have allows me to spend all of my blue potions on increasing the linkage while still having a lot of potions to be able to sustain myself additionally I am running a couple of tyranny sigils this one comes with quick cooldown which is why I am able to hit quick cool down level 30 and of course tyranny is going to raise my attack by lowering my Max HP but because I also have ages on this tyranny I'm able to offset the max HP reduction while still retaining the attack buff and actually going above the initial HP that I would have all the while staying below 45,000 HP to still take advantage of catastrophe from the terminal weapon now as you can see I am only running a single supplementary damage sigil on my build which is actually quite nice since these are so rare supplementary damage as I've explained many times before is essentially just going to add an extra instance of damage which is going to deal 20% of The Originals damage that being said it seems as though that supplementary damage does not proc from the attacks from the Roses so it's not a worthwhile investment for you to spend your slots to add even more supplementary damage sigils so in this case I'm running a single one which is going to grant me a 42% chance to trigger this on all of my other attacks which is still a nice damage increase and I am able to use the rest of my slots for various different things I have a critical hit rate 5 sigil with stamina which is of course going to boost my critical hit rate to 96% which would potentially be 100% if I had better luck with the over masteries and the stamina buff is just going to be a nice bonus to my attack to be able to hit the damage cap and of course I am running War Elemental one of the best sigils in the entire game as it's going to make it so that all of my attacks are going to have have an elemental advantage against the enemies which is essentially going to boost my damage by 20% and this actually goes above the damage cap so it is by far one of the best ways for you to deal more damage in this game now my last two sigils are a bit of an odd case and you might disagree with my decision here you see I am running link together with Nimble Onslaught which is going to make it so that I'll be able to boost the gain of my link gauge a lot faster while also increasing the damage of Link attacks skybound arts and chain bursts it's a very nice quality of life sigil that is always going to be useful but it also comes with Nimble Onslaught which is very important the reason for that being that on my other signature schedule roses blooming I also have Nimble Onslaught the idea here is that I can get Nimble Onslaught maxed out which is going to extend my invincibility period by 3 seconds so when you combine that with improved Dodge not only are you able to dodge a lot more easily but you will be invulnerable after doing so for six entire seconds and with Rosetta being a character that is so focused on trying to move her plants around to make sure that the Roses always stay close up to the boss ideally you would want to use your Dodge cancel to summon them as fast as possible so having improved Dodge and Nimble Onslaught are going to be more beneficial there additionally because Rosetta thanks to her plants and the Iron Maiden combo hits the enemy so many times she will be able to fill up her skybound art gauge very fast and when Nimble Onslaught she will be able to do it even faster and so a lot of times in the end game if you have a fully maxed out team you actually don't get to use the skybound art unless you're doing Proto Bahamut but with this build I find that I can very easily do it a lot more often and without taking a longer time on my runs or dropping my damage output and at the same time each time that I dodge an attack I will also further reduce my skill cool down by 5% so even though I don't have quick cool down maxed out I do believe that it is going to make up for it in the end and my final sigil is glass Cannon a somewhat controversial sigil that is going to to raise your attack and your damage cap by 30% each with the downside that whenever you get hit you will be inflicted with Dizzy you could remove one of these sigils and go with potent greens to be able to cancel out the Dizzy from glass Cannon but personally I do believe that you have a rather safe setup with Rosetta here especially if you apply the defense buff combo finisher and by having Nimble Onslaught and improv Dodge and Rosetta just having so much range as well I find it actually pretty easy to be able to stay out of dangerous way with Rosetta rosette is by far one of the most misunderstood characters in this game which is why I really wanted to take my time with this guide to try to make it as best as possible while also conveying the preferred play style to get the most out of her let me know if you learned something useful here and which character should I cover next with that being said thank you all so much for watching my name is dark hero and as always happy Hunting
