yo what is up guys johnny geiger here today's video is about the hardest trick i've ever tried [Music] we've been doing numerous difficult tricks over the past few years [Music] so far i've been spending over 10 hours on it even more time that i spent on the switch casper slide [Music] the trick in this video is not an mbd it's been done by rodney mullen that is a tack combo on a scale from like one to ten this is the twelfth so finally what's the time to use my primo pad again [Music] this time we have to slightly elevate it because we needed to primo slide up it's like rock maybe built this kind of a frame step number two we find that in the middle of the trick it's called a roll that far we don't necessarily have to know how to trade with primo styles but we can add it to that also been putting in some work in that one i think key on that trick is to have a tight backdrop now the last step of the trick is this kind of heelflip primo slide so i've been working on that as well on and off the camera because i figured once i managed to walk in into previous light on the hillside i don't have any time to prepare or think because my heart will be going like crazy as part is all in the muscle memory no time to think so you can say this is a crazy quest i've been putting myself up with it's like the main quest of skateboarding after landing that trick you have ultimately defeated it just kidding but i want to mention it one more time how hard that trick actually is because it is rodney moon's ender in his video part it's like the last trick and usually you take the ultimate banger as the last treat a thing that was hindering me from time to trick where do you find an obstacle like that correct you don't that's why rodney built it for himself and that's why we gonna build it for ourselves as well and let me tell you this it's not going to be a professional build on the first few times i went i didn't even put some screws in there which was a mistake and i'm going to change that for today today i got a good feeling for the trick it's likely that i'm not gonna land it again and we're probably gonna end up for like the 20th time in this place until we're gonna land it but i'm not gonna give up and yeah what kind of geiger video would it be if i was not showing the entire process of that trick so let's go back to the very first day trying [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] uh [Music] so [Music] [Music] so and here are we on day number three as expected this trick turns out to be tremendously difficult and that's why i decided to get some help when i move from these regular force wheels to the how do you even call that this might gonna give me like some more balance we'll see the other day i tried it with this board you see same kind of wheels why am i not using this board i just set this up the grip tape is still like newish kinda but if you use a board primo sliding too long like the grip tape gets the worst shape [Music] possible okay this has been taking a while my trucks are like so messed up from all the primo slides uh it was kind of tough to get them in so let's do that primo thing on flat one more time and that works [Music] third day and we got 75 percent of the trick that is pretty good we're getting into that primo more frequently that's good it's a good sign it was not the cleanest i admit but i'm striving to get a clean one when i'm finally flipping but that one that just felt like so magical [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Music] i'm already done [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] so [Music] wow [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign trick hasn't been going easy on me nor on my board i mean look at that this grip tape is wax only and yeah we're back here we've been pressing this 10 hours we've been squeezing it together into like five or six minutes and we've been encountering a lot of issues it was hard to keep the spirits up and it kind of still is you can have like the mental strength of a buddhist meditating all month to go back and do it again between those little steps i've been working on my rolos because that is the essential trick in the whole piece and i never spend a lot of time working on that trick i actually asked alexander rademaker which is the person who already did the trick like six years ago yeah he recreated that he's one of the greatest persons on a skateboard alive if you've never heard of this guy alexander redemker check him out he's so good at skateboarding and has also invented more than a bunch of tricks been trying to explain the misery of that trick or the greatness for a long time now and now we're gonna go inside take a deep breath and try it again so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] oh my god wow [Music] wait
