The Glow In The Dark Food Challenge

this week undo you man we're doing an episode about glow-in-the-dark hacks so I asked Mike and Alex to make glow-in-the-dark cookies milk and fried chicken for the show big boy I mean to a turn turn it up I can't see you boy hey tip oh I feel like I'm in a purple egg wow you got scary eyes oh really you want a party trick that will really knock your friends socks yeah hey yeah I do we're gonna make glow-in-the-dark buttercream well this thing is get warm first before we can do anything it's been in the fridge it's gonna take do something to speed it up a little bit just hold it there for a minute while I figure out what to do let's not tell her I think about this part of the process it's still pretty hard yeah I'll meet you back in there any switch to hard dude oh dude this thing is soft do you wash your hands no we also need a rubber spatula which we don't have maybe you can help me with that too I think they're very good look how loose it could be it's basically a rubber dude but could it be stiff if I need it we are also doing a chicken nugget taste test this week and the Franken round is gonna be two different nuggets that we're melding together into something we're calling a Doug it and Eddie has volunteered to make that so I'm gonna taste us different nuggets and see what what goes together you know what melds in my mouth perfectly I think this is KFC spices I can taste them Wendy's we got McDonald's this is like a frozen night was a good night here they meld but not the way I'd like so we have chick-fil-a and cold Junior she's like a hunk of meat I think this is that the combination of a bald nugget in a star I think it's gonna work out I love Nuggets what's very similar to what it's supposed to look like we're gonna have 4 cups of this watered sugar it's fine if a little spills in there and you're a real Emeril five tablespoons tonic contains I don't know how you say that's quinine queening this is apparently just gonna make it all glow I feel like every time something glows and anything it's like bad for you but it's like ginger ale already I'm gonna come yeah one two that's got even more five I don't know no more I should have measured three four five six that's good scrape a little strange technique skin thick sweet think it's so green we need to spread some of that buttercream on our cookie okay just dip usually a little twirl in there or whatever you hasn't grown nothing with a little bit I'd say the cream on its own is just kind of white this plate is white it's not glowing the same way this is glowing I think it worked we are also celebrating 900 episodes this week and one of the suggestions was to have a 900 marshmallow fight so keeping with the theme of food we decided to build a giant boxing glove that's made out of 900 marshmallows and chase is gonna be building that I've no idea how I'm gonna do this this could be some armor you know really protected three two one go running with this good workout then I have towards a little snack oh yeah so milk is white which means it should go on its own but to compete with our icing I think we need to make it pop a little bit right um in b50 if you crush it up and makes it liquid it's supposed to glow Romanian cheese's I have no idea how much this is or if you're supposed to consume this much I feel like these fingers are never gonna stop glowing after they depart boy that look like milk anymore it's kind of like cheese water well you should see how it tastes because if it doesn't taste like milk how's it taste do you mind go for it man mmm mmm it's good huh oh you smoke I think around like they're gonna like that okay it's very bizarre look at my hand wait open your mouth yes whoa you think doesn't work on the chicken grandma bisquits gonna help me out today can you deep-fry a stick probably don't the way we taking the trip Snug it down no get in the french fries you just poked and nugget make sure it's golden-brown oh snap we have nugget town now boy oh wow string the green one I expected not to work looks good this is very glowy when the vitamins mixed with the tonic water it looks pretty crazy it's coagulating dude do you think it tastes different I'll take a sip of the foam if you take us a bit of foam oh my god it's like a mustard dude new party trick nothing else this is like the first thing that people see when they arrive at hell it's this is like kids like late welcomes you there welcome I do not want to be your friend anymore kind of likes back off okay turn them back on not nearly as scary Wow actually this is a little scary
