anymore I'll still go but obviously got my lips done for nothing Jamie baby maybe not but nothing enough for nothing me anyway we don't worry but a lovely sea wall now this is special legend in the world of show business we don't often get to say this for happily married people on the couch not to each other the Jones is not related in any way so I need to make an announcement before we down the sofa anyway talk so Ryan you and Blake could be married for God don't do this to me - to our Moyers good for years are you guessing yeah yeah everyone half you just go you good okay yeah good luck with getting to four and gather Michael you've been together a long time now 15s together seventeen Meredith tea at willow Jade oh yeah together twenty two married 18 very good but Toby and Karen beat you all together 26 married one what happens there what were you saving my wanting I wanted to be really nice what happened well I think we sorry this is none of my business it's interesting uh but we we proposed and accepted about three or four times and every time you know I proposed once yeah let's do that let's do that and then yeah we'll do that and then the next time nothing happened the next time she proposed to me on a leap year and I said yeah absolutely you know yeah nothing happened in the third time I proposed again nothing happened mu said we've got to stop proposing yes I couldn't really agree on how to do it the we knew how to do it obviously but we didn't agree how to do it as it were we're sort of you about getting married now yes you're hosing they got down tell see he proposed solving you finally got there 25 it seemed like a good thing to do very good and of course Ryan might beautiful Blake sexiest man in the world or was a boy and yeah he is the sexiest man that's a good shot right there look look at you just beautiful and happy yeah so annoying yeah no but the cheers up when you started kind of being interested in girls you weren't as that cool or smooth with it no no no no I don't believe me no no no I really I went through puberty like 27 freak thing yeah it was not good yeah who's the girl in school the first the first girl the first walk I was obsessed with this this girl Fiona Gore chin ski mmm yeah she's in it she's actually she used to take the bus the the the opposite way of my actual home and I would get on the bus just to sit next to her for 45 minutes the wrong way there's something wonderful about it was something one of ya I love it when you're young it's so cute when you're older it's just stalking on some kind of watch list yeah yeah but I remember when I couldn't have been more than I don't know 11 years old my and I was just about to get off the bus cuz enough is enough I'm about to enter like Seattle or something so I was trying to get off the bus and I decided like kind of hit her with like this cool look or something like this like one of these like real sort of Don Johnson Miami might really like I do this I do this movies of getting down the bus and I sort of delay a little too long and the bus doors close on my back backpack and the bus just starts to leave bang it on the side of the car finally stops opens the door let's release his mic you know an idiot bag backpack and I could never look at her again yeah yeah yeah she's looking at you now I'm sure you magically he's the guy with the backpack the idiot with the ren and stimpy back recounted leader Jones and Michael obviously married wait fifteen years and people you know couples wouldn't be together like they have little rituals and ways to keep the relationship fresh but you have one involved in golf is this right yeah that old thing yeah I can handle this yeah I can I can I can kick his ass in golf advice okay but don't you make these bets when you're playing yeah if you deficit shot and can't get his ball um over the ladies tee he has to take his pants off mmm drop em on the porch Oh No on the cold articles yeah it's a bitch and pots crazy go for the exposing chef in some way yeah does he do not just my husband a sandy man I play well oh you have a question he was voluntary to play gold drop them on the course what are paparazzi doing all there has been an issue with paparazzi but I made him go into the bushes and drop his pants there's a deal and our will you and Jada you're kind of you know real good Hollywood couples at a power couple now married 18 years that's my wife go sit interesting good hi that's not a good do i that picture why did you do that look at her like a food like I'm still breastfeeding that's about wine just before we move on I must say to you because it's been such a weird year because the Oscars and and all the controversy and everything so and it must be awful you talking about it because you're kind of part of it if you know in the people of your performance that movie so where you officially now where you standing you're not the thing that's most important for me is that that the spirit of it has to maintain there's the the media sort of creates the the the US and Neb and for me there is no us and then it's we you know I'm a member of the Academy yeah so I felt very seriously that there's a sort of a kind of a regression that in America in general a regression towards separatism and racial and religious exclusion so for me it's more about putting my hand up and you know reminding my community the Hollywood community that we have to lead that you know diversity is America's superpower you know that's that's what what makes our country great and it's really important in Hollywood we've got to be pushing forward even in a time of a wider regression well hopefully something good comes out of it it always does yeah as my grandmother said that's the only thing that can come out of it you if you leave with love and light good is only gonna come out of it wise man mr. book you aren't here with the film a concussion it tells an extraordinary true story I think was this story look well known in America because it wasn't well known here you know it wasn't really well known in America at the time since I since I took the film it's been it's been really well known but it's a it's that you know the story of essentially there's a brain disease that that American football players and it's actually expanded beyond American football players who you know rugby and and you're the Australian rules and soccer even but this is the doctor who discovered the the brain disease that the players are getting and it opens here all it's a big comedy but it is a terrific story and it opens air on the 12th of February and I think often in this country if we hear a movie is about American football or baseball so we think we won't get it but this is really accessible because I think cuz it's told from the doctor who also doesn't know right absolutely yeah there's that doctor he was a Nigerian immigrant so he came and he discovered the disease he's a forensic pathologist so I had to see autopsies to prepare for this role yeah and uh you don't don't go to autopsies the general rule as a general rule is oh hey man we going to autopsy to margies don't go but it was it was definitely a jarring experience yeah is there no solution to the to the problem well what it is is that the for American football the helmet actually presents a greater problem because your brain is completely disconnected from the skull sitting in a fluid so the in the in the film we use the illustration of an onion inside of a jar and it's just free flung there's nothing you can do you can put an exoskeleton over you put the helmet over it but you still don't stop the onion from hitting inside and that's what happens to the human brain so I'll stop multibillion-dollar industry I know it's a very difficult thing to stop Toby you should not play American football just give that dream up Toby yeah just give it off give it up you can't take a man's dream which we've got a clip this is you as dr. Bennet Omalu at pleading with a representative from the governing body of football at the NFL yep yes a dr. Malo he loves at this fold he loves that he's now you yet now he is oh yeah look at that this looks like all the time he is so completely happy all the things that he suffered and it's funny he sent me a link eight there was a Nigerian comedian that was talking about my performance in the movie and he said he said Will Smith he's doing a Nigerian accent in his film and the haters will say that it is no good but I think that is not true I think he sounds like a Nigerian with a concussion the access for actors you know you all have to do accents but Ryan we don't think of Canadians as having accents and yet usually do you've lost your accent you would say yeah I sort of trained myself out of it but you know I go back home and it pops up again it's that's all I hear that's all Ottawa oh yeah this outer what I can hear about it's a wildcat it's a boat and that's not saying say it the way you say do you talk about are you having a boat but it's all mighty everything is I it's a bad word but I'm sorry so you handle everything without fuck-buddy and is it something about the Canadian accent that makes you a really bad liar um yeah whilst that yeah we're not we're not good at lying or fighting really that's been slappy very sexy where'd you go to the border trying oh yeah I was I went my wife is a foodie she loves these apple pies that they make at this at this place in Vancouver where I grew up so we grabbed a bunch of them and headed we're driving back down to the States and we're across the board you don't cross the border with love that's illegal right yeah and this guy knew something was going on and we get up to the border crossing hi she now knows yep I suppose I most like Hollywood actor stand like a kilo of cocaine you know was going on yeah yeah terrible I know worst poker face aware spy faces and yeah and he says yeah with my voice gets really high when I'm when I'm like lying he was like he got anything any fruit any vegetables in that cuddles like and he's basically a agent had me on the hook he looks amigos hey I remember that you're a movie he did that movie just friends and I was like yeah yeah yeah he's like you're that song at the end of it were you seeing this I swear by all / one and I was like yeah he's like yeah go ahead basically they sing dance monkey I'll bet you dance dad I was on my way by the next stop that's when CT showed you famously troz you know you from Wales around October after monsters are oh they caught up with Spanish yeah yeah I'd go the red part carpet and they go go hola like gracias gracias you saying anything about me a sec yes yes yes now to me you still have a Welsh accent yeah but is that because you're here I've been with my mum and dad this whole weekends and my brother and it gets it gets it gets stronger when I first met Michael I'd be on the phone to my mother and I'd get off the phone e today oh it's beautiful language that well show and we're talking about I was beginning glish I was 8 the night you won the BAFTA you were suddenly the welche Stroman I is that humble thing the comes honorees like a boyfriend from Swansea don't deserve guys because you must've had friends there American friends in the aldea must have done what you were doing with the other big challenge never I did okey-okey tonight yeah I think whales won that day actually yeah it was something that jog my memory about how important oh gee yogi was in my life and these are smiling and nodding right yeah I did it okay you'd know what to do right begin to yo the American soldier all right ready okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay okay now you can do that yeah we don't take we go take that back because I was it's arises like say in candidates uh sorry about that finally then gentleman Ryan Reynolds brings us Deadpool I love that I love that poster that poster tells you everything you need to know about this a really good poster yeah in a very tight red body here on February 10th and this must feel great for you cuz I this has been a labor of love goodness me yeah it's it's been the best and worst relationship I've ever been in years 11 years I've been trying to get this movie made and uh and you know we we we wrote a suite of script we did that about six years gonna meet a little bit of test footage for this movie that test footage sat on a shelf at Fox for four years and then about a year and a half ago somebody accidentally leaked it on the Internet super crazy oh I'm Canadian uh yeah what does this button do guess we're making the movie now it just went nuts the people just started writing it flooding Fox with begging and pleading for the for the Deadpool movie to get made and within 24 hours we had a green light we're making we're sorry yeah is that quick it was that quick they just it was so undeniable and it was a group felt felt really good or but also you must be quite pissed off that you know what you couldn't make the decision for yourself exactly we tried we tried and try try but the fans got it mate so there's no there's a great story to that this is the totally fan driven it wait people who don't know that they'll be thinking why why wouldn't this do you want to make this movie it's a superhero move everyone upside and it is a super movie and it's got all those things but it does also have this kind of indie movie sensibility and a kind of edginess well it's it's meta I mean the character knows he's in a comic book movie but he works in the x-men universe so he's dealing with other x-men he's talking about other x-men he's being making jokes about Ryan Reynolds I mean it very it's it's you know it's rated R which is unusual for you know Marvel x-men type movie it I think it's certificate 15 here in in the UK we can invent get yes in China it's ready to go yourself sad I wishing each other but yeah so it's it's a pretty unorthodox film and also what's great is to reflect like that that poster but also you've done other posters oh man on or the marketing of this movies been so much fun its are you involved in all things completely we love it we're like giddy lis texting and emailing each other in the middle of the night like what if we tried this the emoji poster I love the emoji after that is pretty great Deadpool is like as a joke text message between me and a couple of the people and then the Fox Martin II guess we're to make that a billboard you don't have a balls to make and also you haven't forgotten that it's opening Valentine's weekend of course yeah so yeah we've bought guys never die yeah but I know there are references to bonafide saying is it's a there's a romance a big love story in the film and then I mean the love story quickly turns into dick kicking revenge like I was shocked me that you guys cuz in America TV you can't say stuff like that no you can't say here I'll be tell just be saying hi on the couch the dads re yeah also like you say you didn't just work on the things you did the voiceovers for some of the trailers you did yeah I did yeah what's a good night yeah yeah exactly yeah I love that stuff too I do it at home all the time Prez my wife not sits there you know it's that voice that you in world / fear one man must stand alone Will Smith Ryan Reynolds Catherine zeta-jones Dobie Joe Graham Norton's pants rated on I want to see that movie there's an everybody clip from Deadpool this is essentially all lnj this is you and your crew you know couple the other X people confronting your nemesis yes you don't think about it watching the movie but there's a weird thing because it isn't true the director based some of the fight moves and the the kind of on Muhammad Ali yeah some of the big fight scenes are yeah yeah sorry you're not there Muhammad Ali yeah yeah yeah some of it was so much based on Holly just just that idea that how he sort of got in people's heads I mean he's punching him in the brain as much as he was punched him in the face yeah yeah a lot of it is that that's sort of floating kind of thing where he does it he's just it's a psychological warfare as well but it's not because when you were preparing to play Muhammad Ali so watching tapes how many hours did you spend watching tapes what I used to do is there was a way that his arm move and that Michael man the director wanted me to burn neural passages right so I would sit in a dark room for you know the 20 minutes at a time but for two or three hours a day just in a dark room and I would watch a loop of him doing the jab doing the jab well yeah Wow yeah trying to burn neural paths it didn't work a bad idea from the beginning yeah I'm great some Toby Jones you've been in some big superhero movies I thought you're gonna say captain man until it burns I know you were Captain America and Hunger Games you're in there do you get to do stunts and now I get to watch people do stunts I contrived special powers because in the Marvel stuff I'm Arnim Zola a sort of German nefarious dr. evil doctor mmm I'm against er Captain America we may run into each other in the future yeah yeah the moment I'm just preoccupied with Captain America Oh heading with him and is it shorty for you now when parents tell their children that you are Dobby from Harry Potter well it is because I think they look at me and think well yeah he's not that big maybe he could fit into a costume his eyes that there's always a slight moment of assessing whether I'm tall enough and then I said I've only partly responsible just for the voice but then there's always the kind of can you do the voice on the phone can you speak to my mother but now very being Dobby brings with it its own sort of fan mail yes those there's a certain kind of fan of Dobby that you think well you're not really a child or an adult and you're asking me to write a little legend for your partner in which you say you've been a really really bad Dobby as you know Dobby gets hit you know yes yeah in taking in the wrong context it could be implications of sadomasochism never imagined Harry Potter would go there it's uh it's very doctorly man I only sent that letter cuz I appreciate but I get your email very quickly I'm so sorry there won't be more Hunger Games because I this character this guy deserves a spin-off that is an amazing new is that gun my aunt Kathy yeah she's not sending your card now Catherine zeta-jones you've done extraordinary stunt work you did the you did a lot of the sword stuff in masculine slaughter the source the fins or oh yeah but I think I probably my biggest stunt is getting my ass through lasers and entrapment yeah we know did you have fun every day be able to do that my external voice Wow watch that trailer myself don't do in your old passion dad's army hits big screens at next Friday with Katherine and Toby and Toby you know for you taking on captain Mallory because Arthur Lowe was so loved and that's still on telly all the time yeah every Saturday yeah so how daunting it was a hundred percent daunting it was something I thought very very carefully about and then I saw the script but I suppose more importantly it was seeing the other actors involved you know where do you think you think I can't play that part I loved Arthur Lowe doing it and then I saw the kind of actors they were getting involved with the script and then Katherine came on board and it became unturned down and it sort of became a selfish decision that it just looked so much fun to do you know sometimes with a job you just go in the end I just want to do those stupid things with it those great actors you know yeah because I think that's what makes it because I think everyone's got nervous but then when you saw the cast you're like oh hang on this is a this is a good be in that gang yeah it was less pressure for you I guess Katherine because you your character is new yeah completely new I get thrown into Warmington on see I'm I'm a journalist doing a doing an article on the home guard and that caused a bit of havoc really throughout Falls for me see there's a big love affair that goes on um but exactly the same as Toby said when I saw the plethora of fantastic actors this one being right there yeah um I wanted to be I want to be part of it actually what's nice about it is you don't I mean it is a standalone it's not it's not like full of in jokes well obviously like a TV comedies 25 minutes long and in a movie what's great about the script is they had to find a way of extending and they can do a scale store a story of scale in a way that you can't do in a half-hour Studio sitcom there's a you know there's it's based on a true story what happens in the movie it was operation bodyguard where the Allies you'd used can I say this inflatable tank yeah ah you blew everything played ball tanks won't ruin your enjoyment look let's see a bit of Catherine Tobey and the boys in Dad's Army this is a taste of the trailer I give my mom love this laugh like a braid like kicking the laughs like a drain yeah until just shut up yeah actually that's army do they ever show it in America no it replaced religion in Canada we know I hear it's like the little irreverent of it they just love that you're talking about it all day today one in my junket cuz when did they stop begging they stopped making in 70-something yeah yeah and it's still on every week give it a real music everybody watches it yeah although the figures are great still of that yeah just when you think you've seen every episode you turn on it yeah pops up Wow you might need some more promotion in the african-american community it's music time I don't know if you're familiar with this this lady but she is stunning we have been waiting over three years for this moment but she's back now with her second album here performing her current single overcome it is a warm welcome back to the lovely Laura um Luna that you it's all Oh I'm hoping Toby doesn't suffer from allergies sorry and that is gorgeous thank you so much for that really really lovely it's the new single overcome and it is out now it's out now yeah my kid I've heard it on the radio and everything Doron boomer you so nice for you to have a new so this is special because remember my first ever TV moment was with you yes it will remembers I do three years ago Georgia now Wow you've killed a flock of something gobby driving the countryside and there's a whole album finally because you know cuz the fans we are one of them we've been waiting so it's called the dreaming room which is a lovely name and that's out on the 6th of May yes it is gorgeous yeah it took me three years to come up with some new songs I'm not ashamed of that no there's a lovely song wait for it yeah it's taken me like 14 years so 100,000 you'd have to die and be born again listen it's so lovely to have you back and congratulations our that single hook just really well and come wait for the album Laura Mvula everybody before we this time for a visit to the big red chair so who's there tonight hello sir hey Graham hi what's your name I'm David David lovely and where you from David well from hungry Oh made Britain healthier why thank you we all thank you okay off you go with the story some origin for mongery but my first visit visiting New York I was on a Christmas party with a bunch of people I didn't know very long and it was before cell phones so that was a phone in the living room I made a phone call to my cousin had a brief conversation among garyun and at the end of the conversation I was like whoo oh well everybody in the room froze looked at me and I was like telling my cousin why is everybody looking at me and my cousin said do you know what you just said in English cause in Hungarian means kiss on the cheek so I mean it means that in Hungary I didn't realize it either until like until everybody looked anyways children and it was a Christmas party with kids in there on the cheek here we go now you know what I could say here zero I read speed bump on his way to there he's loaded me didn't stop okay who's up next he's up next Oh sir hello who are you I'm Paul ball lovely and what do you do Paul I'm a tour guide a tour guide oh around what or where the BBC we just wanted his flipper if the walls could talk I mean this no never mind yeah okay is your story about that ball no it's not okay off you go with this story well my son Jay is about 18 now so he'll kill me for telling this story but when he was very little I took him swimming and it was his first time there without word out of nappies so before we headed to the pool I said do you need to go to the toilet hmm he said Elaine toilet he said no so we got in the pool eventually and as soon as we got in the pool he needed to go to the toilet so we went to the toilet and came back so I was a very bad father then I whispered in his ear if you need to wee again just do it in the pool no one will know everybody does it it's okay well and of course I regretted this five minutes later when he stood very proudly on the side of the pool water very majestically like an ornamental fountain what all the swimmers dived for cover gods who their whistles oh you can go in that retro front as why our website at this very address sadly that is it for tonight so at just say a huge thank you to my guests tonight Jack flack from Zoolander to Owen Wilson phonetic accrues and Ben Stiller thus fabulous Sir Elton John I'll see you you
