yo what is up guys johnny geiger here back on track chasing after the craziest tricks of rapnee mo [Music] today's episode is gonna be a special one i'm gonna unveil one of my top secrets how i'll learn skateboard tricks therefore i got this key and it's for a lock in his office desk guarding one of my most valuable [Applause] things this is how i started skateboarding back in 2005 there weren't a lot of trick tips on youtube and i had to help myself so i went on the internet and i bought an actual trick book how amazing is that there's a lot of interesting stuff in here it's like a mixture of street skating and freestyle skating like that's one of the reasons that my selections of tricks got so weird just like i've been checking it out looking for creative tweaks and i came across this interesting version of the bebop and if you look at it closely we recognize it was taught to us by none other than rodney moon how awesome is that i'm probably not gonna find any words for the amount of awesomeness that's in that book in the ideas in german you might sometimes forget that my actual native language is with german bebop guitars jesus bebop is that's arguing i've done some research on the internet and i found some interesting stuff so first of all it was kind of hard to find some footage of rodney doing that trick like uh the only one that i found was from this contest in 1988 yeah he's pulling that out in his contest line like you know he did like the craziest bunch of tricks already and he does that trick too that's just how good it is i think in this 10 years there was only like one time that it was second place in a contest it made first place in every other context digging deeper in this youtube rabbit hole i found another interesting video that claimed that this was not the original bebop even though that this book says it is the original after watching that checking out all the evidence it seems like hans lingard was the first person to do that [ __ ] this video wants to name mon's version a half cup scare walk and the hang 10 version of that trick abe i don't mind i call that video bebop in sake of that freestyle book even though that there were some mistakes in that book because they called rodney was rolling up nollie but he's actually regular so it's fakie aside from that i also think bebop is like a manifest term in freestyle skateboarding these days okay my throat is starting to feel sorry from like so much english talking let's move over to the process of learning that trick there's a lot of skating in this montage like half of it street skating a lot of fun at the skate park and half of it learning how to be enjoy we out here at this beautiful skate park with [Music] thomas [Music] good friend deeney and some other friends now let's just enjoy the skate park for a bit let's do tricks wherever i want to do tricks where i'm gonna learn how to beatbox [Music] bebop [Music] let's put it again i'm going to do too much freedom slice [Music] [Music] it's exhausting it's a good warm-up good man so much fun let's move on the skatepark has everything a skater needs this not busy tack area many tricks for days sounds awesome let's do a few two-wheeled combos [Music] i'll take it [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] have i ever told you how much i love white wheels did i also tell you that i just set up new wheels today what is your gap in the game i swear this session has been like so much fun my buddy thomas has been trying crooked ground on the curved ledger over there and i want to try that too i actually wanted to try it ever since i got here now i'm gonna do it let's go [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] last one i'm not gonna redo that it's a little bit sloppy but yo that just took me like 24 minutes it feels so good to do crooked grind around curved ledges amazing i don't know what's up with the name dario but all of them are like so good enough is enough we've been speed skating all day done a lot of flip tricks exactly what i like okay we're gonna try to do this bebop let's see if gunther's trick tip is worth something okay page 122. once again guy right here original b-pop flip is supposed to be flipped hand-ten i believe well we're gonna do it like rodney though should i decide and forget about the spread kind of rolling fake in half cap heel position i guess do this kind of splits grab the board flip it easy like that let's go that is scary [Applause] [Music] my question is this dba gosh we're struggling with trick definitions again i'll figure it out when i edit this [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is mine coming as a surprise but it's kind of hard to commit to that trick yeah it's difficult it's never easy [Music] landed it with one foot that's almost a make can i appreciate every little baby step oh yeah this just randomly turned into a healthcare heelflip gonna try not to flick [Music] we made it so far after some self-doubts made it this close i mean we got it but there was still a little lean back i'm gonna clean this up trust me guys this is probably the funnest feeling finger flip ever [Music] finger [Music] that felt so good yeah this is happening we did it blended it two times provided two amazing angles of the trick in the beginning i was kind of skeptical but somehow i managed to pull this off and i'm hyped about that i'm really hot like let's compare this to rodney's version and one thing i can tell you and it's kind of scary to do this with a real size street skateboard it's longer the risk of losing your future children is way higher i also want to mention hans lindgren one more time credits to him for inventing the hang 10 version of that trick and actually naming the trick it's like the same thing we had on the ghetto but that's one of the things that i like about skating you know like a hospital flip is a casper flip or a casper flip is a hospital clip no like there's no rules so enjoy it thank you guys for watching want to support me you need us on patreon link in the
