happen tonight [Music] come and live with us i want us to ask that as a church family come live with us live with us trust us with your presence here in jesus name oh man i want you not out of repetition but because of the glory of our great king i want you to lift a praise that's costly and seal everything we just agreed on come on do that would you oh hallelujah thank you lord who is like know the days of worship being a precursor to a better moment called a sermon are over there's more worship in heaven than preaching isn't that the truth i'm just so grateful for their their offering i love you guys i don't know how people can dance that long and amy just she got possessed by the lord and i'm glad i backed off let's grab a seat quickly we're in for a very wonderful night how many of you are happy tonight [Applause] tonight you're going to have to determine to stay in your sin i'm serious you're going to have to actually make a choice in these next 10 minutes to stay a slave the lord is in the room and i'm not preaching a distant jesus tonight i'm preaching a jesus who is closer than the air we're breathing now wonderful holy spirit i thank you in advance for saving people thank you for saving children lord again we i am not preaching a jesus who is so distant he is enthroned above the highest heaven the scripture said but jesus said in matthew 18 20 if two or three would gather in my name i am there even in the midst of you so for a moment i would like you to ponder that amazing truth that jesus himself is in the room how close is he even in the midst of us he's closer to the than the person to your right to your left he's closer than the air you breathe and so over the next few minutes i'm not going to ask you to make a choice between your life and christianity i'm going to ask you to make a choice between your life and jesus himself i'm going to ask you to make a choice between your sin and jesus himself not my sermon not what i'm talking about i'm not preaching a system right now i'm preaching a person to you who is in the room he is right here among us and i i want you to hear of his wonderful heart in luke 19 verse 1. the scripture says jesus entered and passed through jericho and now behold there was a man named zacchaeus this is luke 19. who was chief tax collector and he was rich and he sought to see who jesus was but he could not see because of the crowd for he was of short stature so he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him for he was going to pass that way and when jesus came to the place he looked up and saw him and said to him zacchaeus make haste and come down for today i must stay at your house what a heart jesus has jesus was not afraid to stay at a chief tax collector's house who was a chief traitor so he made haste and came down and received him joyfully but when they saw it they all complained saying he has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner then zacchaeus stood and said to the lord look lord i give half of my goods to the poor and if i've taken anything from anyone by false accusation i'll restore it fourfold that's called restitution and repentance by the way verse 9 and jesus said to him today today salvation has come to this house because he also is the son of abraham listen carefully now for the son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost friends it is jesus has made it quite simple to determine whether or not you belong to him it's very simple have you been completely transformed by jesus himself are you free from sin is the lord the life in your veins is he actually living his life through you jesus said he who sins is a slave to sin a lifestyle of sin is not natural to somebody who's born again it's not natural and this is why you hear this every week this is why jesus does not change our life when we're saved he replaces our life that's way better it's way better a changed michael is still hell-bound unimproved michael is still hell-bound because god is perfect but the lord does something much more beautiful this cross the reason this is up here every week is to remind us of the glorious sacrifice the blood of jesus that poured down this cross and to those who come to him in faith they die with him and they're buried with him and they're raised with him so what i'm not asking you tonight is if your life has gotten a little better since you filled out a decision card there's nothing wrong with decision cards we use them but the scripture doesn't say for god so loved the world he sent a decision card it doesn't many come to altars but they never meet jesus altars don't save only jesus saves you say man i prayed the prayer prayers don't save either only jesus saves you say i read the gospel track there wasn't a gospel track in the manger you have to come to the person simeon said when he held baby jesus this is what he said as he's holding the person he said my eyes have seen your salvation salvation is not a system salvation is not a 12-step process salvation is not a method salvation is a person salvation has eyes of fire that's why he said at the tomb of lazarus i am the resurrection and the life he's saying i'm not just going to raise you i'm going to keep you alive as your life i'll raise you and sustain you there's no one like jesus and i want to tell you unequivocally tonight that you don't have to leave the same you do not have to leave the same if you believe that you have to be bound your entire christian life friends with all the love of my heart i'm telling you you believed a lie from the pit of hell a great man once said if i have to wait until i'm dead to be free from sin then death is my savior and jesus is not jesus destroys chains it's what he does he can set you free tonight his presence is real he is here in the room tomorrow is not promised you say are you begging me to come to jesus i am begging you to come to jesus there is no one like him children listen to me listen to me if you're here tonight and you can understand what i'm saying in just a moment i'm going to ask you to come give your life to jesus and i want you to look your mom and dad in the eye and say mom i want to go give my life to the lord hallelujah with every head about an eye closed you say michael i really want to give my life to the lord i really want to yield my life i want jesus to live through me i want to be free from sin i want to know what it's like to be forgiven and truly truly be free i want you to lift your hand right now you say that's well thank you god i'd like all of us to stand many many people are giving their lives to the lord listen i'd like all of us to stand and this is what i want you to do if you brought someone tonight that you think may need the lord i want you to look them in the eye right now as their friend you brought them here for this moment i want you to look them in the eye and do the work of an evangelist and say look do you need to get down there i'll take you if you raised your hand or you wish you did i want you to come down to the altar right now and spread out as you come come on come down come down thank you lord thank you jesus come come come come give your life to the lord thank you father come on come give your life to jesus thank you lord children children if you want to give your life to jesus tonight tonight is your night to come yield your life to the lord himself look at these little children look at this little girl come sweetie come come come come come oh come on give the lord praise come come to the lord come ma'am come come give your life to jesus oh all of heaven is rejoicing all of heaven is rejoicing [Applause] all of heaven is rejoicing still coming little children oh touch our children touch our children come give your life to the lord hallelujah oh i said hallelujah you can't pray on earth as it is in heaven and not rejoice when people give their life to the lord come on look at these children [Applause] i love it when the holy spirit beats us to the punch is this your boy is this your boy amy it's your boy joe your daughter wow amy's on our staff thank you father for all of you came forward i'd like us in our seats to remain standing in honor of what's going on right now for those of you who came forward would you look me in the eye and you won't interrupt me at any point guys if you feel like you need to get down here just come they're still coming look at the young people i i'd like you if you came forward or you're coming forward just to look into my eyes for a moment tonight everything changes everything changes tonight you say what's different about tonight as you're coming to him and the scripture teaches us that if we come to him he'll by no means cast us away he doesn't know how he has come to seek and save that which was lost and so in a moment we are going to pray proud of you joshi monica you want to come down here with it come on yeah you can come too gracie family's just giving their hearts to jesus sorry tonight the game changer is you're coming to the lord himself and the best you can and that's all he's asking for you're going to hand your life over and when you do he's going to receive your life and give you his own life and everything will change and we call that being born again or born from above but jesus made a statement he said before a man builds a tower he should count the cost for if he begins building it without counting the cost and doesn't finish it it brings shame so you ask what is the lord expecting of you he wants your whole life are you all willing to give him your whole life okay are you all willing to turn from this world in its ways from your own sin do you renounce the devil himself and turn to the lord jesus christ okay i want us to pray out loud i'd like all of us to pray in agreement i'd like you in your seats to stretch your hands i'd like our team to just surround them in faith and we're going to pray this out loud as a family are you ready say this heavenly father i come to you tonight having sinned against you forgive my sin wash me in the blood of jesus cleanse my soul jesus i believe that you died on the cross and shed your blood to wash away my sin and jesus i believe that you were buried and raised from the dead you are god almighty the son of god and jesus i believe that you have ascended to the right hand of the father and that you are coming back again to rule and reign as king of kings and lord of lords and so tonight lord jesus i give you my life receive my life i repent of my sin and i turn to you and you alone all my trust is in you jesus come into my heart and be my all in all you are the lord of my life in jesus name i am born again amen give the lord [Applause] now before you go before you go you can be seated in your seats before you go those of you up front a few things i want you to do so that you can live a victorious christian life listen carefully number one spend time with the lord every day what do you think the word every day means in greek every day every day it's very simple jesus said go into a room and close the door for your father who dwells in secret listen he'll he lives there your father who dwells in secret will reward you in the open you go into the secret place and he'll begin to reward you with himself in the open we call that abiding in the lord number two read your bible every day how often should i read my bible all right read your bible every day if you don't have a bible we will get you a bible number three we want to make sure you're baptized in water and ben and i are really good at that you might want to bring a snorkel if ben if ben is involved no but it's very important listen you go into the waters it is not mere tradition nowhere in the scriptures does the word teach anything in the new covenant is mere tradition it cannot be if the holy spirit's involved so the holy spirit literally severs you from this age and the world and you come out of those waters in newness of life number four you need to give your life to a people in the presence of god that is called church we would love for you to come here if god doesn't lead you here find a church that does two things number one believes the whole bible as bill says even the maps i love that the whole bible believes it preaches it and lives it and number two find a church that loves the presence of god because the presence of god is god it's very important we understand that all right lastly lastly go to jesus as your baptizer and the holy spirit in fire and ask for the promise of the father which is the outpouring of the spirit upon you so that other people can come to know jesus just like you did tonight god wants to use you to do exactly what i did tonight it may look different and sound different but god wants to reveal jesus through you amen all right lift your hands to heaven i want to pray a blessing over you father in jesus name bless them keep them i thank you that they'll never know a day away from you that they will burn with holy fire and they will turn this world upside down with the power of the holy spirit use these children to even provoke their parents to go deeper in the lord in jesus name amen john reed would you stand up please john reed you can stand if you've so i hope i can get through offering but let's go to first chronicles 21 22 and i'm going to be reading from the new living translation but you know when we give jesus our offering we give them our best right and it's costly but man it's so beautiful so this was after king david he took a census and and god was angry at him for disobeying and a plague came and so david said to arana let me buy this threshing floor from you at its full price then i will build an altar to the lord there so that it will stop the plague take it my lord the king and use it as you wish arana said to david i will give the oxen for the burnt offering and the threshing boards for the woods to build a fire on the altar and the wheat for the grain offering i will give it all to you but king dave replied no i insist on buying it for the full price i will not take what is yours and give it to the lord i will not present burnt offerings that have cost me nothing see it cost you everything to give jesus your best and the thing i was reading my bible about a year ago and and this is just something to to meditate on in second chronicles 3 1 we read that where that altar was i just want to read it to you real quick because i think god is so amazing and into every little detail it says so solomon began to build the temple of the lord in jerusalem where the lord had appeared to david his father the temple was built on the threshing floor of iran think of that where the temple was built this is where david so where you sacrifice and give obedience to the lord that's where god can use your life isn't it beautiful and we want to give him everything we have yesterday i got the honor of throwing my little sister a baby shower and yes it's so yes she's the baby of the family and she had she's having the baby's having a baby it's amazing but not only did i help pay for it but i wanted to honor her and love her well so i got the house ready i got everything ready for her i gave my best you understand because i love her so much and that's what we have to do to the lord we can't just tip the lord and just give him our money because we have to we have to do it out of love for jesus because he's given us everything he's given us his life and that's what i want to invite you to do tonight just give him your everything when you give don't do it because you have to do it because you get to and you love him isn't he worthy of all of that yeah so i just want to invite you tonight let's just pray real quick is that okay lord i just thank you holy spirit i thank you right now that you just begin to speak to our hearts jesus i thank you god that you will just just tell us what it is you want us to do jesus but lord i ask that we will become so radical so generous so full of faith jesus lord that we will be a generous jesus people in jesus mighty name so we thank you father for all you're going to do you know as we teach here a tithe is a tenth but the bible says you have robbed me in tithes and offerings because we have to give everything to jesus so this is this if this is your church then i invite you to tithe if you're visiting you need to tithe to your local church but i the lord sends bill in very pivotal moments if the send or one of our jesus events or he's here tonight and we just started sunday mornings i feel like the lord sent him right on time and i want us to issues [Applause] wow i don't know about you i feel like i've been to church yeah man i'm not sure what's left to do we haven't raised any dead people yet but other than that i'm pretty sure everything else has been covered so great to to be here so good to be with you guys love you so much so so glad we get to do life together on different coasts but it's close enough close enough and i'm glad you guys are here i'm glad we get to spend an evening together this will be interesting yes it will jesus can walk on water i can walk on cucumbers cucumbers are 96 water therefore i'm 96 like jesus that's so dumb it is it's just it's just dumb but that's what i do i have a third grade sense of humor god promised men that good obedient wives would be found in all corners of the world then he made the earth round and he laughed and he laughed i wish mosquitoes sucked fat instead of blood amen to that one i spent 75 percent of my childhood grounded this quarantine is cake i love this one my mom always told me i wouldn't amount to anything lying on the sofa and yet here i am saving the world all right a man and his wife and his mother-in-law went on vacation to the holy land while they were there the mother-in-law passed away the undertaker told them you can have her shipped home for five thousand dollars or you can bury her here in the holy land for a hundred and fifty dollars the man thought about it he told him he'd just soon have her shipped home the undertaker asked why why would you spend five thousand dollars to ship her home when it would be wonderful to have her buried here in the holy land for only 150 dollars the man replied a man died here two thousand years ago he was buried here three days later he rose from the dead i just can't take that chance [Applause] it's it's just wrong it's just wrong i have more coming to mind i'm trying to show self-control it's not working very good but it's it's uh it's it's coming you have the beginnings of the makings of jesus people movement here if you've read anything about uh what happened back in the late 60s early to middle 70s it was really quite extraordinary because you could walk to a group of young people and say peanut butter and half of them would get saved i mean it was just there was such honestly such an anointing for bringing people into the kingdom it was a very unusual season it was a grace that was upon the whole land and sometimes you don't know the moment you're in till it's gone and then you look back and you analyze it the moment you're in is wonderful we like it but we don't always know how unique how powerful how glorious that moment is until it's not there anymore and i don't say that in any kind of a threatening or scary way it's just that's reality you as as a young person i i remember my yes to god it was it was all in i didn't care if i ever owned anything i didn't care i didn't care about anything except my yes to jesus that was it and uh i i remember uh the saturday night where where i just i just said i was all in i had heard the preaching of our family friend mario marillo for years and i would i would go to anything he was doing and and just get rocked but just be resistant and i remember that saturday night by myself just saying yes and there's never been a millisecond of reconsideration because once you die you die there's there's something about there's something about being all in you know you're supposed to count the cost before you get all in but once you're all in you no longer count the cost because you have nothing left that's your own account it's it's it's not up for renegotiation i i didn't say let's renew this contract every five years it was it was just it was yes yes what does that look like it seems to change season by season but i i didn't sign a contract that was filled out i signed the bottom of a blank page and he's been filling it out ever since but that's what happens when you have a lord when you have a king when you have a master yes he's father yes he's the lover of my soul he has all those things but he scares me just be really honest he he does he he makes me nervous in all the right ways he invites me close and i don't get it i don't get it but you can't say no i could i could never earn it i could never jump through enough hoops i don't i don't know enough to jump through the right hoops i i remember for me the things that just terrified me in life juan was talking in front of people i remember taking an f in school on an oral exam because i didn't want to talk out loud in front of the class i was fine as a class clown but not as anyone to say anything of significance so just give me an f i don't care and yet when you say yes to the one who has something to say you sometimes find yourself with a greater fear of not speaking than speaking sometimes there's something locked up in your soul that is almost volcanic in nature and it's it's not healthy to keep it suppressed it's not smart it's just it's just better that we speak and that we say what he's saying i believe that i'm witnessing something here tonight that that i will remember when i go home and pray into we we need something right now that will honestly invade the nation and it's got to be bigger than what any movement or any individual can take credit for we just need to be the people that fan the flame it's got to have power and it's got to have purity it's got to have the holiness factor and it's got to have the display of power it's got to we need desperately for mothers and fathers that will give of their own lives so that these children that came forward and young people that are already in the room who have said yes that they they have people that will believe in them not control them but believe in them empower them stand behind them we we didn't have enough mothers and fathers in the back in the 70s you know a spiritual father was the guy who got saved the week before you did you know it's just kind of how it worked you know but what's happening now has the potential of shaping the course of history for an entire generation and you have you have the ingredients of that you have it's it's in the air i don't know how to describe it i'm i didn't come prepared to talk about this at all i just sat down here tasting of something i haven't tasted in a while i've tasted this before it's beautiful there's about a thousand things i'd like to say and i i'm i'm kind of kind of at a loss in a sense so let's just see where we go we'll just kind of go on this little journey together and we may just go in circles i've seen this before i've seen this before well i've seen this before but we'll find out how many of you have had those moments where you just are not hearing clearly from the lord how many of you have had those moments when you're not hearing clearly from the lord but you can sense his presence right that's his voice you're designed here everything about you was seamlessly designed to engage with the great i am he fashioned you and designed you to perceive him and to engage with him the problem is is we think comprehension is the evidence we've heard comprehension is at the end of the journey of hearing but hearing is because he's here he is the word of god and so when he is here he speaks by nature his very presence speaks well all i feel is peace guess what he's saying see if i discount my capacity to hear in my effort to be humble or to appear more hungry then i'm actually discounting the grace that god's put in my life it doesn't cause me to progress it doesn't cause me to hear better to discredit the capacity he's given me to hear only hurts me he's not offended he doesn't withdraw but if i critique something he has done in me i will always come out wrong i'll always fall short of what he's actually doing a number of years ago i traveled to argentina i wanted to i was invited to work alongside of randy and randy clark and support him my my good good friend and but i wanted specifically to see argentina because i had read of the revival that they've had for so many years i wanted to see it for myself but i also wanted to to taste and see i wanted to experience it the bible says taste and see that the lord is good taste is experience c is perception what you experience will change your perception i wanted to go and taste and see and measure if you will just for my own curiosity i didn't broadcast i don't think i told anybody but i went and through various connections and time spent with various leaders in the meetings with randy and with different ones i i i came away uh deeply impressed with what this nation what this body of believers was carrying and i came away with this illustration they their move of god was like a big red ripe juicy sweet apple and what we were experiencing in redding was a small little green tart apple but both are a hundred percent apple and sometimes you see something that's forming in in the making and as christians to display our hunger we critique that which is in the making and what we end up doing is becoming poor stewards of the grace that god has given us it isn't it isn't enhanced by me critiquing it it's enhanced by me honoring the life that god has given in that if i can say forming growing apple revival is that way you will have people come and they will say well this isn't revival i want to tell them i'm sure that that three foot circle you're standing in isn't experiencing revival but the one i mean is burning [Applause] and we're responsible to steward what god has given to us and and not get so analytical about how far we are or how good we're doing just say yes every day just say yes let history point back and say how significant it was you don't need to measure it you know you don't need to measure your faith every time i measure my faith when i open that jar it evaporated whatever was in there a moment ago is now gone the moment i start looking for my faith i can't find it anywhere i have learned the best i can i can do is just obey god just do what he says after it's over look back and you can identify oh that was by faith but don't do it in process because you get introspective when you turn inward i mean who has gone deep in deep introspection and you have come out encouraged [Music] we're slow learners let's be honest if if we realized what a trap it was we would never do it again the enemy wants me so much to get my eyes off the lord who is the source of my faith the source of my strength and he wants me to put it on me and call it humility call it hunger call it intercession call it any spiritual name you can because then it gives permission to stay we have habits of taking dysfunctions in our life and giving them spiritual terms which enables them to grow and dysfunctions aren't worthy of that kind of respect and attention those things need to be identified for what they are and turn from so here we are a people that have actually been designed by the lord to hear and to perceive god to engage with god this is such a complete part of his design for us that in hebrews 5 it says that we are to have our senses trained to discern good and evil senses sight smell hearing touch are senses trained in fact in hebrews 5 it's actually the mark of a mature teacher is that his senses are trained to discern good and evil i remember one sunday morning at home i was sitting right here in my you're in my chair no sitting right down here where i i normally sit and uh and the whole front was just crammed with people you know the the holy ghost mosh pit was going oh my goodness sometimes it gets a little crazy i i would rather error on the side of a hair of a little bit of excess than less lack you know that's that's just my bent i mean we've had people oh one guy is dressed as braveheart you know half painted blue and he's got a wooden sword he runs through the front of the sanctuary a woman comes in with a wedding dress and combat boots that was a good combination that was a picture of the bride of christ right there so we have things happen you know things happen i'm not real quick to react so was that god i don't know let's wait and find out i don't know come back next week let's see i don't know i don't i don't always understand so i was sitting right here and we were worshiping and the place was just crowded this young lady came stood in front of me and and began to do some strange things but you keep it in context we have strange things always i mean i had a guy run across he's doing flips like at his circus it ran and he and then he ran back and did it again and ran back again and he looked at me and i went one more so he he did again he left happy i was happy no nobody was injured it was good you know nobody was injured so i thought what's the best way to end it is just to say one more you know so this girl comes she stands in front of me and uh she begins to you know give expressions that were just a little strange but again in context and uh so i'm standing there worshiping and i just noticed it got cold got freezing cold and i start i i thought for a moment i thought you know what i remember this very strange story i'm not going to go into it but my brother had this demonic encounter and his office was absolutely freezing it was on the same heating system as a series of offices and that just came to my mind so i i was standing right right down here just in worship and this gal is right in front of me doing what she's doing and it wasn't you know outrageously strange it was just unique and i felt strange about it but sometimes sometimes the lord will actually turn off the way you're good at hearing so you'll learn to hear a different way it kind of forces you to hear a different way so what you're good at he shuts down because he's trying to help us to grow we that's what we ask for and so it's just freezing cold here and i thought that's weird so i walked over here about 10 or 12 feet away and it was it was completely fine it was warm good temperature here it was cold right there and i thought all right that's weird so i went to our head dancer and her name is summer and i said summer i need you to go up there and break some i didn't tell her what was happening didn't didn't make any big deal out of she got on that side of the stage she raced across that stage and as soon as she did it was like this young lady was held up by puppet strings and somebody cut the strings she collapsed to the ground just like that collapsed it wasn't a typical i'm going to sit down kind of a thing she collapsed a power that sustained her was broken how i don't know i i i don't know you don't stop to figure that stuff out you just do what he says if you don't know what he's saying do your best and so i did and so she collapsed to the ground the worship team of course they don't know anything that's going on there just exalting jesus the whole congregation and i i pointed out the situation my wife she was next to me and she leaned over and took her through deliverance and gave her a group discount got rid of all of them it's great [Applause] people need more group discounts is what they need so she she is free so the point was was senses trained to discern good and evil if you work in a bank and they train you to recognize counterfeit currency you know this you only study real currency you don't study counterfeit currency you only study you become overly exposed to the intricate detail of that hundred dollar bill so that if you see something that's counterfeit you might not even know why you just know it's not right something's not right with it it's the touch it's the sight it's the color it's something you can just tell something's not right and the way your senses get trained to discern good and evil is that you learn to come alive in the glory in the presence and it's in that place you start activating all of who you are to recognize him i know it sounds strange and just talking about this i give weird people an opportunity to be even weirder i it follows me everywhere i i know that that's true i know that i know that people that are just have a bent towards weirdness will get weirder still i know that but i'm leaving town so it's all right let's see you're welcome you're welcome honestly the reason i'm willing to take that risk at home is it's worth the risk because what if somebody discerns god by touch what if my wife and i were driving from a mountain community to reading years ago and we were singing in the spirit of two boys were in the back seat they became unusually quiet and calm which was a sign and a wonder equal departing the red sea and we were just singing the spirit in the car filled with this fragrance i didn't want to talk about it because i didn't want to jinx it you know i didn't want to somehow so i just kept driving you know we were just singing in the spirit and then i started i could taste it it was actually like granules of sugar on my tongue i'll never forget it as long as i live sense is trained see there's things in the glory that you were born for we were actually we're wired for this kind of lifestyle what you enjoy tonight is the normal christian life and yet there's more it's it's in the volume it's in the yes it's in the sacrifice and it's also in the stillness it's just in the glory it's just in the presence that's what i was born for see the scripture says all have sinned and fallen short of the so we were designed for the glory so what did salvation restore us to the lord you can't give him glory if you don't have any i'll try it on this side you can't give him glory if you don't have any [Applause] thanks to you had a chance when i was over there i get that the lord won't give his glory to another i understand that and and people who who work to compete with god rob his glory i get that but in serving him you're not another your yes is in perfect alignment with his yes in fact it's because of his yes strange thing happened this lady comes in to jesus and she's got this alabaster vial full of ointment perfume you've read it you've heard it preached on it's one of the great stories in fact it will be told of her throughout eternity so you will when you go to heaven you will see her and people will go that's her and you will go wow because it's it is so impressed god see here's the amazing things you can actually you can actually impress god you can mark his heart with a wow so much so that david so moved the heart of god that god the father calls his son the son of david how does that work how does that work that you you so moved the heart of god that he says i'm going to call my son your son so here's this woman with the alabaster vial she breaks it she pours it all over jesus she's got her hair she wipes it into his feet and how many of you believe it was all for jesus it was it was absolute abandonment to jesus but guess who walked out of the house smelling the same way jesus did the woman who gave all because you're not another having senses trained it's the curiosity it's not an invitation to be weird it's not an invitation to to be you know in competition uh as more spiritual than somebody else never use your gift to promote you in the eyes of others whatever you obtain through self-promotion you have to sustain through self-promotion it's exhausting it's an exhausting job and so here's this opportunity for us to actually learn how to recognize the voice of god how does he speak so many ways different than boys he speaks through presence he speaks through unusual circumstances unusual coincidences he just he's always talking but when i'm trying to comprehend everything then i restrict how he can speak to me because then he can only speak to me in words instead of in touch instead of in shape instead of in numbers instead of in circumstance see you are you are spiritual beings you are a spirit that has a soul that has a body i have to sleep i have to eat i have to have exercise it keeps my body healthy i have emotions i have an intellect i have a will those things have to be guarded and taken care of mental health is important it's critical that we learn how to sustain mental health and i'll give you what i believe the lord spoke to me about a year and a half ago the key to mental health is giving thanks in everything and the key to emotional health is rejoicing always the key to heart health keeping a pure heart is to pray without ceasing learn to do those three things and there's ongoing health so here we are we're spiritual beings here's the deal i need rest i need rest for my emotions i need to rest for my mind it's not good for me to go to bed with a lot of things on my mind that means i'm going to stay awake it's they were against the god's design for me but your spirit man needs no rest see while you're sleeping the holy spirit comes upon your spirit man and speaks and you may not wake up in the morning with a revelation that you can share with everyone but you face a decision that afternoon and you're unusually ready why because he set you up you're in a worship time like this where you sense the presence of the lord everywhere in fact you have to you have to almost run away from it to get away you know it's like he's everywhere he's just permeating the atmosphere what's happening you know he's depositing grace inside there's things this week that you'll face that you just received instruction for you don't understand it yet because if you did you would exalt yourself because of the process we'd be too we'd be too caught up in our ability to hear instead of the yes that takes us in to the presence as a yielded person see great faith doesn't come from striving it comes from surrender it's surrender it's the yieldedness it's the yes and so he touches you he ministers to you some of you when you leave tonight you'll talk with a friend and they'll say something it will just it will just have that it'll just leave that mark on your heart you may not even know why but you're just being set up with information you'll need later this week or maybe it's next month sometimes he puts his thoughts concepts in us that we're not ready for we can't develop yet but the thought is there and he makes sure that we have this conversation this relationship and we listen to this worship song and we have this person teach we have all these things that are enhancing what he's put in us why because he's preparing us for a decision that we need to make next month there'll be an opportunity to step and to share the gospel of somebody we'll need an extra bit of courage that we didn't have before and he's he's just building us with these encounters so never underestimate the brilliance of that sense of peace because that is his voice he's speaking if we live with an awareness that he's continuously ministering to us he's always giving us these kinds of downloads then we live with a greater confidence that we are being prepared for what's ahead of us we're being prepared i like to engage with the presence of the lord as i go to sleep at night i like to turn my heart of affection towards him in the book of genesis 1 it says there was night and there was day which made up the first day so your day begins at night a lot of people would have better days if they had better nights if you just take that time just to tune your affection i i don't i'm not looking to intercede i'm not looking to change the world i'm i'm just looking to go to sleep in an embrace with the spirit of god that's what i'm looking for i'm looking for that that engagement with a person so that as i sleep he guards me he teaches me he empowers me he comforts me he heals me all the things that he does he does because we're in this embrace i wake up for whatever reason just wake up or there's a noise i have to use the restroom or whatever it might be that heart goes back to that engagement because i know that he in these moments of presence these moments of peace he's he's doing stuff in me to make me more complete to make me more capable of confronting the impossible realities that he has assigned for me none of us are qualified enough none of us are skilled enough gifted enough jesus can do everything that we can do better he he doesn't need our gifts you know somebody i go to somebody who says man that was a you're saying a beautiful song and they tell me no it wasn't me it was jesus i always want to tell them yeah it wasn't that good it was it was good but it wasn't that good i mean if jesus would have sung that he would have created galaxies in the first verse you know none of us are have enough but with him empowering us this is going to sound a little strange to you but if i say what the father is saying as jesus said what the father is saying what i say has the same power as jesus now jesus is eternally god he can make anything happen at any time but he chose to live with limitation as a human being and he defined himself as the son of man can do nothing so he had emptied himself still eternally god but he chose to live with limitations why so we'd have an example to follow he showed us what yes looks like he showed us the fulfillment of the prayer on earth as it is in heaven he illustrated perfect theology he was the walking evidence of an absolutely wonderful and perfect father everything he did was to affirm that it was moment with a woman caught in adultery as a father-daughter moment all of these all of these moments that you see sprinkled throughout the new testament they're always revealing the father and this nation is aching for a revelation of the father it would just fix everything every economic political racial you name it pandemic it doesn't matter what it is all of that stuff grows in the absence of a father and it's not to point a finger is to open a door and say here's an opportunity we have the chance to show what he's like he's a father fear will always attract whatever information is needed to legitimize its existence fear will always attract whatever information is needed to legitimize its existence fear attracts information that becomes the food that sustains the spirit of fear in a person and or in a culture the answer is not found in debate it's found in a people who have the courage to love well so you were designed to hear from god to perfectly seamlessly connect with god everything about you your physical body your capacity to understand some of you don't under don't realize that that great idea that you had was given to you in the middle of the night that great idea of how you were to do something special for one of your children was actually deposited in the night you don't realize that that creative idea you had for that very special vacation and so blessed your entire family it actually was deposited during a worship service we have this capacity to hear and we are always perceiving and hearing but sometimes our attention is on am and he's speaking on fm so sometimes our attention is on well this is the way he's always spoken to me i remember i went to pray for a lady once she we're ready to go the meeting was over in the morning and sunday morning in another city and there was a lady standing right over the side and the pastor said would you mind praying for one more and she was the only one left and i i said no that's fine so i went over as if i could pray for her and she she said she said i'm usually uh healed when my husband prays for me i went i thought well you don't want me to pray that's fine i'm hungry for lunch so i i pushed in a little further because i could tell that was my assignment so i pushed in a little far farther it it took about 20 minutes just to get to 15 minutes made just to get to where i could actually pray because she had objections to every and i usually don't fight that hard if somebody doesn't want me to pray for him you know enjoy your moment i don't know what else to say but she just had an objection every step along the way and finally i said well let me just pray so i started to pray for her and uh and i stopped i said do you need to forgive anyone and that's that's not a normal thing for me because i it comes off as an accusation and i i don't ever like to make people you know i i don't want to make that automatic i said i'm just curious and she said you don't realize what they've done to me i went oh brother and she she just she wouldn't forgive now forgive me if this is outside of how you function but when i'm talking to somebody that won't forgive my conversation is over there's nothing i can do you know there's nothing i can do i can't force somebody and if they don't forgive they're stuck so i basically just tell them you know when you're ready to take care of that talk to your pastor whatever and i just i had this thing come on me where i i felt like okay so i just prayed for her anyway and she was instantly healed and when she realized that she dropped to her knees and she said i didn't deserve it it was that it was that what a father does it's not sometimes what a pastor does but it is what a father does he just he crossed that line and he said i'm going to give it to you anyway and it was the testimony to her of what he's like it was it was the missing piece that she needed and she fell to her knees in repentance because the father just went over that line and that's don't tell me what you need tell me what they need and be that does that make sense many people want you to teach on honor because they don't feel they receive enough honor oh shut up honor is not not about what you receive it's about what you give don't don't tell me what you need you just give it you'll you'll get what you need so here's this here's this this lady who just tastes of something that reveals his nature and this is the great privilege we have in life what i want to do tonight is is in invite you into this well you're already in it but let me maybe define it for you a little bit more you're in this journey learning to perceive him it's there there are things you ever in a room with somebody who talks very soft and you just can't hear them they're on the other side or let's be more honest you're in a restaurant and you're trying to eavesdrop for somebody two tables away and you lean over the booth and you do everything you can to possibly hear that's what it is when you want to hear his voice you're anticipating you're not saying god knows my address if he wants to speak to me he knows what i need i used to have this massage chair i'm going to get another one but i sold it with our last house but it is the will of god will of god capital w capital i capital double l will of god i would sit in there in that chair and of course push the appropriate buttons and my wife benny would say i'm going in the kitchen you want something to eat yeah i'm starving so she brings food in i'm starving enough to eat what she brings to me not starving enough to get out of the massage chair to go get it myself and a lot of christians are starving enough they'll eat if you bring it to them in the massage chair but they're not leaning into the voice enough to pick up the most subtle hints of his voice that smell that sound you don't always understand but you're always impacted you don't always understand but like mary mary the gabriel the angel shows up says you're going to give birth to the christ child she says how can that be i'm a virgin he says the spirit of god is going to come upon you and you'll conceive i'm not sure she understood anymore after he answered the question than she did before and so she prayed this prayer that i have prayed countless times through the last 40 some years be it unto me according to your word say that with me be it unto me according to your word say it again be it unto me according to your word she was declaring let your word remember he spoke the worlds into being let your declared word have its full impact on who i am i'm not asking to comprehend it i don't need to understand it i want to i love understanding i love knowledge i love wisdom i love understanding it's the thrill of my life to grow in those things but it's the willingness to live with mystery that attracts revelation it's the willingness to live with what you don't understand simply because it came from him that actually attracts fresh insight fresh revelation i don't know that wisdom comes to the gifted i don't know the revelation comes to those have on who have unusual skills i think it mostly comes to people that have just said yes without any restrictions i want you to look at one portion of scripture with me and then we're going to wrap this up and pray we've we've already been here basically two days it's in john chapter 6. you guys had service this morning so this is marathon day for you guys congratulations yeah it is congratulations jesus image you you've been here all day and then i came and preached the eternal gospel as i did this morning so that's that's the way it works all right here's what i want you to look at there's just this bizarre story in john 6 it's a personal favorite this is where jesus has a crowd he's fed he's fed thousands possibly in the neighborhood of 20 000 people with the multiplying of loaves and fishes so if you can imagine him in this crowd he's been healing the sick he's been raising the dead the food is multiplied everybody's happy as can be and the disciples are enjoying this place of warm fuzzy fame and they're with jesus and jesus stands up and he says you know you guys you're gonna have to eat my flesh and you can just see the crowd going did he say eat his flesh i think so and you see the crowd because the bible actually describes it read through chapter six they start murmuring and going what things were going so good you can see the disciples going oh no oh no he's going to do that thing again and jesus can see the crowds getting upset he never bothers explaining anytime you think god owes you an explanation re-read the contract he owes you nothing if you get it it's a gift but until then you say yes so jesus sees everybody's upset and he says you also have to drink my blood he doesn't tone it down he tones it up he doesn't he doesn't dial it down to make everybody feel comfortable with the moment he says let's crank this up a notch and so he cranks it up and he does this i think three times in his sermon by the time he's done everybody's left now that's church growth at its finest right there all of you leaders who have used gideon to encourage yourself you have a better one jesus lost 20 000 and ended up with 12. and here he's in this moment and he speaks to peter and or he speaks to the disciples it says verse 66 says from that time many of his disciples went back and walked with him no more it's amazing then jesus said to the twelve do you also want to go away simon peter answered him and said lord to whom shall we go you have the words of eternal life now most of us love peter a lot for a lot of reasons but one is we identify with somebody who makes so many blunders you know we feel comforted like jesus didn't forsake him i'm in i mean but peter actually this is one of his most profound comments because this is what happened in this story jesus is teaching things that are offending everybody's mind and some were waiting for comprehension to know they've heard from god peter was waiting for something to move him on the inside so here's this crowd they all start murmuring you can see the crowd dissipating you can see the disciples concerned that their movement is coming to an end and you've got to know remember they're competing for who sits on the right and who sits on the left they're competing for position for posture because they think he's going to establish kingdom in jerusalem now and have vindication on the romans that's what they're vying for and they're looking at a lost opportunity and you've got to understand they're feeling deeply insecure at the moment and so jesus says are you guys going to go too and peter makes this statement that is so profound peter says where are we going to go we burned all our bridges our yes was so complete we have no more options and then he said this phrase you have the words of eternal life this is so significant look back at verse um 63 jesus said to the group he said it's the spirit who gives life the flesh profits nothing here's the phrase the words i speak to you are spirit and their life just follow this i'll be through in a moment the words that i speak to you are spirit and that spirit gives life so picture this here's jesus christ the son of god the bible calls him in john 1 the word made flesh so he is in the flesh i tell people don't tell me you love jesus you don't love the bible this is jesus in print i don't understand everything i read so if you understood it all you'd have a god your size i don't remember what i read i don't remember what i had for breakfast last friday but it still nourished me [Applause] so he says my words to you are spirit what is he saying the word of god is made flesh but now whenever jesus talks his words become spirit what did peter say you have the words of eternal life here was what i believe peter was was announcing i'll put it in my terms jesus we don't understand your sermon about eating flesh and drinking blood any more than the crowd that left all we know is that whenever you talk we come alive inside all we know is that whenever you speak we find out why we're alive the whole point was he they were nourished by a word that offended them but it nourished them because they received it they didn't leave like the crowd they stayed in the middle of an offensive word and it led them to eternal life it fed them with life when satan came to jesus said turn the stone into bread jesus quotes a passage from the old testament man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of god you are alive because god talks you are alive you are able to sit here insanity most of you insanity in you're saying there we go insanity that just wasn't working well well i've got to use a better never mind incense all right you're sitting here completely sane because he speaks man lives by what proceeds from the mouth of god you are alive in christ because he speaks into your spirit he speaks into your soul he restores your soul he brings life to you he makes you cross paths with that person that just says that one thing and if you want hope it's there for you if you want faith all you have to do is listen if you're leaning in and inviting that voice to come and to deposit in you you will have more than you will ever need even in the middle of your most defensive moments when 20 000 people leave what you said yes to there's still nourishment for your soul in that moment you were designed to hear stand please i'm we're gonna pray for folks and and uh i should have told you at the beginning if you get through before i do just go home we're gonna have a team up here in a few minutes we're going to call certain words of knowledge and pray for people and uh i we'll do that somewhat quickly and then we'll have a team up here to pray for everyone's prayer but i feel like i feel like i want to have an altar call but i don't want you to come up i just want you to in your heart come up it's what i'm asking for i don't know if i've ever done it like this before but i feel like i feel like i'm inviting you to to lean in you hear a conversation and you want to you want to be a part i remember when i was oh goodness 10 years old or so my parents would have guests over to the house and they'd be out in the living room laughing and i would have to go to bed that stinks i remember crawling down the hall bedrooms here always here the fun room with all the people was there and i would crawl to the end of the hall and i would lay there because i just didn't want to miss anything every once in a while they would see me and make me go to bed but occasionally oh come on in and it was worth the risk it was worth the risk because who knows i may get to join in the fun it was always worth the risk and i believe he's looking for kids that will crawl to the end of the hall and just say i don't want to miss anything i was born for this you designed me for this you designed me to be a hearer you designed me to perceive you to recognize you to grow daily in my experience with you continuous affection and worship stirs up in my soul for you i'm a living offering for you i just don't want to miss it i'm at the end of the hall again i don't want to miss it now so father give a grace you designed us for this already it's not like you have to create it i'm just i'm saying lord do something to help us to stop getting in the way and to somehow enhance how you've been talking our entire life you've been talking day after day after day with our senses with our imagination with our inspired thoughts with our feelings my daughter was babysitting this little girl years ago my mom my wife and my daughter took her out to lunch and so they're sitting there she was just kind of depressed the little girl was she's like two three years old something like that and they asked what's wrong she identified some things but she was very moved by the brown butterflies on the tall building downtown it's the jailhouse a little girl who knows nothing about that building is impacted by what's coming from the place brown dark butterflies that are surrounding the building she saw something of the demonic that was robbing an entire group of people from their purpose little child picked it up that open our eyes to that open our eyes to that open our eyes to the childlike approach to life that just says by nature we hear by nature we here say this with me it is my nature to hear from god and i say yes increase that in us tonight i pray increase that i also pray that you would increase the dream life the encounters the visions the small impressions those strong impressions all of these things that what i saw earlier tonight this jesus people movement would have a company of trusted trusted seasoned saints that say yes that regardless of age would be mothers and fathers of a movement for a generation that doesn't know the left hand from the right they've lost many have lost all perception of reality and i'm i'm praying lord that your presence as the almighty god as the perfect loving father that you do something in this company of people tonight that would be so far-reaching so far-reaching i want we're going to take a moment i honestly felt i might have even been better i felt like i needed to stand up tonight to say a jesus people movement is beginning i'm going to ask you to pray into that just however that looks to you just praying to pray into it out loud you don't have to yell and scream but don't don't keep it happy thoughts in your head not tonight tonight i want you to pray out loud for this and then we'll move into the rest of the meeting let me hear you pray include your yes in the prayer include your yes in the prayer thank you lord god thank you most high god dreams in the night and we ask you to awaken even neighbors those who live close to us with dreams with visions encounters like you've done with the 10 40 window the bearish parts of the of the planet where people are awakened at night seeing a man in white we're asking that for florida we're asking that for this part of the nation that there would be people awakened in the night because they've encountered the almighty god we pray for that god increase that pray into this folks praying to us right now praying to this right now that there'll be an absolute visitation of god on everybody who lives around you simply because you're there pray for pray for them by name lift your voices lift your voices we declare that visitation of god encounters with god in the marketplace in the business place in the various churches represented encounters with god off the charts outside of what we're accustomed to rearrange our understanding of who you are and what you're like that's awesome there's a red you've got a sweatshirt back there says jesus people come on i didn't even see that i i could have used that as encouragement earlier thank you lord grab the hand of the person next year we'll make this a final thing before we pray for some people i want you to i'm sorry i don't know if you guys hold hands or not i it's too late if you don't bummer you've been sitting there all night and you still don't know who they are i want you to pray for them i want you to give yourself in prayer right now for the person on your right and left listen to me if they hear from god and know it it'll change everything if they hear from god if they know they've heard from god it changes everything no more guesswork clarity of heart clarity of mind god is speaking and we want to learn to recognize his voice lift your voices pray for that one and then we'll wrap this up thanks lord [Music] hmm you would do that here we ask that it would be mirrored on the west coast that the the coast would unite in a yes to the lord jesus christ that all the debates all the the uh arguments would be silenced because the presence of the almighty god has become manifest that the word of the lord would be declared into public houses into places of offices and state offices and government we declare the declared word of the lord that from this group prophets would rise to stand in places influential places to bring the word of the lord and i asked god that you'd give this company of people an unusual grace to reveal the father in the same way that jesus revealed the father to the woman caught in adultery in the same way we would see what the father is like all across this nation i pray time is this it's nine so it's three hours that's not long goodness gracious one of our elders years ago said we need to change the name of the church to denny's always open another one said the only hand up because we want you to be ready to receive we see times where simply the mentioning of a condition the miracle is released in the decree so many times it's ridiculous so i'm just telling you the heir is already pregnant with him and he is uh sometimes he let us cooperate and we pray but sometimes he does it on his own so go ahead hosanna shin splints and pain in your right hand kind of where like the thumb and the fingers meet all right does that make sense to shin shin splints back over here anybody else over here all right we got some over here anybody want that no i'm serious folks i want all these that have had cover they have breathing issues i want to make sure you stand because we want to make a declaration of you and your household that this thing stops tonight your full lung capacity ability to smell all that stuff is restored so tonight tonight go ahead uh insomnia all right insomnia all right okay go ahead fibromyalgia all right anybody have fibromyalgia yeah is it okay back over here all right okay go ahead and also tendonitis tendonitis whereabouts uh just kind of in the is that kind of where the the right elbow okay okay uh tendinitis issue in the right elbow right here okay all right good yep ibs or crohn's disease ibs irritable bowel syndrome right crohn's disease anybody have and that tonight's a good night to get free of that all right is there run into someone tomorrow with that condition and you just remember you got set up all right go ahead um rheumatoid arthritis specifically in the hands okay rheumatoid arthritis we've got okay right somebody with a pain in the right side of the stomach like particularly right here maybe due to that digestive okay yep yep yep is there anyone that's broken a rib here and you have issues with that broken a broken rib is there is that oh back over here all right i believe tonight your night i i sense that earlier and it just reminded me of it yeah go ahead oh also right hand the arrest due to injury you lack in motion up and down all right restricted motion all right go ahead um i feel like someone has eczema or you've had a skin disease and you still have the scars from the disease all right all right we've got several you know what i there's does this ever happen to you there's certain uh disorders uh diseases or whatever that you have a special hatred for that that skin thing is one of the things i just i mean i hate all disease but that one i just hate that thing and uh i just i i think we're supposed to have an attitude like jesus you know just hate what he hates and he hates that stuff because it torments people it torments i've watched people with that for years and it just torments them so that that must be broken tonight go ahead uh someone who's had pain in the back of your neck all the way to half you like the top of your back it's just like front back your neck until like teeth three two three we've got several of that oh goodness oh my goodness there's a whole movement over here anytime i see that many people sitting in the area with one problem i know you didn't sit there because you're part of a club honestly it's the language of the spirit it's an unusual coincidence it says there's an anointing on uh of god healing this disease so we're we'll uh this this will be good this will be good go ahead uh a twisted knee with like a sport injury okay uh i thought my right right knee but okay twisted twisted right knee sport injury all right we have several all right go ahead uh a migraine because of a trauma you had migraine okay a migraine because of a trauma is it raining on you air conditioning yeah the air conditioning is showering favor and blessings increase yeah i have i have seen it rain indoors on two occasions yeah it actually rained my son brian was leading we had doing a conference in las vegas and he started leading they were playing the song rain down from delirious it rained for i think about three hours indoor it wasn't the kind of rain he needed faith to see you got wet if you sat under it stood under it so yeah all right go ahead sorry i'm easily distracted rain oh boy yeah go ahead a ligament injury either acl or a ligament injury um because of sports okay no all right like all right okay all right okay got it got it yep if i don't see you you still have permission to get healed all right go ahead um heart palpitations that have been concerning you i think due to stress and intense workload heart palpitations okay all right uh and expanding on migraines migraines are like a cluster headache on the left hand side i think for a mother of young little ones okay does that make sense to anyone put a hand up real quick all right all right go ahead i got um an ear infection or breast cancer and also got someone that has pain in their left um their right ankle and it goes up your leg okay any of those things put your hands up real quick okay all right i feel like there might be someone here with a broken toe specifically the pinky toe okay broken toe all right all right good go ahead traumatic hip injury maybe even in the pelvis okay does that make sense right up here all right boy we got a lot of people to pray for tonight this is gonna be good all right is it raining back here too yeah with people moving if it was just rain gems or something you know that'd be kind of cool i've heard of that happening all right let's we've got a couple more go ahead uh someone who has their inner ear being damaged or either born that way but it throws off like your balance and your perception and and the way you perceive space and that okay does that does that make sense to anybody right right here okay excellent all right um and then someone who's got a left ankle that is fused um and you've got limited mobility to it due to like a car accident or a sports injury all right a fused left ankle all right okay this is a phone we had a one of our police officers in the church arrested a guy and he's he's he's in the police station writing a report on him you know before he locks him up and he looks at him and the guy looks like he's in pain he says what's wrong he says ah says i have this ankle that was surgically fused so he can't do anything with it and it was hurting him and he said well can i pray for you which is normally what policemen do with prisoners so he prays for him and and when he goes back to finishing report he looks over him his eyes are like this because he has absolute complete full movement of his ankles [Applause] in the police station come on good uh somebody's got a problem with this small bowel it affects the way that you absorb food digestion all right okay yeah small bowel all right is there anyone here that's allergic to eggs okay wow yeah i feel like the lord wants to heal that say to eggs eggs yeah wow okay okay your daughter all right over here over here all right boom i hate food allergies i i announced in one meeting a sunday morning service just regular i stopped i said anybody with food allergies food allergies stand up so a mother stood up her son was autistic and he was deadly horribly allergic i should say to wheat and dairy and so we just prayed over the whole group you know and went on with the meeting right after the meeting she took her son autistic son to go get pizza to see if he was still allergic not only does he no longer have wheat and dairy allergies no longer autistic [Music] [Applause] all right that works for me we've had a number a number healed and a number aren't healed yet so we're always in process we're in this relational journey everyone that raised your hand for anything we called out stan please right now oh my goodness gracious all right some of you would be easier if we just had those who didn't raise their hand stand like in this section over here all right here's what we're going to do we're going to pray there are so many standing especially like over here here's here's what i'm what i want you to do this will take me a moment i just need your full cooperation all of you that are standing in a moment i'm going to have you put your hand up when you do those of you that are sitting down i want you to go to someone who has a hand up even if you've never prayed for anyone in all your life you actually make it more fun for the holy spirit so i want you to go to somebody but here's here's the deal i'm going to ask you don't start praying until i give you final instructions all right so go to somebody who has a hand up go to them have them put their hand down and we're going to wait till everybody's covered and then we'll pray and and this will go somewhat quick all right so put your hand up if you're standing if you're sitting you just got drafted and i want you guys especially to head over here because we've got so many people some of you are actually going to have to turn and pray for each other but for right now just do your best stand pick a person you may have to pick two people you have two hands for a reason all right keep your hand up until somebody comes to you as soon as somebody comes to you put your hand down okay now if you're ready to pray for someone that still has their hand up would you pull it down for them okay now if no one is there to pray for you i want you to wave your hand at me because i want to make sure okay we've got about seven or eight maybe nine people over here so you two guys are right next to each other maybe you or no somebody's coming back to you back over here if you can even turn and pray for each other or somebody crawls in there you've got two hands for a reason find out anybody on this side okay here's what i'm going to ask you to do we still have a gentleman right here i need someone we have a couple right there a couple of men right there all right somebody else got i don't want anybody leaving with the spirit of rejection so we gotta make sure we go to everybody all right okay we've got one more wave your hand if we missed you all right with that many people with hands raised this is close to a sign and a wonder so you did good here's all i'm going to ask you to do how many understand jesus is the healer is he big enough to do it through you yes he is many of you have done this many times others have never done it before but we're going to pray in his name because he's the one who heals you're going to deliver a package ups man delivers a package to your home he didn't buy it he just delivers it when you pray for somebody and they get healed you just delivered a package somebody else bought and that's what we're doing right now so i'm going to ask you number one to find out what's wrong here's the important thing all of you that are receiving prayer they don't need your full medical history all they need is a target honestly i hurt my shoulder they don't need much more than that all right keep it very simple because we don't have time number one number two you'll depress the person praying for you and that's not very good so honestly keep it simple give them just a direction i i injured my rim i broke my rib whatever it's simple secondly if it's a proper place to put your hand lay your hand on the problem if it's not just put your hand on their shoulder and pray it's one of the ways people are healed who laying in a pants only one as you pray i want you to learn and here's the invitation i'm going to give you to a lifelong journey learn to hear the lord i know that's very abstract in this moment but just as you begin to pray for them there are moments where you sense a certain way to pray um jesus never asked the father to heal anyone he never prayed for anyone to be healed he only spoke to conditions so as you have that sense of personal faith i mean if you want to pray for him that's totally fine the bible says the prayer of faith heals the sick so it's absolutely legitimate but jesus spoke to conditions as your own encouragement increases i want you to speak if you're praying for somebody with cancer just say there's no cancer in heaven you are outlawed here on earth as it is in heaven cancer go now in jesus name you pray something that is honest and effective for you all right so holy spirit we welcome you we ask you now to glorify the name of jesus through miracles through signs and through wonders now go ahead and turn to the person real quickly find out where to what to pray for so okay should be praying make sure we use the little kids in this one the young children i want them involved because they'll see god use them if there's a child in your group have them lay hands on the problem we speak to arthritis in the name of the lord jesus be gone now we command strength into the lungs strength into the lungs we renounce covet as the great thief that came against this nation no more no more in this body of believers no more father we ask you to restore sense of smell everything restored now in jesus name [Music] lord restore all the injuries from accidents we declare that healing word in jesus name bones be reset sense of smell be restored now heart palpitations we declare peace over you in jesus name okay you got about 15 seconds okay go ahead and end your prayer but stay with the person no hit and run stay with them all right now the second part i believe to be as important as the first part i've actually seen i i've done it belabored pray over somebody with nothing happening and the moment they took an action i saw it with my own eyes a miracle take place sometimes we're one action short of a breakthrough so i'm going to ask i don't want anybody to be foolish and injure yourself but i'm going to say push the limit push the limit go to the limit just a bit i want you to examine yourself try to do what you couldn't do move it away you couldn't move if you couldn't smell something get a piece of gum from somebody smell it juice honestly do something check yourself out if you're at least 80 percent better then i want you waving both hands over your head like this that go out of touch come on beautiful yep right up over here another one there and here there look at that beautiful come on bless the lord bless the lord okay all right give me give me your attention for a moment shh how many of you jesus just healed your body wave your hand at me like this i want look around the room wow glory to god beautiful wonderful wonderful all right now here's the deal you've lasted this long don't quit now jesus ministered to a blind man twice before he could see clearly you remember the story he said i see men but they're like trees walking so in other words everything was blurry jesus ministered again and that's when it came some of you need a second time if you're already healed um don't let a person pray for you again because they might mess it up just leave it alone don't don't fix what's not broken all right all of you that prayed for somebody turn and pray again if they need to be pushed over the edge all right and if they're already healed then have them pray for you and tell them what you need all right but we're going to take just a few flammable you've got to be careful not to light a match this place can blow up all right come on come on down all right you know we didn't pray for this but did anybody have any metal dissolve or disappear do you check yourself out because we i was just thinking about it we had that testimony this afternoon that video it was so interesting of a guy with 30 screws and it just all just all disappeared it was funny he had never been in that kind of a meeting before and he said he said i've never been to a bill johnson concert before i hadn't either but i have a concert i he didn't know what to call it he wasn't quite church broke or something all right let's hear what what the lord has done i dislocated my knee three weeks ago doing crossfit my right knee and um tonight i don't know if i was supposed to jump but i jumped during worship and my right knee was in so much pain that i couldn't like sit still during service but then floyd beth prayed and all the pain is gone [Applause] go ahead what did jesus do for you uh i hurt my wrists about a month ago and just kind of let it sit and uh thought it would get better and got to the point where i was last week i was like man i'm going to get this thing x-rayed um thought i might have like fractured it don't even know how but it's just been in so much pain and somebody was standing right here and said somebody in the right wrist and i was like let me just pray for myself really quick and before i even got to the last person god had already healed it nobody even had to come pray for me [Applause] i had covered um last july and i just lost myself my smell ever since i just couldn't smile and while i was being prayed for i could smell the person's breath and i just love it and it wasn't bad it wasn't bad but i just hadn't been able to smell and it was actually great can you smell that yeah it's my gum [Applause] [Music] [Applause] anybody else lost smell in covered stand up we declare the testimony of jesus is the spirit of prophecy we command in the name of the lord jesus that your ability to smell it opens now in jesus name and taste and taste right now come and get this gum you don't have taste come and get the gum or take it back to you all right some of you find stuff to smell start testing yourself and as soon as you get healed wave your hands at me go ahead go ahead so most of my life i had allergies and every time i was in a room i couldn't breathe with my nose at all and i had to take all these medications and when they started praying for me it slowly went away now you can breathe through your nose [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so i have been struggling with anxiety for a while just stress and my heart and just with anxiety it's been really hard for me to breathe and tonight when she was praying for me the lord healed me and i felt a burning in my chest and there was a way a weight on my chest for so long i can't even remember like being free and now i'm free [Music] i've had nine heart attacks 12 stents in my heart and i could never breathe real deep and tonight a group of folks were praying with me i got delivered i was diagnosed with systemic lupus 22 years ago say it again he was diagnosed with systemic lupus 22 years ago 20 yeah wow um i've been told 14 times you're dying and tonight god set me free [Applause] [Music] let's go ahead and stand up you've uh you don't have to go to uh your aerobics class in the morning you you just completed four hours tonight quite well three hours whatever standing sitting standing sitting let's just give one last shot of thanks and praise the lord [Applause] [Music] i want you guys to line up along the front here and i'm going to turn it back over to the pope and his lovely wife archbishop something like transgression bruised for our iniquity the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed the worst man could offer collided with the best god could offer the blood of his son all on the face of jesus that jesus yielded his life to the father he was buried in a tomb and three days later gloriously raised from the dead the blood won i said the blood [Music] god demonstrates his own love toward us in the while we were still sinners christ died for us jesus shed his blood he died on the cross he was buried he rose again from the dead on the third day to give you life and to prove that he is the son of god who he said he was today he is seated at the right hand of the father and for those who belong to him he is interceding for them eternally and that same jesus will return again he will craft the eastern sky like a whip and with ten thousands upon ten thousand he will return in glory [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign in 2017 we received a word from lou engle that we really believe is the word of the lord for our school our house and the entire ministry lou said that the greatest musicians in the world and the greatest vocalist in the world the greatest worshipers that they would descend upon orlando florida to jesus image and that word began to burn in us and we began to dream about what it would look like to one day have a school where people would come to worship jesus and be in his presence and receive his word and a church was birthed in that same worshiping atmosphere and what a beautiful opportunity that we have as a jesus people to come before him and to be at his feet and to pour ourselves out before him worship has the potential to unlock things that really nothing else in the world can unlock and so we decided about a year ago to launch a an opportunity within the jesus school setting for those worshipers for the musicians for the singers for the dancers for the artists for the poets and this is going to be a place where you can come and you can learn and you can grow and we have highly trained instructors who are going to be coming they're going to be teaching instruments they're going to be teaching vocals anything that you can think of with worship it's going to be there the worship is not about us we worship for him so we want to invite you to come come worship the king of kings with us so come and be a part of what the lord is doing come and give your heart to the lord come and surrender yourself to the lord and let's be ones that are willing to ride and go and we decided to name it after bethany that wonderful house where jesus was ministered to that place where the feelings of jesus was preeminent it was a place where he desired to not only move and work and teach and do wonderful things put a place where he would be adored a place where he would rest a place where he would run to so that he would receive ministry and so now jesus school has this space that's been created for all of you who are desiring to use your vocal gifts your instrumental gifts your gifts of worship the dancing gifts and give them to jesus [Music] jesus would make this a bethany that he'd make our lives of bethany where he'd come and rest and recline among them you
