yes yes we watch episode one a few days ago and been waiting literally because like we were filming other things because we've done this once a week but like both of us rewind to watch it but then the last time when we when we filmed we thought let's play the last test and they were like if you watch it now we won't be able to watch the next episode for like 10 days 10 days at least not even more maybe so I made the executive decision not to watch it then yeah so we're watching it now yeah but I'm very excited about it yeah me too honestly the first episode was just amazing honestly it was really good everything I I honestly think I'm gonna endure this show like it has everything that I like it has all the producers yeah so it has everything and it seems like it's very well executed at least from the first episode I mean people seem to be satisfied with it and it has a good rating yeah that's like this is always a good thing you know yes especially when just like the premise of it is something that's like up our alley yeah you know so like it's up our alley and it's like well executed so like what is there not to like exactly I was talking to my friends the other day and uh I like I managed to her they were watching this and like she's you know watching it as it comes out whatever but like she said to me that the virus that it's like whatever the virus is the fungi uh whatever it's based on like exists and it's like it controls the brains of like Grasshoppers and like some other small animals I [ __ ] knew it I [ __ ] knew it grasshoppers hate them that is if I'm terrified of one thing in my [ __ ] life spiders fine snakes sure grasshoppers I cannot I will scream I will die uh so I knew it I always had a bad feeling about them I mean I don't know that's true that's what she told me she started biology so like you know she should know this she studied biology but like also I don't know what she knows this because or like someone said it and it's a lie I couldn't tell you she thought you didn't check the information no I didn't but I'm like I'm just closing and I'm not sure and you also think it's a very quite possible because yeah grasshoppers are sketchy oh yeah I believe that I believe that and she said like there's you know there's there could be a possibility of like that evolving yeah and it was like great great hopefully I die before that and you know if I leave any kids in this world whatever so sorry guys what can I tell you it was my intention anyways where we're leaving okay her name is Ali I look my brain doesn't work I don't know my friend does not work sure no it's funny now it's funny but yeah I mean because you fought so hard for her name because like I in what for whatever reason my mind I thought like I'm sure there's more people there but I thought everyone there knew each other knew each other's names I was like why wouldn't they know her like why would she have a fake name because like she's from there they know her how many people could it possibly be in Boston but I guess there are a lot well no but like that's like Boston people like different [ __ ] Austin Texas you know what I mean like or was it Dallas Austin I think it was so like I'm like I was like assuming people gathered there I like thought like maybe there's a thousand people like a small [ __ ] Village do you think that that's how many people have were killed well no no I'm nothing that's how many of them are the entire planet I'm just like saying no they're not reply but like Boston was it has millions of people in it you know well yeah I don't know how like how they come here from Austin Texas yeah yeah but like people from Boston want somewhere else no I mean like it's I don't know maybe I I thought like many others came there I mean they're like very possible like I don't I feel like they're maybe let's say to me like different spread all over the country I I would assume that there's like maybe a number of like bases like what happened I don't think like like it's Federal I'd say it's Federal just for Boston I think it's just uh just like I would assume so because yeah is anything exactly I thought I thought Pedro happened after the in that part of yeah yeah the us so I don't think in La there is I I when these post-apocalyptic shows started happening I was like wondering what's happening with our country it's completely dead like are we all [ __ ] I don't know I don't think we would fare well necessarily I know you would be on on your um on your Mountain that would be Montenegro I would not have been certainly how would I get to Montenegro that's the question but I'll be there if I could where we left off I was talking about ali AKA Veronica I was like I did think Veronica doesn't suit her but anyways her name is Ali we know that she is immune well she her blood has evolved she's immune to this and now we are trying to take her to some place where the fireflies are gonna like take over and whatever and then an exchange give Joe and Tess Joe not Joe what's his name Josh nice it's not Josh Joe Joel I'm gonna get them like the truck and whatever the battery for the truck so they can go for his brother now none of that is gonna happen because like Joe and Ellie are like the main two and are not separated so like they're gonna keep together but yes they're going there I don't know what's gonna be happening now we're outside I don't know what's outside like in Boston let's say they were dealing with their government they call it government and like the rebels now we're gonna see I guess what the outside world looks like which is I don't know I honestly really expect similar things like that yeah honestly everybody is trying to say their own and everybody is right now there is 20 years in future so everybody is able to kill everybody you know yeah so like we passed that learning learning period and now we're here but like this is not I feel like and walking that they really had it easy like these are like they were burial moving you know what I mean these things run I don't think so they run an attack yeah that's true but like they again in The Walking Dead you find out the worst parts are people well sure I think that's gonna be true here as well I'm just like saying in the specific terms of like the zombies then they managed to Kill Them All to kill many of them so we're walking down oh sure sure but like still especially because like they've run like that so like they buy they they bit them and like they constantly hit the other bites their bites and then they woke up remember season one season two they woke up they'll be happening here as well just like comparing those two shows in the terms of like the zombies or the infected or whatever walking that had so much easier it's just the Running part it's just the Running part and the Running part is a big deal for me that's where we are very excited to watch the second episode let's play the episode the Boston store oh this is where it came from right American Indonesia 2003 yeah yeah September 24th I wonder who who's like patient zero like man sorry who's the first one infected what do they do to be starring on a tour of a guest starring got Gallery Rock gonna rewatch French just because of this should have been the main one so sad honestly if anybody didn't watch French to watch it now I'm gonna reward no one doesn't mean too What a Sad episode I'll never can't even say a great one I will never forgive them for anators what was saying about killing thus honest I look sure sure she's the type of character dies like all the posters and everything is just Joe and Nelly like and the three of them have come out together I get it I get it really but like episode two I don't know maybe it's better maybe it's better to kill it before I get too attached too much to touch because I was yeah I was able to say I don't know if it's better just because I would like to see more of Anna so like you know three episodes at least more but I expected to even honestly I didn't expect it to last for like I say five or six episodes I thought she was gonna either die I don't know why I was hoping forget for the separation I just thought like because then he's definitely not gonna die yes because I got no preparation because like we know the two of them and like donkey London so like separate yeah exactly and honestly I thought like they wouldn't just like kill every single person that he knows yeah yeah but I don't think he was gonna kill her like shoot her in the head or something before she turns because like I thought that like to show us that you have to even even if you love somebody you know that like for them it's better to die than to live like that you know yeah yeah but like she had to go she had to like distract and I mean yeah let's give them time yeah I mean let's start from the beginning I think the episode opened up like so well it started off with how the the infection started in Indonesia yeah uh and we went to a professor at first thought like when they went to the woman I thought like is she the first one that's like like infected or something like your house maybe someone in her household somehow got infected so like they're Gathering her up as well but like she was a professor uh I mean the second they said that she was a professor yeah yeah like it makes sense and microbiology yeah so she like went and saw what she [ __ ] saw um and they said that the woman worked in a factory she got bitten and then she bit other people and they shot those other people who were bitten but like couldn't they don't know who bit her first so like God knows where they went how many other people they infected but I think the problem was that they worked in a flower factory and like flower gets distributed all across the world that's bad like I first thought just [ __ ] ground airplanes close borders do maybe something but like the distribution would have been um the the main problem because I guess if you ingest it that's like you get the I mean when I read this happened two days before are at the beginning in Texas in oh two days two days before so like it was already happening yeah it could have come from the uh bite yeah yeah we already got they already got in that infected in Texas yeah and probably that's how the lady the woman the old woman got impacted as well yeah because of the cookies yeah with raisins oh what I like about it is that everything seems like really realistic like what could have happened like this all seems very plausible and like God knows how many diseases we're about to like unleash just because the planet keeps getting warmer and warmer yeah like you know it's it's a real concern that that exists and in this case it was uh the fungi or whatever and it was it to a point so bad that the woman the the scientist the doctor you know said to bomb no honestly I love that oh my God uh because you're way too and they talk to her and they are hoping for some kind of that she's gonna tell them something there is a possibility for a vaccine for anything to for this to be stopped yeah and like you can see the tear in her face in her face and her arms immediately start because you know how bad it is she didn't even say like what I thought first like maybe close the borders first whatever she said like that's it there's nothing else I make sense if she said there is like she studied that and like we're all gonna die from this so like I mean they did they just bombed but like it is not succeeding most of them that's what anatore said yeah that like it did succeed in Boston but like nothing like God knows like if they didn't you know they didn't drop anything whatever no one would exist yeah I think immediately like you know it's like they did have especially because I don't think immediately they knew how it was spread yeah and like you would they would even if they didn't get uh killed by a bite or like something like that and they would look for food yeah and they could immediately get oh well I need to uh I keep getting freaked out by bodies on the floor I I guess just because like I'm in The Walking Dead mindset of when like if the even if they died like they're gonna [ __ ] rise up again because they're zombies but like uh how it seems like in this it's just because like they are infected by this virus but like if you're dead the virus has nothing to like latch on to so it's not like they're gonna wake up like you need a live body to infect because like I kept looking at the guys on the floor being like what if he suddenly jumps up like if you shoot him in the no sure but like let's say if you shoot him in the heart and he stops living like uh in The Walking Dead you have to shoot the [ __ ] head yeah yeah but like here if they're dead they're dead like them even if they're infected if they die before like it takes over they're not gonna suddenly wake up like that's just what I kept thinking throughout the the episode but like it's not that it's not like that they need to be alive because like it's a virus that infects you I I find that very interesting like and they are sort of drawn by uh the sound because the fungi are connected and so like if you stop oh my God that's the security because Joel uh at the end just stepped on or no he shot the guy or something like that no he stopped on something yeah he stepped on um I think he shot the guy and he was connected with because like when he fell oh his hands are glitching and then the other guys yeah they thought like he just uh like stepped on it when he was around whatever like and then because like he uh once hand started uh moving and then he'll go to the other hand and then his hands are moving that he immediately know and then we had a scene where like 50 of them just like get up like those are the ones that we saw from up above yeah they were like lying all of them until like they felt that and just it's like it's not like they're like looking waiting for someone to eat like zombies they're just like it's like a virus wanting to spread itself yeah and they're just like going to spread wherever they can um and so what a terrifying concept but I really I really like it it seems as realistic as you can get yeah you know like I don't necessarily expect whatever that face is or something like that but they they look [ __ ] awful [ __ ] there like it looks like when they were in the museum it looked like someone screamed at them or whatever like oh God they looked [ __ ] awful really they are just so dangerous like it's really God why do they make the clicking sound what is the clicking I don't know it everything is just disgusting how does a clicking come in then yeah it was just it's just not pleasant they are really disgusting but I loved everything in this episode I loved I really got to uh like Ali I think she's really funny and interesting and brave I just like gratitude yeah me too but like that's what I like I like that she's the way she is and I like the troll is the way he he is I like that he's so beaten by this role and without fate and here she comes the one person that could maybe potentially save them you know and so he sort of like I think the way that he lives his life which is like you know it's understandable he sort of loves it you know kind of just to survive doesn't want to get attached to people I mean even Tess said like something along the lines and that he never felt for her watching she said that yeah she basically said honestly boy uh how dare you could not relate to you any less you know the audacity yeah but like you know it makes sense it makes sense like after losing his daughter he never allowed himself to feel care and love for anyone and I think he lost the most important thing exactly and I think he's really trying and not to feel for the things that he has to do like he doesn't want to talk about it but I I think it does affect him of course he does the fact that you can see that he does the fact I mean that's why he can't pass as well she said like we're not good people but like I don't think I think I don't I don't think they are happy about it you know what I mean like I think I think it hurts them very much and I think it hurts him very much but it's just the way it is and it's been like that for 20 years and after 20 years you just keep doing it you know yes especially when you have no hope for any future so like what really is there to like let's say be good people for like they're not in my eyes I mean I don't know what they do whatever they don't seem like terrible people or whatever they just seem like people who are surviving this type of environment you know yeah and I mean they are doing things for themselves yeah whatever make them in my opinion but like again like it's different in this type of world yeah well you know we have to look at it differently but what I really like the contrast between the two of them in this episode between Tess and Joel uh in regards to Ellie is that Tess was really uh actually holding on to some type of Hope like she really wanted to believe that Ellie was not going to get infected whereas Joel was just thinking look it's a matter of time which again shows the difference between their characters like I don't know what tests like went through who she lost or whatever but like she was able to feel yeah clearly like she was able to feel let's say love towards Joel whereas he I'm sure she he cared really very much about her but like not to I don't think he allowed himself to care yeah to like love her let's say and and so like it makes sense that she was the one that wanted to be hopeful and she told him like let's just oh God what words did she use but something along lines like let's just have hope for once yeah you know and and I like that she had that basically allow ourselves yeah feel hope yes and I like that she had that approach because Joel could not and in this way because she died she she kind of put that on him even even if you didn't want to do it and like he doesn't he's just walking through life just moving because he has to he didn't want to do it but now he kind of has to do it because like that's what she asked exactly like she said save who you can save and like I think he couldn't save his daughter but I think he's gonna hold on to that especially because she said it just before he she died you know yeah and she sacrificed I mean she already was beaten but at that moment she sacrificed herself to save them as well yeah and uh I I mean I honestly think even before that because we had a scene where he talks to that talks to alien then uh glancs and he at his watch I think even before that I think he I don't think he would just leave her or something like that you know yeah but like I think now there is no chance for something like that yeah now he's gonna give his all uh to save her and maybe the rest as well yeah I just I think like that's you know the Test's death is gonna serve that purpose for him to like even though he doesn't want to do this he doesn't I think he believes that there is a cure he seems very hopeless you know which is very understandable in type of world you you live in like he said like we heard this countless at times like you even know he at some point even had hope whatever but but he really doesn't believe it but now he has to do it he has to bring her to I don't know the names I think they said Frank and someone else someone else's place whatever and like figure out where to go from there but now they're stuck like now this gives them I mean Joel now this gives a draw an opportunity to along many many episodes God knows how long grow to love and care for rally yeah yeah and again it's it makes it much more harder and emotional because he lost a daughter who was very close in age with Ellie you know I'm sure there are maybe some aspects of value that remind him of her you know like Ali is really talking back and his daughter always seemed like to be on top of things and like very mature uh so I just think it's it's really like it's a I just think it's gonna be so beautiful yeah honestly I just think that relationship and seeing Joel being able to like care and open up after losing what he lost it's just like I love those storylines like I really I really get emotional about those toy lines at the end yeah yeah honestly I think I'm gonna adore their language yeah I mean I'm sure that it comes with it it's gonna be the main one it's gonna be like the main focus yeah it's gonna be literally my favorite thing I mean I really really love their Dynamic when they were whenever they were talking I just it's so funny like Ellie is so funny and Joel is having none of it honestly a test was like entertaining it's test like she liked her whatever and like yeah I didn't even want to leave her yeah that was that was so sweet I mean I definitely think we're gonna I don't know how depends on how many seasons we get in this show you know I don't know yeah it's the game like is it over that like function like you have 10 well I don't know I haven't just like one game like one story like I honestly don't know or like is there like part two part three you know like I don't know you know how like there is Grand Theft Auto San Diego Grand Theft Auto yeah I don't know how games work I'm like it comes out every year the the next part of the game I mean honestly I don't know I honestly have no idea I don't because like this is like can you win the game can you finish the game when you when you have what yeah interesting like you just need to go through levels yeah and like then you finish the game yeah but like maybe there's continuation like let's say the game what is going to be a company well no no let's say the first part of the game is Joe and Nelly need to get to where they can get the Cure another game is very popular and so the second part is you know they they like come up with second part where they have to just think they have to make the Cure but like or something like when you play the game are you draw are you with them what is happening when you play the game how do you follow their story when you play the game maybe you can choose who you are like who you're playing or you're playing controller what if you die well then you have to restart the game they have to survive the game you know like I guess you restarted it I don't know I've never played a game that's like has that type of like a story yeah like like they just like what you're playing the game and instantly pause the game you have dialogue I actually have no idea how this is yeah I mean I think because like I remember like read text or is it just like something that you can read before you start playing the game and like that's what the show is basically this is very interesting because like I have seen the pictures let's say on TV time now like seeing where tests dies not dies but like says something to draw and then the scene from the game when test test says something just like it's like animated well she's literally the same yeah it looks very similar okay okay so just like let's say you pass the level and then you get the scene or whatever maybe like if they get to a pla to like her wound and then Tess's wound like Tessa's wound let's say they were made in like the span of 10 minutes each but like hers really already was red and spreading and Ellie's was nothing yeah there was scratch and after that it already disappeared yeah like it was really when they looked at it the next time so just like clearly there is yeah clearly she has some type of immunity like her
