The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring | First Time Watching! | Movie REACTION!

hi everyone welcome back to the channel I'm Shandra that's Jordan thanks for joining us for the Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring so I've never seen this movie Jordan has seen this movie he's been wanting to show me for a while um but I was like a three-hour movie no I'm good so I just it's it's like hard to justify 3 hours I don't know I I'm probably wrong I'm probably wrong but um we're going to do it and actually excited because I've been getting more into fantasy lately so yeah watching um Game of Thrones and then also playing D and D which I feel I feel prepared you know and for Lord of the Rings also I have seen memes you know I have been on the internet I'm excited to finally like put it all together and you know see the stuff oh and I read The Hobbit long time ago so I remember a few little things from The Hobbit which might play yeah they they uh make us read it up here in Canada in school yeah I think like sixth grade or something you read The Hobbit it's so long ago but I remember some you know some small things so that could potentially be fun if it plays into this at all uh get this show on the road let's do it uh first remember to like And subscribe if you began with the forging of the great Rings three were given to the elves seven to the dwarf Lords nine Rings were gifted to the race of men the dark lord Sauron forged in secret a Master Ring oh my my God this is so freaking cool and into this ring he poured his cruelty his malice and his will to dominate all life one ring to rule them all oh my God it's the L last Alliance of men and elves marched against the armies of Mordor they fought for the freedom of Middle Earth victory was near but the power of the Ring could not be undone oh that's die the the guy that they just showed holy crap when all hope had faded isor took up his father's sword already defeated this movie just really kicks off right away the ring passed to isor and the ring of power has a will of its own I thought they defeated all the evil things they defeated the head evil guy and for two and a half thousand Thousand Years the ring passed out of all knowledge until when chance came it ens snared a new Bearer oh my God so many lines I've like heard before his little eyes 500 years it poisoned his mind and in the Gloom of gollum's cave it waited I remember in The Hobbit Bilbo met with him in like a a cavey area but something happened then the ring did not inent it was picked up by the most unlikely creature imaginable The Hobbit yeah I remember he like had a riddle and stuff too this looks so peaceful and amazing mhm you're late a wizard is never late nor is he early he arrives precisely when he means to it's wonderful to see you Gand oh my God your uncle Bilbo's birth I love that there's so much of Bilbo in this [Applause] mhm oh my God I want to live here yeah the show looks so amazing so they build all this like can we go there I think so I think it's all practical sets how is the old Rascal here it's going to be a party of special magnificent he's got the whole place in an uproar oh well that should please him before you came along we aines were very well thought of never had any Adventures or did anything unexpected if you're referring to the incident with the dragon oh my God whatever you did you've been officially labeled a disturber of the Peace oh no they don't like [Music] him oh my God he's the best I'm glad you're back so dear boy I can't believe how much like he looks like a halfling like in D and D like how did they do that the special effects for this movie are like Second To None yeah I'm already blown away we don't want any more visitors and what about very old friends Bill dear come on come in welcome oh my God he's giant I've got a few bottles of the old wyard left what we open one just tea thank you oh oh my God this is a nightmare for him oh that's so cool all right you don't want to find I want to see mountains again and then find somewhere quiet where I can finish my book Roo suspect something of course he does he's a bin not some blockheaded Ray girdle from hard bottle he'd probably come with me if I asked him I think in his heart fro is still in love with the sh the woods and Fields who wouldn't be I need a holiday and I don't expect I should return in fact I mean not to so serious what is he planning finest weed in the house oh my God mag fireworks oh my God that cake mhm you this looks like the most fun party possible oh yeah Mercy three monstrous TRS and they were all arguing amongst themselves about how they were going to cook us whether they should sit on us one by one squash us jelly the sun's first light crept over the top of the trees and turned them all to Stone oh my God I love this okay that's my favorite one you know the big one done outside this was your [Laughter] [Music] idea oh [Music] god let's get another one I might have known my dear baggies and buffing Cs and Brandy bus rubs are those their names I regret to announce this is the end I bid you all a very fond farewell goodbye huh that seems like the worst way to leave everybody but it is the most dramatic yes I don't remember that from the book I guess I don't remember everything like the The Hobbit book I think you should leave the ring behind I don't feel like parting with it it's mine I found it it came to me oh my precious precious oh it's corrupting him I think you've had that ring quite long enough you want it for yourself do not take me for some conjurer of cheap tricks I am not trying to rob you trying to help you well that was really intimidating oh my God Did It Go the ring must go to froo ring is still in your pocket I was like heavy I thought up an ending for my book and he lived happily ever after and I'm sure you will my dear friend goodbye Gand I still want to know where he's going like on another adventure or you said he wanted to see mountains yeah that can't be good my precious in the dark oh I just left it there seem like a bad idea to touch it he's gone hasn't he he talked for so long about leaving I didn't think he'd really do it God did it corrupt him immediately he's gone to stay with the elves the ring is yours put it somewhere out of sight keep it secret keep it safe I love how this this is all shot like he really feels so tall and giant oh no how did he know he had it he won it off him or he stole it off him I forget exactly okay but okay I couldn't remember that exactly but yeah Gollum and Bilbo did interact right [Music] okay oh cool like an old library one ring it shall be an Alum of my kingdom it is precious to me H that's cool throw up in h who so creepy mhm hold out your hand FR it's quite cool what can you see there were markings it's some form of Elish it says one ring to bring them all and in the darkness oh he get Shivers the way he said that he is such amazing casting for Gandalf the ring has awoken it's heard its Master's Call Sauron was destroyed oh I don't like that the spirit of Sauron endured his life force is bound to the ring and the ring survived s like has returned so evil that his Evil Soul he must never find it no one knows it's here do they there is one other who knew that Bilbo had the ring I looked everywhere for the creature Gollum but the enemy found him first I don't know how long they tortur that's awful take it take it through me it would wield a power too great and terrible to imagine but it cannot stay in the sh no it can't must I do oh he's so brave can cut across country easily enough Hobbits really are amazing creatures you can learn all that there is to know about their ways in a month and yet after a hundred years they can still surprise you a it's so sweet on it old Sam wise Gangi cut of the grass under the window there if you follow me a little late for trimming the vers yeah what did you hear that is I heard a good deal about a ring and a dark lord and something about the end of the world so everything never put it on for the Agents of the Dark Lord will be drawn to its power the ring is trying to get back to its Master it wants to be found it feels so [Music] alive I want to go on this adventure this looks so nice get some bread and cheese also just being able to go on want to venture whenever you want sounds nice this is it if I take one more step it'll be the farthest away from home I've ever been remember what bildo used to say it's a dangerous business fro going out your door every shot in this movie is so beautiful even the scary ones so the ring of power has been found all these long years it was in the under my very nose Your Love Of the halflings Leaf has clearly slowed your mind harsh he is gathering all evil to him very soon he will have summoned an army great enough to launch an assault upon Middle Earth I have seen it papania is a dangerous tool Salon this s is amazing sauron's forces are already moving nine have left Minas Mor disguised as Riders In Black oh my God he knows everything they will find the ring and kill the one who carries it oh no you did not seriously that a hobbit could contend with the will of sa there are none who can against the power of mortal there can be no Victory she a bad guy we must join with him gam I think the seeing Stone corrupted him maybe not Gand oh my God I did not think there would be a wizard battle who gave you the ch s aiding me willingly but you have elected way of pain oh my God this is wild that was shot so cool there's so much of this Trilogy I'm so excited for you to see fro I thought I'd lost you Sam we're still in the sh what could possibly happen get off he's like his bodyguard you've been in the farmer maggot's [Laughter] crop those look like really good veggies it's only a couple of carrots and some C and and definitely heard second breakfast before what about 11's lunching afternoon tea dinner supper they eat like 10 times a day saon lord of the earth build me an army worthy of more oh so he's like working with the evil guy what orders from M my Lord oh so these are like goblins I think they're Orcs trees are strong my lord rip them all down a such a nice Forest oh poor hand off this was the the dwarves they hide in their mountains seeking riches they care nothing for the Troubles of others like classic dwarves it is in men we misplace Our Hope men are weak it is because of men the ring survives I was there 3,000 years ago all right I was there the day the strength of men failed oh that would be so frustrating mhm I led is Sor Into the Heart of Mount Duke the one place that could be destroyed cast it into the fire no this it'd be worth it to just throw him in with the ring there's no strength left in the world of men the scattered divided leaderless there is one who could unite the one who could reclaim the Throne of Gondor you turned from that path a long time ago shots of n probably shouldn't be handling it s's hand no more than a broken AR didn't even put it back why do you fear the past you are a sealed or there not a seal door himself same blood flows in my veins oh he kind of looks like him the way she speaks the like Elven language is so beautiful it really feels like an actual language said you'd bind yourself to me forsaken The Immortal Life I choose a mortal life cannot give me this it is mine to give to whom I will like my heart a it's so sweet a lot of the shots with her feel like a dream Middle Earth stands upon the brink of Destruction none can escape it you will unite or you will fall bring forth the ring fro I love how it's like so heavy every time it's put down why not use this ring one ring answers to Sauron alone it has no other master and what would a ranger know of this matter he is Aragon son of arthon this is isu's Heir and heir to the throne of Gondor so his King Gondor has no King Gondor needs no King H I don't know about that you have only one choice the ring must be destroyed what are we waiting [Applause] for oh my God it must be taken deep into Mordor one of you must do this I feel like maybe an elf would have the best chance of not getting like corrupted the ring must be destroyed and I suppose you think you're the one to do it I will be dead before I see the ring in the hand someone else poor froto he's just suffering I will take it oh no you just feel his heartbreak through fro though I do not know the way oh my God I love him you have my sword and you have my bow and my ax okay I've definitely heard that before this is indeed the will of the council and Gondor will see it done Mr Frodo's not going anywhere without me it is hardly possible to separate to you even when he is summoned to a secret [Laughter] Council oh my God they're all so sneaky you need people of Intelligence on this sort of mission well that rules you out yeah exactly nine companions you shall be the Fellowship of the Ring right where are we going oh my God my old sword sting yeah take it take it yeah it sting glows when it sees goblins made by the elves are blade glows blue when Orcs are close oh okay me thrill let me see you put it on oh my God I feel bad for him but that was freaky yeah first time I saw that scared the [ __ ] out of me I'm sorry you must carry this but I'm sorry for everything [Music] bbo that was the roughest goodbye yet mhm is that the first time they dropped this music have we heard it yet H I don't know it's really good I love how different all the characters are good very good move your feet good thanks anyone wants to ask for my opinion which I know they not we could pass through the there oh I love this like can D and D you always read about like the the caves and stuff and like the mines but to see it I have no memory of this place that's no good I'm hungry always hungry there's something down there it's G he's been following for three days oh well it's a Pity Bilbo didn't kill him when he had the chance do not be too eager to deal out death and judgment even the very wise can see all ends my heart tells me that Gollum has some part to play yet he's so wise I wish the ring had never come to me so do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us wow he's so good that way the great realm and dwarf city of DW oh wow that's amazing it really feels like such a massive place here lies Bary Lord of Mor he is dead then there's no one left they have taken the bridge we have barred the gates GR shakes DRS in the Deep that's so scary oh no oh he's a bit of a fool isn't he fool of a to oh what a terrible feeling mhm Orcs oh they're so close they have a cave [Music] troll oh I can't believe how Brave they are that must be the cave troll oh like protecting him [Music] oh I love how oh my God that was so epic yeah oh my God I can't believe we fought it off that was so good I've totally heard that line go help him you [Music] fools oh my God Legas get them out give them a moment for pity's sake yeah I would just give up so Gand off they say that a great sorceress lives in these WS an elf Witch of terrible power sounds kind of cool all who look upon her will never seen again here's one dwarf she won't in snare so easily the ears of a fox the dwarf breathes so loud we could have shot him in the dark these ones are pilous we should go back oh wow oh that's amazing oh I love how it's lit up mhm they seem good like they'd be helpful not like a evil sorcerer where is gandal for I much desire to speak with him oh my god I've so heard that before yes I have played taking the Hobbits to Eisen card for you welcome froo of the sh one who has seen me die okay I don't know that was pretty creepy I lament for gandal what do they say about him I have not the heart to tell you for me the grief is still too near my father is a noble man he looks to me to make things right and I I would do it one day our paths will lead us there and the tower guard shall take up the call the Lords of Gondor have returned I guess he's kind of like the king then if the other guy doesn't like be king his dad is the steward so like yeah even the way she walks down those stairs is is like so magical his feet are so fuzzy will you look into the mirror what will I see even the wisest cannot tell she never blinks she feels freaky some things that have not yet come to pass so it's kind of like that eye thingy that the Wizards used oh the sh oh my God it so intense and she's just like standing there it is what will come to pass if you should fail Fellowship is breaking he will try to take the ring one by one it will destroy them all that's awful I will give you the one ring you offer it to me freely such a bad idea in place of a dark lord you would have a queen treess is the SE holy [ __ ] All Shall love me oh my God don't give her the ring I passed the test I cannot do this alone if you do not find a way no one will even the smallest person can change the course of the future okay so she's nice that was very like back and forth she's nice just super intense yeah they were elves once taken by the dark dark powers are ruined and terrible for life now perfected by fighting ook high oh I didn't know that's what Orcs were I absolutely can't believe their makeup and costumes like this is just incredible you will taste man flesh they eat people one of the halflings carries something of Great Value kill the others they already had so many things trying to kill them like they need more I give you the light of Arend our most beloved star may it be a light for you in Dark Places I love that this is like D and D when you get like your special items in a quest I could listen to the sound of them paddling through water all day Orcs are a lot bigger and scarier than goblins I think it's they're urai oh they're a crossbreed of Orcs And Go oh my God how do you build that got to use magic right I guess the dwarfs built morio without magic so oh I really like their little leaf thingies holding on their capes we approach more door from the north possible Labyrinth of razor sharp rocks I suggest you take some rest and recover your strength Master dwarf recover he's so like grumbly and Gruff all the time where's Roto he probably shouldn't just like wander off alone being like the most important person none of us should wander alone oh my God you suffer I see it day by day there are other ways for Odo if you would but lend me the ring no whoa they will find you you will take the ring and you will beg for death before the end oh my God that is not okay should give it to me no oh jeez the the elf witch warned him oh my God take it off that is a pretty far fall where is the ring stay away I swore to protect you can you protect me from yourself a he's the best look after the others especially Sam so he's going to try to do the rest on his own that's so many oh my God he's such a good fighter I'm the whoa that voice is something else mhm yay oh oh fro hide here quick he's leaving oh that would be so hard run fro go hey over here this way oh my God I love them so [Music] much yeah redeem yourself holy so fast the of [Music] Gondor oh that would lead everyone to them oh no oh those are so [Music] hard-hitting oh no oh come on freaking kill him oh my God that was so good oh oh yes so deserved I tried to take the ring from him I have failed you all you fought bravely I swear to you you I will not let the White City fall nor our people fail our people oh my God my king oh he really came around I think he was always good yeah no he was he was good I liked him all you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you get off words like still guiding him Mr bro I'm going to Mordor alone and I'm coming with you you can't swim oh my God Sam he's so dedicated that was such a beautiful shot I made a promise Mr froo don't you leave him Sam gchi and I don't mean to oh my God Sam is the best adventure partner ever Frodo's fate is no longer in our hands we will not abandon Mar and Pippen to torment and death yay got to go save them let us hunt some or now they're mad Sam I'm glad you're with me yeah doing this completely alone would be awful man Sam is just the best every he's so brave and every time froto is like trying to do his own thing or whatever Sam is like right there it's amazing just gets me in the heart you know gets me in the feels well he made a promise to Gandalf I know wow I like I am just blown away I I want to watch that again right now and I feel like I would see like I could just sit and stare at that movie it was so beautiful yeah like we said at the top I've seen it before a few times but even this time I caught things that i' had never noticed before yeah and it's uh it's sort of endlessly rewatchable I totally believe that and so much happened like that was a full-on like I know I keep saying this but it's just like D and D that was a full D and D campaign it had everything that I've always like wanted to see because your imagination is great but like actually seeing like a movie of it like the minds of Moria the like the caves and everything like that I've like you know like I've pictured it but actually seeing it was so cool and just having like the Wizards like the Wizards like Gandalf and the other guy actually like they didn't feel like silly or anything in a world where they like didn't belong or something they felt like Wizards and were like super cool and badass and did wizardy things and like totally fit yeah I loved like you called it out when it was happening but the uh when San was like channeling the storm against the them on the mountain yeah with his voice yeah it was so cool yeah yeah that there was so many moments like that where that like they felt so powerful like there was so many things that felt like like really heavy like the ring always feels very heavy when like anyone like is looking at it or it gets dropped or things like that and like the sounds of everything like it's all so meaningful like everything they got put into making this movie felt like really thought out yeah it was a there's tremendous amount of care and thought behind like literally every shot even if it's just a few seconds yeah oh and I I loved all of the callbacks to The Hobbit like I don't remember everything about the book but the things that I do remember I totally spotted like Sting coming like that's awesome and sting actually glowing like I remembered that oh yeah and just having Bilbo and like seeing him again and them referencing when he was like telling the story about like oh and then there was a dragon and and like the trolls and stuff like oh so good yeah I never caught that the until you pointed it out that they actually came camp where the trolls are turned to stone yeah yeah there's like I think three just like giant trolls like that was so good like that's what I mean like every shot like they didn't talk about the trolls or anything they were just there for you to like see if you happen to catch it mhm it just feels like a very ancient like Earth you know not Earth but wherever an ancient you know area yeah totally absolutely and like how the elves were all shot like the um the rivendale and the other place in the forest with the other elves felt like just so magical like I don't know how they did that just the like the lighting and everything and then when you see the elves how it's almost got this like glamour effect sort of thing like shiny and sparkly like I loved that it just and the way they talk it like it felt amazing like I was being pulled into a different world and the good news is there's still two more I know I know I'm so excited I like I can't I just can't believe it I'm so happy thank you everyone so much for voting for us to watch this movie that just like checked off every single box for me for like what I would have hoped a fantasy movie could be like and if
